Het was een heel ruim, comfortabel en schoon appartement met een prachtig uitzicht. Het personeel was ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was goed en uitgebreid!

Het duurde redelijk lang voordat het water in de douche warm was, maar dat was ook weer niet onoverkomelijk. Wellicht is het verder fijn om ook een spiegel te plaatsen op een andere plek in het appartement naast de badkamer, maar dat is persoonlijk.

Central location, easy to get to all the attraction’s. Staff helpful and friendly. The pool was a great addition, especially in the warmer weather. Stayed in a studio with Juliet balcony overlooking the street. Was great to sit with a coffee and people watch. Complementary port in the room a lovely touch.

Great location and very comfortable, the staff were generally very helpful and we will definitely stay again.

The only issue is that the hotel bar was not available to residents after 1900 which was a little disappointing - however it did not detract from the overall experience.

Der Hotel und die Lage sind wunderschön. Das sehr hilfsbereite Personal macht es zu einem wunderbaren Aufenthalt.

Lejligheden var rigtig fin og ren. Poolen var dog i den anden bygning overfor, men det var en hyggelig lille oase. Beliggenheden var rigtig god.

Desværre var lejligheden dårlig isoleret i forhold til lyd.

El alojamiento estuvo genial. La ubicación inmejorable, con unas vistas preciosas. A la habitación no le faltaba de nada, muy completa y nueva. El desayuno también fue muy variado. El personal del hotel nos acogió muy bien, João nos indicó todo lo necesario durante nuestra estancia. Repetiríamos sin duda.

Location was perfect. The views from our apartment were spectacular. The staff were hospitable and welcoming.

Les petits déjeuner étaient très copieux mais le système de portage de petit déjeuner ne permet pas de choisir nos préférences. Tous les matins nous recevions les mêmes choses en grande quantité. Cela gênerait beaucoup de gaspillage c'est dommage.

A su favor, señalar que los chicos empleados que allí trabajan, están dispuestos a ayudarte y enseguida te resuelven alguna duda que tengas. Hasta ahí. Lo siento, no habíamos tenido una experiencia así en la vida y eso que yo, concretamente viajo muchísimo cada año. No hay nada más que nos gustó.

Reseñar que: El edificio es muy antiguo, acceso en una calle muy vieja, escondida, aunque la ubicacion no es muy mala. La cercanía que dice tener respecto al río Duero, con bastante caminada de muchas pendientes importantes y escaleras continuadas. La piscina que dicen, es una bañera enana en una zona de 3 alturitas y con unas 11 hamacas distribuidas en esos 3 niveles. Una espacio muy reducido nada apetecible y que para nada se corresponde a las imagenes. Ni estuvimos allo. Al lado un pequeñito bar que hace para el alojamiento y piscinita y que además, no se lo pierdan, es la Recepción, que por cierto cierra a las 19 horas y por tanto tb. la piscina y barcito. Un espectáculo. El balcón que dice tener los Estudios, es ridículo, caben 2 sillitas estrechas y nada más, vieja la barandilla, como todo el dificio. Si poder usas dicho balcón. Al hacer el check-off y pedir nos guardasen las maletas, nos dicen que las dejemos allí, en el barcito, al aire libre, sin cerrar ni nada y que no nos preocupemos. Toda una odisea, Todo un engaño respecto a lo anunciado. No recomendamos a nadie que se aloje allí y por supuesto no hay restaurante ni comedor. Te sirven el desayuno en una bolsa que te dejan a las 08,30 h de la mañana fuera de tu habitación y ya desayunas tú dentro de la misma cuando la recojas. La habitación al llegar, en el baño, el inodoro tenía moho sin limpiar en la tapa, y una toalla de baño colgada tras la puerta, el balconcito ni se limpiaba, en fin, no continuo, pero podría hacerlo. Esta es nuestra valoración para quien quiera noticias de primera mano y no engaños ni fotos que animen a tener un alojamiento que no se corresponde.

Heel ruim appartement, we hadden ook een heel erg ruim terras. Het zwembad is een kleine oase midden in de stad! Lekker en veel ontbijt, in roomservice formule

Nagyon jó lokáció. Segítőkész, kedves személyzet, bőséges reggeli, amit reggelente az ajtó elé tettek. Jól felszerelt konyha mosogatógéppel, kávéfőzővel, stb. Mosógép is van.

Jó lenne a ruhaszárító, azt nem láttam, de lehet, hogy kérni kellett volna 🤔

Alles easy Reception besetzt. Alles wird erklärt wunderbares Restaurant bei der Rezeption unbedingt am Abend ausprobieren.

Excellent location in old town (tho beware if walking from public transport with luggage - very steep cobbled streets!). Apartment was spotlessly clean with ice cold air con & fairly well equipped.

I booked partly due to the pool but we didn’t actually use it as I didn’t realise we’d be in a building on the other side of the street.

A destacar la amabilidad del personal, nos ayudaron y facilitaron todo. Piscina con bar, apartamentos comodísimos con todo lo necesario en pleno centro de Oporto.

Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht zu toppen, man ist mittendrin in Porto und kann zu Fuß fast alles erkunden. Das Appartement ist sehr groß und hat alles was man braucht. Der Blick vom Balkon auf die Stadt ist sensationell, man kann mit einem Kaffee sitzen und einfach nur geniessen, vor allem, da das Frühstück an die Tür gebracht wird. Auch die kleine Poolanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Für einen Städtetrip ist das Hotel ideal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und danken dem gesamten Team für die schöne Zeit.

El apartamento no lo eliges, el que te asignan. No era ni en el edificio de la recepción (por llamarla de alguna forma) y la “piscina”, alberca más bien: debes cruzar la calle en bañador para ir al otro edificio. Deberían avisarlo. Habitación pequeña y salón también; abierto el sofá cama (4 adultos) se te queda en nada. Pequeño. Caro para lo que se ofrece. Pero es lo que hay

The location was good, the bar and pool were pleasant, apartment was spacious, although nowhere to put luggage, bed was comfortable.

A great location, walkable to all the sights. The room was big, bed was comfy, and I loved having breakfast delivered to my door each morning. The pool area was great to relax in the afternoon too. Staff were so friendly and helpful!! Would definitely stay here again if I return to Porto.

Das Appartement war wunderschön renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool eine Oase mitten in der Stadt. Komplettiert wurde das ganze durch ein großzügiges Frühstück, welches ins Appartement geliefert wurde. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, jederzeit sehr gerne wieder! Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt mitten in dieser trubligen Stadt. Das Personal war unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit.

Code provided to enter so no keys needed. Easy check in, pool was small but lovely with a great view. Room is very clean and quiet, had everything we needed - strong AC, fridge, awesome shower with good water pressure, wash and dryer in unit (what a surprise). Staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Free port wine and coffee in room. Location was also great- walking distance to everything and very close to a couple cool lookout spots with wonderful view of the city. Overall this place was perfect for our family. Highly recommended!

Great having a key code for the room, very handy having a kitchenette with a fridge, loved being able to pick up bottles of sparkling water as much as we liked, every day. Great location in the old town close to restaurants and bars.

We didn't realise how small the balcony was. Would have been useful to have a luggage rack.

A lot of thought and effort has gone into making Pipad’oro an unbeatable place to stay in Porto. I thought it good value, too. Perfect location to explore Porto from - close to the river bank and Pont Luis bridge yet also walking distance to Rebeiro’s sights. So much better than an hotel - the spacious apartment 2.2 came with a seating area, private balcony, cooker, fridge, microwave etc. Everything was very clean and fresh, including the bathroom. A room (on a high level) to the rear offers unbeatable views of the twinkling nighttime lights of the Port Warehouses across the Douro river and the terracotta roofs below. The real star is the pool - something quite rare in Porto centre, I think - and lounger area at the back. It’s an unbeatable mix of central city sightseeing but with the ability for a cool dip and sunbathe as well. Pool towels are available from reception. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The small bottle of complementary Port on arrival is a classy touch, as is the handwritten card. I checked in after reception had closed, at 9pm, and the instructions provided in advance were clear and easy (just don’t do what I did and go to one of the other PipaD’Oro buildings - it’s the red one you’re looking for, which admittedly they made very clear in the booking). WiFi, hot water air con, internet linked TV all worked well too. There’s also lift access to all floors (this is most welcome after the hills, steps and cobbles of Porto - my calves were sore upon returning home!)

La ubicación: muy céntrica, pero a la vez alejada del ruido. La piscina tiene bastantes tumbonas para descansar. La amabilidad del personal; Mariana es maravillosa y muy cortés. La amplitud de las habitaciones y el menaje de cocina. Buena lavadora y electrodomésticos.

La suciedad en general. La piscina estaba llena de arena y daba la sensación de no ser limpiada a menudo. El hecho de no estar en el edificio principal del hotel (no lo decía en la reserva). Había muchos pelos en la habitación y bastantes bichos.

Het zwembad was klein, dat wisten we maar de kinderen die erin waren hielden niet echt rekening met anderen. Het was warm dus was jammer dat ze het volledige zwembad opeisten.

The pool area was delightful, great view and nice to have a place to cool off and plenty of lounge seating. The room was comfortable and in a quiet, locals neighborhood, but close to many attractions, restaurants, etc.

Colchón duro, la luz del baño mala, no hay luz de espejo. Vistas a unas ruinas penosas y tétricas, lo que describían como un ‘patio’. Tienes que subir dos tramos de escaleras hasta llegar al ascensor. Las sartenes estaban almacenadas en una estantería a 3 metros, inalcanzables.

La habitación era amplia y estaban bien los servicios del hotel

Las camas requieren un cambio, los colchones demasiado usados y resultan incómodos

Lovely comfortable studio within walking distance to the centre. We were greeted by Joao who was very friendly, kind and informative. We had a great breakfast and Joao went above and beyond to provide a gluten free option. We would love to come and stay again.

Un super week-end ! Un endroit magnifique, très propre et un lit vraiment confortable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

La pulizia giornaliera : rifanno velocemente i letti, ritirano le pattumiere e buttano del detergente nel water, senza spazzare per terra nè pulire il lavandino e la doccia del bagno.

Ekstremt venligt og meget hjælpsomt personale. Central placering midt i Porto. Værelset med flodudsigt, som vi havde de sidste to overnatninger, var virkelig lækkert med fantastisk udsigt. Lækker morgenmad leveret til værelset hver dag.

Støj kan være en udfordring, da det er en meget gammel bygning i flere etager og derfor meget lydt imellem lejlighederne.

De service was perfect, vriendelijk personeel en het appartement was schoon ruim.

Het matras was wel een beetje hard en sommige kussens.

The pool was wonderful and the staff were great. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean.

Wunderbares Quartier in sehr zentraler Lage. Wir hatten ein geräumiges, sauberes Apartment mit Terrasse und genialem Blick auf den Douro. Jeden Morgen steht ein üppiges Frühstück vor der Tür, die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr engagiert, das Essen im Restaurant Barrica (Überraschungsmenü!) ist hervorragend! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wi-fi på overnatningsstedet kunne godt være bedre. Forbindelsen var for svag.

Beliggenheden var helt i top, på billedet ser det ud som om, at poolen er en rooftop-pool, men i virkeligheden ligger den i kælderen.

Gulvet i lejligheden er af plastiktræ, renoveringen af den smukke gamle bygning er ikke helt i tråd med de smukke gamle fløjdøre og det oprindelige murværk.

Stedet er sentralt, vi kunne gå overalt. Fasilitetene er flotte., og personalet er veldig hyggelig! Ville bodd her igjen!

Leiligheten var litt liten for 2 voksne og 2 ungdommer. Det kan også bli litt fullt ved bassengområdet. Ville booket med balkong hvis vi skulle bodd her på nytt.

The pool is a bit dirty, but not an issue!

Location is spot on. Walking distance to all and right where you want to be. Room was great, only downside was there was no full length mirror in the 4 person room, only 1 mirror in bathroom for 4 girls..not ideal. However still absolutely recommend it. The pool was heated and perfect space to recover ready for the next day, although they didn’t open the bar until 1pm so bring drinks and snacks.

Some of the staff weren’t as welcoming or as helpful as others but others made up for it.

We loved the location, the charm and the many hidden gems!

It was stated that there was an iron but there was not.

The location was brilliant for exploring the city. The pool and view was lovely.

Établissement très propre, l’accueil est très bien avec une personne présente en journée. Un code d’accès est donné, il permet l’accès à l’appartement, la piscine. La piscine est chauffée, des serviettes sont à disposition. L’hôtel dispose d’un bar restaurant à côté de la piscine. L’etablissement dispose du wifi. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, il est déposé le matin à 8h30 devant la porte de l’appartement: œufs, pain, confiture, viennoiseries, fruits frais, capsules de café (donc inutile d’en acheter !), lait, jus de fruit, yaourt à boire. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement, poubelle vidée.

Situé dans le centre historique donc en hauteur : il faut beaucoup grimper pour rentrer le soir, mais Porto est conçue comme cela.

The location and view of the Douro river are great - close to restaurants, the Douro River, a Fado show, tile making, Bolao market, etc. We loved having a fridge; our own private deck with a view of the Douro River; the pool area. Driving distance to ... Aveiro - the Venice of Portugal; Costa Nova beach - miles of beautiful, white sand; 516 metre suspension bridge - you need to buy tickets ahead!

The only thing we didn't like was the lack of free parking. We had to pay E$20 per day for parking. Oh well ... the cost of travelling.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Der Pool und die Terrasse sind zwar recht klein, aber sehr urig und hat ein tollen Wohlfühlfaktor! Die Lage ist super, wir haben nahezu alle Dinge zu Fuß erledigt und viele Restaurants sowohl für Frühstück als auch Abendbrot sind schnell zu erreichen.

Hele fijne locatie en zeer vriendelijk personeel! Op loopafstand van verschillende bezienswaardigheden. Zwembad en parkeermogelijkheid zijn ook echt een pluspunt

This is our second stay at this hotel. We love the view of the river, bridge, and Port houses across the river. An added bonus is the pool.

Le séquestre des transats par certains clients qui bloquent des sièges sans les utiliser.

Läget var utmärkt. Området lite mindre livligt på kvällen men gott om bra restauranger och barer. Vi bokade rum med utsikt över staden och poolen vilket var underbart. Rummet var fint och sköna sängar. Vi bokade med frukost och fick en väska utanför dörren varje morgon. Det var nästan för mycket frukost med bra att kunna välja tex croissant eller bröd. Det var väldigt skönt att kunna bada i poolen efter en dag på stan eller slappa i solstolarna. Mycket vänlig och tillmötesgående personal.

Det enda man behöver tänka på är att det ligger på "toppen" av staden men hela Porto är backigt så det är svårt att undvika.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Superb location that is walkable to major sites and attractions. And the pool and sundeck with its incredible riverview was the icing on the cake. The breakfast option was fresh, plentiful and delivered to our door each morning on time and they were able to accommodate a gluten free requirement for 2 members of our party. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely apartment - central for lots of sites in Porto but on a quiet street so no noise despite it's location. Friendly helpful staff and the port was a lovely touch. Nice to have a pool terrace to relax.

I feel it was perhaps a bit expensive but maybe that was just Porto prices for when I went. No complaints about the accommodation itself. Note the pool itself is small but a nice terrace to relax.

Le personnel (João et autres) étaient extraordinaires. L’emplacement est proche de tout. Endroit très propres et bien équipé.

Le seul point négatif était le matelas dans la chambre qui était trop dur à mon goût.
