Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Very good location, nice view to the street (despite the room being quite dark even during the day). Fantastic staff, kind, helpful, welcoming and communicative (even in english)!! The room was in the 1st floor, shared bathroom only 4 stairs away! :)
The kitchen and the bathroom could have been much cleaner. It was okay but I was double checking what am I touching all the time. + about the room above

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Le homestay est plutôt bien situé, à côté de la voie de chemin de fer. La chambre n'est pas bien grande mais c'est largement suffisant pour y dormir sereinement. L'hôte est vraiment très gentil et peut vous donner quelques recommendations si nécessaires.
Je ne sais pas si cela était mentionné mais la salle de bain est partagée. Les hôtes présents au même moment que moi n'en prenaient pas du tout soin. Or comme il s'agit d'une petite salle de bain, cela devient vite très sale

The bedroom and bathroom were not clean. There was a cockroach and a lot of bugs. There were stains on the sheets and a lot of dust in the room.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026The owner is the kindest man on earth. He was so welcoming. My friend and I stayed for a couple nights then left to do the ha Giang loop for 2 nights and he allowed us to leave our bags with him in a safe space. When we were coming back we doordashed food to the place and it arrived before we got back and he went and picked it up and kept it warm without me asking. He then helped us book a day cruise to ha long bay and did all the information for it. I cannot recommend a better place, the rooms were also comfortable and a fantastic price. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough!

M’a proposé de faire le Check in beaucoup plus tôt que prévu et a accepté que je laisse mes affaires le lendemain dans la chambre bien après le Check out. Le logement était parfait et propre. We stayed on the ground floor near the reception and it can be quite noisy as the walls are very thin. You can hear everything coming in and out late at night.

Les lits sont confortables, la chambre est propre et l'eau est chaude avec de la pression :) Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit mais l'hôte a même pu nous laver les vêtements avant notre départ du lendemain matin! Il y a une très bonne adresse de banh mi café dans la rue, idéale pour le petit déjeuner Merci encore pour tout et à bientôt !

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026Es ist eine gute Anlaufstelle für den Start in Vietnam. Es liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt. Direkt um die Ecke ist die Trainstreet. Nicht mal 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Than hat uns sehr auf unserer Vieznamreise unterstützt. Auch als wir nicht mehr in Hanoi waren.

L’hôte est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle : il nous a aidés à trouver un logement pour un autre séjour grâce à ses contacts, a gardé notre batterie rechargeable oubliée dans la chambre pendant que nous étions hors de Hanoï, et l’a même rechargée pour nous. Un hôte rare, attentionné et humain, avec un prix imbattable. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

Reviewed Nov 26, 2025Comodità per visitare il centro di Hanoi e stanza pulita e silenziosa. La disponibilità e la capacità dello staff di soddisfare le nostre richieste ed esigenze. Il tour giornaliero della baia di Ha Long che propongono è molto valido, con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
La camera al secondo piano ha un bagno ad uso privato ma posto fuori dall'appartamento, forse questo può risultare leggermente scomodo ma fino ad un certo punto perchè cmq è di fianco alla porta di uscita e nessuno transita da li. Il bagno è piccolo ma in linea con altri trovati in Vietnam.

Reviewed Nov 20, 2025It's okay for one night. The bed is alright and the staff is very kind and helpful. But it's not a place you want to stay in a long time. The room is very very simple and the bathroom is not in the room, it's outside of the room. It feels like you're living in somebody's house on the bottom floor, not in a hotel. I got the feeling when you're visiting your family and sleep in the guest room. Location is great! Would recommend for one or 2 nights if you're out a lot in Hanoi and just need a place to sleep but not more than that.

Vị trí ngay cạnh đường tàu rất thuận tiện di chuyển trong phố cổ. Phòng mang lại cảm giác ấm cúng. Mình đi dịp lễ nên rất rộn ràng vui vẻ, cảm ơn home!

Reviewed Aug 22, 2025Il y a des l'espace et on est au calme alors que l'on est tout près du quartier animé. Le grand lit est tres bien. Le petit est vraiment très dure. Le propriétaire est tres sympathique et arrangeant. Suite à un retard de vol, nous sommes arrivés dans la nuit à 1h et il nous a accueilli.

The location is great, very close to train street but outside the hustle and bustle. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend to stay here.

Also the owner made sure we had a pleasant stay and was available 24/7. The homestay is located in the city center of Hanoi still in a very quiet area. Would definitely stay there again.

Reviewed May 2, 2025Due to some unseen circumstances we had to leave another motel and booked this place early in the morning, we arrived before 8 am.Luckily the owner was very nice to welcome us and made our room ready as quick as he could. We didnt know it before hand but it turned out this accommodation is very very close by trainstreet, just a few minute walk. We had a great coffee there and watched the trains driving by, very fun (especially when you go early in the morning!) We had a great night sleep in this homestay!
