The location was good

I was very disappointed with this property. The apartment was not clean when we arrived. We even found a glass with leftover coffee inside the cupboard, which was really unacceptable. There were no hand towels or kitchen towels available to dry our hands. When we arrived, it turned out that the owner had forgotten to inform the cleaning staff about our arrival. As a result, we had to wait 2 hours outside in 35°C heat before we could enter the property, which was extremely frustrating. The air conditioning was also not working. After calling the owner/manager, he told us he would come and fix it, but he never showed up. In addition, the shower in the second bedroom was clogged and the water would not drain properly. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and did not meet our expectations at all.

Good location, quiet area, and the apartment was clean and cosy. I enjoyed staying there couple of days. Fair price for what you get considering you are in Gouna.

Net appartement, voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Erg ruim met twee badkamers/wc's. Mooi balkon met uitzicht op het zwembad. Appartement was erg schoon en het is altijd fijn als er al wc papier aanwezig is, kleine moeite, groot plezier.

Niks. Ik heb hier meerdere keren verbleven en dat was omdat het gewoon goed beviel. Zou niet weten wat hier verbetert zou kunnen worden.

Clean, location , the host was very helpful

The balcony is great, located near main attractions, the place is flamboyantly furnished. Owner is non-intrusive and helpful, check-in and out was easy. Kitchen is sufficiently equipped.

I'm not at all complaining since for this price it's a bargain, but it comes with compromises noticed by avid travellers. Don't expect a five-star amenities, the equipment is working but pretty old, only towels are provided, mattresses and pillows are not the most comfortable, boiler is old and a bit rusty, refrigerator not cold enough. Bring your own hand soap and shampoos (which should be obvious as this is not a hotel room). No elevator so might be difficult for old people. Not directly overlooking any of the beaches or water fronts so don't expect a great view.

The Apt is super clean. Welll decorated with posters of old Egyptian movies which is super fun. Jilly was very attentive to our request especially when we had a problem with AC in the master bedroom. Location is very near to downtown, Abu tig marina & other attractions.

Everything was perfect! The apartment was extremely clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The pool was beautiful and very well maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The area felt safe and peaceful. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. Most importantly, Jill was one of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve ever met she made everything smooth and made us feel truly welcome.

Great location. Nice spacious apartment with comfortable beds and a great terrace. Lovely to have access to a pool on site.

Lots of the light bulbs weren't working so it was quite dark inside at night and the apartment could do with a bit of tlc. When we arrived the pool was dirty but the dirt few days we noticed someone was working on it (saw hoses appearing a disappearing) but by the third day it had been cleaned. It might just have been a problem which was sorted fairly quickly.

The place was clean and had a nice location.

The pool was empty during the entire stay and the host didn’t inform us in advance, even though she told us that “everything is clarified on Booking” whenever we had a question. Turns out that the fact that the pool isn’t operating was not clarified on Booking. Host didn’t have the nicest attitude and wasn’t helpful.

The location was good. She let us check in early even we had miscommunication before checking in. The apartment very nice, big and high security. Ot is good value for money.

It was not very clean, I had to clean the shower by myself because the drains were clogged up. The pillows were not very comfortable and we found some hair on the sheets and pillows. Also there was no soap in the bathroom. She asked us to wash the dishes which is okay however there were no dishwashing liquid, so we had to wash it only with water. If everyone does the same I am not sure about the cleanliness of the dishes.

Jill the owner was VERY RUDE, Al gouna is close resort every time when I book a trip the gate ask us to get permission she is always SCREAMING in my face I’m very busy I can’t do that, every single time I text her she reply in a very RUDE way as if I’m begging her !!! I regret booking her apartment because of her DRAMA!!! If she can’t handle renting apartment in el gouna can’t follow up their permission system WHY she rent it ?!!! Renting with her was VERY BAD EXPERIENCE will not repeat it again, I think she has personal issues which make her SUPER AGGRESSIVE with her customers, plus the TV not work and AC in salon not work too the WiFi was very slow

Clean and not far from the main beaches like Zouni, mangrovie and smokery. The owner is very responsive for emergencies.

The second room was not well serviced and I wish it was. The master-bed was really uncomfortable.

The decor is very different and original. The pool was lovely especially being able to swim at night .

It is very close to a major road and the bedrooms overlook it . The traffic can be quite loud at times.

Lovely vibrant spacious apartment & loved the sitting in the sun on the balcony in the mornings. Also was only a 2 minute walk to beautiful lagoon

The administrator didn't answer my calls and messages. I couldn't pass the security checkpoint at the entry of El Gouna. I had to book another hotel for first night. The administrator was rude in this situation. An the administrator didn't receive me money for first night. I paid extra 100 usd at another hotel. It was very noisy there from the big road. Soundproofing is very bad. I couldn't sleep.

The host was extremely polite and sweet. Everything was on point.

Very spacious rooms with effective aircon available in both bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area. Decent cooking facilities with good range of pots and pans although not keen on plastic mugs. Being on the top floor we had sun on our balcony from dawn til dusk and a comfy sofa and deckchairs which was fantastic. Showers were great with hot water always available although bizarrely not in the kitchen. Location is fine with only a 10 minute walk to the shops/marina but plenty of taxis and tuktuks around if you dont fancy the walk.

Bedrooms facing the main road so can be noisy at busy times but it didnt keep us awake! Pool is not heated so in January its a but too cold to use but that's reflected in the price. Couldnt get the TV to work for us, would have used our Netflix account but either software on TV or Network apps needs updating. Still, had our laptops if necessary and the wifi was super.

Everything was perfect. Great location, nice cheerful design & had everything I needed. Jill was super helpful & made sure I enjoyed my stay. Had no trouble sleeping but if you’re a light sleeper you might need some earplugs as the bedroom window is looking over the street.

The location was really good for us! The appartement was clean and spacious, it had all we needed. We felt at home quickly.

Note that the host is still following the Covid’s safety recommendations, so there weren’t any soaps or toilet paper when we arrived. The following point is not entirely under the control of the host, but I found that the sun beds around the pool were not inviting… they were put in random places and not that easy to move around. It just gave the an overall feeling of untidiness.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at "South Marina Apartment", and it was an unforgettable experience it was nothing but spectacular. From the moment I arrived, the owner went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. The units’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze, and I can’t wait to return to "South Marina Apartment" on my next visit. Highly recommended!

The apartment was very clean and tidy, just as pictures, all facilities were in good shape and working well. Jill was so helpful and welcoming. The stay was so comfy and beyond expectations. So close to the Marina and also the downtown center.

well this will be always my favorite stay in El Gouna, Jilly is a wonderful host, she is really taking care of every single detail. Oh and mentioning the details, the apartment is full of beautiful details. the compound is safe, clean and near to everything, just 12 min walk to downtown. also the apartment is having two full restrooms, with a walk-in showers. the smell is so nice inside the apartment and the balcony is a plus. we really enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward for our next visit. thanks Jilly

it wasn’t clean, we have reserved for two bedrooms apartment; we were surprised that one of the rooms was closed and we had no access for the keys, in order to open the room for us we have to pay an additional USD 40 and this wasn’t mentioned before. She has a terrible attitude, and since we left she kept on asking for money although we sent her EGP 800 and she asked for more and kept manipulating us in a horrible way. I don’t recommend anyone to deal with her.
