Central Te Awamutu Modern House

Modern and clean house. Great location near town. We had a hood stay.

Would be good if there were bedside lamps in all rooms and a shelf to put things on. But I still rate this house a 10.

Everything was beyond great

Location is fantastic, easy to find and within walking distance to shops and amenities.

We did a lot of cooking and could have done with more kitchen basics like oil, baking paper, glad wrap / containers for leftovers etc.

It was warm and inviting

The hot water runs out very fast

Everything was nice & clean & we felt so “at home” as soon as we walked in

The bed mattresses were not comfortable for us. However, the cleanliness of linen, the comfy pillows & being able to use the extra blankets to soften the mattress for us, certainly made up for that minor discomfort

Warm and cozy, well supplied with necessities, great to have the washing machine. Really handy to town!

My husband said the kettle looked a bit manky inside and refused to use it.

Range-hood lights not working…led downlight in kitchen near pantry needs replacing as it flashes and is dull…

Location was great, easy to get everywhere easily. House was lovely and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a week of work in the local area.

We had a wonderful stay at this modern house in Te Awamutu. It was cosy, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for a family getaway. The location was excellent, with easy access to local shops and attractions. The house had everything we needed, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed place to stay.

Central location, tidy had everything we needed.

A big and clean house. Comfortable and nice stay. High chair was provided. Definitely a kid friendly accommodation.

It will be great if they provide 2 more trash bags coz only 1 was provided for two nights stay. And it will be better to close the door connected to garage to avoid any insects.

Location was great, house was clean and tidy and the tasteful Christmas decorations made it feel homey

It was convenient for travel to our CrossFit competition location. Plenty living room space for end of day de-briefs and private property space where we could close the gate. It was also local to the shops which was great. Loved the big cupboard spaces and shelving in the front room to store all our clothing/gears etc

There wasn’t much serve ware (salad bowls) available. The fridge space was small and we needed a bigger cooler space for our electrolytes and energy drinks for the comp we ended up using our own chilli bins and ice to chill the drinks

I loved the location. The house is spacious. The double garage and the home is stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner and loads of toilet paper. It was also very clean.

The oven didn't work. We contacted property manager to assist and was told it should work and there was nothing they could do. I eventually had to switch off the main power for the oven from the switch box and youtubed videos on how to fix the problem myself. Took me a few hours but I finally fixed it. Also was accused by cleaner of something we never done but I won't mention it.

The garden area was great for the kids as well as the location

The beds were probably the worst we have ever stayed on. One of which you could feel every single spring and my mother ended up sleeping on the sofa the second night. Unfortunately as parents to young kids, sleep is key and the very poor mattresses significantly affected our stay.

Warmed up quickly when we arrived back from the funeral. Comfy bed and hot shower. Tidy around the house, privacy and reasonable yard.

We arrived quite late and found it hard to find as section numbering seemed odd. GPS says it's on the right but poor lighting didn't help. Stating it was a back section would have helped us to locate it. As an older person I tend to panic but luckily my son persevered.

Location, house size, amenities, price.

Not quite as clean as other places we stayed at in NZ, but I'd stay here again, regardless.

Great location to town. Superette across the road was handy. House layout is great. Nice big deck area. Beds were comfy & all facilities were great.

The house is lovely, tidy and confortable. The location is fabolous, close to the town centre and lovely surroundings.

Amazing! The house had everything we needed for our stay. The host were great and accommodating. Comfortable, central and even on a main road being at the far back was still quiet. Would love to stay again.

Lovely clean property. Everything you need to have a relaxing stay. Communication with the property owner was great and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to stay in TA. Garage for the car with a remote. I would most definitely stay here again 😀

The house is modern and has all one might need. Easy self check-in. We chose it also because of the location, it’s 40 min drive to Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and 1 hr drive to Rotorua region. We loved Long Acre restaurant in the town.

Handy location, spacious and private with plenty of outdoor space. Clean, with modern appliances and plenty of kitchen and bathroom necessities.

Beds could use soft topper pads for a more comfortable sleep. A little milk and sugar would have been welcome, as well as some oil for cooking. The towels were lovely. However, a couple of facecloths would have added an extra touch.

Cosy, comfortable and excellent host. Easy to contact if we needed anything and great access to town. We absolutely loved it!

location is perfect quiet private

To get in we ended up ringing the owner and he told us the code for the key lock box, lovely man. I liked that there was good shampoo and conditioner. There was a little shop across the road, for milk and bread, it was a bit expencive thorugh, but when hanging out for a cuppa its great.

The beds were just passable could have better mattress. needed a little bin in the bathroom, a full lengh mirror would be nice. its a shame it doesnt have a 2nd toliet. A box of tissues would have been a niceaty.
