Reviewed Apr 16, 2026Emplacement parfait pour prendre le bateau le lendemain. Chambres privées à petit prix avec TV (2 chaînes anglophone) et clim. Savon et serviette fournis. Plein d'options pour manger aux alentours.
La lumière de SDB ne s'éteint pas. (C'est ok en fermant la porte) Clim bruyante. Les draps sont propres mais a par cela le ménage est un peu superficiel et les murs crados. Pas de contact avec le staff.

Not good value for money! Unless you desperately need a place for one night next to the pier, I don’t recommend this place. No private bathroom (the common bathroom was filthy!) and there were cockroaches in the room!

Reviewed Nov 9, 2025Incredible Homestay. They have certainly made this friendly and simple little place so incredibly likeable. The town of Surigao doesn't make me stay an extra day, but this Homestay did. Maybe because I had been traveling around Leyte for a while. Spotlessly clean, cozy, spacious and comfortable room with a desk, convenient electricity outlets and attached bathroom. All toiletries supplied. Hot and cold water dispenser in the reception. Coffee, cold drinks, snacks and noodles for sale. I really liked the seaview outdoor sitting area and designated smoking area. Excellent WiFi. Hot shower, but you have to switch on the bathroom lights for it to work, even though you might not need any light! Excellent location right by the entrance to the pier. Jeepneys to the bus terminal leaves right outside the door. This place really is a bit of a hidden gem, as you won't just stumble across it when looking for a place to stay, as there are no signs outside.
The location on Booking.com is wrong. It's located 1 min further down the road in the former SLB Pensionne building. Wish they could make a tab for what you buy, as they never have change!

Reviewed Jun 25, 2025It was very affordable, It’s very clean, and it’s just right in-front of the Ferry terminal, the Surigao Port which our destination was. The beds were clean and comfortable, they have wifi, the only downside is that you have to climb up their fairly steep high stairs, because the rooms are located at the second floor. And the only available coffee is mixed like 3 in 1 coffee. I never had that much very unhealthy coffee for maybe 2 decades. Black stick coffee is good. They don’t offer breakfast but there are plenty of cafes not too far away and also in the main passenger terminal building! Literally across the road from the PTB. Great value for money and highly recommended!

Reviewed Jun 17, 2025The Location is near the seaside, with excellent amenities, and a very accommodating staff. They also offer free parking for guests with vehicles, and most importantly, the place is pet-friendly.
If you have an elderly person staying with you, make sure they can still climb stairs, because the rooms are on the 2nd level of the building.
