La recamara es excelente, muy cómoda la cama, tiene sistema de extracción en el baño lo que evita malos olores, esta muy bien equipada la cocina, y en general bonita y super comoda la recamara, la ubicación es muy buena, a unos cuantos pasos de la quinta avenida, me guardaron el equipaje aunque como tal no es un servicio que ofrecen

Si quieres reservar el hotel por la vista y la playa este no es tu hotel, las habitaciones dan mas bien a los cuartos de enfrente, la piscina es pequeña y el área para estar enfrente del mar también es pequeña, no habia gente y por eso no estuvo mal, pero yo creo que con un poco de ocupacion si debe ser un poco incomodo.

Loved the hammock right outside the sliding door. The beds were comfortable. Walking distance to the main walking area with restaurants with a longer walk to the Cozumel ferry but very doable.

Hammock and nothing else

The door didn’t lock, so naturally the solution was to move me to a worse room. The new room came with filthy, stained curtains, a fridge that sounded like a tractor on a quiet harvest day, and half-drunk sodas left behind by previous guests. And because apparently that wasn’t enough, a family of raccoons regularly visited the balcony, meaning keeping the door open was not exactly an option. As for communication, accountability, and responsiveness from reception — those seem to be available only in theory. Overall, an impressive combination of poor maintenance, questionable cleanliness, and complete indifference. A truly memorable stay, just not for the reasons you’d hope.

La habitacion tenia todo para pasar una estancia agradable en todas las areas , la recamara muy comoda y amplia , la cocina con todo lo necesario para ir en familia y super limpio todo el lugar!!

The property is situated on the beach and the particular unit seemed far enough away from the nearby nightlife so that you could hear the waves and surf at night. There are neighboring restaurants and fishing boats where you can go out, catch a fish, and come back to have it prepared and eaten right on the beach. Fantastic.

TOUT ! l’hôtel est super bien situé, à quelques pas de l'avenue centrale de Playa Del Carmen. la chambre à 2 était parfaite, donnant sur la cour, au calme! ménage fait tous les jour, mise à dispo d'une fontaine d'eau de source était un vrai plus. et les serviettes de piscine/plage à volonté (on pouvait sortir avec de l’hôtel pour se rendre à la plage la plus proche - Mamita's Beach ~magnifique à 10min à pieds). La piscine de l'hotel très propre aussi. on a vraiment passé un super séjour. et grâce aux personnes de l’accueil, on a réservé via l’hôtel une excursion catamaran pour Isla Mojeres ! je recommande vraiment!

je mets une note de 9 pour la plage de l’hôtel, c'est plus pour se relaxer sur le transat que pour se baigner. sinon, le reste était parfait

Just off the main strip of playa del Carmen, great access to everything. Room was plenty big enough and a good little kitchenette.

The room, view, staff and their service was excellent. The laundry service is also great! The cleanliness is ok, except the utensils drawers and dusty plates. Enjoyed our stay here.

The only complaint I have is that I found a dead cockroach in the cutlery drawer. The plates were dusty too.

It was as the photos represented, cried by the beach, nice pool for cooling off. Staff was excellent, clean room very nicely each night. Very accommodating. So close to. 5ta Avevida night life and restaurants but quiet for sleeping. Can hear the ocean, but the beach wasn’t clean due to sargassum but that’s out of their control.

Initially they said in the visitors had to pay a $30 day pass to use any of the facilities like the pool or balcony, but cannot enter the room. Van did not make sense to me, but they actually were accommodating.

La chambre était joliment décorée et fonctionnelle. Terrasse agréable et plutôt spacieuse. L'hôtel est joli avec plein de plantes. La piscine est sympa.

Le sol de la chambre était assez sale. Il y avait de l'eau par terre. Une grande bâche bleue se trouvait juste devant une des fenêtres de la chambre. Et il n'y a pas eut d'eau chaude durant tout le séjour. Malheureusement, et ceci n'a rien à voir avec l'hôtel, mais nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la petite plage devant l'hôtel car il y avait des tonnes de sargasses et l'odeur était difficilement supportable ... même de notre terrasse, il était difficile de rester dehors.

Un hotel que superó mis expectativas, muy limpio, cómodo, el personal atento y una ubicación muy céntrica, había leído comentarios de que está cerca de antros y que el ruido era molesto, en lo personal no hubo molestia de ningún tipo.

Si vas para descanso (solo en camastros) es fenomenal, ya que no tiene acceso a la playa, el hotel se encuentra en área de rocas y embarcadero, pero aún con eso, yo volvería.

La habitacion muy bonita la hubicación del hotel tambien es genial, a dos pasos de la 5 avenida.

El Sargazo que fastidiaba el acceso a la playa y el mal olor que desprende. Pero bueno, no es culpa del hotel, es la Naturaleza en estado puro.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet hôtel, la chambre était spacieuse avec un grand dressing, de quoi cuisiner un minimum, au moins pour le petit déjeuner. Il y avait une fontaine à eau minérale dans la chambre gratuite et un sèche cheveux ! La chambre est nettoyée tous les jours et des serviettes de bain pour la plage à disposition. Le personnel très agréable, mention spéciale au gardien de nuit trop rigolo. On peut également noter le calme du lieu malgré la proximité avec les différents bars de nuits. Ainsi que la localisation à deux pas de la cinquième avenue très fréquentée.

Le seul bémol était l’accès plage super mignon mais rempli de sargasses qui n’étaient pas retirées donc avec la chaleur et l’humidité il y avait une forte odeur assez nauséabonde.

Great location - right next to 5th Avenue shops but not too close that you hear loud noises ect at night! lovely little private beach and the room was clean and well presented.

La gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel (merci beaucoup Alfredo pour les conseils), la propreté et la chambre. Petite plage sympa, dommage qu'on ne puisse pas se baigner à cet endroit. Mais d'autres plages sont proches.

O Hotel tem uma perfeita localização, ficando próximo a principal rua de Playa. As pessoas, principalmente o Afonso, foram extremamente receptivos, dando dicas de onde visitar e o que comer. O Café da manhã todas as vezes que pedimos estava perfeito e eram entregues pontualmente. Com toda certeza iremos voltar!!

The bed was comfortable. Other than the really bad beachfront, the location was amazing. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

The beach is non-existent and the pool was mediocre. There were kids everywhere and the hammocks on the balconies need to be replaced. They tried to charge us for a stain on the bed that was there when we checked in. We didn't think it was a very big deal and didn't mention it but there was a $30 charge on our bill when we checked out that we had to dispute.

Our hammock didn't really work; it was strung too narrow. Also you should know that the beach out front is just a bit of stand with trees and chairs - it's a nice view, but not a full beach.

Mooie kamer met balkon. Fijn bed, goede douche. Elke middag als we terug kwamen was de kamer weer netjes en schoon. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kookstelletje leek niet te werken en na vraag aan het personeel kwamen ze gelijk in actie om het op te lossen. Kitchenette aanwezig met wat keukengerei. Eigenlijk heb je alles wat je nodig hebt. Strandbedjes bij het water waar wij veel gezeten hebben. Is een fijn plekje.

- Gordijnen waren oud en niet echt schoon. Deze zou ik vervangen. - Er was niet echt een fijn mes aanwezig om groenten mee te snijden. - Het hotel zit aan het strand, maar het is jammer dat je niet echt het water in kan om te zwemmen.

Very nice location in heart of playa so close to Quinta avenida. But on the water so when in hotel it feels like an oasis. We had a fantastic view and great kitchen.

I loved the balcony and the cool built-in "sofa" in my room. Great to have a kitchenette. Super comfortable bed & pillows. And perhaps the nicest thing was the 5 gallon drinking water "cooler" in the kitchen. So thoughtful and unexpected.

The staff and the view are nice. It was quiet and cozy enough. The cleaning lady was practicing her origami skills on new towels every time she cleaned the room. The cleaning was done early in a day and properly. A/C and ventilator were good. The hut roofs, white walls, rustic design and a small 'arboretum' with tropical trees in the main area were a vibe.

The balcony rail is a bit low all across the suites. We felt it was too low for someone with kids on vacation in this property; even adults could tip over. My partner was using the hammock on the balcony until the hammock somehow dislocated from the hook. So we did not feel this was a safe securing of hammocks as well. The breakfast is not included. The pillows were a bit too flat. They gave us only one key which is not typical for a hotel. The swimming pool - although nice - is a bit too small and with no places to sit around it. We would like to suggest to expand a kitchen by loosing a closet that is attached right next to it. For a closet, the adjacent locker/walk-in closet could be enough. Stairs were painted evenly (without accent color at the edges) so that could be a tripping hazard.

Posizione eccellente A due passi dal centro, comodissima per ristoranti, negozi e passeggiate serali, ma allo stesso tempo silenziosa e riparata dal rumore. Si sente praticamente solo il mare: un equilibrio davvero raro da trovare. Camere funzionali e ben organizzate Abbiamo apprezzato molto la presenza del frigorifero (anche se un po’ rumoroso), dell’angolo cottura pratico e della macchinetta del caffè — per noi italiani un vero “salvavita”! Il balcone è un grande valore aggiunto: spazioso, con tavolo, sedie e amaca, perfetto per rilassarsi o mangiare con vista mare. Area spiaggia piacevole Anche se al momento non è possibile fare il bagno a causa dei sacchi posizionati prima dell’acqua, la zona resta molto gradevole. I lettini permettono di rilassarsi, leggere e prendere il sole in totale tranquillità. Colazione comoda e abbondante Non è inclusa, ma con 15 dollari a persona si può richiedere un’ottima colazione servita direttamente in camera: una soluzione molto pratica che abbiamo davvero apprezzato. Staff eccellente Un grazie speciale a Giudit per la disponibilità e la gentilezza. Una menzione particolare a Carlos, che si occupa delle escursioni: sempre sorridente, cordiale e disponibile. Le escursioni acquistate tramite lui sono state organizzate benissimo e a prezzi più competitivi rispetto ai tanti stand in città. Un vero valore aggiunto per la struttura.

Asciugacapelli poco potente, alternativa non disponibile in reception. In bagno è presente il classico phon piccolo a muro, non molto performante. Sarebbe utile avere almeno un phon più potente disponibile in reception su richiesta, soprattutto in caso di temperature insolitamente basse come quelle che abbiamo trovato (tra 11 e 20 gradi). Coerenza tra foto e camera assegnata La camera ricevuta non corrispondeva esattamente alle immagini viste al momento della prenotazione. Il soggiorno è stato comunque piacevole, ma una maggiore coerenza tra foto e sistemazioni reali renderebbe l’esperienza ancora più impeccabile.

Loved this quaint boutique hotel! The staff was really nice, our room was cute and you cannot beat the location of the hotel.

Would have been nice to have a beach access from the hotel, but public beaches were only a short walk away, so it wasn't an issue.

Además la cama estaba muy cerca de la puerta y cuando te queres levantar te ven todos los trabajadores que empiezan temprano, no hay privacidad, faltaba una cortina que la pedimos pero nunca la pusieron durante el tiempo que estuvimos.

Sehr schön gelegen mit Blick auf das Meer und den kleinen Pool. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg zur Partymeile war sehr kurz, dennoch war es sehr ruhig im Hotel. Frühstück war soweit gut, das Sandwich mit Ei und Bacon war klasse. Preis war auch okay. Auf dem Zimmer gab es eine nespresso Maschine. Vom Busbahnhof aus sind es nur rund 800 Meter und auch mit Koffern zu schaffen. Wir mussten das notgedrungen machen da ME-Transfer uns nicht am Flughafen abgeholt hat. Fahrkarten kann man am ADO-Schalter im Flughafen kaufen.

Beautiful, comfortable and well cared for hotel. We felt safe and welcomed. A block from the craziest, loudest clubs yet we didn’t hear a single noise with the doors closed, so very soundproof. Fantastic water pressure, great little kitchenette, thoughtfully decorated. Lots of closet space, shelving and hangers to unpack and feel settled. Wonderful balcony with lovely views of the well cared for plant life and sea views for most rooms. Lovely, friendly staff. Really cute little hotel all around. I’d happily recommend it to others.

Unfortunately erosion has hit PDC really badly across the whole town over the last few years. The photos should be updated to show that there is absolutely no “beach” left, except for a sandy area where you can lay on beach beds, while the waves crash against a new rocky retaining wall. Thankfully there are swimmable public beaches a few minutes walk away in either direction.

Un tout petit inconvénient, absence de parking a l'hôtel. Il y a toujours de la place pour se garer a proximité ou même devant mais parcmètre obligatoire, 10 pesos ( 0.50€ ) de l'heure de 10h a 22h.

Carlos and the night guard (didn’t catch his name) were awesome! All the people we came in contact with were super friendly and helpful. The property was quiet and a block away from the strip. An incredibly walkable area! We felt safe the entire trip!

The beach left something to be desired. But it proved to be an awesome place to watch pelicans dive into the water. Not a place for swimming but gorgeous views and access to fishing boats.

I feel as though I have discovered something rare and precious. The Playa Palms Beach Hotel is easily my favourite independent hotel at which I’ve stayed while in Mexico. The staff were not only exceptionally professional and welcoming, but also friendly, discreet, and easy going. The room was clean, aesthetically pleasing, the courtyard visually appealing, and with the lovely palms reaching above my second floor suite (205) it felt secluded, despite being open to the courtyard. The balcony was charming, quiet, and though I didn’t use the hammock, it gave a great beach vibe and I intend to use it next time. The water pressure is heavenly. The nearly instant, and consistent hot water is the best I’ve experienced in Mexico, including a room at another four star hotel (a chain) that cost three times the nightly rate of the Playa Palms. If my shower had a waterfall head to go with the wand it would exceed the quality of the five star hotel in Cancun at which I stayed the previous night, which cost over six times the rate. The Playa Palms is an excellent value; I cannot overstate this aspect. I’ve stayed in a dozen or so hotels like this in multiple Mexican cities and for the price you will not find anything better. It is cute, warm, homey, and I will definitely return. The Playa Palms is the kind of place you could easily live out of for weeks, and I hope to do so as soon as possible. I highly recommend.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning on the balcony. Suite was super clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive throughout the whole stay.

Bed was a little uncomfortable.

długa lista, w zasadzie brak plaży, pokój z widokiem na morze okazał się pokojem w głębi hotelu, gdzie kątem oka wychodząc na balkon widać morze. Personel zachowuje się jak policja, przyszli do nas znajomi, o 12 w nocy przyszedł szef ochrony informując że albo wychodzi albo musimy zapłacić za ekstra osobę 30 usd. Zapłaciliśmy ale było to żenujące tym bardziej że była to noc sylwestrowa. Poprosiliśmy o dodatkową kapsułkę do kawiarki, zapłąciliśmy 2 usd:)))

El hotel tiene una muy buena ubicación central y con playa. El personal atiende muy bien y amable. La habitación está bien implementada como un pequeño departamento, con platos y elementos para cocinar o calentar.
