Great location. The view of lions rock is stunning. Elephants coming at night was the best. Foods good and staff lovely.

De mensen zijn ontzettend aardig en gastvrij. In het restaurant kun je echt heerlijk eten. De locatie is ook perfect: lekker dichtbij Lion Rock en Pidurangala Rock. Ze kunnen allerlei excursies voor je regelen en als kers op de taart hebben we hier ook nog het populaire spel Carrom leren spelen!

De olifantensafari die we via de accommodatie hadden geboekt viel helaas tegen. Het was er veel te druk met jeeps.

We had an excellent stay at this resort. We stayed in a family bunk room and everything was as expected. The staff are very friendly and will help arrange whatever you need. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant. It was close to the main sites of the area either on foot or by tuk-tuk.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and checking on us throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone at the hotel made us feel so welcome and comfortable. They truly made us feel at home, which made our experience even more special. We would definitely recommend staying here. A wonderful place with amazing people, great service, and delicious food. We would happily come back! 🫶🏻🇱🇰✈️🧳

Quiet place with friendly staff in the middle of the garden full of exotic fruits. It’s worrh walking out the back of the property and clomb the rock.

Mooie ligging met vanuit het zwembad uitzicht op lion’s rock. Super vriendelijke mensen en heerlijk eten. Mooi terrein met eigen fruitbomen.

Wij hadden een kamer met stapelbedden. Deze was niet super ruim en comfortabel.

Une partie du jardin a des petits travaux (construction d autres chambres Hut dans le jardin) Pour mémoire n hésitez pas à regarder si votre réservation booking inclut ou non le petit déjeuner ;) qui n est pas systématiquement inclus.

Il y avait quelques travaux quand on y était donc difficile de profiter de la piscine… mais bientôt il y aura un nouveau pool house tout neuf !

Aucune insonorisation des chambres, vous entendez absolument tout de vos voisins. Salle de restaurant pas très chaleureuse J’aurai aimé que le personnel de l’hôtel nous prévienne qu’il y avait des éléphants sauvages dès la nuit tombée aux alentours et qu’il était dangereux de faire des trajets à pieds (pour aller à un autre restaurant par exemple) Des travaux en cours (vous pouvez avoir du bruit autour de la piscine)

We had a great stay at Green Hut Nature Resort. The staff were all very lovely, great varied breakfast each day, awesome pool and view, and we enjoyed a great curry set dinner at the restaurant one evening too. I think past reviewers' comments about construction noise are inflated - noise is simply part of further developing this lovely place and we had no trouble with noise on the 2 days we spent by the pool. The new accommodations will be wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay

I do agree with another reviewer however that there is a smell in the room bathroom (perhaps sewerage related) that should be investigated so that guests have a more pleasant stay. We became 'used to it' by the end of our stay however, haven't experienced it elsewhere on our travels in Sri Lanka so hope that the hotel can rectify it for future guests.

Personál v ubytování byl velmi milý. Pomohli nám s výlety a poradili nám, když jsme potřebovali. Všichni byli velmi ochotní. Skvělý bazén s výhledem na Sigiryi. Jídlo bylo dobré. Pokoj prostorný s místem na odkládání věcí. Klimatizace fungovala dobře.

Postel byla krátká. S manželem měříme 180 cm a lezly nám nohy ven. Péra z postele nás tlačily a polštáře byly nepohodlné. Spaní pro nás nebylo dobré. Koupelna nebylo moc čistá. To je ale na Sri Lance problém všeobecně. Toto bylo naše čtvrté ubytování na ostrově a ještě jsme neměli čistou koupelnu.

Het zwembad was erg fijn, heerlijk ontbijtje en ook prima milkshakes! Personeel ook erg vriendelijk!

Onze kamer was een familie kamer met 3 stapelbedden. Dit hadden wij iets ruimer verwacht. Ook stonk de badkamer een beetje.

Very kind people and a beautiful place! There is a beautiful pool and it feels just like home! They also help you book transportation, safaris and anything you need.

Klimaanlage hat laut gebrummt und es hat 2 Tage für die Reparatur gedauert, die dann am Sonntag erfolgt ist!

Sehr nettes familiengeführtes Hotel, sauber, vom Pool kann man den Löwenfelsen sehen. Tolles Essen.

Amazing location within nature, great staff, delicious food.

This beautiful family run business was a great place to stay. With a perfect view of Lion Rock and a nice swimming pool, it was great for our family. The restaurant was great- we ate there for two dinners and two breakfasts. Catering for gluten free was not an issue at all. Highly recommend.

In close access to the sigiriya lion rock, amidst nature and exceptionally great hospitality from the green hut staff, this is a great place to stay.

La petite attention concernant le café en chambre à l arrivée

Chambre vieillotte (n°9), peu confortable, ampoule au dessus du lit HS (changée après plusieurs rappels...); et les prix ne sont pas en rapport avec la qualité que l on est en droit d'attendre.(et je trouve toute la décoration murale de la salle a manger en graffitis façon "livre d'or" hideuse). Bref, je ne reviendrai pas, meme si le personnel salarié fait de son mieux.

Great property! The surrounding nature and views were lovely. The room itself was clean and comfy but it could do with a bit of updating as it looked quite worn. Staff were very friendly and helpful!!

We did have a frog in our bathroom but didn’t really bother us.

Der Pool mit dem Ausblick auf den Lions Rock ist natürlich das Highlight! Klimaanlage im Zimmer hat gut funktioniert aber etwas getropft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man hat uns zu einem totalen fairen Preis einen Transport vom Flughafen sowie weiter nach Kandy organisiert. Zu bedenken: Nie im Dunkeln zu Fuß unterwegs sein, immer ein Tuktuk nehmen wegen der wilden Elefanten!

Das Zimmer war leider nicht ganz so toll wie erwartet. Man muss dazusagen ich glaube wir hatten eher ein altes Zimmer. Aber es hat im Badezimmer fürchterlich nach Kanal gestunken - mit offenem Fenster geht es aber man hat dann natürlich viele Mücken im Raum. Über dem Bett ist aber ein Mosquitonetz, also auch halb so wild. Leider wird derzeit im Hotel noch viel gearbeitet und gebaut, also ist es nicht zwangsläufig ruhig am Pool oder im Zimmer.

- Gestank im Bad, der vom Abfluss des Waschbeckens kam. - Klimaanlage sehr laut mit knackenden/knallenden Geräuschen - Bett hat sehr laut geknarrt bei jeder Bewegung

Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und äußerst bemüht. Sie haben bei allen Anliegen geholfen und wusste immer eine Lösung. Das Essen im Hotel war auch äußerst Lecker und der Pool sauber und sehr groß. Die Safari über das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert!!!

I havde booket et familieværelse. Billederne fra booking var ikke retvisende . Poolen var ikke den der var taget billeder af , det var nabo-hotellet. Så billerne er en kombination af de to hoteller . Værelset var mørkt, beskidt og ikke værd at bo i. Vi flyttede derfra .

スタッフがとても穏やかで丁寧。 敷地内に大きな岩があり、そこからシギリアとピドゥンガラロックが見える。この岩にはほとんど人が来ないので絶景を独り占め。 サンライズもサンセットもどちらも本当に綺麗。 シギリア絶景に癒されたい方にはかなりお勧め。他では見られない景色！ 2026年2月末の中東戦争勃発でかなりのキャンセルが出たとのこと。 持ち堪えて頑張って欲しい！

Estuvimos genial. Tras probar varios alojamientos, creo que este es de los mejores. El personal es super amable, las comidas estaban increíbles y las habitaciones y el resto de instalaciones están muy bien. La piscina la agradeces muchísimo para descansar y refrescarte en los ratos libres y además tiene unas vistas super bonitas.

We loved the location for exploring Lion’s rock and pidurangala’s rock. It was peaceful and the pool was lovely! The staff were great and it was good to have breakfast included which meant we could crack on with our activities.

The bathroom could have been cleaner but it wasn’t a big issue for us and the accommodation is a very good price.

Bardzo dobre śniadania. Przesympatyczny personel, właścicielka podczas śniadania umiliła nam czas rozmową. Był to nasz nocleg tylko na jedną noc. Dostaliśmy również wodę na drogę, za co duży plus.

Czystość była ok, jednak porównując inne miejsca na Sri Lance w których zostaliśmy bardzo odbiegała od normy. W łazience trzeba nastawić się, że można spotkać np. żabę jak to w jungli :) Ogólnie nocleg na jedną noc żeby się przespać w porządku, ale standardu w Sigiriyi nie można porównać do hoteli na południu. Myślę, że to ważna informacja, ponieważ z opinii miejsc noclegowych w tym obszarze to nie wynika.

Die Lage ist perfekt, um Ausflüge zum Lion Rock und Pidurungala zu machen. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und auch im Restaurant konnte man gut zu Abend essen. Am Pool kann man die Tage sehr gut ausklingen lassen.

Perfekte Lage in der Nähe vom Lions Rock und schön ruhig gelegen. Gutes Frühstück, nettes und hilfsbereites Personal und viele Möglichkeiten, um Ausflüge zu buchen. Wir haben die Elefanten Safari gemacht und es war einfach unglaublich. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis 😊

Standard of the room wasn't great but for that price level is ok. There was a smell of sewage in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at Green Hut Nature Resort. The staff were so kind and friendly and made a huge fuss of our 2 year old daughter. The pool area was lovely with a fabulous view of Lion’s Rock. We also did the cooking class onsite which I would definitely recommend.

It is well located, the food is spectacular (I highly recommend rice and curry). The owners are very kind too. Everything was clean as well. The owners also give you very good recommendations.

Nothing to report to be honest. Just maybe you get a bit of wooden smell because the doors are a bit old but that is no problem at all for me. The overall experience is very good.

It was in such a great location with a lovely view and easy into town. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. Breakfast was delicious especially the fresh fruit they grow on site. Would recommend hai f dinner there too because it was the nicest meal we had in Sigiriya

Everything was great

Very quiet during the day and at night. Our room was clean and had everything that we wanted. The breakfast was good and we had dinner on both nights, which was also very good with lots of fresh produce from the garden.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach großartig! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und mit einem traumhaften Pool, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Besonders beeindruckend war der direkte Blick auf den Lion Rock – ein echtes Highlight! Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung ist ruhig, wunderschön und ideal zum Abschalten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

El personal es increíblemente amable. Te ayudan a organizar todo, safari, tuktuks para visitar por los alrededores, transporte a colombo… en su restaurante se come muy bien y muy económico. El entorno es increíble con la piscina para darte un baño. Se puede ir andando a Ella Rock.

Hôtes adorables et très arrangeants. Emplacement à 15 minutes à pied du Lion’s Rock et vue depuis la piscine. Chambre grande, propre et confortable. Très bon rice and curry servi avec les légumes du jardin.

The location was excellent, great views of Sigiriya rock and easy to walk there. The pool was lovely, we enjoyed star gazing and watching the fire flies in the garden at night.

Not very good sound proofing between the rooms. We could hear our neighbour snoring.
