Everything about the place. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Their service was excellent!
Nothing
How remote it was
There was no comfortable seating outside our room
I liked everything about the property. The one thing that stood out for me was that it is isolated so we do have that privacy.
Honestly, nothing.
From the location, the privacy, the quality of their accommodation and roads within the accommodation. Very considerate. Reception was amazing, the people who welcomed us from the gate all the way to leading us to our Pod, they are all just sooo homely and make the place feel like home.
Nothing.. it was very private i loved everything about it
The property was amazing 🔥🔥
It brings peace of mind🧘♂️
It was so clean and friendly staff.delicious food, easy roads to the villas
Nothing at all just a peaceful environment.
Very clean and the ecstatics are very nice. Wonderful views
The treatment. The establishment needs to remember that the front staff sets the tone for the whole trip. Our bedding was scrutinised on check out like where at a military camp. The lady had a touch on looking for stains so that we can pay for the bedding. It left a really sour taste in my mouth .eventually we we told that we left a hair gel on the pillow case and needed to pay R250 for it. When we asked for the pillow case before paying we were told that the stain was removed.
Literally everything!
Couldn't get the shower to balance, the water was either hot or cold.
The place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I loved the privacy of the three bush/luxury suites, with access to their own restaurant, private pool, and relaxing spaces. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, and the mountain views and surrounding scenery are simply stunning. A special mention to Salome, and Chef Cynthia, who were both amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and always available whenever you needed something. Their service really stood out.
I do feel there is room for improvement when it comes to the food and dining experience. The luxury/bush suites come with full/ half-board option, but you don't really know what you will be eating unless you ask the chef. Even then, there is only one option available. For example, if rice and chicken is what they have decided for dinner, that's the only option. I found this quite disappointing, especially compared to other game farms where guests are usually given two or three meal options to choose from a day in advance, allowing the kitchen to prepare accordingly. Unfortunately, being stuck with only one meal option wasn't ideal for me. One evening's dessert was a banana spread with Nutella, marshmallows and chocolate sauce, which I personally didn't enjoy and didn't eat. Dinner that evening consisted of braai broodjie (toasted cheese, tomato and onion sandwich), pumpkin fritters and meat, hmmm.. The breakfast options were also quite limited, with no cereal option and a menu that felt almost the same every day. I had specifically asked about the food approximately three weeks before my arrival and was advised that there would be plenty of food and a variety of options. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. the food selection didn't meet my expectations, especially considering the price. Based on the dining experience, I would personally recommend choosing the self-catering option instead.
Absolutely everything, from the warm welcome to the exceptional service, was amazing. Everyone on the property was absolutely lovely, and being able to spot the majority of the animals during the game drive was such a highlight. The quad-biking was also a standout experience for me.
Not much on this part to be fair…
very peaceful place we enjoyed the stay Game drive and picnic was excellent would love to come back again.

Happy with everything inside the shack was clean & elegant…was happy with their service
I like the fact they service providers the were friendly n welcoming everything was super fine
Property was definitely value for money. The staff is top tier and they make you feel at home. The activities (Quad biking, picnic and game drive) where just amazing and administered so professionally. I would definitely recommend this place to close friends and family.
I liked everything about the place oddly so :)
Everything
Everything, this place looks exactly like the pictures. It’s super stunning. The staff is amazing. We loved it . The purpose was to rest and we got exactly that.
Nothing.
The beautiful thing I absolutely loved about Thaba entle is the beauty of the surrounding, and the fact that I was there the whole weekend and never even felt the need to live the property that is a major flex... The place is so serene so peaceful..
My experience was positive e few hiccup there and there but it does not take way from the wonderful experience
The cleanliness and the views.
The hot tub was a bit cold at the bottom and warm and at the top
It’s clean and exactly how I saw it on the pictures..loved everything about it..
Nothing
The only thing to rave about at this Game Farm is the restaurant staff & food! Though their breakfast menu has no variety, but the Ciabatta bread is to die for. Not to mention their steak and kudu wors. The food was so good, we even took take aways when we checked out.
False advertising and marketing - The Game Farm leads with marketing their Mountain Pods rooms which are located at the very top of the mountain however when you get to the farm, they offer a Villa room which is not even worth half the money paid. I was so disappointed since it was my wife's Birthday and when we made our reservations, Booking.com did not even have an option for a "Villa room". When we probed this mismatch with the receptionist, she mentioned that its not their fault but Booking.com. She even went further that they even have a variety on the farm such as The Shack, The Bush Suites, Wood Deck and the Mountain Pods which we thought we had booked. To our shock we discovered the only have two Mountain Pods but yet their advertising and marketing only feature Mountain Pods (nothing about the "Villa Room" and other accommodation choices they have. What was even more disappointing, the Game farm is known as Thaba eNtle which loosely translates into beautiful mountain, you would expect that they have hiking trails around the mountain, but their hiking trails proved to be a damp squib since you just walk around the farm with no interesting scenery. Overall this farm offers nothing except good food but disappointingly baits people by advertising rooms that you will never get since the receptionist told us their two Mountain pods are popular and never available! Their Villa Rooms are not worth the money they charge and needs some paint (see picture). You would even expect to get two small bottle water in the room and tea bags but no, you only get a coffee machine. The same rooms when you switch on the aircon, the main switch trips the electricity of the whole lodge and then the receptionists acts as if its the new problem they know nothing about.
The activities, the friendly staff.
The time they close the gates
Beautiful area. Friendly staff.
The food isn’t great. Hot water issues. Wind melting making tress hitting the cabin, making windy nights unpleasant due to the loud noises.
Ooh the service is amazing. The staff is friendly and communicate on time very well. The breakfast at the restaurant is also very nice. The views and the Pods are to die for.
The waiters and staff were friendly and helpful.
The management attitude was very bad and heartless.if you know that there is a high possibility that you might arrive there late.dont bother to book there ,they will lock you outside the gate.you have to sleep at the garage or shaddy guest houses until the next day.and be careful when you booking for safari rides, they will cancel or move times and not want to pay you.The refreshment bar is struggling, there is no variety. .bring you own drinks to be safe.if you go outside please constantly check the time to avoid been locked out.my sister and I we had to sleep at the garage in a town we dont know,we called the place before arrival,to let them know of what time will be arriving.we were still locked outside.
I loved everything about our stay, the food was amazing. The staff was great. A variety of activities to choose from. It's a beautiful place, and value for money.
Location, nature, Beautiful views. It is really a peaceful place and the staff provide exceptional services. Loved the outdoor hot tub, it was big enough and the fridge surprisingly was a good size. Braai facility 👌
The bed felt a bit small, pillows were too thick , it will help to have a thinner option. There is loud noise from the pipes every time you flush. Check out is too early, you don’t get to enjoy breakfast, at least it should be 11am. The delivery/ pickup service is very pricey, it takes away from the convenience.
I liked the privacy
I didn't like the food at the restaurant.
The accommodation was very nice
Nothing,
Very supportive and caring staff. The staff was continously in contact on hearing we had a tyre puncture on our way that lead to our delayed ETA until our problem was entirely resolved the following day. The lady at the restaurant, the rangers, housekeeping and every employee there, were the best👌👌. Keep up the A game.
Nothing
That place is so amazing I liked everything about it will definitely visit again
Nothing I just wish they could add spa and pods that accommodates more than one couple that will be fantastic
The views and privacy.
The mini fridge’s freezer is slow
The entire trip went from bad to worse FAST! Checked in, reviews were so positive about the stargazing dinner so that was our activity at 19:00, it was rushed! Because while we were having dessert our ride was already there. The bed? Hard and squeaky - we ended up removing the base, using the mattress and sleeping on the floor. Breakfast included with our booking; there were no substitutions allowed! No coffee! No toast for one of the options! And the juice was in a box - at a Boutique hotel? No way! While we got over that, we got the 13:00 spot for a picnic, on 32 degrees weather, they didn’t even have a tent so we could have a bit of shade and the food? Dry and lazy for the price we paid. We later did a game-drive, not the staff member telling me that my partner and I need to be separated because the group of 6 needs to stay together! Oh and there was no water on Sunday! Worst experience ever!
Everything about the place except the receptionist
The receptionist. Not friendly
I love the location more than anything, the Pond was perfectly put on the mountain, seeing the view, not hearing any love sounds,so clean and the staff was just amazing. It was just perfect
Their service is very good.
The picnic setup was beautiful.
The lodge do provide the showering gels and conditioner but they selling a shower cap!! I just felt it needed to be issued as part of what's in the bathrooms already.
The house is clean and everything is there
There is no microwave
1. Location. 2. Room aircon. 3. Activities.
1. The hot bath wasn’t user friendly. 2. Extra charges for basic hospitality. 3. Resort service.
Everything was on point
