ZANA Luxury Forest Resort, Ranthambore

We had an amazing stay here at Zana. The staff here made our stay so very special ❤️ the cleanliness of our room was absolutely spotless with attention to every single detail. The staff here are helpful kind and incredibly professional. We had an early morning departure and they even went to great efforts to make up our breakfast box to take away for the journey! Thank you zana we had the BEST time!!!

Rooms and landscape

Food was very average We do tip staff as regular practice but housekeeping staff was behaving desperate for tips while we were preparing check out

This property was beautiful and very well kept. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and kind.

The restaurant had a full menu but most of the dishes were not available. It would be better to serve a limited but accurate menu.

The beauty of the room and the surrounding area

The staff was very slow. I had to call them multiple times to get anything. Even our check out got delayed.

Gardens

Kids play area (main reason we chose this place) was broken, completely unsafe, and had no air con in the middle of a 45degree plus Indian summer. Rooms also not cleaned properly , main building hot and either not finished or broken already. Lacked basic food and drink. And to make it worse the manager thought all this was ok.

The location was a bit far from the forest but it is quiet and peaceful- snugged away in green all around it is a great place for a gate away

The hotel is highly recommended. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly, always checking to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. The pool is especially wonderful around 11:30 a.m., offering a perfect place to relax and cool off from the heat outside.

Resort molto carino, curato e pulito nel centro di Rathambore. Le aree sono grandi e accoglienti immerse bel verde. Lo staff è sempre disponibile a realizzare le tue richieste , in particolare Rainder , che è stato davvero gentilissimo. Siamo stati al Holi Festival e tornati abbiamo richiesto il servizio lavanderia per i nostri zaini e vestiti e ci è stato subito realizzato. Abbiamo chiesto anche per Safari e ci hanno organizzato tutto loro. Cibo squisito, camere larghe spaziose pulite! Ottimo tutto !

Property is relatively new but feels worn out/damaged in few areas. Staff sometimes felt stretched to address requests. They were always available but may be communication within staff can be imporved.

Rooms were good

1.there was fungus black coloured on the buns..it was not acceptable at all. Don't know how many would have gotten sick due to this. 2.a little bit pricey 3.whole property was empty except 3 or 4 villas and the staff who accompanied the guests started making money from us by charging high prices for safari and all..

The Rooms were excellent, the staff was very helpful and polite, the location was serene and quiet and easily reachable, the food was good but very expensive (even by delhi standards). But overall a pleasant stay.

The high cost of food at the in-house restaurant was the only issue. Also, although the staff was very polite and helpful, you had to call to every service. For eg., clearing the plates from the room after lunch or tea etc., required calling the reception or restaurant, otherwise the plates would just lie in the room till you called the staff. (not such a major issue, but being a luxury resort, you expect certain services) otherwise a very pleasant and relaxing stay; would definitely revisit.

Great hospitality

We recently spent two wonderful days and one night at Zana Resort, Ranthambore, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything—from the warm welcome to the personalized service—was exceptional. I had requested a special decoration for my wife, and the team went above and beyond to make it perfect. The beautiful setup in our cottage, “George”, was romantic, elegant, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. A big thank you to Amol, the Area Manager, who ensured every detail of our stay was flawless and personally looked after us throughout. Anushka at the front office greeted us with genuine warmth and explained all the facilities so well, making us feel instantly at home. Sambodh, the Restaurant Manager, deserves special appreciation for his attentiveness and for taking care of all our dietary needs with such professionalism—every meal, especially breakfast, was simply brilliant. Lastly, the housekeeping team, led by Sambodh from housekeeping, was extremely polite and ensured our cottage remained spotless and comfortable throughout. The resort itself is stunning—peaceful surroundings, beautiful interiors, and top-notch facilities that truly allow you to relax and unwind. Overall, Zana Resort exceeded all our expectations. It’s not just the luxury that stands out, but the warmth and hospitality of the staff that make it truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and personalized getaway in Ranthambore!

The property people is not good and supportive they are just giving excuses. There is a snake and no one giving attention in the terms of Hospitality they are minus- i have been to many hotels but this kind of a hospitality is such a nightmare for me.

Courteous and prompt behavior of staff.

The resort food was of below average quality. The repeated reuse of same cooking oil and excessive cream,oil and spices spoilt the quality of food. Despite Booking.com assuring us that stay for driver would not be charged, the resort charged us Rs 1250 daily for a horrific dormitory room where the driver slept on floor with no effective cooling provision.The food served to driver was miserable so he stopped eating at resort. Surprisingly despite this the resort insisted on charging 1250 daily. Customer's word was never trusted

Resort is very beautiful and exceed our expectations. All the staff members starting from front desk expert, Hanish, room service Rahul, Neeraj, Dining staffs are very supportive and helpful. Very prompt on delivering the request. Family enjoyed the stay very much. Highly recommended

Service and facilities not upto the 5 star standard. Nobody on entrance, honked to get the gates opened. Breakfast and dinner buffet subpar even by 4 star standards. Lack of bar added to the agony.

The property was very clean and had all the facilities that we needed. I cannot rave about the service and staff enough. They were extremely helpful in sorting out our very last minute safari trips for our group of three the night before the Safari. They were very reassuring and responsive to my questions and concerns and did everything they could to make sure our trip was enjoyable.

There was very loud music playing on the speakers from somewhere in the neighbourhood during the evening - I believe it was for a wedding or some kind of event. I understand the staff couldn’t do anything about it so we tolerated it until it was turned off at night.

The staff was very courteous and made sure they were always helping us with a smile. Our room was very clean. We had a great time staying at Zana.

While, north indian cuisine tasted nice. The asian cuisine can be improved in the dinner buffet spread.

The location of the property is within a residential area inside a city soo didnt have that resort feel.Secondly , the food menu was very expensive which doesnt justify the price tag.Even boiled eggs were rated at 700rs which is ridiculous. No arrangement of buffet lunch or dinner was there. After being to soo many good resorts, this was the only one which didnt have any recreational activities inside the resort and the play area for kids was chargeable which again i havent seen in any of the resorts uptill now.

We were visiting from the US and with extended family. The property is very nice for that as there were lots of spaces to gather. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. The lobby and restaurant are a little sparse. They have a kids room with an air hockey table and bowling. The food was excellent- they had a different menu everyday and very accommodating to all requests

Glasses for water , napkins etc should be placed on the tables well before the guests come in for their meals

i like the quietness of the property . All though it is surrounded by city houses , however inside the resort its is quite. Well maintained. Staff's are excellent and friendly in nature . Good Garden /Green envelop inside the Resort. Good view from the room for the garden.

No Mirror in the room , Only Mirror available in Washroom . Accesses to Garden from wash room was not available . No night Lamp at room. Surrounding houses are very nearby to the property.

We paid 50k for 2nts, absolutely not worth the price, cleanliness was below par, the floors in the room and in the restaurant were sticky, only 2 bath towels were provided, no face cloths or napkins or tissue rolls, we had to ask for it which is ridiculous for the amount of money paid! Service was very slow in the restaurant, food was extremely oily!

The food quality was disappointing. We ordered à la carte, but it wasn’t up to the mark and quite expensive as well.

Very open, and beautiful .

Though the staff was extremely good, English was not their strength and we could not always communicate properly. A bit more training would help. As Ranthanbore is a tiger reserve, there were no pictures or anything related to tigers in the property. Perhaps they could do well to hire the services of a naturalist and give more details about Theforest. A few videos would help kindle the interest of guests.

Hotel was a lovely tranquil break, with amazing rooms and great service, particularly Aditye who even picked us up from the station.

The rooms are really spacious, the terrace is nice with a fan. There Electric small cars for kids to play with for no extra charge. Everything also felt very safe for our toddler. Food is very good!

We used the kids chair 2 days in a room and the pasta from the day before was still in it. There we're a lot of cigarette buds at the pool, maybe pur some ashtrays for smokers Personal was very friendly, only problem was a guy who just walked in the room. Felt weird. Also, knocking on the door for a tip felt out of place, like it more when there is a tip box, les disturbance 😀

Would definitely stay here again! The staff were incredibly friendly and were eager to help out anywhere they could. The room seemed brand new and just like the picture on the website (I’ve attached my own too). The beds were very big and comfortable. With dinner we had live music just for us and the food was delicious. Same goes for breakfast where we had everything made fresh. There is also a large game room that has a bowling alley, air hockey, a soft play area and more under the main building. There is also a pool, but due to the thunderstorm whilst we were there we’d were unable to try it out. The hotel is dog friendly too as I saw someone walking their husky.

Room size is good. Property is well maintained and clean

Food is really overpriced. We went for lunch to Taj ranthambore and the prices between taj and zana were same.

Food- extremely bad Breakfast spread was a huge disappointment, even after repeated requests the tea was horrible and the cost cutting off the resort was quite literally visible in the breakfast variety . Forget variety the food available was also so bad and not at all tasteful . Better go for a 5 stars - they have asked a price similar to 5 star but they are not even close . Staff untrained - half the staff didn’t know anything about their own property , telephone in room not working ( even after fixing - wasn’t working ) .

The spread and architecture

The jacuzzi was not clean the pool was not clean had mosquitoes and flies all around the garden and outside sitting of room were not clean had algae and stain marks all over

The service was pretty slow. The room cleaning was done at 4 pm the next day and multiple calls were required to get anything done.

Spacious and good concept

Consuming the food at the property led to food poisoning and vommiting. Jacuzzi was not working.

Food and especially the staff is welcoming, courteous and warm. The resort is well spread with lots of open area and a dedicated kids zone for the kids to spend their time constructively.

The high tea served in the evening should be improved with more food options and better choices to choose from!

Very nice property .they are trying to create a upmarket type of environment.however my advice is to keep it basic and good.prices need to be revised.i was lucky to get off season price though.f&b needs some uplift,creativity is lacking .food was good though. Washroom amenities were good (different,try their tablet toothpaste 😋).

More variety and creativity required for food.more options of local cuisine to be included.

Images posted are deceptive. This is just good photography. The pool beds are not the same as shown here. There were chairs etc that we saw in the garden as shown in pics. We were told there is cycling but when we asked for cycles, we were told they have one adult and one kids cycle. Not even 2 adult cycles. Breakfast menu was same on both the days. Infact food is just average. There was no live counter which one can understand but there was no mention of what we could order from kitchen's live counter for breakfast. We asked for Watermelon juice and it was from rotten water melon and we had to pay full price for it. Food service was extremely slow. There was no spa... Basically it was below average and not value for money.
