My wife and I have travelled to over 30 Countries and have never experienced such warm hospitality. We had the impression that our hosts genuinely wanted the best for us. Even going as far as teaching my wife how to make their delicious Dahl. We will be coming back to Hotel High Ground and highly recommend it to visitors wanting to enjoy Sarangkot.

La chambre avec de grandes fenêtres et le balcon qui donnait sur le lac, magnifique. Les repas proposés étaient très bons. Les propriétaires sont gentils et disponibles pour aider. La proximité du point de vue pour le Sunrise.

Brilliant views, great value for money room with a balcony. Food was excellent and dirt cheap , very friendly owners . Better than staying in Pokhara, wish I stayed longer

C'était parfait rien à dire. La vue est à couper le souffle. Les propriétaires sont adorables et la nourriture est excellente. Ils sont extrêmement gentil. C'est un excellent hotel pour fuir la ville de pokhara et être un peu plus dans les montagnes.

Rien juste pas de clim mais un petit ventilateur.

Fear is very expensive according to hotels facilities. So small rooms. hotel is zero expectations . Nothing reached in booking.com standerd. It's a worst experience for my stay..the hotel owners took RS.2500. He called it's was a Delux room. But there wasn't aircondition. How it possible to pay for Delux rent......? He asked me Rs.2700 . For a night.

バルコニーなしの部屋に泊まりましたが眺め最高。土足禁止なので清潔。お湯も出る。ケトルあり。ホテルのレストランはおいしく、夜景や天気のいい日はヒマラヤの一部も見える。スタッフみんないい人。もう1回泊まりに行きたい。一番いい行き方はアンナプルナケーブルカーの往復券を買うとコスパ良く行ける

I loved every second there, thay made me feel like I'm part of there family and they are sweet one. Really helpful, very honest, cooking amazing food ,wonderful view. I was in tears when I left.

Dieses Haus hat viele Vorteile: Familiär geführt, eine sehr gute Lage. Wenige Gehminuten zum Seilbahn und zum Aussichtspunkt mit dem Elefanten. Sehr schöner Bergblick, Annapurna und Phewa See Blick von Balkon und Terrasse. Direkter Eingang von Straße aus. Restaurant im Haus mit durchgehend warme Küche. Ich habe dort jeden Tag ausgezeichnet vegan gegessen. Die Besitzerin/Köchin wusste was Vegan bedeutet. Ich musste gar nichts erklären. Die Eigentümer sind sehr herzlich, behilflich und ehrlich freundlich. Mein Bett war sehr bequem. Ich hatte immer warmes Wasser. Ich liebte dem Ausblick von meinem Balkon und Zimmerfenstern. Adler und Paragleiter zu beobachten war toll. Mein Tipp: unbedingte mehrere Nächte buchen. Dann ist euch der Blick auf Annapurna Massiv gesichert. Ein Traum. Ich bedanke mich für alles. Hoffentlich bis bald.

Es gibt leider auch negatives. Ein einzeln gehaltener Fisch in Mini Aquarium ohne entsprechenden Aquaristik Geräte. Ich war jeden Tag sehr traurig bei diesem Anblick. Ich habe die Besitzer des Gasthauses angesprochen und bin mir sicher das diese sympathische Menschen es unverzüglich ändern werden. Dankeschön dafür.

This place is paradise, everything, from the view, the location but most important the people working there, is a beautiful family business where the grandfather the son, the wife, the grandson are around and they can't be more lovely and helpful with everything. They even took us to the next stop on our trip. The food was unbelievably cheap and nice, and the views from the rooftop were breathtaking. Please if you visit Sarangkot do not hesitate where to stay, this is the place. Absolutely brilliant. 10 out of 10

Très belle vue depuis l'hotel sur le lac, les lieux sont très propres et la nourriture est excellente. Lit confortable, salle de bain impeccable avec eau chaude et pression. A 3 minutes du point de vue en hauteur sur les annapurnas. La famille est super acceuillante et on se sent comme à la maison.

Loved this place! Felt so relaxed, peaceful and at home here that I extended my stay almost as soon as I arrived. Room was comfortable & clean. Shower was probably the best I've had in Nepal, and the food was always delicious and served with a smile (such a happy family atmosphere here). Even though the mountains were clouded over for most of my stay, I still loved the balcony and looking out the windows of my room. When the mountains did come out, wow!

I had a wonderful time in a family-like atmosphere during my three-day stay for rest after trekking Everest. Thanks to Bikash couple and the kitchen couple for the delicious food and their services. Also kindly helped me get to my next destination. I plan to visit again next autumn.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect and offers a stunning panoramic view that was a highlight of the trip. On top of the scenery, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. A great experience overall—highly recommended!

The owner suggested us to visit Jomsom and arranged two permits for me and my wife,The real cost was 1000 NR but he got 1500 for each ticket,also we paid the cost by debit card and they charged additional 3% as commission which is unfair.

This hotel is located just below the Pokhara hilltop viewpoint. It only takes about 6 to 10 minutes on foot to reach the viewpoint, making it a great choice for enjoying mountain views and watching the sunrise. The location is really excellent. The only shortcoming is about transportation. The hotel should clearly inform guests in advance about the convenience of getting there. If the hotel does not offer pick-up service, it will be a bit inconvenient to reach the place on your own. You can only take a taxi or motorcycle taxi, and the fare will be doubled. Other than that, the facilities are good.

Das familiengeführte Hotel liegt zentral im Ort und hat einen ebenerdigen Zugang, was sehr praktisch ist, wenn man mit Gepäck ankommt. Mein Zimmer verfügte über zwei Fensterfronten sowie einen Balkon mit zwei Stühlen und einem direkten Ausblick auf den See. Gemütlich ist die möblierte Dachterrasse, auf der man in einer ruhigen Atmosphäre das Frühstück genießt. Dabei lassen sich gut die kreisenden Greifvögel und die vorbeischwebenden Paraglider beobachten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der exzellente Service der Hotelinhaber und des Personals. Sie geben stets ihr Bestes und erfüllen individuelle Wünsche der Gäste. Ich verbrachte 10 Tage im High Ground in und fühlte mich rundum wohl.

Perfect spot if you want to stay in a quiet place and nearby the viewpoint in Sarangkot in the morning, only ,10 minute walk. When you have a clear sky you have breakfast with the mountains. We booked the room with balcony and we loved the view. The bed was so comfortable! And the shower worked well. Very friendly staff.

It is a beautiful place above Pokara with an amazing view. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed, hot shower and the owners were very nice, they helped us with a taxi from Pokara, and everything we needed for trekking a few days into the mountains. We highly recommend this place!

What a wonderful place. Very nice owner and the kitchen staff. Friendly and attentive. The room was perfect, lots of light lots of air and the view can't be beat. A great place to relax which I did. Very close to the lookout for the sunrise veiw. I would certainly stay again.

Amazing view of Pokhara from our hotel room balcony and an even better view at the top level (above our room) - where the restaurant was as well :) The hotel owners family were all so kind! Arsenal fans as well hehe :) Hospitality was amazing! The kindest people :) Only a 5-10 min walk to the main view point from the top of Sarangkot - beautiful sunrise, sunset view of the himilayas ✅ Food and drinks were delicious ✅ Great suggestions for walks/things to do around Pokhara/Sarangkot ✅ Room was cozy with warm doona, nice carpet and beautiful morning sunlight ✅ We already miss Sarangkot :( but I’m sure we’ll be back soon one day we had the best time.

We truly loved our stay here. The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute drive from the cable car station, and the free pick-up and drop-off service made everything so easy. The sunrise view tower is also very close, which was a big plus. What really made this place special was the hospitality. The owners are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, and they communicate very well in English. From the rooftop restaurant, we enjoyed a stunning sunset that we’ll remember for a long time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and hot water worked perfectly at all times. We had to reschedule our stay, and the way they handled it—with patience and genuine care—meant a lot to us. The food was delicious and could be served in the room, which added to the comfort. Every room had a beautiful view, making mornings and evenings equally special. We would happily stay here again, mainly because of the wonderful people running the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great hospitality and excellent value for money.

The complimentary breakfast was simple—eggs, brown toast, and tea or coffee. Additional items like sausages or potatoes are available at an extra cost, unlike some hotels in Pokhara where they are included. That said, the quality was fine and the overall experience more than made up for it.

Eigenaren en personeel zijn ontzettend vriendelijk & behulpzaam. Ze helpen je graag en er wordt met liefde gekookt. Kreeg een kamer aan de overkant van de straat. Net nieuw, lekker warme douche en een heerlijk bed. Top locatie vlakbij Sarangkot viewpoint.

Het rolluik wat 's nachts open en dicht gaat maakt ontzettend veel lawaai.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel High Ground Inn in early December 2025. The hotel is located pretty close to the Sarangkot View tower, which means you have to walk for less than 5 minutes in the morning to get a glimpse of the sunrise. The room was spacious with a cosy bed, and the breakfast was wholesome. Not to mention the staff was really helpful.

サランコットに泊まったのは3回目でしたが、ここが一番食事が美味しいと感じました。 部屋も綺麗で、シャワーのお湯がすぐ出るのもよかったです。 住み込みで働いている若い夫婦が可愛らしかったです。旦那さんは穏やかだけどとても人懐っこくて、隙あらばお話しようと近づいてきます。笑（将来日本へ行きたいらしく、日本語を教えてあげると喜びます。）

デラックスダブルルームはそうでもなかったのですが、ツインルームはかなり冷え込みました。 部屋によるのだと思います。

Lovely family run small hotel, so welcoming and friendly. The views across Pokhara lake and town were amazing, especially sunset. The food was home cooked and delicious 😋. It's an older accommodation but kept in good condition.

We had such a lovely stay , the view from our room was amazing and the location was perfect . We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious and very well priced, the hotel is owned by a local family and they generally care about your stay and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed talking to them and also the staff about their lives , they spoke very good English so conversation was easy, would have no hesitation returning and would recommend to anyone.

Het hotel was gunstig gelegen dichtbij de kabelbaan vanuit Pokhara en nog geen 10 minuten van de view tower. Prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De kamer had een prachtig uitzicht op het Lake Phewa en de Fishtail. Het personeel was vriendelijk. De dame maakte een lekker ontbijt voor ons. Aanrader na de sunrise is de komoot wandeling over de hilltop, waarbij je langs de startplek van het paragliden komt.

Great views from rooms & the roof terrace. Really good food. And a mere 5-10 minutes walk from both the Viewing Tower & The Cable Car. They showed us the balcony room If we wanted to upgrade for a few dollars more and so glad they did cause this room is fantastic! We ended up staying another night Breakfast included is the eggs on toast, or you can put that 250 towards another breakfast if you like, which is what I did, fantastic!

距离观景台350米，10分钟就能抵达观景台，不用大早晨起床从下面打车来，非常棒。景观极好，俯瞰费瓦湖，带阳台的房间可以看日落。空气干净，环境安静，睡个好觉。我们在这里住了三天，老板爸爸帮忙拦公交车去城里，员工热情，厨师小哥非常棒记住了我们的口味，做饭认真。老板娘太热情了，总是很周到。帮我们预订旅游车票，帮忙叫车，真是太棒了。

The hotel location is good and convenient. The views from the rooftop restaurant and the room balcony are stunning.  But the thing i liked most was the services. All the staff were very nice and helpful.  Thanks to the owner, he provided excellent services.  Prior to our trip,  he answered all my questions promptly via Whatsapp. During our stay, he arranged our paragliding pick up at the hotel and dropped off service at our Pokhara hotel. We had a wonderful stay at his hotel and great paragliding

Had a great stay at High Ground Inn. The room was clean and the balcony had a beautiful view over the mountains. Wifi and complementary breakfast was good. Most importantly, everyone in the staff was really friendly and I also got a ride back to Pokhara. Perfect for a little visit to Sarangkot.
