Nach 10 Jahren waren wir nochmals in der Pacific Rim Lodge.Dieses Mal hatten wir auch einen Tisch und Stühle,sodass wir bequem essen konnten. Die Lage etwas außerhalb ist für uns in Ordnung, da man von hier aus auch direkten Zugang zum Pacific Rim Trail hat.Die direkte Umgebung ist zwar nicht sehr attraktiv, aber das stört uns nicht.Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt auf jeden Fall im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften.

Die großen Fenster mit dem Ausblick auf die Berge sowie eine gute Couch.

Sie war sehr hellhörig.

Am Rand von Uclulet gelegen. Es handelt es sich um einen Zweckbau mit modern eingerichteten Zimmern, die mit allem ausgestattet sind. Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Pacific Rim NP. Ein Teil des Wild Pacific Coastaltrail beginnt in der Nähe. Nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeber

We loved the peaceful and cozy atmosphere of the property. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Ucluelet and the surrounding nature. We especially appreciated how quiet and private it felt, which made our anniversary trip extra special.

Schlechte Lage im Industriegebiet, Kaffeemaschine völlig verstaubt sowie Bettstreben vorne. Der schriftliche Kontakt war sehr freundlich, umso mehr waren wir über den unfreundlichen Empfang verwundert. Völlig überteuert, aus kurzfristigen organisatorischen Gründen haben wir gebucht. Wir haben angeblich großzügig ein Upgrade bekommen, hatten aber genau das Zimmer nach Abbildung so gebucht und bezahlt.

I booked this place thinking we were going to have a big soaker tub and a fireplace in our room. The listing on booking is a bit misleading but I take responsibility for not paying closer attention. When I realized we had no soaker tub, I called Glenn to check if there was a mistake with the booking. He said that the rooms with the soaker tub are the flagship for advertising and if you want to "buy a corvette you have to pay for a corvette". Little weird but anyway... I politely said I'll happily pay for the corvette. But there was no corvette available, they were all booked as Glenn said. I accepted my fate and the embarrassment towards my partner who didn't get what was promised and moved on to have a good time. On our second day, we got back into our room to find out that someone had used out toilet and forgot to flush. That was for a #2 by the way. It seems like they showered after at least, since we found hair that was not ours in the tiny non soaker tub. We laughed about it and moved on to have a good time. The evening of our last night there was pretty cold, so I wanted to turn on the fireplace but it wasn't working. I texted Glenn asking how to turn the thing on and was informed that fireplaces are turned off during summertime because the "rooms overheat" and I should use the electric base heaters instead. I wonder if the rooms overheat because the walls are paper thin and you can hear the farts from next door. It seems like they spent their whole budget into no smoking signs instead of insulation between the walls. We respected all the signs and went to have a smoke in our car. At some point Glenn came to check in on us saying that he was waiting for one last guest to check in, which was a lie. In person check in ended at 5pm,only self check in available after that.Made me wonder if there was some racial profiling happening as well.

Nous sommes français et avons passé un très agréable séjour au Pacific Rim Guest Lodge. La chambre était très propre et confortable, et le personnel vraiment très accueillant et sympathique. Mention spéciale pour la baignoire, qui est un vrai plus après une journée de découverte de la région ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons vivement cet établissement.

The bed and room were very clean and attractive.

I couldn't sleep in the bed. I had an allergic reaction to the fragrance in the bedding. I slept in the recliner with my own warm shall. I left with a bad headache.

Zimmer sehr grosszügig, Bett überdimensioniert und bequem, nur mir zu hoch. Grosse Terrassen. Nicht weit vom schönen Artist loop trail. Man kann Dank Code zur jeder Zeit anreisen.

Insgesamt ist es eher ein grosser Hof mit Containern und Stellplätzen drumrum, bei Regen etwas trist. Der Preis ist für den Platz und die Hauptsaison sicher halbwegs gerechtfertigt, aber meinem Geschmack entsprach die gesamte Anlage weniger. Die Stornierungslaufzeit war sehr lang. Wenn unterwegs was schief geht auf einer längeren Tour bleibt man auf relativ hohen Kosten sitzen, die früh abgebucht werden. Und man muss damit rechnen, die Koffer mehrere Treppen hochzutragen. Alles nicht weiter wild, wäre dafür nicht auf einer 3 wöchigen Kanadareise der höchste Preis überhaupt aufgerufen worden, den wir bezahlt haben. Das Zimmer selbst war allerdings absolut ok. Und vieles andere ist sicherlich noch viel teurer.

1. The room is not private at all. The large 2 person soaker tub has large windows that allows for public viewing from a shared balcony which is used as access to other rooms. 2. There are so many stairs. I estimated 35-40 stairs to reach your room which only had a view of their vehicle storage and storage containers.

Room decor and amenities lovely. We didn’t use the soaker tub but it would be nice if you did want a relaxing bubble bath. It was nice having 2 reclining chairs. Most hotel rooms only have one chair so nice for both of us. Patio seating options outside as well are a great feature.

Nothing not to like. The only reason I didn’t rate a happy face for value is we paid a premium price as it was the last room available In Ucluelet on a long weekend. Supply and demand pricing on booking.com.

As this was only a one‑night stay, the quiet location with nearby restaurants, trails, and beachfront was perfect. The room was well equipped with comfortable furnishings, and the bathroom had a thoughtful selection of soaps and toiletries ready to use. There was also a TV, Wi‑Fi, and coffee supplies available. Check‑in was easy, and the hosts provided excellent reception with great tips about the surrounding area.

Wasn't very clean, too much noise from other rooms, facilities not very new (which is not a problem), but there's a lack of maintenance in the entire room, bad odor on the bathroom, cleaning was VERY poor on our second day.

90% der Zimmer sind schlecht bedacht, man sieht beim vorbeigehen fast in jedes Zimmer hinein. es ist nicht ganz sauber, leider. die Wände sind extrem dünn, wir haben sogar das Schnarchen vom Nachbarn gehört.

Haben nicht das gebuchte Zimmer bekommen. Auf Nachfrage wurde die Schuld auf Booking geschoben und unfreundlich geantwortet. Putzlappen lag noch im Bettbezug

Viel Platz, großes bequemes Bett, nette Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern, Parkplatz vor der Tür. Perfekt als Basis für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

Leider war es nicht richtig sauber. Staubig, verschmutztes Trinkglas und vom Boden im Badezimmer habe ich erst einmal viele Haare entfernen müssen.

Das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet und mit vielen nützlichen Dingen ausgestattet (Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, Geschirr). Alles war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Außenwirkung der Lodge war eher unscheinbar, die direkte Umgebung nicht sehr ansprechend. Aber das tat dem Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch getan, da wir meist unterwegs waren.

Insgesamt war ich zufrieden mit der Unterkunft, es ist nicht einfach in Ucluelet eine Unterkunft zu finden, die noch einigermaßen bezahlbar ist. Etwas außerhalb gelegen, ist man trotzdem mit dem Auto schnell im Ort.

Die steile Treppe zu den Zimmern wird in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt, für jemanden mit Knieproblemen war es schon eine Herausforderung. Die Kommode am Fernseher war ein wenig verstaubt, aber das war nicht besonders schlimm, es könnte aber bitte dran gedacht werden, überall Staub zu putzen. (Bitte nicht als ganz negative Kritik verstehen.)

Die Zimmer sind von außen einsehbar, es gibt aber Rollos.

The location is on a side street right off the main highway for easy access. Although it isn't in the woods, the Lodge is within walking distance to hiking trails in the Pacific Rim National Park. Glenn and his wife Dianna are the gracious hosts. They stayed in communication with us both before and during our stay. Glenn has lived in the area for several decades and was able to direct us for activities and good places to eat. They took a very easy going approach to our party of six. The three rooms we had were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Although there wasn't a formal lobby, Glenn let us know that they were avaialble 24/7 via a bell at the office door. We also communicated via text during the day.

Really, the only thing that took place was that one evening one of our three rooms did not have hot water. By morning the hot water was back. Otherwise the stay was great. We would go back again if we are ever in the area.

We arrived at the hotel a little bit earlier than the check-in time and we were very tired, but the owner kindly let us in. I really appreciated it. The room was very cozy with a comfortable bed, and the entire space was clean. The location was easily accessible from the city. I will definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Ucluelet!

De kamer die wij geboekt hadden was ruim. Was ook net gerenoveerd zei de eigenaar.

De locatie valt wat tegen, het zit op een soort van industrieterrein. Kamer heeft enkel rolgordijnen, die overigens erg doorschijnend zijn. Privacy is hierdoor ver te zoeken. Mensen van andere kamers lopen steeds langs de kamer.

We enjoyed the patios, private feel, and clean area.

We specifically booked the room with the soaker tub to enjoy and nice bath. The hot water ran out before we could fill the tub, which was disappointing. Also there’s a window right by the tub which we thought would be great to look out as we relaxed, but other guests have the ability to walk right past that window any time, so we had to keep it closed.

Das Zimmer war schön und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Die Lage ist sehr gut und Restaurants etc. sind gut zu erreichen. Glenn und Dianna sind sehr gute Gastgeber und sehr bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Der einzige Nachteil ist die Hellhörigkeit der Unterkunft, was zweifelsfrei der Bauweise geschuldet ist. Leider hatten wir in der ersten Nacht sehr laute Nachbarn über uns, aber am nächsten Tag konnten wir das Zimmer wechseln was die Übernachtungsqualität verbessert hat.

Lage in Industriegebiet, aber ruhig, Zugang zu oberen Zimmern über viele Stufen außen, Bett extrem hoch, man braucht fast einen Tritt. Zu teuer, wenig individuell, ein wenig"gehümpft, aber nicht gesprungen".

Die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit. Es gab nur ein stumpfes Messer im Zimmer und kein Geschirrhandtuch. Im Wasserkocher war noch das Wasser vom Vormieter mit lebenden Kulturen...

Missing a proper table and chairs to work with my laptop. Switching to a Nespresso coffee machine would also be awesome ! The shower head of the bathtub barely had any pressure, making it impossible to use. Curtains are transparent when light is on and it's the night. Would also be useful to have cans opener.

Guest House was easy to find. The room was very clean, well appointed with little touchs like coffee, tea, utensils, fridge. Glenn, the owner, was very helpful with information. Highly recommended.

The hospitality was great by the owner and property was close to where we wanted to be and do.

Had a decent tv and the French Open of tennis was on. Glenn gave us very good advice on where to eat. Dianna helpfully gave us a big bag of ice. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The cost was $250 for night two $350 for night one. Booked night two first. Lots of steps to the rooms. Outdoors was spectacularly ugly full of faded plastic flowers. The hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate.
