Hotel Titus City Centre

Location was the only good thing about this place.

I paid 998€ to stay here for 5 nights, and that was criminal. Price doubles on the weekend, I live in nyc and it’s common there too but that doesn’t justify it. My room did NOT match the listing photos, the curtains you had to sleep under were covered in mold and the room barely had space for my suitcase. Water in the shower smelled bad and ran either too hot to touch or lukewarm at best. I asked for a new room, they were very nice about it but and changed my rooms for me, even moving my luggage for me, but the new room was also moldy, I could only find one outlet behind both a curtain and a cabinet. Bathroom floor in the new room flooded with every shower, door didn’t close and handle was half broken. If you have asthma get your inhaler ready because they don’t mention the incredibly steep stairs without a lift.

La posizione è tattica, in Leiseplain, con numerosi locali nelle immediate vicinanze ed in linea retta verso la stazione centrale e Piazza Dam, raggiungibile con una camminata a piedi. Stanza ordinata e pulita, letto confortevole, bagno piccolo ma pulito. Zona tranquilla. Il personale gentile, check-out senza fronzoli e al contrario di quanto asserito in altre recensioni, pulizia della biancheria e della stanza indiscutibili. Distributore di acqua e snack davanti alla reception.

Come forse tutte gli edifici del centro storico di Amsterdam, che si sviluppano in altezza partendo da una base piuttosto stretta, bisogna considerare il fattore scale: non c'è ascensore, gli scalini sono piccolissimissimi e con bagagli importanti o persone a ridotta mobilità può essere un problema non da poco. L'unica camera con il letto matrimoniale è all'ultimo piano (il quarto), raggiungibile con una sessantina di scale. La camera è più che essenziale, le prese sono scomode se si vuole avere il cellulare in mano a letto, perciò eventualmente dotatevi di prolunghe. Non c'era l'aria condizionata, ma c'era a disposizione un ventilatore. Se si va d'estate con queste ultime ondate di calore, essendo la camera un sottotetto, potrebbe diventare più calda di quanto ci si aspetti.

Can’t fit in bathroom. There was a slipper and toothbrush that weren’t ours in the bathroom. There was a dirty handprint on the wall (if you know what I mean) by the bed, and the bathroom smelled of sewer gas.

Las escaleras están muy empinadas...nos tocó el último piso....el baño diminuto....y la ducha no tenía puerta ni cortina.....se salía todo el agua...

La habitación un desastre, nos toco al lado de la recepción y la recepcionista una noche no paro de hablar a los gritos con una amiga, por otro lado la habitación sucia, al punto que debajo de la cama encontramos restos de comida. Durante la estadía nunca entraron a limpiarla y cuando te duchabas se inundaba la habitación...

Hotel dans un bâtiment typique d'Amsterdam, le long des canaux, avec beaucoup de charme. Notre chambre donnait sur les canaux. Lits très confortables.

Manque d'entretien (poussière en général et moisi sur les joints de la salle de bain)

Camera piccola e letti particolari, però dalle foto è tutto esposto quindi si sa a cosa si va incontro, e per il prezzo va’ benissimo

un très mauvais rapport qualité prix, 1000 euros pour 2 nuits dans un hotel de mauvaise qualité. Mobilier usagé, sallle de bain mal équipée. Je n'ai jamais payé aussi cher pour d'aussi mauvaises prestations

Great location with a beautiful canal view. The bus to the city center is only a 5-minute walk away, and the airport bus is around 5-8 mins away on foot. Many attractions, including the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark, are walkable, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby within a 5mins walk. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of four . The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there are many dining options nearby. Overall, a great place to stay with a convenient location for exploring Amsterdam.

The only thing I didn’t like was the stairs, especially when bringing our luggage up to the second floor. However, I believe this is quite common in many Amsterdam buildings due to their traditional architecture. Perhaps, it would be helpful if they could have a small luggage lift or something similar to make it easier for guests, since there is no elevator. Other than that, everything was great.

Calling this place a hotel would be unfair. It is far from the city center, not clean, the stairs are extremely steep and exhausting, and the room had a heavy odor that they did nothing about despite us reporting it. The staff were indifferent, and this was one of the worst accommodation experiences of my life. I absolutely do not recommend it

There is absolutely nothing to like about this hotel; it was a complete disappointment. No one would want to sleep in a place that smells dirty.

La posizione è ottima, staff super disponibile. È già la seconda volta che prenoto una stanza in questo hotel. Sono ritornata perché già la prima volta sono rimasta contenta. Ci ritornerei volentieri

El personal tan servicial, y todas las facilidades que ofrece el hotel. Hay cafetera y microondas que se puede utilizar, al igual que nevera.

Desde q uno entra no da confianza, se ve gente rara , las escaleras muy empinadas , se escucha la bulla de otros cuartos , solo me quedé una noche y fue horrible , la gente pasa borracha gritando al frente de la puerta , fuman marihuana y el olor llega a la habitación , eran las 5 am y aún no se podía dormir

Nos encantó todo, lo único que puede ser incómodo son las escaleras. Pero el personal en todo momento fue atento y trato de ayudar en todo lo posible.

Zeer vriendelijke personeel. Ook een zeer goede locatie vlak bij het water en makkelijk te bereiken.

Nothing. By a wide margin, this is the worst place I've ever stayed.

The room is tiny and wasn't clean. The bathroom is a complete disaster. The whole place smells bad and clearly hasn't been renovated in at least 40 to 50 years.

Everything!! The staff team is OUTSTANDING . We reception team is great, super helpful and welcoming. We rented 2 bikes to also use around and it was awesome! Location is great! Walking distance for the whole Center city! The hotel is specially close to Vondelpark, Van Gogh Museum and etc. The room was quit and clean! Bathroom and shower perfect! It’s definitely on my list to stay when I come back to AMS.

Nothing! Some people would say the stairs, but to be honest if you don’t like stairs don’t come to Amsterdam in general.

Läget är fantastiskt!

Doft av mögel i trapphus samt tecken på mögel i badrummet. Städningen av rummet var tyvärr dålig och det var ganska smutsigt på exempelvis golv och lister vid incheckning.
