Lugar idílico y cabaña espaciosa y preciosa encima del mar. Muy bonita, espaciosa y bien decorada, todo muy nuevo.

Faltaban complementos básicos para el baño como cepillo y pasta de dientes, y el agua de la ducha salía turbia.

Etwas unsauber. Fehlendes Moskitonetz. Wasserdruck oft niedrig. Müll und Verunreinigungen im Wasser. Kommunikation mit Personal oft schwierig.

Todas las playas que conocimos de la isla eran mas lindas que la del hotel. Había leído que habia pescadores en los alrededores de la habitacion, son muy respetuosos pero secaban pescado al sol, por momentos el olor era demasiado. Esta claro en la publicación que no tiene aire acondicionado, pero si volviera a Koh Rong elegiría si o si con aire. Una noche nos quedamos sin cenar porque cerraron el restaurant del hotel antes del horario de cierre, sabiendo que no hay lugares cercanos para comer. La respuesta del mozo fue: "cerramos antes porque todos habían comido". Menos nosotros claramente! En conclusión para el precio que tiene, hay mejores hoteles. Pedimos un kayak, estaban rotos.

Out of this world setting. Probably one of the best views to wake up to ever. The suite felt private, secluded and rather decadent. The breakfast was delivered at a time of our choosing and sustained us until evening dinner. We were lucky that the tide was out in the day time and we were able to stroll incredible white palm fringed beaches. Lovely staff in the main resort.

You have locals next door and although you can't see them, there was the occasional waft of simmering fish sauce and stereo blasting (which they turned off when we asked). However this all added to the authentic experience.

Personnel souriant et arrangeant, à l’écoute et aide de bon cœur. Le logement est spacieux, les draps étaient propres, lit tres confortable, serviettes bain (grande et petite) et plage étaient fournies. Restaurant proposant des plats variés, le petit déjeuner inclus peut être très copieux (sélection de différentes choses le premier matin pour personnaliser les suivants au besoin), prix plus chers que sur le continent mais restent raisonnables. Calme la plupart du temps à part à certaines heures où les bateaux de pêche stationnés un peu plus loin partent ou rentrent (soir et matin).

Passage pour rejoindre le logement devant un bâtiment où sont séchés des poissons (odeurs) et eau du réseau (toilettes/lavabo salle de bain) jaunâtre par moments. La descente avec les bagages entre la route et le resort était un peu sportive, la montée a été faite avec l’aide du personnel donc pas un problème.

The room was absolutely stunning,as were the amazing views. The dinner at the restaurant was fantastic & we also enjoyed the snorkelling & fishing trip. The water was very clean & fun to swim in & it was next to a little fishing pier which was fun to watch the boats come & go.

We had to ask for our breakfast to be removed at 3pm & ask for a room refresh,staff were not very present.

WOW ! WOW! WOW ! un endroit Incroyable, cette maison a un pouvoir!! ,si ! si ...! elle vous rends zen, heureux, relax, reposé.... Si vous souhaitez vraiment débrancher votre cerveau et vous retrouver dans un endroit paradisiaque avec une vue incroyable sur des nuances spectaculaire de couleurs d'eau de Mer et une atmosphère hors du temps, FONCEZ !! Nous avons séjourné dans une maison sur pilotis toute en bois, décorée avec goût, un mélange d'aventure et de confort, coupé du monde avec simplement les sons de la mer et cette vue depuis le ponton en bois qui fait le tour de la maison, ce séjour vient de passer numéro 1 dans notre top voyage ( ayant voyagé et séjourné dans des lieux paradisiaques depuis de nombreuses années) petit déjeuner exceptionnel apporté tout les matins à l'heure que vous aurez choisi la veille. lever et coucher de soleil à tomber !! la maison se situe au bout d'un ponton en bois juste avant il y a des maisons de pécheurs qui sont vraiment adorables. le fait qu'il n'y ai pas de climatisation n'est pas du tout un problème, le fait d'être sur l'eau avec l'air qui circule et les ventilateurs vous n'avez pas chaud du tout la nuit ( et il faisait 35 degrés la journée lors de notre séjour) vous pouvez prendre vos repas au restaurant du ressort, qui se trouve à 5 minutes à pieds, les repas sont de qualité et très abordables Mireille et son équipe sont très réactifs merci beaucoup pour ce moment passé dans cette maison nous avons pris plein la vue!!

tout était parfait vraiment, juste un détail : il faudrait juste prévoir de l'aide pour récupérer nos bagages dans la maison lors du check-in et check-out, nous avons demandé mais il n'y avait pas de personnel disponible à ces moments là, difficile pour 2 personnes de 55 ans de porter 4 sacs dont 2 de 20 kilos jusqu'au bout du ponton sans chariot, cela fait 350 mètres environs, nous l'avons fait avec l'aide du tuktuk

Super schönes Haus mitten auf dem Wasser mit einer traumhaft Aussicht! Frühstück gab es jeden Morgen aufs Zimmer so das man die Aussicht genießen konnte.

Am Anreisetag hatten wir super schlechtes Wetter mit starken Wellengang und Wind, da das Haus sehr offen gestaltet ist, war die Geräusch Kulisse in der Nacht extrem laut! Wir waren insgesamt 3 Nächte da, in den 2 anderen Nächten war es es aber ok! Das Haus ist wirklich traumhaft man sollte vorsichtshalber Oropax mitnehmen :)

Séjour de rêve ! Le cadre est magnifique et la chambre parfaite et confortable! L’atmosphère est magique, et authentique, on est proche des pêcheurs locaux! Le restaurant est super, les cocktails incroyables et le petit-déjeuner servis directement dans la chambre est délicieux! Le personnel est très sympathique et aux petits soins! Vraiment une magnifique manière de finir notre tour du Cambodge ! On a adoré nager dans la mer directement depuis la chambre et observer la faune marine ! Bref un séjour de rêve à Koh Rong !

Prachtige suite met zéér veel smaak ingericht. Zeer ruim! Alles voor handen en vooral een prachtig zicht bij ontwaken. De foto's zijn realistisch en spreken voor zich. De ideale afsluiter van een drukke reis. Het ontbijt is overheerlijk en absolute top!! Verder kunnen we enkel vaststellen dat de (Nederlandse) uitbaatster veel belang hecht aan het integreren van de Cambodjaanse cultuur en zelf ook de plaatselijke mensen meeneemt in het verhaal rond het gehele Palm Beach resort. Dit is wat ons betreft een mooie manier van wederzijds respect tussen de belangen en de waarden. Mooi!

De vissers-enclave waarop de suite gelegen is, is voor ons best charmant, tussenin de locale werkzaamheden Al moet je wel de bedrijvigheid (bootverkeer, achtergrondmuziek) in al zijn aspecten erbij nemen.

Imagine the sound of the water surrounding you, the light touch of the wind, the moon high in the sky and its reflection on the water, imagine swimming amongst the stars... Imagine the blue of the sky, the turquoise of the sea and the fluffy white clouds... Imagine a bed suspended above the sea, rocking slowly... We came to relax, and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect place to do so. The breakfast was great, the food was amazing, the people were kind and helpful. I hope we'll be back soon!

Everything was great! I think the only thing we missed was a fan in the dining area, but it might be due to the refurbishing. We were there during the cool season. I wonder if it would get too hot during certain periods of the year.

Die Lage direkt über dem Meer mit Blick auf die Bucht sind wirklich atemberaubend. Das Essen und die Drinks, die man am hoteleigenen Strand zu sich nehmen kann, waren sehr lecker. Großen Dank an Alan, der die leckersten Cocos Shakes macht. Wir hatten den ganzen Strand für uns allein. Das Paradies lässt grüßen.

Man muss damit leben können, dass die dort lebenden Fischer in unmittelbarer Nähe sind und jeden Tag mit ihren sehr lauten Booten zum Fischen rausfahren. Außerdem muss man über einen Steg an den Häusern vorbei, um zum Bungalow zu kommen, grundsätzlich stellt das aber kein Problem dar.

La nourriture et les cocktails ! Effectivement 2$ c’est remarquable !

Petite bicoque au bout d'un ponton, avec comme seul voisin la mer et l'horizon. Certes ce décors à un prix, mais si vous voyagez comme nous pour votre lune miel, vous vous en souviendrez toute votre vie.

Le logement et la vue depuis le logement

L’accueil qui a été inexistant. La proximité avec les pêcheurs qui nous empêchait de dormir (l’odeur quand nous rejoignons notre chambre et le bruit des bateaux).

Endroit exceptionnel, logement magnifique, le soir nous pouvons voir les planctons juste en descendant de la terrasse.. juste le paradis Seuls au monde, au milieu de l’eau…

Un lieu incroyable !! La chambre est très belle, bien équipée, literie très confortable. Nous avons adoré prendre le petit déjeuner directement apporté au logement. Une bulle de détente, nous avons été très dépaysés et avons choisi de rester une nuit de plus. Un endroit vraiment magnifique qu’on ne peut que recommander. Nous avons aussi bien apprécié de dîner dans l’établissement mère : le Palm Beach Bungalow Resort, terrasse très agréable et personnel gentil

Un logement vraiment magnifique, les pieds dans l'eau (attention uniquement à la marée haute! quand elle est basse comme les matins, le logement est entouré de sable! donc pas de plouf matinal!)

A noter (même si en soi cela n'a en rien dérangé notre séjour) : le logement n'est pas isolé comme il semble l'être sur les photos : il s'agit de la dernière petite maison d'un regroupement de plusieurs autres (4 en total je crois, habitées par les pêcheurs)

…everything; it was our perfect stay. But we especially enjoyed the village atmosphere: boozing with fisherman on a rainy day while waiting for the seafood hand-selected from the boat’s catch the night before, to be prepared for our enjoyment. Don’t miss the cornershop’s steamed pumpkin cake!

From a Western perspective, you might find that the Cambodian experience generally, feels a bit different — sometimes in ways that catch you off guard. The most amazing place we have ever stayed at! The accommodation was so much better than the pictures shows! We stayed two nights but we could easily have stayed a few more nights. The room is located away from the property which is both good and bad. Good because of the privacy and very nice view. Bad because we lived door to door with locals, who were sweet but listened to high music from time to time and also sang a lot of karaoke. Nothing that the hotel can change but did make an impact on the stay. The food was great and with reasonable prices. They also helped with renting a scooter. Great restaurant and bar facilities. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

We were informed that we could easily order to get the food delivered, but we needed to go to the restaurant to make the order. It was not possible to order for both lunch and dinner at the same time since it was not “possible in the system”. Not the biggest issue but a bit inconvenient. It could easily be fixed with a what’s app number to text to. (They had another unknown app but it did not work to download when we tried). When ordering in the bar, it was also a bit of chaotic and felt like a lot of new staff (only one specific knew how to take breakfast order and payments). Also when asking for refill of the complimentary water for second night, the receptionist said it was only when cleaning. I said they did not need to spend time on cleaning, we only needed the water. But “no, only when cleaning”. So I said “okey, then clean” and they sent three people to clean - which was totally unnecessary. So the service level could have been better.

The location itself was very beautiful it goes directly to the beach. It has this floating bed which I really like cause I can relax, watching the waves of the ocean and the sunset while listening to my favorite song to their Bluetooth speaker.

I ordered English breakfast but they give me different meal. The waiter did not allowed us to eat in the room I mean what’s the use of those many tables in the room if we cannot use it?

Super private amazing property. Right on the water. Excellent breakfast included and delivered to your room every morning. Excellent choice for people that need to relax in privacy. Property has restaurant. Just a note there is absolutely nothing around the property. So if your goal is to party this is absolutely wrong place. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Everything was great

If you cannot afford the more expensive Saa Song private Island Hotel, this is definitly the next best option! They bring your breakfast to your room at the requested time. It was the perfect way to finish our holiday in Cambodia

can't think of anything

The accommodation is very rustic and has a lovely view out over the water. The location is very secluded and good for those wanting to get away. The seclusion is also a bit of a negative as there are no immediate options other than the Palm Beach restaurant/bar, although their food and staff are quite good. There is only fans in the suite and no AC which means the humidity is at 90% all the time over the water.

It's a true paradise. Very special and unique set-up. Quiet, right at the water, private, and all one could ask for.

The communication in advance should be improved. It should have made clear how to check in.

Beautiful place-literally felt like paradise. Owner was friendly and amazing. The snorkelling day trip couldn’t be recommended enough- highlight of our entire time in Cambodia!

A bit humid

The suite is everything! Every detail of the room was thought with love and comfort. We enjoyed the bed swing and the hammocks by the sea, and loved the food! Even though there’s no a/c, the fans and the breeze do the job of keeping the room breezy. Miri was a wonderful host, and here beautiful story is worth hearing.

Wish there was more to do at the evenings.

I was so impressed! It was like a perfect honeymoon suite! If you like to be social you can hang out in the bar with the rest of the guests. The staff and owners were really helpful and service minded!

What an complete gem! Absolutely stunning surroundings in a really cute villa right over the water. This is a place you will never forget. Not located in the party part of the island if that's what you are looking for but absolutely worth a visit while in koh rong. The staff at Palm Beach are adorable and did everything possible to make out stay unforgettable. Thansk you!

Best ever. As a regular guest on Palmbeach I stayed this time for two days in Salacia’s Suite on the Palmbeach pier. Never had such an amazing room in my life. Just walk out of your bed into the sea. 100% privacy on your private terrace with a swing bed, sofa and a special kind of hammocks above the sea. Sleeping with the doors open the sea breeze fluttering your bed sheets, like a dream. I would call it a honeymoon suite. This bungalow standing in the sea is incomparable with all the new concrete bungalows on the island. For the rest of my life there will be no hotel room good enough anymore.

That we had to leave, cause I want to live there.
