Nice open space with lots of windows and natural light. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value and location overall.

As with most places downtown, the noise from the alley could be a bit disruptive at times. An extra lamp and fan would have been nice minor touches. A small couch in the room would have been a welcome addition as well, and there seemed to be plenty of space for one.

El baño es muy incómodo porque no tiene separación entre la ducha y el resto, entonces cuando te duchas mojas absolutamente todo el baño y tienes que sacar todo para que no se moje. Y por supuesto esperar a que se seque para no mojar el resto de la habitación. Cuando reserve la habitación no incluían foto del baño y es algo que deberían incluir ya que es muy incómodo.

The room is so big. We love it! And Hotel loc is near to tourist attractions, coffee shops, bars. We also like the homey vibes of it. We slept really well 🙂

No elevator. So if you have super heavy bags, you will have a hard time. Our room was cleaned i think only once during our stay.

Es ist sehr versteckt aber man findet es gut, da man eine genaue Wegbeschreibung davor erhält. Allerdings als Alleinreisende Frau etwas beängstigend, da man durch Gassen gehen muss die nicht stark begehen werden. Es fehlt ein Aufzug.

FANTASTIC!! The rooms were so spacious and clean. The decor was amazing. The location was fab and the staff were so so kind. Great value for money, we hope to be back !

+ very clean and even with a special sealing at the bottom of the room door (so that no bugs can enter) + spacious room (though with lots of "empty" space and not really much useful furniture like a desk) + location close to the center of HCMC, yet in a small side street (not accessible by cars), so it was relatively quiet, as there was not the usual traffic noise that you would hear throughout most of HCMC + very fast internet (I measured 277 Mbit/s download speed and 261 Mbit/s upload speed) + very good value for money

- as mentioned in other reviews as well, the bathroom is a "classical" Southeast Asian bathroom with no separation between the shower and the rest of the room, so after showering the whole bathroom is wet (for one night this didn't disturb me much, though) - communication was a bit difficult, as the staff on site spoke very little English (so one could communicate via Google Translate or by calling another person who spoke English)

We really liked the laneway location of the property, and the lovely smelling scent used when cleaning the rooms which were always spotless

The reception area could be a bit more welcoming (air conditioned, local are info, staffed, drinks available etc). It would be nice to include some kind of floor towel for the bathroom and to provide more toilet paper in the room

We really enjoyed my time here. The room was super clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect—just a short grab to the center of Ho Chi Minh and surrounded by tons of great restaurants and street food spots. The owners were absolutely lovely—so friendly. Overall, a great place to stay if you want something clean, convenient, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Room is lovely, fairly quiet, good location. We'd definitely come back. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and nothing was too much hassle.

Cars can't get to the hotel but it is only a short walk down an alleyway so no real drama unless you have a lot of luggage. As others have mentioned showering causes the water to go everywhere. More powerpoints in the room would be great.

Super clean, loved the interior. The location is right behind the shopping street and my to go massage spot. Will def come again. Only thing is they don’t have an elevator which I don’t mind since I like walking up and down. The staff is also ready to help you with your luggage if it’s too heavy.

Just few points : Towels are tiny. Was not prepared for the stairs. Balcony has no access from the room which it was alright as it was hot to stay there coz of the aircondenser was placed on the balcony wall. Bathroom shower in an awkward position making everything wet. Need a better bath mat. We arrived 1 hr early and was told since check in is 2pm we need to wait. We wanted to use the bathroom. however, the toilet available under the stairs was too short. A 6'2" tall can't stand straight at all. It was a mission.

The staff was really nice and helpful and the location was perfect. Only thing is that the bathroom is poorly decorated.

The accommodation is on a quiet, small street, but very close to the action. We walked everywhere, and in a city as big as Ho Chi Minh that is amazing. The room was very big, even bigger than I expected. There is a kitchen on the ground floor that can be used and it's well equipped. The AC works great, cools down the room without blowing cold air so you can sleep with it on, which was needed because of the big heat and humidity outside. The TV in the room has Netflix. The staff is very responsive and kind.

Not my favorite that there is no boarded up shower or curtain. However it drains well, so no flooding on the floor.

I stayed here before new year. The owners of the guest house are supper friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and the location is very good. The room was very big and comfortable.

Conveniently located in district 1, so good location for exploring the city. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful in every regard. The room is spacious and clean, had everything we needed. A/C worked really well. There is a kitchen on the ground floor with a fridge where you can help yourself to water bottles. We had a great stay there. When leaving, our hosts gifted us with a package of Vietnamese instant coffee and two fans which was a heartwarming surprise. We would definitely come back!

Not a complaint, just an information: The alleyway from the main road to the hotel is small, dark and not so pleasant. Cars cannot take you to the entrance. You will need to walk for a couple of minutes which we didn't mind at all. Also, before arrival the hosts will send you a detailed description and pictures of how you will find the hotel. With that you cannot go wrong. Previous reviews had mentioned getting lost there, but this issue has been taken care of in a very helpful way.

The room was ok but under furnished and rather soulless. The home stay had no atmosphere. The shower is a wet room and a little dangerous, a slippery floor and nothing at all to hold on to.

Located in District 1 close to many shops and restaurants. It is small and quaint and located at the end of an alley that is lined with local shops. Very clean and secure, with no noise heard from the busy streets. Owners were very friendly and helpful both prior to and during stay. We would stay here again.

Very clean, there is a shared kitchen with the ability to cook something.. Cool guys - the owners of the property are ready to answer any question, help, fast communication via WhatsApp.. Spacious room, comfortable bed, we rented a room with a balcony. Every day they offer water.. Safe, the main gates are on electronic keys.. Excellent location, center, next to 2 famous Ban Mi.. When checking out, they gave me a notebook for notes, very nice..

The shower is built into the wall and water spills all over the bathroom, but if you leave the exhaust fan on for 3-4 hours, it practically blows out everything...

The owners are very kind. The room is spacious and very clean. Located in a small lane behind the street, it provides the rare quietness in the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

No separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, though we well know about it in advance, is not most convenient, but it turns out not a big issue.

Room was quite spacious and the staff is also really nice.

The bathroom was poorly designed and inconvenient to use—it even flooded during my shower, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, the location of the property is not ideal. It’s a 200-meter walk from the main road, which was particularly challenging for us as we had to drag heavy suitcases along an uneven and poorly maintained path.

Amazing Merit was a great place to stay for our first visit to Ho Chi Minh City, being located in a quiet lane in District 1. The hosts are very friendly and their communication is excellent. They make themselves available to answer any questions and provide useful information for visiting the city. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and has a good hand held shower. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We liked the hotel so much on our previous visit that we returned for our final night in HCMC. The ‘deluxe double room with balcony’ is highly recommended. Everything is brand new & spotlessly clean. The room is very large and the bed excellent. Thank you!

huge And modern apartments, friendly staff

Knowing we were staying for 5 nights, we opted for the bigger room. It was so spacious, so many storage places and it was just beautifully designed. The staff were so welcoming and very nice during our stay. We absolutely loved the location. So easy to get to by the local bus from the airport (about a 5 minute walk). We were 2 streets away from many main roads yet it was so quiet. We were even gifted a beautiful notebook which we found was so sweet. I certainly recommend everyone to stay at this location.

Can’t really say anything bothered us at all.

Nice small hotel deep in the Saigon walking streets, basic, but clean and cozy room. Quiet, which is a big bonus in Saigon. Close to all attractions in the center. Welcoming and attentive staff. No complains.

There is no separation between shower and other parts of the bathroom and everything goes wet after 1st shower, but that's typical for Vietnam.

When I first stepped in the room, I had to WOW because the room was HUGE! Really spacious! Big comfy bed and nice AC, the Internet was strong too. They have little balcony with no view but still nice. The bathroom is decent! All and all the room is huge and clean The couple that runs the place is friendly and welcoming. He even helped me to carry my suitcase upstairs.

The only disadvantage is that they don’t have anh sockets next to/near the bed. So you have to charge your phone next to the TV. Also no light switches near the bed so you would have to get up and go all the way to the door to turn on/off the lights.

What an amazing experience! The check-in process is very smooth with extremely polite and caring staff. The room is new and spacious with well-equipped facilities. There is a balcony to enjoy some hot coffee with sunshine as well. It is absolutely an amazing stay. Will definitely come back here again soon!

The room was very large with a nice balcony and bathroom. There is a lot of storage space and the bed is new and comfortable. The host was friendly and provided a fast and cheap laundry service. The alley is relatively quiet and the neighbourhood has lots of restaurants and is close to sights.
