The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the staff were nice. The soaps and shampoos were made on the Island.

The room was dated and unfortunately quite musty. It was a very basic room in what I expected would be a somewhat upscale hotel. Attention to detail is really lacking (e.g. a room for four with coffee for two) and overall decor far from charming (e.g. clock radio stapled to the end table). Even the grounds were shabby looking in a place were beautiful things grow so easily - a little landscaping would do wonders if they want the place to look appealing. Ucluelet has much nicer places on offer.

sitting in a chair on outside deck having a bite to eat the handrail ia rite at eye level blocking a great view . why would you have such a wide rail at the top .. very poor design

The location was excellent, we really enjoyed Ucluelet. Easier town compared to Tofino, the Lighthouse Loop hiking trail was beautiful.

No cable on the TV, the remote didn't work. The electrical outlets near the bed were also not working.

Room was musty, smelled very bad. Photos made it look far better than it did in person.

Very noisy, in rooms the walls have no soundproofing and guests were allowed to make noise until after 1am, despite signs saying after 10pm noise is not permitted. Loud gas powered gardening trimmer was also started around 9:30am on the lodge property, which didn’t make for a very pleasant morning.

Having two double beds downstairs from our Kingsize in the loft, which was great, but the downstairs space could be better for two as sitting and dining area.

great place and great staff. we had a small hotwater problem and they took care of that real fast and made sure we are happy with the result..

Necesita una mano de pintura toda la fachada exterior,y una renovación de escaleras. Las habitaciones limpias y espaciosas, aunque olía mucho a cerrado. La alfombra del duelo necesita un cambio, no tienes ni una mesa en la terraza y los muebles del interior se ven viejos y muy utilizados, El baño enano pensando que es una habitación para 4 personas. La barbacoa, de uso comunitario, estaba sucísima y a la cocina , ni nos atrevimos a entrar. Calidad relación precio pésima, no vale lo que cuesta. El pueblo no tiene casi nada, hay muchísimo más ambiente en Tofino. La verdad es que no lo recomendaría.

Vue depuis la chambre sur la marina , parking juste à côté , chambre simple mais agréable . Plages à ne pas rater, sentier pacific rim . piste cyclable vers Tofino magnifique avec de longs passages dans la rainforest sublimes et plages extraordinaires mais ne rêvez pas de baignade , eau à 10 degrés …! Amateurs de surf vous trouverez votre bonheur

Pas de petit déjeuner possible dans l’hôtel ni de restaurant , accueil un peu froid . Food truck sur le parking ( empenadas uniquement , plutôt moyen …) Village à 10 minutes de marche , restauration simple sur la rue principale .Village sans grand intérêt

Les meubles et la décoration étaient vétustes , l’organisation des pièces de ce duplexe bizarre : un lavabo en haut d’un escalier à la vue de tous , séparé des toilettes et de la baignoire par une porte coulissante qui ne fermait pas bien. La moquette d’un autre temps. Compte tenu du prix payé je m’attendais à mieux.

Gute Lage und das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal an der Rezeption. Auch gut ist die Möglichkeit, Wäsche zu waschen. In Summe hat das Hotel allerdings seine vier Sterne nicht verdient und ist hoffnungslos überteuert. Leider hat man in Ucluelet nicht viele andere Optionen.

Leider hat uns das Hotel enttäuscht. Der ganze Komplex ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Die Lage am Wasser ist zwar wirklich toll, allerdings wirkt der Außenbereich nicht besonders gepflegt (Komposthaufen direkt neben unserem Zimmer, Nachfüllflaschen für Shampoo usw. wurden draußen vor den Zimmern gelagert…). Unser Zimmer hat beim Betreten extrem muffig/schimmlig gerochen (wie nach Käsefüßen). Das Zimmer war zwar geräumig, allerdings war das Bad sehr eng und auch nicht 100% sauber. Das Fliegengitter war defekt, was am Wasser mit den vielen Mücken zu einem großen Problem werden kann. Scheinbar gehört auch keine tägliche Reinigung zum Service, wir haben nur auf Wunsch am 2. Tag frische Handtücher bekommen. Die Mülleimer im Zimmer wurden nicht geleert, so dass wir den Müll teils in den Mülltonnen draußen leeren mussten.

Sicuramente la posizione. Sei vicino alle spiagge da vedere, alla foresta umida, e sei vicino anche a Tofino, che sinceramente mi è piaciuta meno di Ucluelet. La stanza era grande per 5 persone, purtroppo con un solo bagno.

A parte il parcheggio gratuito, lunico servizio era una cucina comune, con pentole vecchie e non in buone condizioni, non c'era molto ordine, ma questo è forse colpa degli ospiti. Noi non l'abbiamo utilizzata, non ci piaceva.

Schön an der Marina gelegen, gemütliches Zimmer. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr freundlich und hat uns für die letzte Nacht ein kostenloses Upgrade gegeben, so dass wir das Zimmer für die letzte Nacht nicht wechseln mussten.

Das Fenster im oberen Stock lässt sich nicht öffnen. Die Klimaanlage war laut, so dass wir sie in der Nacht nicht eingeschaltet hatten und durch das geschlossene Fenster war es stickig im Raum.

De bedden waren goed, kamer was groot. Badkamer aan de kleine kant maar schoon.

Hotel is oud en dat ruik je, niet fris! Vieze vloerbedekking. De keuken die voor algemeen gebruik was was erg smerig!

Prima locatie nabij centrum, jachthaven ( voor bootexcursies naar bv walvissen ). Prima bedden, goed internet en gratis parkeren vlakbij je kamer. Goed sanitair en heel mooi uitzicht vanaf je balkon.

Geen lift dus zware bagage moet met trap omhoog. In ons geval wat rennende en gillende ( Nederlandse ) kinderen rond de kamer. Best irritant als je op je balkon van het prachtige uitzicht zit te genieten. Kan het hotel uiteraard niets aan doen en neem ik niet mee in de beoordeling.

Conveniently located at the marina and quick acess to nearing trails and Tofino!

In need of upgrade. The shower and sink in our unit were not draining off properly. Shower head and faucet were not properly mounted. The night reception responded promptly to our concerns and the clogs were fixed.

- place had very few visitors, so it felt peaceful & quiet - when we arrived, they had upgraded us to a 2-bdrm suite, which was nice, but it was also one floor up - relatively quick sign in & out - my wife had left her phone charger behind; we asked them to put this aside for us to pickup several days later on our way back through town and this was done without issue. Thanks!

We gave the following feedback to the staff during our stay and upon check-out: - no freezer inside room, we were directed to use the shared freezer in common area. One morning, we discovered someone had taken out my wife's medicine and left it out; lucky it didn't spoil - room smelled faintly of feces/sewage the whole stay. We tried to identify the source... first thought was from toilet or drains, but turned out the carpet was filthy - air conditioner didn't work upon arrival, had to get serviceman. This was addressed in a timely way though, so not a big issue - sliding mosquito net door onto the deck was ripped... notified front desk upon arrival, but this didn't get repaired our entire stay - room wifi was spotty and slow - porch railing was covered in bird poop and seemed never to have been cleaned - price was far too high for what we were getting and the vacancy they were experiencing, even after the unasked room upgrade - one of our blankets had dried blood stains on its 2 different corners..

Location was convenient.

Parking lot was primitive.Access to unit by stairs was a challenge for elderly guests and small children. Bed arrangement was awkward;would have nice to have a queen bed on both upper and lower floor and 2 baths.

Tolles Zimmer, wunderschöner Ausblick. Perfekte Lage. Wir waren leider nur zwei Nächte hier. Hier kann man es durchaus länger aushalten.

The pictures don't reflect what its actually like. It is very overpriced and is definitely not 4 stars. Its a high 3 star not a 4. Towels were damp and clearly hadn't dried out enough after being laundered. Didn't meet expectations. Communal kitchen - hmm.....

Location was great. View on harbor excellent. Room was big and beds were comfortble.

Room was not cleaned. Coffe was not filled up. The coffee cups were not cleaned. So we could not fix coffee the second morning. Ice machine was broken. Receiption staff did not know, Gave wrong information.

The premises are totally outdated and deteriorated and moldy, largely due to used carpets. Windows were not locked and screen windows were broken. Too many rooms to manage properly.

A lower cost.

Arriving at this hotel they told us our booking was cancelled (by the system..). We had a booking conformation but they told us they could not honour this for the price we got on our confirmed booking. They could however put us up for the night, since they had rooms vacant... So we did not have to sleep in our car on my birthday. After an hour debating they did offer to give us a better room, but they still made us pay 50 dollar extra than what we booked.

Front desk staff answering phones are hard to understand and incompetent. Instead of confirming the credit I have there through a Travelzoo voucher, they refuse to honor the voucher, they argue, they refuse to put me through to their managers, they use excuses like "I only work here" and when I told them I had already confirmed the value of my voucher with Travelzoo they persist in denying my credit and continue to be evasive and disputatious. The hotel may be lovely but their staff are awful.

Amazing views over the harbour. The location was very central. Plenty of parking space even for large vehicles. The on site Empanada food truck was awesome

The rooms are somewhat outdated in terms of decor and facilities and could do with an update. The bathroom was tiny

had a wonderful stay. super friendly service at check-in. someone was always available at the front desk 24/7 for question. the room was very spacious with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I really enjoyed the private balcony with beautiful views of the marina. the bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows. would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

It is in a beautiful location.

The carpet smelled musty. It really should have been updated to hardwood floors. The room is a decent size, but there is a need for more tables, hooks, shelves and other basic items to help people organize their belongings during their stay. The staff was generally friendly but one person in particular, was not suited for their job. They made us feel that they were doing us a favour by providing the items that we needed for our stay. Our group consisted of 4 people staying for 3 days and they thought a little pack of toilet paper was enough. They literally questioned our request for more. We had to ask for everything. More cups, more towels. I would have expected them to anticipate our needs much better, since they charged us for the extra people.

The location was perfect, beautiful views of the inlet.

Very thin walls, can easily be hearing neighbour’s. Not a warm welcome from the reception, she did not even receive us with a smile. But overall, pleasant stay!

We had a great time exploring the west coast of Vancouver Island from our lovely room. The bed was so comfortable, and the fireplace made for cozy evenings after days of hiking and kayaking. We loved the view of the marina and having a communal kitchen was a bonus we weren't expecting. This is a gem of a property and we'll be back!

Front staff upgraded us for the same price we had paid thru Booking.com - we think because we asked to stay extra days. Loved the room, the view. Front staff was great! When we had to move for the extra days, Paul moved our things for us so we didn't have to wait around. That was fantastic service

Rooms weren't the cleanest we have seen in hotels. Beds were clean and comfy. Had a couple of issues with electrical sockets (they didn't work) but we told front desk about them.

We loved the location. It had beautiful views of the marina. The room was great, very spacious. When we called to make the reservation we explained that I have trouble with my legs that make stairs difficult. They told us there were no stairs. Well, there were stairs getting into the room and then stairs within the room. Yes, there was another way to get to the room that didn't involve stairs but it was a long way around. We should have asked for a change of room that was easier to get to but by the time we got to the room with all our luggage, we were just happy to sit down and relax. It was a great location and a great room, but the stairs caused an issue for us.
