Alles war perfekt. Das Zimmer, der Ausblick, die Lage, die Menschen. Sehr freundliche und schnelle Kommunikation. Sehr leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen. Wir waren drei Tage da und haben es sehr genossen. Man kann sich vor Rt Fahrräder leihen oder ein Scooter mieten. Die Terrasse ist einfach wunderschön, wir haben Abends gerne da gesessen :)

Beautiful Homestay with very nice and helpful staff! It is located a bit outside the center but I loved that, it's quite and you have a nice look at the rice field. The dorm has two toilets and two showers and every bed is like a cabinet with a door and a window so it's perfect for privacy as well as a nice view. The private rooms are pretty and spacious and comfortable. You can have breakfast and dinner at the homestay. The family that owns the place is very nice and helped to book the bus to Laos. You can rent a motorbike or take a bike. Very great service and place, I have nothing to complaint, would come back again for sure!

Excellent stay in Dien Bien Phu. Amazing value for money. Such an authentic and historical town. Hosts are ao friendly and accommodating.

What a place. I ended up staying here while waiting to be able to cross the border into Laos, and I wish the waiting took a bit longer. The homestay is located on the edge of beautiful rice fields and there are plenty of places from where you can take the view in, like a deck with small chairs or hammocks in different places. I was warmly welcomed and throughout my stay the hosts made sure I was at ease. I say I was ‘waiting for my visa’ and by that I mean that I only had to give my passport to the host and then she arranged all the rest for me. She also arranged the bus to Dien Bien, and the transit to Luang Prabang. Then when leaving, there were problems with the bus but she made sure I was on another bus and on the way to Laos. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax with a beautiful view - because I did just that.

Like anywhere in Vietnam you will encounter bugs and mosquito....nothing you can do about it.

Un de mes Homestay préféré au vietnam! Hien a été une hôte incroyable, elle m’a aider à réserver mon trajet pour rejoindre le Laos, elle m’a emmené jusqu’au bus très tôt le matin, je suis très reconnaissante, merci encore. Sinon l’hostel a une super vue sur les rizières, il est très propre, il y a de l’eau filtrée à disposition. Enfin tout est parfait quoi. Je recommande vraiment !

All was great no complaints

This was a unique experience. Room had a beautiful view on the rice fields. Hien was lovely, and she cooked us one of our best dinners in Vietnam. Nice bathroom. As you’re out of the city center and in the middle of rice fields, expect some insects at night, but it’s normal and part of the charm in a way. I wished I could have stayed longer.

La chambre propre et confortable le balcon avec vue. La salle de bain au top,avec tout ce qui va avec. Location de scooter et prêts gracieusement de vélos ( à vérifier l'état avant de partir,car gares aux surprises ) Possibilité de se restaurer sur place. Endroit au calme. Hôte charmante qui fait son max pour nous combler. Excellent Rapport qualité prix .

The owner Hien was very kind and helpful, she recommended us the best way to get to our destination in Laos. She was also a good cook.

Hien is an amazing host. The rooms are beautiful, views are breathtaking. It's also possible to rent a scooter here.

During our stay there was a lot of noise from the surrounding houses due to Tet. This is not the host fault, just something to keep it mind if you're booking.

La propriétaire nous a aidez pour booker notre transport jusque bac ha qui a prit 2 h de moins que le temps estimé. L’endroit est à 1,5 km de la ville et passe au travers des rizière. Je recommande vivement.

La jeune propriétaire de ce homestay est très dynamique et souriante. Elle nous a aidé de manière très efficace à organiser notre arrivée en voiture depuis la frontière du Laos, et notre départ en minibus vers notre étape suivante. L’emplacement est très agréable, avec une très belle vue sur les rizières et les collines de Dien Bien Phu. La décoration des chambres / bungalows est originale. La piscine et la terrasse avec baignoire sont un vrai plus !

L’établissement étant situé dans un quartier bien vivant, prévoyez les boules Quies pour dormir (comme à peu près partout au Vietnam !)

Le léger retrait dans la campagne est pour nous un atout. grâce au prêt de vélo gratuit nous avons pu nous rendre dans le centre de Dien Bien phu à 15 minutes à vélo à travers les rizières. Ambiance familiale. Possibilité de repas en famille.

L accueil, la chambre très confortable, la terrasse donnant sur la rivière magnifique, le coin thé, café à volonté sur la terrasse.

This was my favourite homestay during a month long trip in Vietnam. It felt truly genuine with a lovely family. We all had simple and delicious meals together that was cooked fresh every evening. After long bus rides and lots of traveling, I really appreciated decompressing for a few days and just enjoyed walking around the town, rising at dawn to the sound of cockerels and birds singing, reading, watching farmers working in the rice paddies right in front of balcony. Bliss.

I really enjoyed my stay. Only suggestion is bedside reading lamps.

J’ai adoré ! La famille est d’une extrême gentillesse, attentive à tous nos besoins. J’ai participé aux dîners avec eux le soir, on a cuisiné des spring rolls. Possibilité d’emprunter des vélos, au cœur des rizières c’est vraiment un super emplacement et le centre ville reste proche. Et les chambres sont incroyables et hyper confort. Je recommande !

Cette guesthouse est très récente et gérée par un jeune couple sympathique. La chambre est très grande, le couchage est bon tout comme le wifi. Le cadre, avec vue sur des rizières, est agréable. L'environnement est très calme Des vélos sont à disposition gratuitement pour visiter la ville et se rendre dans le Centre.

Dien Bien Phu est une ville assez étendue et l'établissement est éloigné du Centre et du terminal de bus. Une seule personne parle anglais ce qui complique la communication. La propreté dans les espaces communs (cuisine, douches) est d'un niveau moyen. Le petit-déjeuner est très léger (prix non justifié).

Je recommande cette homestay. C'est l'un des meilleurs endroits où j'ai séjourné au Vietnam. La famille est très accueillante et aidante. Le dortoir est très bien équipé avec une vue magnifique sur les rizières.

Les 20 mns avant de croiser une personne pour m'accueillir et surtout la première chose que l'on ma demandé : Voulez vous une jeune fille ou un jeune garçon pour passer la nuit ? Tout simplement lamentable.

ルアンパバーンまでの越境のバス、電車の手配を手伝ってくれました。 ディエンビエンフーで自前でバスを探すのに結構苦労していたので本当に助かりました。ありがとうございました。

Where can I start with so many positive things to talk about? Hien the landlady was the best host I have ever had. She made a diverse and delicious range of local food every night; was great at booking onwards transport and had a fridge full of beer! The homestay is situated in an extremely friendly hamlet, with stinging views over a rice paddy. A 10 minute ride or 30 minute walk away from the center of the historic town of Dien Ben Phu. For history lovers it's a must. The rooms were simply stunning incorporating the local Thai cultures exceptional carpentry. Do me a favour and stay here for at least a week! I will definitely return soon.

The only criticism I can think of is that Hien worked too hard over the week I stayed.

Très bon accueil chez Hien. Des chambres spacieuses et confortables. Un petit-déjeuner copieux et varié. Une vue sur les rizières fantastique.

Nous sommes arrivés le premier jour des festivités du nouvel an. Les restaurants étaient peu disponibles pour nous. Le mari de Hien s'est cassé un bras juste avant notre arrivée. Bien que présente Hien était préoccupée par cet incident : normal. Nous lui souhaitons tous nos vœux de bon rétablissement.

Very nice location, and the rooms are spacious and well-made. The hosts are very friendly and want to help you with everything! Good that they have bikes available for free and scooters available for rent, for if you want to explore Dien Bien and the surroundings.

Guesthouse en dehors de la ville, au calme avec vue sur les rizières. La guesthouse possède une piscine, une petite terrasse avec vue sur les rizières (pour les gens qui n'ont pas la vue depuis leur chambre). Les hôtes proposent un repas le soir. La cuisine est délicieuse. Nous avons passé 3 nuits et chaque soir nous avons découvert de nouvelles spécialités. Super hôtes, à l'écoute. Prévenant pour des questions de visa, etc.. Ils sont en train de construire des dortoirs et nouvelle terrasse avec vue sur les rizières. Je recommande vraiment cette guesthouse.

Cet établissement est parfaitement situé à proximité immédiate des rizières et de la ville. Le cadre est très sympathique et les chambres ont des vues magnifiques sur les couchés de soleil sur les rizières. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins, ils nous ont aidé pour tous nos déplacements. Les petits déjeuners sont très bien et repas du soir excellent et très copieux !!! Nous avons pu avoir des vélos gratuitement, très pratique pour nous rendre sur les lieux historiques.

Les seuls points que nous pourrions mettre en négatif sont le manque d’insonorisation des chambres (rien de catastrophique) et les matelas un peu dur (tout dépends de vos habitudes).

A Thía is a wonderful family-owned place just outside the city center. Since there’s really no reason to stay in central Điện Biên Phủ, I absolutely recommend stopping at this very comfortable homestay near the rice fields, where you can enjoy the feeling of a close-knit neighborhood. They offer free bicycles and a moped for rent for just $5 a day. Everything was perfect, but the best part by far is the hosts. The husband is an amazing cook, and the wife has outstanding organizational skills. She arranged our Laos visa in just two days by sending our passports to Hanoi, and also booked a van and train to reach Luang Prabang, all for only a few dollars extra. We were truly impressed by her efficiency and kindness!

One morning the rooster was particularly enthusiastic about singing, but hey, still better than car noise!

Die Gastgeberin war super hilfreich und lieb! Sie hat abends für uns mega lecker gekocht. Das beste Essen in den 3 Wochen Vietnam! Ausserdem hat sie um 5 Uhr Morgens extra noch unser Gepäck zum Bus gefahren. Zimmer und Ausblick waren auch großartig.

Den einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die bretterharten Betten. Da könnte man mal etwas machen.
