Central and newly renovated apartment for rent

Die Schlüsselübergabe konnte nicht stattfinden, da an den avisierten Orten kein Schlüssel war und der Eigentümer nicht erreichbar war. So mussten wir eine alternative Unterkunft wählen. Bis heute kam auf meine Beschwerde weder vom Vermieter noch von booking eine Antwort.

The location is ok, quite near the sherpa steps.

It was very hard to reach the owners. We arrived at 19:30 and there were no bed for children as was promised. No one answered the phone number given by booking (it is a number of one restaurant and even the restaurant didn't answer). We accidentally came across the person who was reponsible of the apartment (not sure was she even aware that we are suppose to be there) and got the bed and other promised things at 23:00. Anyway, the apartment was quite dirty and dusty, almost all the furniture were broken or worn, the shower closet door was broken, the sewer was clogged and the kitchen utensils were worn (there were only one teflon coated pan, which was burnt out). There are no closets nor coat racks and other things promised in the description are missing as well. And there is a family living upstairs, which was not mentioned. We got some new kitchen utensils during our stay. In all, the apartment is not super bad but you don't get value for the money you are paying for it.

Wir waren leider enttäuscht von der Unterkunft. Der Schlüssel war bei unserer Ankunft nicht wie vereinbart deponiert, sodass wir mit zwei müden Kindern erst einmal vor dem Haus warten mussten. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ deutlich zu wünschen übrig: Die Wohnung war staubig, auf den Stühlen lagen noch Krümel, und Fenster sowie Spiegel waren sichtbar verschmutzt – durch die Sonne war das besonders gut zu sehen. Der Geschirrspüler war noch voll und nicht ausgeräumt. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt: Bei der Dusche fehlte eine Tür, sodass man sie nicht richtig schließen konnte. Insgesamt hat die Unterkunft unsere Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt.

Spacious, warm, well equipped, good wifi, handy location to walk to cathedral and into city centre

No instructions in the property itself eg wifi information, what to do with rubbish etc. shower curtain was torn and stuck together with sticky tape, fridge not working properly when we got there. We had to fiddle with settings , then it was fine.

The apartment is clean, spacious, and recently renovated, having modern finishes and a fresh atmosphere. A charming fireplace make cold evening much nicer. Firewood and firelighter were provided by the owner which was very nice.

The apartment has only one bathroom with a shower and toilet, which was quite challenging for our group of six. Additionally, the provided towels were insufficient—only six small. Owner promised will provide more but didn't happen.

- The location was great! It was near the cable car and the Arctic Cathedral. Also, when we went for hunting the aurora borealis, we were on the right side. We didn’t have to take the bridge. - The appartement was very comfortable and spacious. - There’s a supermarket near the house. - The owner of the house was very nice and amicable.

- Not enough light in the living room - A cupboard in the bedrooms to store the clothes.

Beautiful apartment right next to eurospar and bus stop to the city and airport.. The cable car is just a 10 min walk and arctic cathedral is just down the road! Warm and great facilities! Absolutely loved it

Amazing apartment with lots of space and great facilities. Warm and cosy with comfortable beds. Easy to get to from the airport on the number 26 bus and a shop just down the road. Highly recommended

Cozy and clean apartment, we loved this place.

Newly renovated, new furniture and kitchenware, nice, quiet, squeaky clean and spacious. Beds were well arranged and comfortable. Excellent for self-catering, the nearest supermarket was just 3min walk. Not a lot of restaurants nearby, but it was just a quick drive or bus ride to the main city area. Only 10min walk from the cable car to the Utsiktspunkt viewpoint and 9min walk to the Arctic Cathedral the other way. Very quick and responsive host. The wifi didn’t work the first night but the host followed up several times with the service provider and got it fixed finally. Own free parking space was available which was very important, where parking was expensive in Norway.

Clean, spacious and the lady staff was very helpful and friendly to help resolve the issues with wifi, and gave us a souvenir magnet of cloudberries.

The walls are not very soundproof; we could hear footsteps the whole evening from the people living upstairs, but it did stop at night when it was bedtime so it was fine.

First of all we arrived earlier - I phoned the host and he send over the cleaning lady which made it possible for us to check in within another 45 minutes waiting time. The appartment is for sale and obviously decorated and furnished for this reason. Kitchen and bedrooms were great - also the living room.

You cant turn off the lights in the bathroom - so we had to put a pillow into the window that nobody can see/watch you. My bedroom had one big double and a single bed in it .. but no reading lights. Unfortunatly the WIFI didnt work at all (also then not the TV because that relied on the connection) The host didnt pick up the phone and didnt answer my textmessages. So thankfully again to the cleaning lady next door - she sorted via phone out the WIFI connection and saved our day. She should get a pay rise for what she did.

Great Location. Close to Supermarket, Bus stop, walking distance to city view point and downtown.

No WiFi, No internet connection and No TV during my 3 nights stay

Not having enough kitchen supplies to support daily cooking. There is a problem with the TV screen display.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Good location, quiet neighbourhood and very close to the Arctic Cathedral. Will highly recommend!

You get way above average value for your money. Huge place, extra well equipped, very nice little garden, easy to reach by car. The host was very kind and flexible. I definitely would choose the same place again in Tromso.

The toilet and the shower are not separated.

Nicely renovated apartment with good amenities near bus stop and grocery store.

Place is huge, well equipped and beautiful. Host is very friendly. It is easy to visit with a car. There is a supermarket just around the corner.
