Palm Beach Bungalow Resort

L’emplacement est absolument magnifique, d’un calme absolu et d’une beauté à couper le souffle. Les bungalows sont très confortables et bien équipés. Le restaurant est super et le staff est dans l’ensemble adorable (dédicace à Chom Nan pour sa gentillesse et son service absolument impeccable). Le côté “rustique” n’est absolument dérangeant et nous plonge carrément dans l’ambiance de l’île !

Prix des services et des repas un peu cher.

A great place to get away from city life. Wonderful and nice service

Sehr saubere Küche im Restaurant und kurze Wartezeiten. Direkte Strandlage (ganzer Tag Ebbe). Kinderfreundlich (Spielecke, Kindermenus etc.). Gutes Essen.

Beim Personal 50/50 Chance: Entweder sehr aufmerksam und freundlich oder extrem abweisend und unaufmerksam. Die Bungalowtüre lässt sich nur schwer schliessen / öffnen.

The stuff were just a amazing, the food so jummy and the milkshakes are awesome !!! You can rent a scooter ther to visit lonely beach ( 20 minutes away ) and stay chill in the hamooks, the views from the bungalow were incredible. You can go on foot to the beach

Way too overpriced for what you’re getting.: Bungalows are basically shacks with big gaps near the top - you can hear your neighbours snoring, fighting, having intercourse… as if they were doing it right in your bed. No internet in the rooms, spotty even at the restaurant. Beach not really suitable for swimming.

L'emplacement dans le nord de l'île, le calme ,la plage magnifique.Ils apportent café et eau tous les jours au bungalow On a une impression d'être seuls loin de tout ,le personnel est très serviable et souriant comme souvent au cambodge.La petite terrasse du bungalow et les hamacs sont un plus . Les transats au bord de la plage sont gratuits, on peut y prendre aussi ses repas, je m'y suis crue un petit peu !

Pour les réservations bateau il faut être 6 minimum et compliqué du coup d'assurer une réservation même sur plusieurs jours, bien que nous comprenions qu'il faille bien sur remplir les bateaux afin que ce soit rentable

Nothing Would do it all again!

We had such a lovely time here that I was quite sad to leave. We originally booked for a week and then extended by 4 days. As beach bungalows go, these are very good. They are spacious, the bed is comfortable, there is a mosquito net, there is shelving to put your belongings on and some hanging space. The shower is hot. Cleaning is done whenever you ask. The view of the sea from our beachfront room was gorgeous. Yes there are gaps in the wood but that is the same in any beach hut. It allows some breeze through in the night too, although there is a good strong fan. The staff are excellent. So helpful with everything. They even got us a bike to rent from somewhere else when they had run out. The food is really good and tasty. It is a little pricier than other places but the portions are large so we sometimes shared a meal. Fabulous noodle soup. The cocktail bar is open from 1 to 6 for happy hour and the drinks are great. The sea at the front of the resort is not great for swimming due to rocks but there is a lovely area to the side that is rock free and a good depth if you walk out a little way. It is really chilled and quiet at Palm Beach. It is a little out of the way but it's easy to get to by tuk tuk and easy to reach other places by bike. The roads are not busy and are pretty flat. I would like to thank everyone at Palm Beach for a fabulous stay.

When staying for a length of time it would have been good to be able to choose things from the lunch menu in the evening so there was more choice. Also I feel strongly, and mention this on every review, that all resorts should now be offering a water refill station. The plastic bottle situation is really bad everywhere. Some places charge some money to refill and I'm happy to do that rather than using more and more bottles.

Bungalowy to świetny pomysł na nocleg bliżej natury. Podobała nam się atmosfera samego obiektu i obsługa niezwykle miła i gotowa do pomocy. Wynajęliśmy skutery i skorzystaliśmy z rejsu łodzią to naprawdę fajna atrakcja. Jedzenie wyśmienite.

Mieszkając w drewnianych bungalowach niestety słychać bardzo dużo i o ile byliśmy gotowi na naturę i wioskową atmosferę to niestety trafiła nam się głośna para ale poprosiliśmy obsługę o zmianę bungalowów i bez problemów nam to umożliwili.

A lovely, spacious bungalow that was clean, quiet, and peaceful, with a beautiful ocean view.

Not a great beach for swimming or walking. The mosquitoes were overwhelming, even with insect repellent.

Ik verbleef 3 nachten. Fijn resort aan het strand, personeel was erg aardig.

Het ligt iets meer afgelegen maar ik vond dat juist wel fijn.

Pas grand chose...voire rien

L'accès à la plage via les mangroves, pas d'accès direct par une belle plage. Un des accès mène sur une mer pleine de rochers blessants. Les chambres ont besoin d'un énorme coup de frais. Salle de bain salle: Eau marron sortant de la robinetterie, Joints sales, carrelage cassé. La proprete est le gros point noir. Les chambres ne sont pas faites tous les jours. Le lit est un peu juste. Le site indique activités nautiques, j'ai dit à mes enfants qu'ils pourraient sûrement faire du canoë ou du paddle mais il n'y avait absolument rien mis à part un filet de badminton cassé où j'ai vu d'autres enfants s'amuser à jeter leur clé de chambre en guise de balle tellement ils s'ennuyaient. Pas de climatisation donc difficile à supporter en saison sèche. Mal situé, allez plutôt sur pagoda beach ou sok San. Très déçu de mon séjour , je m'y sentais tellement mal que j'ai réduit mon séjour.

Des petits bungalows sur pilotis, tout en bois très joliment amenagés. Pas de climatisation mais ça n'est absolument pas nécessaire compte tenu de l'aeration naturelle, le ventilateur suffit largement. Les cocktails de l'happy hour du bar de plage pour terminer l'après-midi. Le large choix et la grande qualité de la restauration, et il y a de la bière pression ! La gentillesse de toutes les personnes rencontrées

De lokatie en het huisje is supermooi.

Het personeel, onvriendelijk, ongezellige sfeer. We hebben twee dagen eerder uitgecheckt. Hadden de reviews beter moeten lezen. Lokatie is prachtig, sfeer ontzettend ongezellig. We zien dat de eigenaar op elke review reageert, maar doet er echt helemaal niks mee.

Nous sommes restés 4 nuits et n'avons pas bougé du resort. Restau dispo sur place. Plage superbe avec et très safe pour les enfants en bas âge. Je recommande.

Rust laidback maar ook gezelligheid met heerlijk eten en drinken en dat voor prijzen die je achteraf helemaal doet beseffen...JA Dit was een top keuze!! Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme. Tout y est. Location de scooter si possible pour la journée. Repas parfait et le personnel très bien.

Beliggenheden lige ud til stranden. Meget simple men rene og pæne bungalows.

Personalet virkede ikke særligt velkomne og kunne fremstå lidt irriterede når vi skulle bestille mad eller andet.

Grot keuze ontbijt kaart in het pas gerenoveerde restaurant in een warme atmosfeer. Ben zelf eigenaar geweest van groot strandpaviljoen, je kan mijn beoordeling serieus nemen.vooropgesteld: ik ben sinds 35 jaar Azië fan en was daar in alle landen. In de categorie houten bungalows steekt Palm beach bungalows er met kop en schouders bovenuit. Iedere keer weer spijt dat ik weer een tekort verblijf heb geboekt.Het is de plek voor een super relaxte tijd , urenlange strand wandelingen, te mijmeren, weg te dromen. Ik kom superlatieven tekort.

Je zou zeggen.. err valt altijd wat te zeuren... kan ( zelfs als Nederlander)... geen minpunten bedenken.

This is our second time staying here because we love it so much! The whole atmosphere is calm and serene, great beach, beautiful water - you can’t ask for a better location. The rooms are rustic but clean and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed beach getaway. The staff were incredibly helpful organizing renting a scooter, checking us in early, and overall friendly. We especially loved the 1-6 pm happy hour! We will be back!

Eine sehr schöne aufgeräumte Bungalowanlage. Das Personal sehr freundlich und spricht englisch. Typische Strandbungalows. Warmwasser zum Duschen ist vorhanden. Auch der Aufenthaltsbereich an der Rezeption hat uns gefallen. Scooter werden zum Verleih angeboten. Eine schöne Mischung aus jüngeren und älteren Gästen, keine "Backpackerabsteige". Auch einige Pärchen mit Kindern vor Ort, Spielzeug im Aufenthaltsbereich vorhanden. Somit durchaus auch eine Option für Leute die mit Kindern reisen. Wenn wir wieder auf Koh Rong sind, buchen wir sicher wieder hier.

Wäre schön gewesen, hätte die kleine runde Bar 1-2 Stunden länger geöffnet. Khmer-Food war lecker, war aber geschmacklich sehr auf westliche Kundschaft ausgerichtet.

I would have liked to have a few massages at the resort and to do some activities like yoga, kayaking, and some weights.

diese sehr urbane gepflegte ursprüngliche Anlage ist etwas einmaliges in der heutigen perfekten Welt. Zum Glück keine sinnlose Klimaanlage, viel Baumaterial aus der Umgebung und alles so natürlich wie möglich. Fast wie Robinson auf der Insel. Sicher keine Ferienanlage für Massentourismus, wo der Wasserdruck „stimmt“ das Internet über Glasfaser funktioniert und eintönige edle Betonbauten glänzen. Die lieb geführte Strandbar von Martin offeriert für ALDI-Fan Bier für 1 USD und alle Cocktail zu 2USD. Das Essen ist sehr gut und wer etwas sparen möchte, geht ca 500 Meter über die Anlage hinaus zum Nachbar. Etwa 2.5 Kilometer westlich führt ein Franzose ein Restaurant Das „Naturell Kitchen“ nach dem Tempel links abbiegen. Wir gingen zu Fuss hin und mit dem TukTuk für 5 USD zurück. Er hat nur 3 Menu zur Auswahl Kosten 10 - 12 - 14 Dollar aber sehr sehr gut gekocht und ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art.

wir hoffen, der Besitzer der Anlage hat den Mut, dieses urbane Juwel noch möglichst lange von den modernen Einflüsse fern zu halten.

Location is nice but there is no beach , no place to swim and enjoy the water . Very professional staff in restaurant and bar. Happy hour and drinks for 2 usd is nice.,

Our bungalow was very used . Cold water only . No chair, no place to hang a towel or simply unpack staff. Outside we had no hammocks , no chairs no place to sit and nowhere to hang a wet bathing suits. Water in this place in the see is not nice . Lots of garbage in bushes .

Cocktail specials, food was awesome, staff were friendly and helpful.

Mosquitos for days (or sand fleas). Definitely did not take enough mozzie spray or ours wasnt strong enough
