A truly wonderful place to stay! The property is spotless, very peaceful, and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, the food was delicious, and the huge garden is a great bonus. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

The hotel is located in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by beautiful birds and wildlife, yet it is within walking distance to the famous Lion Rock. Beautiful, authentic bungalows with only 8 rooms in total. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it felt very private and we never heard our neighbors. The territory is exceptionally well-maintained, and there is a clean, comfortable swimming pool. The bungalows are spotless, and to our surprise, there were absolutely no insects inside the room. Delicious breakfasts that included fresh smoothies. The on-site restaurant is great for lunch and dinner, plus there are other highly-rated restaurants just a short distance away. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The host helped us arrange all our taxis and excursions, and even used his experience to suggest great adjustments to our travel itinerary.

Will be relevant to any hotel in Sigiriya: Walking outside the hotel's territory after dark is strongly discouraged. Wild elephants roam the area at night, which can be very dangerous, so it is better to stay on the property or use transport

Es ist eine schöne Anlage mit mehreren Häusern und Zimmern. Der Pool hat unseren Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und hilft bei Touren in die Umgebung und zur Safari. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird frisch gekocht.

Una pesadilla. No había agua caliente. Además también nos se cortó el.agua y la.electricidad. no limpian las habitaciones ni cambian toallas. Un timo.

Family atmosphere within only 8 apartments. Calmness and a traditional vibe. A very good breakfast served in the open space at the preferred time. Spacious rooms. Simply adorable.

Dit resort is ons uitstekend bevallen. Wat een fijne plek. De gebouwen zijn oud maar hebben een prachtige statige stijl. De bedden, de ramen en de schilderingen op de muur maken het tot een indrukwekkend geheel. Het heerlijke zwembad maakt het compleet. Maar bovenal maken mensen het verschil. De lieve zussen die het beheer doen zijn ontzettend aardig, super zorgzaam en meedenkend. Ze hielpen ons met boekingen (city trip, tuk tuk, jeep safari) en kwamen ons een thee en citroensap brengen als we ons niet lekker voelden. Ja, dit is een tip top locatie. Ook de wifi was uitstekend (belangrijk voor tieners). Oh ja, er liep hier in de nacht een olifant door de tuin. Dat was behoorlijk spannend en indrukwekkend.

Quelques fruits au petit déjeuner serait un plus.

Hele nette kamers, heerlijk zwembad, prachtige tuin met mooie vogels en aapjes. En bovenal super lieve eigenaren die er alles aan doen om je een geweldig verblijf te verzorgen.

Alles was top. Geen minpunten.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado para visitar Sigiriya y Pidurangala. Los huéspedes son super majos y atentos por si necesitas cualquier cosa. Las habitaciones están super limpias y bien equipadas. La piscina también está super bien para las tardes de calor. Pegado al resort hay un pequeño restaurante donde se come y cena muy bien.

We loved staying here. Madu and her team are fantastic, they made at feel welcome straight away. As soon as they found out we like birds and wildlife they called us to see the grey hornbill and large Sri Lankan squirrel in the trees. The garden is beautiful just to sit out and look out for wildlife. The pool was great for the kids to play in. You’re 20 minutes walk away from Lion rock. On the walk we saw peacocks, bee eaters, kind fishers and eagles. We organised an elephant safari through the hotel and had a great afternoon, seeing countless wild elephants. There are lovely dogs at the property who were super friendly. The home cooked curries were so delicious. And breakfast was a feast. You’re in the wild so expect a few frog guests to the bathroom, this was to great enjoyment to our girls. The bathroom needs a little love but the warmth and surrounds this is a small thing which needs attention.

Stay in this resort was amazing. The staff was very nice, friendly, hospitable and welcoming. The owner helped us a lot with making plans. He also booked a safari for us and helped us make reservations too. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. We really liked that they're long. There is also a pool that you are free to use. The resort is located in nature and ambient is just amazing. Its not far from main attractions. We really recommend it!

Heel vriendelijk personeel die ons met een grote grimlach ons ontving. Het ontbijt was goed en het personeel gaf ons advies wateren doen in de regio. Zwembad was goed onderhouden. Elke dag werd heel het terrein schoongeveegd.

Voor een gezin van 4 heb je voldoende bedden. Helaas geen kast voor het opbergen van je kleding.

Le calme, l’emplacement, la disponibilité des hôtes et leurs recommandations, nous avons pu assister à un délicieux cours de cuisine et un superbe safari, ils ont également organisé notre transfert pour les prochaines étapes.

Calling place perfekt for the kids with swimmingpool and much to explore. Gaby and the rest of the crew are good with kids. Food was great! Chill atmosphere.

One out of three nights it was a lot of noise, as the dogs where barking to scare off elephants.

A beautiful and clean place to stay with a swimming pool and lovely grounds. The restaurant on site was perfect for breakfasts and watching the wildlife. We loved our stay here and extended it by 2 nights as didn’t want to leave. Everyone is super friendly too. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious but the menu would benefit from more choice being available.

We arrived very late after a delayed flight and for only one night. The staff very kindly waited up for us, helped us with our bags and provided some bottles of water for us. The breakfast was a good selection of fresh fruit, bread and jam and eggs. The bungalows are very cute and the pool looked nice although we didn't have time to use it. Very close to Lions Rock.

The room was a little humid and there were a lot of mosquitoes but its the jungle so to be expected.

We loved it here for our 3 night stay. The rooms were spacious with air con & lovely balcony. The pool was clean & fantastic. The owners were so friendly & helpful with every aspect of the stay. The breakfast & all food was freshly prepared and delicious. The hammocks in the garden.

The buildings & pool area walls need a re paint but this is cosmetic and doesn’t detract at all from the stay.

Milá paní majitelka, která umí výborně anglicky a umí vše zajistit a poradit. Moc se mi líbila zahrada a v ní houpací sítě. Holkám se líbil bazén. Tam byly téměř pořád a řádily v malém i větším bazénku. Dokonce jsme zažili i místní " pouť" s atrakcemi pro děti. Konala se u příležitosti nějakého náboženského svátku.

Amazing stay! We loved the 2 nights we spent there. The family running the place is very helpful and kind. They make all in their hands to make the stay perfect. The bed is so comfortable and clean, breakfast outstanding! Very close to Lion Rock by motorbike or tuk tuk Highly recommended overall.

The rooms are basic but have everything you need. The perks of the resort are its amazing garden, with a pool and its lovely hosts. They where welcoming and helpful during our stay. They helped us booking the safari which also was awesome. Will definitely recommend.

Felt a bit desolate when we arrived but grew to appreciate peaceful surroundings.

I really loved all the nature at the Green Heaven. I saw some amazing birds just sitting on my balcony. It was a nice big room, and the four poster bed complete with mosquito net was very comfortable. The family owners and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were very flexible with the food they gave me. The breakfasts were delicious. The swimming pool was a real draw for me, big enough to get a good swim and well maintained.

The hotel was a bit empty so felt rather sad, not helped by the heavy rains. There were a few bits and pieces which could have been improved like the cushions on the sun loungers were wet and my lock for my room didn't work well, but these things didn't detract from my general enjoyment of the peace and serenity of the place.

Knowing this hotel was going to be average, it met expectations. It is worth what you pay. It is very simple, don't expect luxury. The pool was clean, having a pool was one reason why we chose this accommodation. We definitely used the air-conditioning and fan! The gentleman who worked there was lovely, friendly and accommodating! Breakfast was simple with an egg, toast, fresh fruit juice, and tea/coffee.

I believe this is normal for Sri Lanka, the bathroom/plumbing has a bit of a smell but it was fine. Having the fan and closing the bathroom door is helpful.

We really loved our stay in the hotel The best thing here is the staff - we really connected with them and then catered to everything we needed (including gluten free breakfast and dinner)

Internet was slow

We spend a very nice time in this place, the hotel looks like an old charming building, we loved the little terrace around the room, to rest in the patio, the swimming pool and this huge and beautiful garden full of birds and hamacs. All the staff is really nice, helpful and plaisant. The food is good. You need a tuk-tuk to move at night because there's a lot of wild elephants near around, but ok at day. The main street of Sigiriya is at 20 min by walk.

They were so lovely and friendly. They organised my airport pick up which ment I arrived to check in at 3am. Easy 10 min walk to Sigiria Lion walk. Great location if you wish to walk places

Aircon could have been colder as it was very hot when I stayed

We absolutely loved the hospitality of the hosts.The pool is huge.The garden is beautiful and so was the room where we stayed. We stayed 2 days and enjoyed the delicious breakfast both days.Staff is attentive and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Location and staff were good. Pool was fantastic. The garden contains amazing animal and local frut trees. Host Ruchira was smily and helpful.

Not whole clean and mosquitos were anoying. Owner was a business man and not helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend staying at Green Heaven Resort. The owner is very nice and caring, as well as the lovely staff. They organized a tour for us and recommended us what to do throughout our stay. Very close to Lion Rock (you can walk there!). The pool is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. Tasty and well prepared breakfast!

I can’t describe with word how wonderful and amazing is the staff of the hotel, after staying 1 week there, it was very hard to leave them.The location and hotel is also very good and calm.Breakfast is fantastic, especially the home made butter and jam😍
