Location was good.

Kitchen was not clean. The sink was dirty all the time. Once we reach to the location the code was not working and we couldn’t reach the host as he didn’t pick up the call. Another guest helped us to got in. Though the host got back after couple of hours.

Good location and the breakfast was amazing. There were eggs and bacon which I was expecting.

The front door didn't work for me or some of the other guests.

The room was perfect and clean. Decent sized and comfortable.

The keypads on the front door and my bedroom door locked me out. I couldn't access my room for 2 hours before they came to fix it. Once they changed the password everything was fine.

Close to the bus stop, the price is fair, free breakfast.

The room was not ready by late afternoon and it was cleaned in a rush, also the wall is thin and you can hear everything in the house.

The host, Alfonso, was really accommodating. I booked a couple of nights in two different rooms but didn't realize that my two nights would be in separate locations. That was quickly remedied when I got there the first night, which was extremely helpful. Highlights: Self-serve breakfast: Big plus -- the fridge and pantry are stocked with breakfast items (eggs, bacon, cheese slices, bread, tomatoes, milk, avocadoes, some fruit, lots of spices, misc. other staples) that you can help yourself to, which was amazing. Pretty generous to this effect. Self-checkin/locks: Each room is accessible by a unique private code, so you can lock your things in easily. Checkin/checkout process is pretty smooth. Host sends checkin info to you with clear instructions. Room: Decently spacious, enough table, drawer & closet space to unpack your things, if you feel like doing so Location: Near a body of water, which is nice to walk or jog by. Easy to find parking if you have a car. Peaceful, quiet area.

There's only two bathrooms for the house, so depending on how many other guests are staying at the same time, this can create a bit of a logjam if you want to take a shower. I wasn't a big fan of the mattress on the bed. Felt like I was sleeping on a foam mattress that sank with my body weight, so much so that it felt like I was on a decline or something when I slept. Would've helped if it had a bit firmer support.

The room and bed were great.

We had a bad experience in the property because another guest. The house was big, with many rooms (5 or 6 rooms), and no supervisor. The fridge could be cleaned more often. The host should be there to give us more support or information. Change the batteries in the room locks.

La salle de bain partagée est extrêmement sale. Les deux portes extérieures étaient débarrées à notre arrivée, ce qui permet à n'importe qui de s'introduire dans le logement de 6 chambres, elles aussi toutes ouvertes. Le ménage ne semble pas avoir été fait depuis une éternité. Nous avons voulu annuler car c'est extrêmement sale et le propriétaire a répondu que nous devrions aller ailleurs dans un logement plus dispendieux. Ce à quoi nous répondons que la propreté n'est pas un luxe mais devrait être une exigence de la part de Booking pour s'associer à un tel hébergement.

The breakfast items - selection provided were good... lots of choice... fresh fruit, eggs and a variety of bread etc... coffee and tea selection was good.

bathroom in the basement in particular the shower - very very narrow and small... very old compared to the bathroom upstairs which was nicer and cleaner... I would prefer having some newer pots-pans (very very old - lots of deep scratches) but serves the need the nonetheless. Property owner very quick in replying to messages.

Location and Nice building

Dirty dishes on the sink, left over food on the fridge, clothes on the washing machine. Looked like somebody was living there

House was located in a quiet neighbourhood across from a lake with walking trails. The house was only about 8 minutes drive to downtown Moncton, which made it easy to get to events, shops, etc. Lots of free street parking available. We felt safe in the neighbourhood. The price was the cheapest rate in Moncton by far (there was a big concert that weekend).

-Our host messaged us at 10am on our arrival day to say he had 'overbooked' and tried to get us to cancel our booking. We were already on our way to Moncton, and didn't get confirmation until 3:59pm that we still had our booking and could check in at 4pm. This caused a lot of stress on our vacation. -On the Saturday night, there was a large group of middle-aged men partying until 2 or 3 in the morning. We woke up to find beer bottles all over the kitchen and two partially-clothed men sleeping on the couches in the living room. -The house is 6 rooms with no host on site. The keyless entry didn't work half the time, and there is no way to easily contact the host for help. -5 of 6 rooms checked out after our first night, but the bathrooms did not appear to be cleaned after large check-out days. -The downstairs shower was tiny - impossible to use without the shower curtain touching you. Highly recommend wearing sandals in the bathroom. -Our room (Room 6) was a converted garage. There was no air flow and the window was sealed shut. At least a fan was provided. There is an air conditioner for the whole floor but it is in another guest room so it does not reach the rest of the floor. It was very hot (30C) that weekend and the upstairs rooms were even hotter than downstairs. -The door to our room was semi-frosted glass so anyone could see through, unless you close the secondary door which is a massive steel sliding door that is awkward to move and loud. It truly felt like we were sleeping in a garage. Ours was definitely the worst room, all other rooms appeared to be normal bedrooms. -The kitchen was well-equipped with supplies and breakfast foods, but there wasn't much room in the fridge and the kitchen didn't seem very clean. Cracks in the countertop were repaired with duct tape.

Airconditioning does not reach the bedrooms and can only be felt in the common area. We felt the property owner kicked us out when we complained instead of working on our complain.

Am ersten Tag kam ich in mein Zimmer, der Boden, vor allem unter dem Bett, war sehr dreckig. In der Beschreibung stand, dass es eine Klimaanlage gibt, die gab es nicht. Ich konnte mein Fenster nicht öffnen und mein Türschloss war kaputt. Außerdem hatte ich nicht wie vereinbart meine Türcodes an dem Tag zugeschickt bekommen, sondern musste selber noch hin- und hertelefonieren, um überhaupt reinzukommen. Am zweiten Tag kam der Vermieter und wollte mein Schloss austauschen, es sah so aus als hätte er das noch nie gemacht. Dann hat er sich auf den Boden gelegt und meinte, das Bett sei auch kaputt, ich müsste bitte in ein anderes Zimmer. Dort ging wenigstens Fenster und Türschloss, Klimaanlage gab's auch da nicht. Frühstück wurde "gestellt", beläuft sich aber auf Bananen, Äpfel, Brot und Erdnussbutter. Die ganze Unterkunft war sehr hellhörig und man wurde regelmäßig von anderen Gästen morgens geweckt oder abends wachgehalten. Das Schloss des geteilten Badezimmers war auch nicht ganz zuverlässig, es hat ein Gast die Tür öffnen können, während ich auf Toilette war, obwohl ich abgeschlossen hatte. Sie meinte, dass ihr das auch schon in der Unterkunft passiert sei.

The location was great and made it easy to get around. I also liked the terrace, which was a nice place to relax.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was very disappointing. There was dirt in several areas, the kitchen was especially dirty and unpleasant to use, and the floor and chair in my room were not clean either. The bathroom was okay. The walls are also very thin, so it was quite noisy and I could hear other guests easily.

The living room offers a nice space, but if the six double bedrooms are occupied then the tiny house is extremely crowded and loud. Check-in and check-out time are very convenient. It’s a nice and quiet neighbourhood!

The facilities are pretty old and needed to be cleaned. Especially the kitchen where there were no dishes at all until we found it in the dishwasher which was totally dirty who knows for how long. The bathroom was very dirty! If you clean everything by yourself then it’s fine.

It was ok. I would have preferred to know other people were staying at the house at the same time as our family.

We liked the location, in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the city center.

The lock to open the house did not work well. The dining table and counters were full of crumbs upon our arrival, with dirty dishes on the counter. There is a shaggy rug in the living room that was full of chip crumbs and other foods. There were hairs on the bathroom counter and sink and on the floor. Both the toilets had issues and leaked. The host told me he would send me a partial refund for the inconvenience but it’s been 3 days and I haven’t received anything. The host was making efforts to fix the toilets though.

Pas reçu d'instructions d'arrivée, propriétaire dur à rejoindre. Aires communes pas propre mais lits OK. Deuxième salle de bain non fonctionnelle car il y avait eu un dégâts d'eau et nous devions fermer l'eau de l'autre toilette lorsque non utilisée car fuite d'eau.

This was the worst property i ever stayed. 1. Very dirty kitchen, rusty and dusty pans stuck in stove, accumulated stains in the microwave. 2. Found strangers' hair on sheet. stain and curly carpet, squeaky and shaky bed, etc. 3. The next morning we found toilet was severely leaking, making basement soaked with toilet water, rendering all two toilets completely unusable, and the whole house in danger of electricity leakage(we could not even open the lights). This made basic hygiene impossible and significantly compromised our ability to stay in the accommodation as advertised. the host refused to pickup the phone then we had to contact Booking.com to cancel the rest 2 nights. 4. Dramatically: the host called in later, instead of felling sorry for all the inconveniences, he urged us to go back in the property even if he knows it is not safe. I refused his strange proposal and then he abruptly ended the call after aggressive words to a specific racial group. 5. Photo tells everything, could not post all as some may cause discomfort.

Bathroom was dirty, there was no hand soap or toilet paper in the bathroom and towels were not provided even though they told us there would be. We asked for toilet paper and they never answered, shared kitchen was dirty as-well. It was cheap but just wished it was clean and had toilet paper.

The bathrooms were unclean. Towels on the floor. Floors not vacuumed in common areas and carpets not clean in bathroom. Sink was dirty. Fridge was dirty. Old food in fridge and not enough eggs

Nothing good to say. The place was stinky and dirty. Not worth the money at all.

Stinky, dirty, overbooked (someone was sleeping on the couch in the living room), all rooms have the same code so I accidentally opened someone else's room with them sleeping, and the host was unavailable on the phone to fix our issues as of 10pm, which resulted in us being stranded without access to our bed for the night and having to find a last minute hotel.

Ho iniziato a inviare messaggi all’host giorni prima senza ricevere risposta, a quel punto ho comunicato di nuovo l’orario del mio arrivo il giorno prima del check in, risultato? La casa era vuota! Fortuna dentro c’erano due ospiti che provano a chiamare l’host, visto che non avevo internet e chiamate, ma nessuna risposta e quindi gli si lascia un messaggio in segreteria; nel frattempo sto quasi un’ora sotto il sole cocente, fuori la porta. Per pietà l’altro ospite esce di nuovo a scambiare due chiacchiere e tenta di nuovo la chiamata, questa volta risponde e mi dice che posso entrate nella living room per attendere il check in 2 ore dopo, lui sarebbe arrivato entro 10 minuti. L’host arriva 30 minuti dopo circa e carinamente mi fa preparare la camera poco prima del check in, anche se le pulizie fatte erano veramente discutibili, quasi nulle…è stato praticamente solo pulito il pavimento con l’aspirapolvere e cambiati gli asciugamani, anche la cucina non è per niente pulita. La mia camera aveva la tendina della finestra rotta e quindi la luce filtrava giá dal mattino presto. Purtroppo l’assenza quasi totale dell’host portava al fatto che gli ospiti delle altre camere facevano un casino assurdo dalla mattina alla sera, senza alcun rispetto. Ultima cosa, inserire il codice della porta della camera è stata un’impresa ogni giorno che tornavo.

Lorsque j’ai demandé un remboursement, il m’a envoyé un courriel comme quoi booking à envoyer une demande de remboursement, mais n’ont pas eu de retour du propriétaire

Мою кімнату я прибрав сам, тому що за місяць перебування мені ніхто цього не запропонував. Я б поращив шумоізоляцію стіе, тому що багато гостей були дуже шумні. В іншому все було добре.

Kitchen is untidy when you have multiple tenants. Freezer is packed with old fruits and vegitables and other foods when tenants are coming and going. Breakfast items are not replenished on daily basis. We had to purchase our own essentials. Generally the kitchen and bathrooms need cleaning on daily basis with multiple occupancy. Downstairs in the laundry area is a mess. Curtains to cover things not to be seen

Price unbeatable, quiet area and reasonable walking distance to food. It is like an hostel more than just a room.

Took multiple tries to get code in an door open I didn't like the fact that when other people came to the home they were not quiet and stomping around making noise. I did not like the room I was in, the mirror was dirty there was dirt on the floor. You could hear everyone every time they went to use the washroom, every flush, tap, and shower could be heard through my room I got woken up multiple times from people using it in the middle of the night. Then I had to wait 30 minutes for someone in said bathroom because they were doing their makeup and wouldn't come out as I knocked and asked if they were almost done. I will not be choosing this place again this was a waste of money and im not very satisfied with what I had to deal with for the price I paid. You need to be more clear in your description this is a room in a house with 5 other strangers that come an go as they please.

I got a room #1 in this house, and thanks God not needed to stay more, because: the bed was totally uncomfortable bcoz of mattress and nose that frame makes, the cheapest bedding that probably wasn't washed properly or at all, since I found few pieces of hair on the flat sheet, and it was totally wrinkled, towels are not clean, with stains. In addition, there was opened window with malfunctioned closing mechanism, so I had to sleep with opened window even though it was still cold enough weather. At the same time the owner put a notice beside heater regulator, asking to KEEP TEMPERATURE IN BETWEEN 15 - 20 DEGREES.. SERIOUSLY?? When outside temperature is still below 10 degrees.. Are you okay?? He wants just to save money on people's comfort. That's bad, Alfonso. A cleanliness is #1 thing that people coming to stay there should see. I won't recommend that place to anyone else. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The room and doors were very old. The electricity wasn't working half of the time i was there. The owner when called said he will fix it in an hour and didn't show up. I could not charge my phone or anything. There are two front doors, it was confusing for the food delivery driver

I didn't like anything about this location.

As I drove up, the property was clearly not taken care of. The grass and weeds were overgrown. The windows were left open and no one was home (Safety concern). The paint on the deck is old and needs to be redone. There appears to be soft planks that need to be replaced. The bathroom smelled of sewer. The vent cover on the bathroom wall was full of black fuzz, the shower had mould so obviously not cleaned for a while. The code on the front door is the same as the code on the bedroom door. Again, a safety concern. The ad also says lake view. The room was in the basement and covered with trees so there is no way you could see the water unless you remove the trees and climb in the bed. I didn't stay there and I booked another hotel. When I contacted Booking.com about the state of this place, they contacted the property manager. I booked two nights and I was told I would get a refund for the second night only to find out a few days later that that property refused to give me any money back. I don't know how this place has such a high rating. It's dirty and I would NOT recommend it.

Cleanliness is poor in the room (not sure if the floor was vacuumed or not since still things on the floor and mat, dirt on bookshelves and side table, some weird stains on the blanket, and the pillows didn’t smell fresh at all. Very very old hand towels which makes me think about nursing homes). Unlike the description (I booked the one that mentioned “double room with balcony for 2 adults and 1 baby” but literally just a private room with 2 windows, no balcony). A smell like weed/marijuana from downstairs hit my nose right in the moment I stepped in (I’m pregnant and I didn’t like it at all). The main floor smelled good though. Noisy after 4pm til evening (people talking, cooking, cleaning). The place overall is good but need some more care

As soon as I walked in, I realized that I would not be able to stay. The house was dirty, blinds in bedroom broken and an overall uncomfortable feeling. I sent the host a message that was not replied to. I left after ten minutes and had to find somewhere else to stay, after paying the full price. Very disappointed.

Le système de chauffage dans ma chambre etait peut-etre un peu aléatoire avec le radiateur mobile mais je me suis quand même sentie dans un environnement confortable. Le système de fermeture electronique est un peu compliqué à prendre en mains. Je suis restée dehors plusieurs fois. Les clés, c’est bien mais c’est peut-etre un peu Millenials de dire ça ? 🤭

Alfonso was very polite and helpful. The location is perfect close to shopping and downtown. The place was very comfortable and clean.

The area was a nice neighbourhood and because we arrived after dark, it was helpful that the house directions were very clear. It was convenient to have a later checkout at 2 pm as well. Lunch and dinner were also an option for an extra fee.
