Sehr gemütliches Zimmer, viele schöne Details, bequemes Bett, alles sehr sauber, freundliche Besitzerin. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Very helpful host. Helped with shared taxi into Galway centre. Told me about Galway city and the fantastic music and entertainment Galway Arts festival which is great fun.

Valentina is a gem of a human, so warm and friendly. I was very lucky we both wanted to check out the Galway Folk Festival and Valentina took me to the centre of town and showed me around. The house itself is beautiful, the room very clean with thoughtful touches. Nice quiet area of town.

Valentina herself was amazing. Went out of her way to help me as much as she could and gave me a great recommendation for a bar. The accommodation itself was beautiful with gorgeous interior. Galway is one the best cities I have ever visited. Hustling and bustling with nightlife even on a Thursday night with dancing and friendly people

Location isn't great if you're on foot. About 12/15 minute walk to get bus into town.

Lovely room. Bed well made, all kept so tidy and Room was warm and comfy with the heating in the morning. Shower was lovely too- easy to control and bathroom was really tidy too. Valentina is very friendly and easy to chat to. Kept in touch on the day before to set up arrival and was very accommodating of my schedule.

Would have liked to have stayed longer but unfortunately I just had one night in Galway.

The room is lovely. And in a quiet neighbourhood, so I slept perfectly. Super clean and tidy. Considerably cheaper than hotels in Galway. Valentina is a wonderful host, especially for solo travellers who aren't sure what to do in the evenings. Exceptional place.

I loved the location, it was only a 10 minute drive to Salthill. It was in a nice quiet estate. The room and bed were very comfortable

What's not to like about The Green Room. Valentina is a one of a kind host, who made feel most welcome and comformable in her home. From my arrival, with her helpful explanations on getting to her place to her courteous goodbye on my departure. Thank you, Valentina, for a memorable introduction to Galway.

The room was very comfortable and had a nice energy to it.

I have to disagree with all previous reviews that the location is close to town. A 40 minute walk or 30 minutes by public transport (which includes the 10 min walk to a bus stop) is not close in a small town like Galway. It is also a relatively expensive option for essentially a room only in someone’s house. Not to say that it isn’t nice and the host is not absolutely lovely, but it did not live up to 9.8 rating it had when we booked!

Great host, very welcoming and gave lots of local tips because there was an art festival on. Everything was very clear from checking in, and explaining which buses or taxis needed to get around locally. Comfiest bed I've slept in for ages, room is really quiet and has your own wee kettle and even a small snack (nice touch). Towel and even labelled body wash shampoo etc so you know what's what. Handy location for getting to town and uni etc. Great value. Would stay again and recommend.

The Green Room was ideal for my needs and great value for money. Everything was top quality and I had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable room. The host, Valentia, was extremely helpful with suggestions about the city.

Everything was fine, the property is a little outside the city centre, but that suited me.

Valentina is a very friendly and welcoming host and allowed me to access to the room at an earlier time which was a great help. The room was clean and very comfortable and excellent value for my 1 night stay.. Ideal location, just a 30 minute walk to the city centre. I would stay here again next time I visit in Galway.

Valentina is a super friendly and interesting host and it was a pleasure to stay at her place! She even borrowed me her bike to make sure I can make some extra meters for my bike challenge! :)

Lovely room! The bathroom right next door which was really handy! Loved the tea and coffee options, and it was a nice walk from the house down into Salthill to walk along the water front, it’s also really close to the countryside at the outskirts of Galway so only takes 10 minutes to be out in nature! Valentina and her partner are really lovely and gave us some really good recommendations. It felt really clean and safe and secure - we were thrilled!

It’s a tad far out if you don’t drive but we love to walk so it was perfect for us!! There are lots of good buses nearby though The curtains let a lot of light in so it was hard to catch up on sleep after late nights in the pub 😂

It was well connected (30 minutes from the west side by foot or you can take the bus and it’ll drop you at 5-10 mins from the house). It was clean and very comfortable. Valentina was an amazing host! I would highly recommend staying there!

The atmosphere was very relaxed. Chilled. Felt like a family member dropping in for a brief stay. Very friendly Host. Most hospitable and easy to chat to. The room was really clean and spacious. Plenty of hanging space, extra blankets, and the bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was spotless. The tea and coffee making facilities were unexpected, but a lovely addition. The location is ideal if you have an early appointment in University hospital. Valentina is a lovely host and was available if I needed anything. I will definitely be staying again in the future.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The house owner was really nice and was looking to everything with deep care. House and my room, bed sheets/towels was clean. Lovely that was option to have a tea and coffee exactly at the room.

At night time was extremely cold, I dont know or owner just switch the heat off in a house, but my face was froze, I even took extra plaid..but was really hard to fall a sleep..

Price was cheaper than others with the quality still being amazing. Place was warm, clean and organised. The host Valentina was really nice to us. She informed us about the current Christmas markets and Galway and gave us address.

Not the host's fault but the location of the place was wrong on google maps so when we first went there, it was 30 minutes away from the actual place.

I am glad to have found Valentina's accommodation. Two nights with her was the ideal start to my stay in Galway. The room and the whole apartment seem to be designed with a lot of creativity and love and this reflects her great nature. As well as a super bed, the room has space for clothes and is nice and light during the day, the curtains darken well if you want to sleep a bit longer. Towels are ready and the bathroom, which is right next door, is super clean and makes you feel comfortable. Valentina provided a small kettle and tea bags in the room, like small pastries, to start your day. I would highly recommend your stay with her if you are looking for something with character, unlike so many tourist apartments and hostels. The apartment is a good walk from the city but on my way I got many beautiful impressions besides even a rainbow. Not far from the house is a small viewpoint. Best booking experience in a long time!!
