The room with twin single cots did not have the same seating arrangement as other rooms. Should at least match with the other rooms

It was pointless to travel 35 kms from Airport and spend Rs 1250 in cab, when it was just for overnight stay before proceeding to Munnar. Plus Breakfast was very limited due to LPG issue.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Die Lage war gut, Nähe der Fähre, Nähe der Metro. Fenster zum öffnen, Klima und Ventilator und meistens heißes Duschwasser. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück, war gut, aber man musste alles extra ordern, dann gab es auch schwarzen Tee oder Kaffee, Omelett, Marmelade, sonst nur indisches, sehr scharfes Essen
Die Zimmer sind extrem klein. Ich war alleine und musste das Bett verschieben, dass ich meinen Koffer öffnen konnte. Kein mosiktstecker und Moskitonetz. Mein Begleiter, im eigenen Zimmer, hatte nach der ersten Nacht am ganzen Körper rote Pusteln, das Bett wurde getauscht, aber man sich nicht mehr wohl gefühlt. Man bekommt einen Link zum Bezahlen, aber kein Mensch Klick heute auf irgendwelchen links, weil es immer danke sein könnte. Man kann letztlich mit Kreditkarte bezahlen.

Worst hotel ever stayed in Kochi. Not recommend at all. Fungus and mould everywhere. Very unclean bathroom and taps and shower heads are full of mould. Staffs are very unprofessional. Morning buffet breakfast is horrible and served chill (even idly, idyappam, upma etc)

Reviewed Nov 22, 2025Prime location, easily reachable from.the railway station. Also a quiet area and walkable distance from Central square mall. The breakfast was excellent. Tasty Kerala dishes were served.
The room was not spacious but OK. Hot water was not available in the morning. From hot water tap also only normal water available.. Another bad experience is the receptionist not attending the call. I called the hotel number and the receptionist at 10:30pm from outside but nobody picked up the phone.

Reviewed Nov 8, 2025The location at a walking distance from the ferry station to Fort Kochi. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and courteous. The room, despite not big, has all you need for a 4 to 5-day sojourn.
The hotel probably had its heyday ten years ago. Now, the facilities could use a good refresh: paintwork, curtains, electrical outlets, etc. Another point is the absence of continental breakfast options at the restaurant but I can understand it as I felt to be the only Westerner in Kochi during my week of visit…

Reviewed Oct 28, 2025The staff were very good. The breakfast can be improved upon. We stayed for 2 days and it was the same for 2 days . The comon toilet, near the dining hall was very dirty . The lift had a a peculiar musty smell,which the staff tried to rectify but continued to smell. I stopped using the lift and used the stairs.The room given was small and we had booked for 3 adults in advance. It was barely adequate for 2 adults. I hope the breakfast quality and variety will be improved upon and the common toilet, used by many,will be kept clean and the musty smell in the lift will be removed soon . Best Wishes

No toilet paper, fridge not working, advertised breakfast not available, e.g. no coffee or tea, fruit or toast, (second day they had some bread, jam and a fork to apply, normally wouldn't worry me too much, but ... payment system via a Third Party website (extra commission, double check that, maybe it's fixed). Reception often unattended. I could mention a few more issues, but that should do.

From the onset, the behavior of staff was very rigid - no room service even for small things like tea. The room ceiling above the pillow was abnormally down, giving a feeling of congestion. In the washroom, the wash Basin was such that water leaked to your feet, leaving a very bad feeling. Breakfast was included but it was so pathetic. Every dish was cold. Sugar was filled with moisture. I had to opt for bread and butter. Even bread could not be toasted.
