Very nice accommodation! Best staff in Nuwara

Increíble el sitio y en especial la amabilidad del personal. Habitación cómoda. No tuvimos suerte con el tiempo pero aún así lo disfrutamos. Nos llevaron al centro y nos trajeron después de cenar en el Noshers. Desayuno top. Un must.

The location is fabulous at a high cliff looking towards the hills. Good garden area for morning tea. Decent rooms. Awesome dining and living area. AMAZING STAFF, Ishan and Kishore were always on their toes to help each one of us in a group of 12 people. They had solutions for almost everything. They accommodated according to our breakfast needs as well because we were all vegetarians.

Bathrooms can do little maintenance in terms of water pressure and few plumbing issues, but that doesn't reduce the property quality.

We were there just for a short overnight stop on our way from Ella to Colombo. Very friendly welcome, super comfortable beds, nice breakfast. All good.

Excellent location. Bed and bathrooms were crispy clean and comfortable. All the staffs, esp Ishan, were so helpful that made my stay at the edgware memorable. Will definitely comeback there and explore the city.

Only thing was the wind in the night would make its own music with cabana corners.

Abbiamo soggiornato al THE EDGWARE e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo. Fin dal nostro arrivo, i ragazzi dello staff sono stati gentilissimi, disponibili e attenti a ogni nostra esigenza, facendoci sentire subito accolti e a casa. Abbiamo avuto modo di cenare nella struttura e la cena è stata davvero buonissima: tutto preparato con cura e di ottima qualità. Anche la colazione è stata eccellente, completa e molto piacevole. Le camere sono pulite, spaziose e confortevoli, perfette per riposarsi dopo una giornata in giro. Ma il gesto che ci ha colpito di più è stato quello che hanno avuto per il compleanno di mio marito. Avevano saputo che era il suo compleanno e, senza che chiedessimo nulla, ci hanno fatto trovare una bellissima torta, anche abbastanza grande per tutti e nove, preparata appositamente per noi. Un pensiero davvero dolcissimo, che dimostra quanto tengano ai loro ospiti. È proprio questa attenzione ai dettagli e questo calore che rendono speciale il soggiorno. Non ci siamo sentiti semplicemente clienti, ma ospiti accolti con vera gentilezza. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff del THE EDGWARE per la splendida ospitalità, la cena, la colazione e soprattutto per il bellissimo gesto dedicato a mio marito. È stato un soggiorno davvero speciale e che ricorderemo con piacere. ❤️

Fijne bedden, centrale lokatie, vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel, hebben ons goed geholpen toen we medische hulp nodig hadden. Kregen nog een heerlijk diner aangeboden, ook goed ontbijt. En Netflix in de ontvangstruimte.

Un hotel acogedor en una casa muy mona con pocas habitaciones. Desayuno muy bueno, los chicos que lo gestionan así como el dueño muy amables. Está un poco alejado del centro pero te llevan en coche al centro y te recogen sin cargo extra. Muy buen servicio.

Por decir algo, le falta un poco de presión de agua a la ducha, pero el lavabo en si estaba bien.

On the basis of booking. coms information, I made booking for two days for staying there. When I was a little bit confusion about their location, I made a call and they responded immediately. Only not that they sent a transport to carry me to their hotel . This act of responsibility depicts how much they cara about their guests. Other than that, the hotel is situated in a very important place, with all modern amenities, and their motto to serve the guest at their best

La tranquilidad de la zona, habitación amplia, limpia y cómoda. El personal encantador. La localización queda un pelín apartada pero tienen un servicio de transfer personalizado que se agradece muchísimo.

Nos tocó la habitación en la planta baja del edificio principal y se oía ruido del trajín del personal. Por lo demás, todo Ok.

Mooi hotel, koloniale stijl, heerlijke kamers, super vriendelijk personeel. We kregen uitgebreid ontbijt en binnen een straal van 1 km brengen ze je overal naar toe en halen je weer op. Op die manier kun je een groot deel van Nuwara Eliya bekijken.

Ontbijt, bedden en locatie vlak naast een heerlijk restaurant. Lief verzorgd ontbijt voor onderweg naar Horton Plains (wel onhandig want zat toch wat plastic bij en dat is niet toegestaan in het park).

Was duidelijk verschil tussen de managers. Moest 2x vragen om handdoeken omdat deze er niet waren. Niet toen we arriveerde en weer niet toen de kamer was schoongemaakt. Douche moeilijk te bedienen. Veel herrie van dat lekkere restaurant vlakbij hotel. Ging tot zeker 22.00 door, DJ buiten

It was a very nice experience to stay in an English inspired hotel in Sri Lanka. The hosts are very nice and helpful when a taxi was needed to visit this beautiful town. Highly recommended!

The location was great for restaurants, shops, trips, hiking. Very lovely sized room and extremely clean. We had a large comfortable bed and a surprise room upstairs. Great views from the rooms. But, it is the staff that make this a truly exceptional place to stay. We were so well looked after by everyone. Nothing was too much of a problem. The manager went to pick up my daughter’s cap after she’d left it in the taxi. Pradeep gave the best tour and would always pick us up if we’d gone out for lunch. The food was fantastic and great value. This place is a dream and we had the absolute best experience here. 10/10 honestly nothing could have been improved. Thank you all.

One of the highlights was the complimentary cab service to nearby locations, which made getting around very convenient. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available whenever we needed assistance, making us feel right at home. Heel vriendelijk personeel. De kamers zijn prima onderhouden - niet overbodig luxe, maar prima netjes en schoon. Het personeel geeft je een échte luxe hotel ervaring: een gratis upgrade naar een mooiere kamer, altijd een theetje en cake bij aankomst, gratis ritjes naar Nuwara Eliya centrum. Dat heeft ons verblijf echt gemaakt.

Nice place close enough to walk to Victoria Park and Lame Gregory. Breakfast was massive, and tasted good. Staff were really great during my stay, Ishan was very accommodating, and Pradeep was a very solid driver.

Clean room , all requirements are available, friendly and helpful staff , highly recommended .

The staff was awesome. Ishan greeted us with coffee, tea and cake and a lot of recommendations for our stay. He arranged all tours and transportation for us. We also received a free room upgrade when we arrived without asking. The rooms are very nicely arranged and were very clean. The breakfast was plentyful and tasty! Especially due to Ishan one of our best stays in Sri Lanka!

Ishan and Luksha were exceptionally obligating . They went out of the way to ensure our trip was memorable. Great location with excellent Sri Lankan breakfast. They provided afternoon tea with cakes. Worth the stay and I would highly recommend this premise.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and had very nice gardens. The staff were lovely, and the service was excellent. They were also able to organise car transfers at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide range of delicious Sri Lankan foods (there is also a western breakfast option available). It was very good value for money.

It was about a 1km walk on roads with no footpaths to get to the town centre

Walking distance to most places around the town. Wonderful staff and modern facilities.

It was a lovely surprise to check in and find out we had been upgraded to a private cabana. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even arranged a driver for the next day for us.

La struttura è molto carina e il personale è molto accogliente. La stanza (la camera familiare) era un po’ più piccola da come sembrava dalle foto ma per una notte andava benissimo. Abbastanza buona la colazione in stile occidentale. Non abbiamo provato quella tipica locale

L’acqua calda della doccia purtroppo non funzionava molto bene, ma per una doccia veloce va bene. La mattina abbiamo trovato uno scarafaggio morto vicino alla porta del bagno..

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here! The room was cute and cosy, with a little staircase leading up to another bed—such a fun touch. It was very clean and had a lovely boutique feel throughout. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It really made the whole experience even more special. Would happily stay again!

The place is surrounded by mountain view the view is absolutely stunning and it's convenient location to reach to cafes and town centre. The breakfast is extensive, the sri Lankan breakfast is soo amazing and plentiful.

The breakfast was delicious, we arrived late at night and were running late for dinner, but we were able to have our meal in the villa, and the food was lovely. Such a luxurious experience with a wonderful mountain view. This was our favourite place to stay during our holidaying in Sri Lanka

They moved us into a nicer room or their own accord for our second night, which was appreciated and a nice touch. The food was very good and overall, it felt like a homely experience. Das Zimmer war etwas klein aber sehr komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr nett und aufmerksam. In nächster Nähe gibt es ein super Restaurant, das Themparadu.

The room was okay — nothing more, nothing less. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

The shower was either too hot or too cold. The breakfast was not good; all the fruit was overripe, and the “fresh juice” was actually a ready-made, extremely sweet orange juice.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel die alles in het werk stelt om uw verblijf optimaal te laten verlopen. Grote kamer met prima bed. We hebben er gegeten en het was uitstekend.

De kamers op het gelijkvloers wat gehorig want naast de eetzaal. De oprit naar het hotel is inderdaad wat steil maar best doenbaar. Zie foto.

Ofen im Zimmer super freundlich Manager Lukshan sehr engagiert

Kostenloser Shuttle in die Stadt, abends ins Restaurant (zum Wasserfall wurden aufgrund der weiteren Entfernung 2.000 Rupien verlangt, fand ich etwas übertrieben). Alles sehr sauber, hat voll auf gepasst. Und die beiden Jungs an der Rezeption waren einfach klasse - lustiges Erlebnisse inklusive.

Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoß war leider sehr hellhörig.

Couldn’t have asked for more. Very comfortable room. 10 mins walking to centre of town or 10 mins to lake. Such friendly service and the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. 1 minute walk away is an incredible and fun restaurant for dinner. We loved our 2 night stay

A very beautiful and modern hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful; they arranged our return transport and also advised us on local attractions. There were two breakfast options to choose from: European or Sri Lankan. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan one so much that we had it throughout our entire stay. The property is a few minutes’ walk from the city center, but there are tasty restaurants nearby.
