Even though the Guest-house is run down and badly in need of repairs and renovations the bed was very comfortable and the AC was good. I liked the atmosphere and location. It was private and I felt secure.

L'habitacio era gegant amb un llit molt comode, bany gran i aire condicionat que funcionava molt be. A l'habitacio hi havia els estris per a fer te/cafè. Possibilitat de sopar allà ( una mica car però convenient). Aprop de supermercats i warungs. Esmorzar abans del tour al Parc Nacional tot i que bastant justet l'esmorzar.

La meva habitacio estava just davant de la cuina recepció on tenien la musica bastant alta durant el dia i dificultava el descans i estar tranquil a l'habitació. Per la nit no hi havia musica i es podia dormir bé. Em van recomanar un lloc per a menjar ( on envien a tots els turistes perquè està a peu de platja) era car, extremadament lent, poca quantitat i no gaire bó. Molt més aprop de la guest house ( en direccio contraria per el carrer principal) vaig descobrir un altre lloc molt recomanable.

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt gelegen. Der Strand ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt und Indomaret und auch Alfamaret sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind gross, haben warmes Wasser und auch Wlan ist verfügbar. Das Frühstück war lecker und reichhaltig.

Die Zimmer wirken etwas heruntergekommen. Der Schrank war kaputt und der Wasserkocher verbrannt. Auch das Gebäude im allgemeinen könnte etwas mehr Liebe vertragen. Das Frühstück vor unserer Tour war etwas stressig da das Buffet nicht wie angegeben um 05:30 bereit war. Am letzten Morgen gab es für etwa 2 Stunden kein Wasser.

Deze guesthouse bevindt zich vlakbij de ingang van Tangkoko NP dus de locatie is uitstekend. Wij hadden met ons gezin 2 budgetkamers op het gelijkvloers en deze waren ruim, proper en voorzien van airco. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar goed. We aten ook ‘s avonds in de guesthouse en ook dat was erg lekker. We gingen met gids Arya het park in zowel voor de avond- als voor de ochtendtour. Arya toonde ons alle dieren en maakte prachtige foto’s.

Amazing guesthouse in a GREAT location! Our room was so spacious, super clean & comfy! AC & WiFi both worked great! Hot water in the shower! We booked our Tangkoko National Park tour through the guesthouse & had the BEST time - big thanks for Gian & Alex our guides! You guys were amazing - thank you so so much! Honestly the friendliness of the staff at this guesthouse is just fabulous! We loved our stay so much we didn’t want to leave… thank you for a great couple of days!!!

Great place to stay, Arya the guide to the park is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make we saw all the target animals. very friendly and helpful. 3 minutes to the beach.

L’accueil du personnel est exceptionnel. Ils ont tout organisé…nos transports, les visites du parc avec guide…et ils ont même réussi à nous trouver un gâteau pour l’anniversaire de notre fils !!

Das Hostel war sehr gepflegt und sauber,außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstück war auch sehr vielfältig und ein super freundliches Personal.

Nous avons adoré cette grande maison familiale au cœur du village et à deux pas de la mer. Nous avons ainsi pu aller manger et boire sur la plage dans une paillote et nous étions tout près de l’entrée du parc national. Le personnel est adorable et nous a organisé les randonnées dans le parc où nous avons vu plein d’animaux grâce à notre guide. Je recommande cette adresse.

Super friendly staff/owners made us feel welcome during our short visit. Breakfasts were very good and the dining area is cute. I haven’t been to many home stays nor rented rooms in this price range but I think for the price it’s a good option in the area. If you are a light sleeper ear plugs and a mask are a good idea. I think this would be true for many of the other properties as well.

Goed gelegen accommodatie. De guide, die vanuit het guesthouse werd aangeraden, was vriendelijk sprak goed Engels en ging voorzichtig om met de wilde dieren. Het eten in het guesthouse was goed en de medewerkers vriendelijk.

Conveniently located close to Tangkoko NP and supermarket. FYI no ATMs in town so bring cash! Most tours and fees are cash only. The room was clean and spacious and even had a kettle to have some coffee or tea. The breakfast was very good! The guide they provided was great and quite knowledgeable! The staff, particularly the owner Pasca, was ready to help with anything I needed so I am very grateful for that!

I liked the upper balcony area, watching directly on the forest. The restaurant despite being very basic has nice food.

Not sure if there's something I didn't like. As European I think it's just a matter of getting used to what's different. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it has all you need. Bathroom piping could be arranged better. And lights!!! Please white cold lights are awful 🤢 they kill every warmth and coziness in a place

Excellent food, brilliant service and amazing people.

Great staff, guesthouse has everything you need, hot / cold water, own resto with good food for good value. Fresh juices with no sugar are nice touch. Bath room a little out of date, weird piping system and sometimes loud music fron 7-9 am during my stay. Big thanks to Gian, my guide, he went above and beyond to help locate the animals and get a good shot with your camera or smartphone.

Pokoj je prostorný, čistý, sprcha i s teplou vodou funguje. Baterie umyvadla nefungovala. V koupelné byl sprchový gel a krém. V pokoji pitná voda, rychlovarná konvice, hrnky a čaje.

Restaurace nám přišla trochu horší, ale dalo se tam něco vybrat (radéji neberte fried chicken, které je s kostí a neudělali nám ho dostatečně - ale nechtěly ho zaplatit, tak dobrý). Chovají v kuchyni králíčky a chodí tam pes, pro člověka z Evropy docela nezvyk.

Einfach, nicht besonders stylisch, bietet alles, was wir brauchten.Die Touren in den Tangkoko können direkt in der Unterkunft gebucht werden & Gian ist ein sehr guter Guide, war Geduldig, Ausdauernd, zeigt gegenüber den Tieren Respekt.

A bit noisy during the day with loud music coming from nearby houses but it seems to be pretty common in Indonesia.

Das Haus lag nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Das Frühstück war angemessen und wurde als einfaches Buffet angeboten. Das Abendessen war lecker und wurde frisch zubereitet. Der Preis war ok, aber nicht inbegriffen. Es gab nette, geschnitzte Souvenirs aus Holz oder T-Shirts mit Aufdrucken als Erinnerung an den Nationalpark. Ich hatte keinen Balkon, da das Zimmer im EG war, konnte aber im Obergeschoß im Schatten auf einer "Hollywood-Schaukel" im Schatten die heiße Mittagszeit verbringen. Von dort konnte man sogar hin und wieder die Makaken in den Bäumen beobachten. Das Personal war sehr nett und bemüht

Der Raum roch muffig (im EG gleich neben dem Eingang)und die Bettdecke hatte keinen Bezug. Leider war der Strand an dieser Stelle nicht zugängig, da es sehr hohe Wellen gab und der Sand steil abfallend war. Der schwarze Sand war um die Mittagszeit nicht zu nutzen (so heiß, dass ich mir trotz Sandalen Brandblasen an den Füßen geholt habe) Etwas weiter im Ort, war der Strand flacher. Ich habe leider im Ort kein Restaurant gefunden, nur einen einfachen Imbiss in einer Seitenstraße

Loved our stay and Tangkoko Gallery. The rooms were simple but comfortable. The terrace upstairs had a lovely view into the jungle. We organised morning and evening tours with Tangkoko Gallery into the national park and Arya was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and brilliant at spotting the wildlife, and remained always professional and respectful of the wildlife. Recommend staying here for your stay in Tangkoko. The food at the restaurant was also great! And plenty of food for breakfast including lots of fruit.

Das Guesthouse war sauber, das Zimmer einfach aber mit AC, außerhalb vom Zimmer gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten zum Lesen und Draußensitzen. Wir machten die Tour mit Arya - super Guide. Das Personal sowie Arya konnten gut Englisch sprechen, sowie auch die Küche dort können wir empfehlen

Die Lage ist top und die Tour mit Arya war sehr toll. Sie haben uns alle Highlights und noch mehr zeigen können. Auch das Essen im Restaurant direkt in der Unterkunft war sehr lecker. Die Nachttour macht auch bei Regen Spaß.

Es gab hin und wieder kein warmes Wasser. Da es allerdings überall warm ist, ist es kein Problem

I really enjoyed my stay here. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and good working AC. The staff were all very friendly and happy. They also picked me up from the airport in Manado. I did the evening and morning jungle trek via them, which were both great. My guide Gian was very knowledgeable about the animals and Forrest and spotted every animal that I wanted to see in the National park. The included breakfast was good, I also had lunch and dinner there which were both very tasty and for a good price. Can't recommend this guest house enough!

The roosters from the neighbour were quite loud and at night I could also hear the generator. So I would recommend bringing earplugs if you want a quiet sleep

Les soirées à ecouter le personnel jouer de la guitare et chanter. Les guides, en particulier Arya et son fameux "oh wow" que je recommande absolument si vous voulez tout voir dans la jungle. Ce gars a des yeux d'aigle 🤣 et est d'une gentillesse incroyable. Le calme du lieu avec un supermarché juste a côté. L'accès proche du parc de Tangkoko et la plage a 2 min à pieds. Le rapport qualité/prix.

If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay for tours in Tangkoko National Park, you can stop searching and just book Tangkoko Gallery Guesthouse. We stayed here for 3 nights and had an amazing time. The whole family and everyone working here are incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. The location is excellent, practically right by the beach and close to a supermarket, and the food at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious, always freshly prepared. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need, including super comfortable beds! The jungle tours are also organized directly by the guesthouse, one at 6 a.m. and one at 4:30 p.m. We did both tours with Gian, who managed to find every animal we were hoping to see and explained so much about their way of life. Thank you so much, Gian, for this amazing experience! We also recommend taking a walk through the village down to the beach. Everyone was so kind to us and always wanted to strike up a conversation, which we really enjoyed. We will definitely keep recommending this guesthouse and are so glad we chose to stay here! Thank you so much and take care, guys! (I don't have to many pictures from the accommodation but some from the view from the balcony and from outside, everything is so green around there)

Sehr familiäres Ambiente, man fühlt sich gleich willkommen. Alle sind sehr freundlich, bei jedem Anliegen wird man sofort unterstützt. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker! Und die Lage ist toll, maximal 5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Vor allem unser Dschungel-Guide Gian war echt super! Er hat viel erklärt und total viele Tiere entdeckt und hat sich viel Zeit für uns genommen. Die Betten im Zimmer waren bequem und das Wasser in der Dusche schön warm. Alles wunderbar, würden wir jederzeit gerne wieder hin! :)

Super Lage, nettes Personal und alles kann von der Besitzerin organisiert werden. Auch die Tour in den Tangkoko Nationalpark mit dem Guide Gian war super! Kann ich nur empfehlen. Ansonsten für den Preis, absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Es war alles wunderbar. Ich habe spät abends noch etwas zu essen bekommen und das Personal war superfreundlich. Das Zimmer war absolut toll und ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Touren in den Nationalpark waren absolut traumhaft. Sehr zu empfehlen.

A great little hotel in Tangkoko. The rooms are big and clean. Meals are delicious. The owners are very friendly and can organise all the tours in the park with a local guide, and are doing a lot to support the community. We also appreciated the water fountains throughout the hotel, which reduces plastic waste. The beach is right behind the hotel too. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Paska and her team are very kind and helpful. She organised a guide for us (Gian) who took us to the national park twice. He was very patient and gave us all the time we needed to take a good look at the animals. He even found us a python :) thank you so much, we had a great time :)

Rooms are not soundproof and a little bright. Earplugs and/or sleeping mask recommended if you are bothered by this.

Located near the beach and in the village its a great spot to stay. They are very professional with amazing service and the food they cook is really tasty. I also took one of their guides for the expedition and loved the care for nature and details of Arja. Strongly reccomend becuase they are peofessional and nature caring. Spéciale dédicace à Arya : the guide of the situation! Très consciencieux, de bonnes explications, investi et qui prend le temps de vous faire découvrir son parc avec passion. Lovely family run home stay very close to the entrance of the national park. Cute little room with AC (which you absolutely need in this area), fantastic breakfast, and we also took part in 2 tours (morning and evening) run by the host. Aria knows a lot about the park and treats the animals with respect (not chasing wild animals) can highly recommend staying at the gallery guest house

La guesthouse est placée à 2 pas de la belle plage de sable noir du village où on peut se baigner. L'endroit est simple, propre et sympa. Très bonne nourriture le soir, pdj sous forme de petit buffet simple et bon. Arya est un bon guide pour marcher dans le parc. On peut lui faire confiance pour trouver les bons endroits et voir toutes sortes d'animaux. Il se sert d'une longue vue pour prendre photos ou vidéos avec un téléphone, images magnifiques. Les marches du soir et du matin se passent au même endroit mais les animaux ne sont pas les mêmes, de vrais grands moments !

Les transports organisés par l'établissement sont un peu chers, en tout cas pour une personne seule.

Tolles Personal, familiäre Homestay Athmosphäre. Sauberkeit und Nähe zum Strand und Nationalpark. Arya der Tourguide des Hauses, führte uns zweimal in den Park. Er ist humorvoll, kennt sich bestens aus und geht sehr respektvoll mit dem Wald und seinen Bewohnern um.

Large big clean room with high ceilings, comfortable bed, clean beddingz Location location super close to reserve. Arranged local guide to park for us, plus bike rental for our free day. Also arranged onward travel to Pulisan/ Manado. Restaurant on site which is awesome and serves food food. Wifi good - I worked remotely from here without any issues but I wasn’t doing much screen share. About 10mbps download speed. Places to sit in common area to work and in room. Host Paska was awesome, super friendly and spoke great English. Definitely recommended for a stay in Tangkoko !!

Dès les premières minutes nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons reçu toutes les informations nécessaires pour la durée du séjour. Paskah et son équipe sont au top. La chambre était spacieuse et propre, la climatisation fonctionnait très bien (heureusement car le soleil de l'après-midi tape bien contre la fenêtre). Les plats servis au restaurant sont très bons et de taille généreuse. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent et riche, et nous avons pu en profiter avant le tour du matin dans le parc, proposé par l'hébergement. Nous avons eu la chance d'être guidés dans la réserve par Arya, qui est passionné et respectueux de la faune, et qui connaît très bien les lieux.

Nous sommes restés 2 nuits à Tangkoko Gallery. Le resort est très bien situé à 2 pas de la plage et tout près de l'entrée du parc. Le restaurant est agréable et bon. Les chambres sont un peu défraîchies mais correctes. Le plus c'est le guide Arya qui est le neveu de la propriétaire. Il connaît très bien la forêt et vous donne des explications excellentes sur la vie animale. Avec lui on a pu tout voir et observer : tarsiers, bear kuskus, hornbills, différents oiseaux tous plus magnifiques les uns que les autres, les lézards planant et même un python !! Une super expérience. Merci Arya.

Location in the town lacks some of the jungle vibe. If here for wildlife photography, some of the other homestays have guides with scopes and cellphone attachments for amazing photos

Super accueil, le personnel comme les guides sont adorables. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien équipées et propres. Le restaurant est délicieux, pas la peine d’aller manger ailleurs ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour là bas, nous nous y sommes sentis bien et le parc est magnifique !

The room are large and with very comfortable beds, everything worked perfectly. The location is nice because it is close to the village and to the park entry, so you can see more of local life. The breakfast was also good.

Il a pris le temps de nous montrer tous les animaux emblématiques de la Forêt et nous a donné plein d'informations sur leurs mode de vie. Nous le recommandons

Nous avons adoré cette étape, la randonnée du matin était incroyable, la.chambre était très propre, la salle de bain super et la climatisation marchait très bien. Nos hôtes ont été adorables et très prévenants. Franchement un coup de cœur.

Great Staff and great guides!

Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft und sehr zufrieden. Unser Zimmer war gut eingerichtet und die Betten waren super bequem. Klimaanlage und warmes Wasser mit gutem Wasserdruck war vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist (Pancakes, Toast, Marmelade, schokocreme, Obst, Kaffee und Tee) sehr lecker und ein guter Start in den Tag. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut vor Ort und auch zuvor. Wir hatten einen Transport vom Flughafen und zurück über das Hotel gebucht. War sehr pünktlich und lief alles reibungslos. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würden wieder kommen.

Einfache, aber schöne und familiengeführte Unterkunft. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Paskah ist super freundlich und organisiert zuverlässig alle notwendigen Transfers (z.B. vom Flughafen Manado oder nach Tomohon). Der Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso der Nationalpark. Ihr Neffe Arya ist ein sehr netter Tourguide.

Very pleasant stay at Tangkoko Gallery Guest House. Delicious food and extremely helpful Paska & Team, organising everything within a minute.

Open floor with owners living in the same place, which makes the place feel like a home. You are invited to join their house, the kitchen is always operating and the food is great. The space serves special tourists such as bird watchers, so the organization for field trips with their staff and transportation is a perfect setting.

Nothing really, the experience we had was fantastic.

The folks running the place could not have been more happy, friendly and accommodating. The guide for the national Park (Esli)was stellar . Great attitude and great respect for the wildlife. Very knowledgeable and had incredible eyes.

Minor things broken not repaired

Ms. Paskah and Mr. Esli where most helpful in my requests. Though I had gone out earlier in the day they did hold breakfast over for me upon my return. Would recommend this to anyone going.
