Reviewed Jul 10, 2026The house was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the living room was large and welcoming. The parking facilities were also excellent. We especially appreciated how responsive and kind the host was, always replying to our messages promptly. We had a wonderful stay.
There wasn't anything particularly inconvenient during our stay. However, we did find and catch two cockroaches. Also, the kitchen seemed a little old and could use some updating.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2025The place is awesome and very welcoming, new bathroom facilities make a greater touch to the staying experience especially after the spa. Would definitely recommend for you and visit back again.
There is only one AC unit at the living room but none in any of the bedrooms, would be a bit cold at nights in winter.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2025We loved the location and close to walks on Mt Te Aroha. Because we stayed for a month more equipment in the kitchen would have been handy eg grater, egg beater. Beautiful views
The property needs a heater in the bathroom. Very cold in the Waikato and it would have been very appreciated. Also a light at the front door is a must. Thank god for phones. Brought replacement globe but found something wrong with light/switch because still didn't work. Very dark and unwelcoming.

That we only stayed for one night.
