Super nette Gastgeberin, tolles Wohlfühlambiente und liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück..Es gibt einen frischen Vitaminshot und zusätzlich einen Auswahl an individuell zubereiteten Bagels oder Pancakes. Ausserdem gibt es einen gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum mit Bar , Kamin , Sesseln und Spielen.

The warm welcome. The food was amazing. So tasty and authentic. Loved the peace and quiet and the cosy homely feeling in the place.

My stay was too short. Would love to go back for longer and if I do I know where I'll be staying.

The breakfast was brilliant and the host Rachael was amazingly helpful!

Belle propriété dans un très beau cadre (même si on ne voyait pas la mer). Intérieur très cosy, nous avons aimé passer du temps dans le salon . Accueil particulièrement sympathique, petit déjeuner exceptionnel ( tout fait maison).

the property was so clean and facilities were excellent. Beds were extremely comfy. the hot tub outside was also lovely. stand out for us was the breakfast it was unbelievable from the carrot and ginger shot to the home made overnight oats. the host was really helpful and friendly

Difficile de faire mieux.. accueii très chaleureux, chambre très agréable, lit King size super confortable, salon commun, incroyable petit déjeuner avec variation possible chaque matin, sauna possible. 3 nuits formidables. Un grand merci. Le coin et la ville valent le coup en plus.

Beautiful place, polite and welcoming hosts. Little extras like robes, slippers and the high quality breakfast make it feel exclusive.

Rachel is a great host with her furry friends. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived. The homemade breakfast is definitely a highlight apart from all the other good things - comfortable beds, beautiful views, calm. THANK YOU!

Auf dem Land und doch ist Schull zu Fuss erreichbar. Der wunderschöne Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Jacuzzi und Lounge sind perfekt für die Entspannung nach einem Tages-Roadtrip. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und frisch; Rachel bereitet jeden Morgen einen speziellen Saft vor. Und vor allem die Ruhe!

Es war alles tipp topp.

Très bel établissement légèrement retiré du village . Belle décoration, petits détails appréciés, accueil chaleureux même si nous sommes arrivés très à l’avance à cause du mauvais temps ! Déjeuner copieux , fait maison avec un petit bouquet de fleurs fraîches sur la table . Un salon cosy avec des boissons à disposition, une nuit calme et paisible loin du tumulte des pubs !

This place is wonderful as are the hosts. The breakfast was really special and the additional lemon drizzle cake was loved by my son. Everything here is done with thought and to make your stay special. Highly recommended

It is a lovely house in a beautiful garden. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was exceptional and Rachel is an extremely hospitable and helpful host. The place felt like a real home from home. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to go back some time.

Prezzo onesto, la coppia che lo gestisce era davvero dolcissima, un ambiente incredibile, un paesaggio meraviglioso. Lusso incredibile a un prezzo conveniente, potrebbe spaventare la distanza dalla città ma ne vale la pena, è una strada residenziale bellissima. Consigliatissimo.

Entire presentation and experience was excellent. To be highly commended and recommended.

If one could find fault with the accommodation it would be its distance from the town of Schull but that paled into insignificance when compared to the superb quality of the facility.

Tiny niggle that the duvet was very heavy. But we did have unusual and exceptional hot weather and the issue was easily rectified! Wouldn’t take away from my 10/10 score

The attention to detail is everything, softest bed linen, comfortable beds, fluffy towels and an amazing breakfast. Rachael is so welcoming and has brilliant advice on places to visit or swim. It’s a gentle 15 min downhill walk into town through rolling fields and an active walk back again, just what was needed after a good dinner!

Some of it may look a little dated, but everything that matters is just right

A real gem of a place. Set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings about a fifteen minute walk into town where there are plenty of drinking and eating places. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with so much choice including homemade delights. I would definitely highly recommend a stay here.

Rachel was fantastic at meeting my needs, arriving late in the night she had everything organised so well that it was just like arriving home. Room was perfect, had everything you would need for your stay. Bed was comfortable and breakfast the next morning was perfect. I have stayed here previously and was only delighted to return. I will be back again.

Lovely location with Mountain View. Nice outside sitting space, indoor lounge with honesty bar and good area to meet other guests. Exceptional breakfast and Rachael very helpful and lovely manner. Exceptional breakfast. 10 minute walk down into Schull and uphill on way home but very manageable if reasonably fit.

Lovely breakfast and the staff had even arranged an early breakfast for a day when we had to leave early. Super friendly staff and accommodated all the requests we had asked for. The sauna and hot tub were great experiences and super easy to make use of. The dogs in the premise were super friendly too.

The host was very friendly! The place had a lot of space and it was very peaceful. Good breakfast, home made, and they did put in a lot of effort. A very easy going stay!

Purtroppo non abbiamo soggiornato poiché la signora, nel tardo pomeriggio ci avvertiva che la nostra stanza non era utilizzabile a causa di un cattivo odore persistente.

La proprietaria ha “provato”, senza riuscirci a trovarci un’altra sistemazione senza risultato (nei dintorni le strutture erano tutte al completo tranne alcune con prezzi esorbitanti). Verso le 18:00 ci siamo trovati a dovere cercare una stanza per trascorrere la notte. La signora ha insistito affinché cancellassi io la prenotazione come se fosse stato un mio problema. Ritengo che l’onere di trovarci una sistemazione sarebbe dovuto essere loro, a qualsiasi costo, anche economico. Abbiamo sollevato il problema anche a Booking e siamo in attesa di un riscontro.

Heerlijke Lodge dichtbij Schull. Fijne kamer, geweldig ontbijt en super aardige mensen. Grote tuin en gebruik van sauna bij te boeken. Ik zou er zo weer teruggaan.

A fantastic stay with a fabulous host - the room was spacious , the bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, gab noch gute Tips für ein Abendessen und auch für die Weiterfahrt nach Mizen Head. Es war auch eine sehr ruhige Lage, aber war war doch schnell im Dorf.

Friendly, good food, beautiful location

Rachel went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Everything was clean, comfortable and convenient. The breakfast and other homemade goodies were incredible.

I found the Corthna lodge by chance. My first place I left after one night of a two night stay. on arrival I met Rachel, who runs the Lodge whom had a very big smile and an even bigger welcome. She gave all the information that you need as a guest and show me all the amenities of the lodge. My room was absolutely first class and pristine , it such a lovely aura there. The place is spotless and warm , there are items such as home made scones fruit tea and coffee etc in the dining room to enjoy through the stay.Such a wonderful thing to be available during your stay. The food was amazing and plentiful. Rachel's give you a list of items for your choice and is cooked to a high standard and great presentation. During the evening Rachel is the perfect host and very happy to chat to people and help them in anyway. I would, as a solo traveller would highly recommend a stay at the lodge. I'm absolutely going to stop there again in the near future due to all that I mentioned above, plus it was so peaceful I became so relaxed and content while there. Please try the Corthna lodge and you will not be disappointed. 😁😁😁

Loved the host Rachel. Very welcoming. Suggested a king size bed room instead of double and loved it. Had healthy, homemade breads and juices and wide range of breakfast choices.

Drove into town with easy parking lot in town. Usually like parking and walking in town, but this worked out just fine. Had a cozy fire in sitting room.
