Nice rooms; mine was a two person room but nobody booked the other, so i got a private room for cheap. Pleasant staff. Good value for money.

La propreté était clairement une priorité ici. Ma chambre était impeccable, les salles de bains étaient nettoyées régulièrement, et même les espaces communs étaient bien entretenus et rangés. Cela rendait tout simplement l’expérience beaucoup plus agréable.

Ova kuća je bila stvarno ugodna i osjećao/la sam se super! Sve je jednostavno, ali baš stylish. Proveo/la sam odlično vrijeme ovdje i sigurno ću se vratiti kad bude prilike!

We had a great stay here Private room was a great size There was no hot water in our private bathroom, but there is in the shared facilities across the hall. Hot and cold water provided from a cooler so reducing plastic waste 💪 Staff friendly, helped with Ijen tour and Bali shuttle. Amazing value for money

The staff were amazing , really friendly, helpful, and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They helped me book the Ijen tour directly from the hostel, which was super smooth and well organized. The guide was great too, very knowledgeable and made the hike feel safe and fun.

The staff is very nice, Bella is a great receptionist! The hostel is very quiet, which makes it a great place to rest, and they organise good tours to explore Java.

I booked a shuttle bus but it arrived 2 hours later than planned, moreover it wasn't a bus but an uncomfortable car full of people. Maybe for transport I would rely on other options.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le personnel, très souriants, serviables et à l’écoute de nos besoins. La climatisation était un plus, fonctionnelle. L’hostel est très joli.

La chambre était froide, pas très chaleureuse. Les toilettes n’étaient pas propre, plusieurs araignées, poussières et de la saleté par terre. Il n’y avait également pas d’eau chaude, nous devions nous doucher dans les douche communes. La chambre dans laquelle nous étions avait une mauvaise insonorisation, nous entendions ceux qui fumait dehors.

저는 브로모 투어 전후로 이 호스텔에 머물렀는데, 두 경험 모두 환상적이었어요. 방은 깨끗하고 에어컨도 잘 되어 있어 쾌적했으며, 직원들은 진심으로 친절하고 도움을 많이 주었어요. 공용 공간은 다른 여행자들과 만나기에 완벽한 장소였습니다. 투어 자체도 잘 조직되어 있었고, 지식이 풍부한 가이드 덕분에 이젠 산의 일출은 잊을 수 없는 경험이 되었어요.

Nous avons logé ici pour faire l’excursion du volcan ijen. Nos hôtes Rama et Bella ont su parfaitement nous accueillir et se sont montrés très serviables et arrangeants. Je recommande cet établissement.

Das Personal hier ist sehr freundlich. Sie haben mich vom ersten Moment bis zu meiner Abreise herzlich willkommen geheißen. Es fühlt sich hier wirklich wie eine Familie an, was mir ein sehr angenehmes Gefühl gegeben hat

L’emplacement et sympathie du personnel

Manque d’hygiène et de propreté. Nous avions déjà séjourné dans cet hostel et tout c’était bien déroulé. Manque de propreté dans les douches et wc de notre chambre privative. Manque copine est ressortie pleine de bouton (peut être punaise de lit ou puce d’animaux). Quelques cafards, fourmis … La propreté n’est pas leur fort. Dommage car notre première expérience c’était plutôt bien déroulé

We hebben hier een hele grote spiegel. Het is een beetje ongemakkelijk, want ik zie mezelf als ik slaap, dus ik heb hen gewoon gevraagd om een stuk stof om het af te dekken. Maar over het algemeen is de kamer prima.

There is mini indoor garden here. Sometimes I read my book there and playing with their three legs cat. She's so cute.

Wir kamen relativ spät abends an und haben gleich noch eine Tour zum Ijen bei der Unterkunft gebucht. Diese beinhaltete einen obligatorischen "Medical Check", die Fahrt zum Vulkan und zurück zur Unterkunft, einen Guide, Gasmasken, Stirnlampen sowie frittierte Bananen zum Frühstück. Beim "Medical Check" werden Blutdruck und Temperatur gemessen, dann soll man noch einen Zettel unterschreiben, auf dem irgendwas auf Bahasa sowie einige Erkrankungen wie Asthma und Diabetes auf Englisch stehen. Lesen soll man den Zettel gar nicht, aber nochmal 30.000 IDR zahlen. Ein wirklicher Checkup sieht anders aus. Die Planung der Tour kann deutlich verbessert werden. Denn nach dem "Medical Check" haben wir über eine Stunde am Fuße des Ijen gewartet bis die Wanderung losging und dort war es kalt. Statt 23.30 Uhr hätten wir also auch einfach eine Stunde später abgeholt werden können. Während der Wanderung haben die Guides dann ein ziemliches Tempo vorgelegt. Statt eine Stunde zu warten und dann hoch zu rennen, hätten wir auch einfach früher mit der Wanderung starten können. Wozu der "Medical Check" nötig ist, hat mir auf der Wanderung auch nicht mehr eingeleuchtet, weil man sich in "Schubkarren" nach oben fahren lassen kann. Der Abstieg in den Kater und zum Blue Fire war geprägt von Menschenmassen, die auf einem ziemlich schmalen und nicht ganz ungefährlichen Weg teilweise gleichzeitig hoch und runter laufen wollten. Außerdem wurde verdammt viel gedrängelt, was sehr unangenehm war. Selbst der Guide hat in einer gefährliche Art und Weise geträngelt. Die Passagen erforderten stellenweise gute Trittsicherheit. Eile und Stress kann Unfälle verursachen. Das sollte dem Guide bewusst sein. Unten beim Blue Fire angekommen musste man sich sehr beeilen, um rechtzeitig zum Sunrise Point zu sein. Viele Gruppeteilnehmer haben es nicht geschafft.

Nice place to start for Ijen, great offers for all the famous spots around for good prices! The staff is super friendly, helping with everything!

The accommodation was okay and the staff was really kind but it was not as clean and well equipped as the overall evaluation might suggest.

Everything was so amazing. Very nice people.

De locatie kon niet beter zijn. Ik kon te voet naar lokale markten, cafés en zelfs een klein wandelpad naar een waterval in de buurt. Het voelde alsof ik overal dichtbij was, maar toch een rustige plek had om naar terug te keren.

De Wi-Fi was soms traag en viel af en toe weg.

Ik reisde alleen, maar voelde me nooit eenzaam. Het personeel was altijd aanwezig voor een praatje, en de andere gasten waren makkelijk om mee in contact te komen — mede dankzij de gemeenschappelijke indeling. Het is een van die zeldzame plekken waar je je onderdeel voelt van iets, zonder dat je er veel moeite voor hoeft te doen.

Dans les climats chauds de la ville, la climatisation est indispensable, et heureusement, cet endroit en était équipé. Les lits étaient confortables, avec des draps propres et des rideaux épais pour plus d’intimité. J’y ai fait quelques-unes des meilleures nuits de mon voyage.

Les douches avaient besoin d'une meilleure pression d'eau.

This hostel keeps it simple: clean beds, good Wi-Fi, friendly staff, and lockers for your things. Nothing fancy, but everything works. Sometimes that’s all you really need. It’s the kind of place you check into for a night and end up staying three or four.

Staff are great. Hostel is lovely, but too open plan so noise and mosquitoes are a problem. Location good. Showers only cold water, and pressure low. Lovely seating areas. Kitchen ok. Basic. Fridge space good. Good working water filter.

The openness of the design of building - no mesh on open windows so get bitten to death by mosquitoes in bed and noise from outside and inside too very audible. !!
