Localización frente a una playa preciosa. El personal muy atento y amable, buen desayuno. Delante hay un supermercado grande y muchos restaurantes justo a la costa.

Al estar al lado de la calle principal, se oye el paso de los coches, pero muy soportable. El wc pequeño, para 1 noche bien

Absolut unsicher. Man konnte über die Treppe das Appartement betreten und man konnte die Schlafzimmertür nicht anschließen. Die Küchenzeile war teilweise sehr schmutzig, am Hauseingang sammelte sich der extrem stark riechende Müll. Die Fenster sind nicht abgedichtet, man kann den Finger zwischen Fenster und Wand stecken - leider verläuft die Hauptstraße zum Schlafzimmer.

Purtroppo la struttura al mio arrivo, 9 agosto era chiusa. Il proprietario gentilissimo dopo averlo contattato per telefono ha detto di spingere il cancello ed entrare ma la struttura era abbandonata a se stessa (probabilmente perchè bassa stagione). Niente asciugamani, l'aria condizionata non funzionante, una porta rotta e una bloccata, abbandonato.Quindi risulta tutto invalutabile. Se non la gentilezza dell'host che mi ha comunque concesso la cancellazione gratuita nonostante i tempi scaduti.

The biggest selling point about this hotel is the location. It is right on Dewatta beach, with immediate access to all-day beginner waves. This is exactly why we booked the hotel and for the price, it is a great option. The staff were also very friendly and the breakfast was good.

There were some quite significant issues. First, the room isn't secure at all - if this was our first night in Sri Lanka this might've been a reason to leave early. The budget room option can be accessed quite easily from the common staircase, and there is no working lock on the actual bedroom door. This should be an easy fix, and I'd really recommend the hotel makes changes here. Having said that we had no issues. Secondly, there are a serious amount of ants in the hotel, eating area and room - we've stayed in many places in Sri Lanka and never seen anything like it. This meant we spent most of our time in the place next door. Other problems include there being no wifi at all (despite having it listed), the aircon / fan not working to cool the room down properly (the external wall is being pelted by the sun all afternoon, and it gets very hot. In the night it wasn't too bad though.), and the bed being rock hard.

I tried reaching out to them multiple times to tell them that I will reach at 2 in the morning as my flight was late, but there was no answer. They called me at 1, when I was only an hour away from the property, that they will not be able to check me in and nobody is available at the property now. I had to frantically look for a different hotel at night and pay a premium for instant booking. Horrible experience.

The place its abandoned, full of bugs, no safety at all as you can’t really lock or save your things properly , I am surprised by the reviews I saw previously, a total scam, bad communication, the WiFi there is non existent, the air-con doesn’t work properly and in such a hot weather it was horrible, everything is dirty and the street noise is unbearable we didn’t sleep at all. Honestly not worth anything, there wasn’t even anyone else in the building, this was the worst experience we had in so many months traveling.

The staff are very friendly, and the food and beverages are excellent. The beach view is beautiful, and the location is perfect. Highly recommended

The beach view, location and the amenities were good. It was a great little room for the price. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was yummy.

The AC unit was not enough for the room, it was really hot despite it running at 16°. The bathroom was clean but a little small. The parking was definitely an issue as the location is right by the road and in front of a pedestrian crossing so parking by the road was not very convenient.

Отличное место, отличные завтраки на выбор, отличное расположение - на самом пляже! Из номера выходишь на веранду кафе, кафе с отличной обстановкой и супер-видом на океан - что можно еще желать на отдыхе! Номер отличный, большой, кондиционер работает, 2 балкона (на улицу и океан). Из небольших минусов - шум улицы и муравьишки, которые находят тропинку к любой еде - но это нам не мешало. Пляж отличный, но нужно иметь ввиду, что это один из лучших пляжей для начинающих серферов (я встала на доску в первый раз! Ура!!!), поэтому при каждом отеле есть серфы на прокат и инструкторы, очень недорого. Но в океане весь горизонт в дрейфующих и мчащихся серферах. Это очень красиво, но без доски (без серфа плавающих в океане людей - не более 15%) иногда возникает волнение: не затопчут ли тебя в воде эти серферы начинающие))) Недалеко Унаватуна (тук-тук 600 рупий), Джангл бич с обезьянками и без волн - можно пешком 2 км (тук-тук 1000 рупий),, алкомаркет по пути (1 км). Место отличное и колоритное, очень понравилось. Спасибо вам!

Comfortable bed. Good a/c and fan, mosquito net. Good shower. Clean. Cheap price for location. Reason I gave it this high score….. However…….

I’m really not sure if this place is up for accommodation rental. I arrived and no record of my booking. The ‘apartment’ does have a kitchen, but only a kettle, cups and glasses. Just like a motel unit. No fridge, cutlery, plates, bowls, hotplate, microwave etc etc, totally unusable as a kitchen. Door to kitchen area had key broken in lock so not lockable. Supposed to part of the ‘apartment’ Door to room lockable but the whole door is falling to pieces, was worried I was going to be locked inside as inside handle comes off and aluminium frame of door is coming apart. Nowhere to report it to on departure, see below. I ordered breakfast for the first morning, was told due to Public holiday only available at 9 am, fair enough. Arrived at 9am, told it would be another 20 mins -had ordered day before. Next morning didn’t even bother, luckily. Everything totally closed up at 9am. Nowhere to return key to, had lovely breakfast next door in local area and caught up with friends, returned at 9 am to return keys, everything still locked up and staff asleep under stairs…. Had to leave key in door - 9am. I feel it’s a surf school and restaurant and the accommodation is really not a functioning thing.

der weg zum strand

es war nicht sauber. es hat sehr modrig gerochen. auf dem bettlaken war ein blutfleck. bei der dusche kam nur ganz wenig und sehr heißes wasser raus, als wir dies angesprochen haben, hieß es in 15 Min. bekommen wir hilfe. Nach 2 Stunden war immernoch niemand da. Am Tag darauf ging die Dusche nicht mehr und wir mussten in der Toilette des restaurants duschen…

The location was right at the beach front. It is perfect for learning to surf.

Friendly staff

Un séjour exceptionnel ! La chambre était tout simplement incroyable, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Le personnel est aux petits soins et réactif : la climatisation est tombée en panne et, en moins de 30 minutes, un réparateur était déjà intervenu. La nourriture au restaurant de l’hôtel est excellente et très propre : aucun risque pour les touristes, les glaçons sont faits avec de l’eau minérale et le poisson est d’une fraîcheur irréprochable. J’ai également adoré le personnel, qui m’a gentiment fait découvrir leur culture en m’emmenant assister à une cérémonie dans un temple. De loin le meilleur hôtel que j’ai fait depuis longtemps. Je recommande à 100 % !

The apartment is a whole floor of the building with a kitchenette and balcony and nice bathroom. The balcony in the room looks out over the street and the balcony from the kitchenette looks over the ocean. There’s a restaurant right down stairs and all the staff are lovely. There were ants in the bed but they didn’t bother us. There isn’t much around the place but we were here in low season.

Jedná se o malý hotýlek se dvěma apartmány hned u moře. V přižení se nachází restaurace, takže nemusíte chodit nikam daleko. Tím, že je na pokoji malá kuchyňka, tak si můžete užít ranní čaj v soukromí s výhledem na moře.

O apartmány se starají mladí kluci, kteří pracuji dole v restauraci. Po našem příjezdu ještě nebyl pokoj uklizen, i když jsme přijeli v čase check-inu. Pokoj byl pěkný čistý, jen zapomněli uklidit koš a dát nám čisté ručníky. Kluci byli trochu zmatení, ale to všechno bych dokázala přehlédnout nebýt snídaně. Byl to poslední den před odjezdem z dovolené, po snídani jsme měly naplánovaný odjezd na letiště. Večer se nás obsluha 2x ptala, jakou si dáme snídani a oznámili nám čas snídaně 8-9. V 8:20 jsme tedy sešly z apartmánu do restaurace a zažily jsme šok! Pod schody spali na podlaze všichni čtyři kluci, restaurace byla zamčená a neuklizená, všude byly zbytky jídla a prázdné lahve od alkoholu z předchozího dne. Naštěstí se nám podařilo jednoho kluka vzbudit. Samozřejmě vůbec netušil, co jsme si předchozí den objednávaly. Objednaly jsme si černý čaj, ale po 30 minutách nám přinesl kávu, po reklamaci přinesl čaj, ale s mlékem. Obsluhu s řádnou kocovinou jsme musely uhánět, abychom stihly odjezd na letiště. 50 minut jsme čekaly na jeden párek, omeletu a tousty, které nebyly ani ohřáté. Nemam nic proti zábavě. Ale pokud někdo pracuje v hotelu, tak by mohl být alespoň jeden člověk zodpovědný a postarat se o ubytované hosty.

Breakfast was great and the location, value for money, stuff also great. Can highly recommended for someone who are looking for budgeted location with great service

El baño "privado" pero accesible a quien quiera ir, además, para acceder hay que pasar por zonas comunes. - Habitación super RUIDOSA, la ventana sin sellar. - Desayuno INCOMPLETO y SIN PERSONAL. Había un adolescente a cargo de todo. - Hemos estado muy DESATENDIDOS y desamparados por el personal (no han cumplido horario, hemos tenido que estar nosotros pendiente del check-in y el check-out...) .

The room was good for a budget double room. Bed was nice. The location was very nice at the beach.

We were quite disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, the staff didn’t really engage with us — they just brought our luggage to the room and that was it. We had booked a room with breakfast included, but when we came downstairs around 9 AM, the restaurant was closed and the staff were still sleeping. When we asked about breakfast, we were told we should have ordered it the day before — something that was never communicated to us. Eventually, they gave us 1000 rupees back, although it was clear they didn’t really agree with doing so. Overall, the lack of communication and service left us with a poor impression.

The location was amazing. For a budget room, the place was huge. The host Osanda was an amazing guy. Their food was also excellent. The restaurant view was amazing to behold.

Room doors with problem an AC did not work

Wir haben den Deluxe Room erhalten, welcher nur über eine Treppe mit anschließendem Balkon zu erreichen ist. Der Zugang von der Treppe zum Balkon konnte nicht verschlossen werden. Für die Türe zum Vorraum des Zimmers haben wir auch nach Nachfrage keinen Schlüssel erhalten. Zu den Zimmern konnte man sowohl von der Straße als auch vom Strand gelangen, da sämtliche Türen nicht abgeschlossen waren. Der versprochene Security ist auch nicht erschienen. Wir hatten zuvor mal angefragt, ob es eine Party wegen des Singhalesischen Neujahrs gibt. Uns wurde gesagt, dass eine Party stattfinden wird. Vor Ort war jedoch niemand außer wir. Der Manager hat uns dann auf eine Privatparty zu sich eingeladen. Als das Paar unter uns (die Schlüssel für ihre eigenen Türen hatten) die Unterkunft aus Sicherheitsgründen verlassen haben, entschieden wir uns auch dazu die Unterkunft zu verlassen. Das Geld für die Übernachtungen haben wir vor Ort gelassen und dem Manager Bescheid gesagt.

Unterkunft direkt am Strand, für den Preis definitiv wert, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal.

Die Klimaanlage hat leider nicht durchgehend funktioniert - die Besitzer haben sich aber so schnell wie's ging darum gekümmert. Durch die Lage direkt an der Straße leider sehr hellhörig und im Zimmer kaum Regale oder ähnliches, um seine Kleidung ausbreiten zu können.

First trip to Sri Lanka for myself & my partner and what an absolutely awesome place to enjoy the amazing beach whilst being looked after by the crew there. Wonderful food & cocktails. Thanks in particular to Randunu. Will definitely stay again when we return.

We had a big room, with small room like kitchen with a cooker and also 2 balconies. The hotel is located directly on the beach and offers free surf boards for guests, which we really enjoyed. The food of its own restaurant is fantastic and everyone of the staff is very attentive and kind. You could have really good conversations with everyone especially one guy and the owner of the hotel and they helped us immediately with everything we needed. So all in all we had a very great time here. Thank you ! See you next time

The owner made an appearance, was drunk, tipped a drink over me by accident,was very rude, rude to his staff, a bit of a bell end really! The doors on the rooms didn't close properly so our balcony door was constantly open, every day nextdoor would burn leaves and our room would fill up with smoke, one day our main door lock broke and they smashed it in with a screwdriver and hammer and didn't fix it, we left a day early because of the annoyingness of everything!

The rooms were very spacious and had a big comfy bed! We had a little kitchen (without a stove) and a balcony on either side of the room. (One towards the road and one towards the beach) The beach was directly infront of the stay and you can rent a surfboard for 500 rps/hour. The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious! Fresh fish every day!

The road was super loud, especially in the morning and woke us up really early. If you plan to chill in a quiet room, then this is not your place. But if you decide to go surfing and are out during the day this is a super location and stay!

Tolles großes Zimmer mit bequemen Bett, Klimaanlage und Ventilator. Eigene Küche vorne dran und von dort aus freier Blick aufs Meer. Bemühtes Personal die auch Surfstunden oder Fahrer vermitteln. Nette Bar mit Musik bis 23 Uhr.

Geduld braucht man schon. Das Personal ist bemüht, spricht aber zumeist kein oder kaum Englisch und alles dauert immer nur noch 5 Minuten. Vielleicht eher etwas für den Ende des Urlaubs und nicht für den Anfang - sonst macht einen das ständige Warten und an den nächsten verwiesen werden zu fertig. Die Straße ist im Bad schon gut zu hören. Und das Bad von außen verschließbar zu machen wäre sicher eine gute Idee.

Tolles Personal und direkt am Strand

Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht ganz. Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und die Schallisolierung funktioniert nur so halb. Gibt in der Gegend schönere Orte und Strände Leider kleines Insektenproblem (Ameisen)

Very convenient. Closer to most of the sightings in Galle. Right infront of the beach and since the restaurant is attached to the place of accommodation you can easily get a quick bite with a beautiful view. Staff is very friendly. Absolutely worth for the price since we had wonderful breakfast as well on BB Basis. Can easily get pick me to the location and staff is absolutely friendly and helpful.

The poke ball from the restaurant was the only dish I had from there which was not into my liking.

Die direkte Lage am schönen Strand. Das mega tolle Essen und das sehr nette und aufmerksame Personal. Unser Zimmer war nicht bezugsfertig aber der Besitzer hat uns sofort eine tolle Alternative für die erste Nacht zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr Gut.

Die Zimmer liegen direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße. Für Menschen mit leichten Schlaf nicht geeignet. Das Wasser kommt sehr spärlich. Im großen ganzen aber ok.

The food was great and the location was so beautiful that we did not feel the time going by until sunset. The room had a great view of the beach.
