Tolle Lage. Sehr gemütlich auf dem Boot und Augustina war sehr nett. Besonders der kurze Weg zur Straßenbahn war super. 16 min bis zur Centraal Station ist unschlagbar.

The boat was so cute, it was lovely and the interior was modern. The shower was amazing! The hosts left a full instruction list of everything that we could possibly need. The boat is located on a secure sight and right next to a supermarket and public transport

This did not affect our overall view of how much we loved the boat, but a handrail when exiting the boat would have made me feel safer as I am clumsy!

Einmaliges Erlebnis, war nicht unser erstes Hausboot. Dieses hier hat den Luxus von einer eigenen Dusche und einem eigenen Bad. Das Bett ist super bequem. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank, der bei unserer Ankunft mit Softdrinks und Kaffeekeksen befüllt war. Auch Kaffee und Tee gehören zum Service. Die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und mit Herzblut Gastgeber.In der Kabine gab es sogar frische Blumen aus dem kleinen Garten auf dem Anleger. Hier lassen sich auch die Drinks nach einem Tag in der wunderschönen, einfach per S Bahn zu erreichenden, Stadt hervorragend genießen. Eine absolute Empfehlung für Selbstversorger die auch mal auf das Frühstücksbuffet im Hotel gut verzichten können und statt dessen den 1 Kaffee des Tages auf dem Wasser genießen. Dankeschön! Wenn noch einmal Amsterdam, gerne wieder dort.

Unglaublich liebevolle Einrichtung, super Lage, sehr besonderes Flair und einfach nur toll!

Un posto molto particolare dove soggiornare,la camera curata e fornita di tutto ciò che serve,pulita e ordinata.la posizione perfetta appena fuori dalla barca c’è la fermata del tram 26 che in 15 minuti arriva in stazione centrale. Quartiere residenziale ci sono supermercati e vari negozi. Augustina davvero gentile e disponibile! Il tramonto dalla barca stupendo!

L’unica piccola pecca non funzionava l’aria condizionata e purtroppo noi abbiamo preso i tre giorni più caldi di agosto e la notte abbiamo un po’ sofferto

A estrutura do barco é excelente e os anfitriões são muito atenciosos. Uma experiência típica de Amsterdam. Recomendo. A localização é excelente, perto de mercados e do ponto do VLT, poucos minutos da estação central.

Het is een fijne omgeving en een bijzondere ervaring om op een boot te slapen. Parkeergarage, winkelcentrum, tramhalte om de hoek.

Als je geen schippersbenen hebt, kan de loopbrug een beetje spannend zijn 😅. We zijn stadsgeluiden gewend (zoals tram, auto's), maar de loopbrug maakt ook geluid als je (óf iemand anders) erover heen loopt.

Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Obwohl kein Frühstück angeboten wird, bekommt man eine kleine, kostenlose Minibar. Dazu hat man jede Menge Kaffee und Tee kostenlos bereitgestellt im Zimmer. Für einen kurzen Trip, ist die Unterkunft empfehlenswert.

Wenn man aus der Dusche kommt, ist man direkt im Zimmer. Es gibt also kein separates Bad. Beim buchen, habe ich das nicht gesehen, weshalb das hier nur ein kleiner Hinweis ist.

Rengøring var helt i top. Dejlig lugt og luft i båden. drikkelse og kiks i køleskabet. Kaffemaskine og gratis kaffe. Nemt at komme rundt i Amsterdam ☀️ og dejlig med en lille terrasse udenfor og at området var aflåst. God parkering 22 euro for 3 dage. I kælderen 300 m fra båden. Rolig omgivelser. Kommer gerne igen 😊

Vi kunne lide det hele men kunne godt have brugt et lille klap bord på båden, så vi kunne sidde og spise ved det. Eller spille 😊

The 2nd time we have stayed on the EUPHRATE Houseboat, attended a festival at Kaap beach, easy walking distance and close to tram stop and only a few stops away from AMS Centraal. A unique property and a great place to sleep off the festival hangover.

The property was very unique and private! It was near a plaza that had grocery stores and restaurants. It was also very convenient and close to the train. The owner was very communicative and friendly. She supplied us with ample information. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Amsterdam!

We liked everything

The entire boat is stunning, the way the rooms kitted out and the location is great! Augustina was such a lovely host, we even took a swim in the lake with her and her daughter. It was a great experience!

Wonderful experience. The boat is fully equipped, and the host is very friendly and welcoming.

Pillows too big/strong, not my preference!

Unterkunft bietet kein Frühstück. Soweit war alles zufriedenstellend und einem Hausboot entsprechend gut.

Lovely little housebout with easy transport links into the centre. A short walk to the tram stop and very frequent trams. Very quiet and cozy accomodation. Lovely bathroom and shower! Comfy bed!

The blind next to the bed slightly hangs off the wall of the houseboat (because of the curvature of the wall). This leaves a slight gap where daylight/lights from the neighbouring building slightly get through, and is right where your head lies. Again, very small inconvenience, but I used an eye mask for this reason.

This houseboat was absolutely lovely and well located - 13 minute tram ride away from the city center, meaning the area was chill and quiet. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming (especially their adorable dog Sky!), and we really enjoyed our stay there. This place had everything we hoped for - a TV, nice shower, comfy bed and even a mini fridge, which was a lovely surprise. Overall a wonderful experience altogether.

We had a heatwave during our stay, so it was kind of hot inside the room. Luckily, there was a fan, but a functioning air conditioner would've been even better.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Comfortable clean and in an ideal location for us. Although compact it as well designed with good facilities and a comfortable bed.

The weather !

We really enjoyed our stay on the stylish and cosy Euphrate. It was such a welcome retreat after a busy day in Amsterdam, which is only a 15-minute journey by tram. The location was ideal and there are local shops for essentials too. Agustina and Martin were perfect hosts -- they were on hand if we had any problems, but otherwise we were allowed our privacy. We would highly recommend if you are looking for a unique and tranquil stay close to Amsterdam.

It was great having a fridge, kettle and coffee machine, but we felt it would lend itself to being more self-sufficient ... perhaps a way to heat food? It is more than a hotel room, but not quite self catering and, because of its quieter location, the latter option would appeal to a much wider group of people.

Côté insolite de dormir sur une péniche, la déco et la propreté du lieu. Proximité du tram qui relie le centre en 15 min.

Accès wifi complex car nous n'avons pas réussi à nous connecter malgrè que la proprio nous a beaucoup aidé dans les explications ect Logement calme mais nous n'avons pas eu de chance car il y avait des travaux en face qui commencait tôt le matin.

Loved the hosts, Augustine was amazing and accommodating (special shout out to Sky for greeting us) The room is surprisingly big and comfortable, we had everything we needed there. Location is very close to the city center (15 mins by tram) but far enough so we can sleep without any noise

The only downside for me was the steep access to the boat. I managed with no issues but was a bit scary (this may be a me issue because I am afraid of heights and can't swim). But overall the experience was amazing.

It was very comfortable and a great location. The hosts were wonderful (great communication and quick responses to our questions). The train was a few minutes walk away and 15 minutes to Amsterdam Central. There was a great little bagel place for breakfast/brunch and a grocery store just a few minutes away. There are also decent restaurants in the area for the nights we didn't want to eat dinner downtown.

A very nice experience with all luxuries and amenities , but on the water. Central, close to shops tram to central station and Augistina left snacks in our fridge and flowers to welcome us. Highly recommended.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Die Lage ist optimal. Ruhig und mit der Straßenbahn in 10 Minuten zum Zentrum. Ein Abstecher nach Ijburg in den kleinen Hafen ist ebenfalls lohnenswert. Gute Gastronomie vor Ort. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Schiff mit toller Ausstattung.

Es war ganz besonders auf dem Hausboot zu schlafen das toll ausgestattet ist mit eigener minibar und kleinem Kühlschrank. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schick und gemütlich.

Todo perfecto, es una experiencia muy distinta, estar a bordo, con vistas hermosas y a la vez muy cómodo, moderno y ordenado. Con detalles bien pensados como el café, un minibar, una ducha moderna, área de descanso impecable.

Ambientazione molto particolare e suggestiva. La casa galleggiante e' stabilissima anche con maltempo. La stanza e' molto pulita e curata. Gli spazi a disposizione sono piu' grandi di quelli normalmente disponibili su una barca. A disposizione per la colazione c'e' la macchina del caffe' e il bollitore per il the. Collegamento con la stazione centrale tramite tram 26 che passa ogni 5-6 minuti ed e' a pochi metri dalla location. Dalla stazione centrale poi si raggiunge molto facilmente l'aeroporto con il treno frequentissimo. L'accesso alla barca e' tramite una passerella piuttosto stretta, non adatta per persone con difficolta' fisiche.

I stayed on the boat house in Amsterdam as a solo traveller and had such a lovely experience. The host was absolutely lovely and very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The directions provided were very clear and easy to follow. Getting from Amsterdam Central Station to the boat house by tram was straightforward, and the instructions for accessing the jetty and getting onto the boat were excellent. As I was travelling alone, I was initially a little concerned about safety, but I felt completely safe the entire time. The location also has great connections to the city, making it easy to get around. The room itself was lovely and very comfortable. The shower was really nice and the toilet was separate. The amenities were excellent, with snacks and drinks in the fridge which was a really nice touch, as well as plenty of tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable, there was a TV with Netflix, good heating, and the decor was beautiful and clearly done with care. There were a few small signs of wear and tear, but I stayed in winter and the weather was awful, so that was very understandable. The lighting was quite dim, but it added to the cosy and comfortable atmosphere, especially in the evenings. Overall, it was a unique, cosy and memorable stay and I would absolutely recommend it, especially for solo travellers.

Sehr liebevoll und clever eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und gross und lang genug für grosse Menschen (1,95m). Die Deckenhöhe passt dann auch noch knapp 😀. Die Dusche ist grandios. Kaffeemaschine und Kühlschrank sind ideal für Frühstückszubehör. Supermarkt ist 5min zu Fuss entfernt. Ebenfalls nur 5min braucht man zur Strassenbahn. Sie fährt tatsächlich in 15min bis zum Hauptbahnhof. Und das alle 10min.! Es ist wirklich was besonderes in einer schiffskajüte zu nächtigen. Typische Boots- und Wassergeräusche sind zu hören. Aber das ist ja das besondere. Für kalte Zeiten gibt es ein Holzzkaminofen und eine kleinen elektrischen Heizer. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eigentlich nichts. Man sollte bedenken, dass natürlich nur ein schmaler Steg als Aufgang zum Schiffsdeck ist. Es ist keine Gangway wie auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff. Wenn man grosses Gepäck hat, dann bitte den Vermieter kontaktieren wegen Unterstützung. Sehr hilfsbereit.

Amazing stay here! The boat was beautiful and amazing value. The location was only a 2 minute walk to the tram and the host advised us which trams to take. Prefect.

El colchón y almohadas están un poquito incómodas.

Super mooie nieuwe kamer. Super aardige beheerster. Prima bereikbaar. Parkeren in de parkeergarage op zo’n 250 meter.

Is heerlijk om te overnachten, maar minder geschikt om de dag te verblijven. Dat is vast anders als de zon schijnt en er buiten voldoende ruimte op de steiger is.

Very comfortable room with good facilities such as a really comfortable bed, great shower, fridge (with some goodies), kettle, hairdryer. Private entrance. Easy to get to by tram from the centre of Amsterdam and seems to be in a nice area with some shops and restaurants. A friendly host who communicated with us well before, during and after our stay.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft! Das Zimmer war sehr bequem und warm und gut ausgestattet für einen Wochenendaufenthalt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Weg zur Innenstadt aber war trotzdem ok

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt auf dem Hausboot! Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam. Alles war perfekt vorbereitet, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Besonders toll war, dass wir sogar etwas früher einchecken durften, das war sehr entgegenkommend und hat den Start in den Urlaubs enorm erleichtert. Das Hausboot selbst ist gemütlich, ruhig gelegen und bietet alles, was man für eine entspannte Auszeit braucht. Eine absolute Empfehlung ! 🚤✨

Hôte adorable, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Très jolie péniche, le logement est parfait, il ne manque rien.

Es war von Anfang bis Ende super ! Tolle zuvorkommende Gastgeberin die einen voran schon mit informationen versorgte wie z.b parken. Das Zimmer ist mit viel Liebe ausgestattet und total gemütlich. Es gibt einen kleinen Kühlschrank indem schon Getränke bereitgestellt wurden, eine kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher , schönes modernes Badezimmer. Das highligt war das Kapitänshäuschen dort konnte man Abends gemütlich einen Wein trinken. Wir hatten überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln . Danke für den tollen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt.

Trotz sehr schöner, ruhiger Lage ist das Centrum gut erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeit und samstags, ein Wochenmarkt, mit frischen Lebensmitteln, direkt um die Ecke. Nette Gastgeber, wir würden wieder dort buchen.

Everything! The design of the accommodation was quirky, but perfect for the space.. the location was very near a tram line with trams every 10mins to central station (10min journey). Sitting outside in the evening with a bottle of wine was lovely listening to the ducks and the sounds of the boats. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.. couldn’t have been better - highly recommended and would love to return ourselves

The accommodation was excellent. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet and private. Agustina and Martin were very efficient and friendly and nothing was too much bother. The Euphrate is very well situated to the tram that takes you quickly into central Amsterdam. I will definitely stay again!

Camera adorabile, molto bella, funzionale e pulita! Host gentilissima e disponibile se c'è bisogno. Nave leggermente fuori dal centro, ma decisamente comoda con i mezzi (e vicinissimo c'è anche un supermercato, se serve). Alla fine ci è dispiaciuto lasciarla... Esperienza super consigliata!

The accomodations is really great, the beds are ultra comfortable, theres plenty of space however if you are really tall, be careful not to hit your head, otherwise it really is amazing, there's a tram nearby that can take you to the city center. The host was extremely kind with us, she also has the sweetest dog ever! Can only recommend this place. :)

Loved the uniqueness of the boat, stayed in the old captains quarters, access via the wheelhouse made a very interesting stay

Absolutely loved this place. The boat is beautifully decorated, the owners are the most adorable couple living life us corporate people crave for and Sky, beautiful pup Sky. It’s just a 15-min tram ride from the central station and has supermarkets and restaurants arounds. Would 100% stay again!

Such a beautiful boat!!!! The hosts were so so kind and I would 100% stay there again! It’s in such a convenient location, a 15 minute tram ride from the central. The room we stayed in was lovely. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was AMAZING and there was lots and lots of storage. It made my trip staying here!!! (The photos were from after our stay hence why the room is the tiniest bit messy!)
