We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in Sarangkot. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly at home. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and everything was perfectly clean. The views are absolutely stunning – from our room we could see Phewa Lake below, and from the balcony we enjoyed breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountains. We would definitely stay here again!

Staying at Panoramic View Guest House was more than just a stay. It truly felt like being at home. Everything was perfect: the stunning view, the comfort of the room, and the delicious food made with care. But what touched us the most were the hosts , so welcoming, so caring, , warm, kind, and genuinely sweet. Their hospitality came straight from the heart. We originally planned to stay for two nights, but the place felt so good that we extended our stay by one more day. After completing our Poon Hill Trek, we didn’t even think twice ,we came back here again because it felt like we are coming back home. This is one of those rare places that stays with you even after you leave. We are truly grateful for the memories and highly, highly recommend this beautiful guest house to anyone visiting Sarangkot. 🤍✨️🤍

Paradise over Pokhara! The room is incredibly beautiful with a huge terrace over Pokhara! Extremely relaxing. The food was also really good and the guest family very nice and gentle!

Most amazing view out over Pokhara Lake and surrounds. Spacious comfortable clean room with large windows to make the most of the views. Breakfast was served in garden over looking the lake, it was tasty and generous. A wonderful place to come and relax. There are cafes nearby and its such a peaceful place.

Room was big and spacious with spectacular view and bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was good as well.

Vehicle doesn't go all the way to the property gate because there is only a walking path and it is a few minute walk . We had few luggages,but the property owner was nice enough to send someone to carry them.

Absolutely the best stay in Sarangkot. Peaceful, away from the chaotic lakeside area but still close enough to cable car to go down into the valley. Moti snd Mia are excellent hosts, very caring, communicate well and do their best. Superb views. Food is amazing too! Very safe for solo female travellers. They arrange taxis. Would highly recommend!

We arrived at the Panoramic View Hotel after a short one-minute walk down from the main road. Just a small note: the path is a little steep, so keep that in mind if you’re carrying a heavy backpack or rolling luggage. We were really lucky that the owner gave us one of his best rooms on the top floor — with a breathtaking 270° view. The room itself is spacious, simply furnished, and has a balcony. Honestly, the view says it all: on clear days you can see the Annapurna (from the terrace), and when it’s cloudy, you still get a sweeping look over the city, valley, lake, and even people paragliding. Absolutely stunning! Breakfast was simple but delicious, with portions that were more than generous. One evening, they even asked if we’d like dinner and served a home-cooked dal bhat that was really good. You can choose to eat in the dining area downstairs or upstairs, where the views keep you company. Note: Meals come with reasonable charge. ⭐ 200% for the view and hospitality!

Che dire, una vista mozzafiato! La nostra camera era davvero spaziosa e piena di vetrate, stupendo. Pulita e accogliente. Buono il ristorante e la colazione.

Location is tooo good. Couldn’t have asked for a better view. Cozy place, very peaceful & has a raw vibe to it. The owners, especially Mr. Lal was really welcoming & generous. Great food as well. Rooms were neat and clean & comfortable with huge windows offering truly amazing view of Pokhara.

A hundred thank you Moti and Maya for our stay with you. We ended up spending 9 days with Moti, because we did a trekking with him, and slept in the hotel for 5 nights. We could have stayed even longer if there weren't more fun things to do in Nepal.... What people of gold you are, so helpful, sweet and humble. Thanks for all the horribly delicious food (daal-bat!), the nice, spacious room, all the help and service and the amazing trekking we got to do together. You guys are the very best hosts ever. If you go to Pokhara, sleep here, in Sarangkot. A little higher, much quieter and with beautiful mountain views. 100% worth a visit! A true gem by the lake in Pokhara! The room was stunning, with an incredible 360° view over the lake. The guesthouse is run by a lovely family who are always attentive and caring. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious — every dish was a treat! An unforgettable experience, I highly recommend it.

Motilal and family were very gracious hosts. The meals they prepared were excellent. Maya's Dal Bhat for dinner was the best we had in Nepal! Location was spectacular and just a short walk from the lookout tower where we could watch the sunrise over the Annapurna's.

We had a delightful week in Sarangkot and there no issues with this wonderful family owned business.

It was quite a hike getting to the hotel which we didn't realize until we reach there. So with luggages it was difficult to getting out from the hotel each time

If you like to live in mountains and enjoy the view from above the mountain this is best hotel.It is really clean hotel .It is run by the family themselves so they are the staff .They are very friendly and environment around is good .We really had good food .. specially dal bhat was really tasty breakfast was also good .since it is sarangkot and you might need taxi to travel around Pokhara then they have it as well ..as long as I stayed in this I used that taxi service and taxi fare was also reasonable

There is nothing that i didn't like ..you should just know where are you going to stay .u cannot expect huge facilities in sarangkots because they have just started accepting modernization.

I cannot say enough kind things about Moti and Maya. They are truly the most wonderful people, so friendly and deeply gifted at being hosts, so warm and thoughtful and welcoming. The location with its views is enough to make this guesthouse a true gem -- but it is the people who run it, who are always so pleased to see you, so ready to talk to you and help you, that make it unforgettable.

My only wish is that there had been a heater of some sort in the room, as it gets quite cold at night. Besides that -- no complaints!

I wholeheartedly recommend the Panoramic View Guest House. The location is ideal—just far enough from the bustling, noisy traffic of Pokhara's city center to offer a peaceful and tranquil retreat, yet close enough to easily explore. It’s the perfect place to relax. . I stayed in a beautiful, well-appointed suite with a spacious terrace, offering a stunning 360° panoramic view. From there, I could admire not only the breathtaking mountains but also the serene Pokhara Valley and the sparkling Phewa Lake. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home, as though I were visiting old friends. They were also full of helpful suggestions for trekking routes and activities. The paragliding spot is just around the corner, adding an extra thrill to the experience. Without a doubt, the next time I'm in Pokhara, I will return to the Panoramic View Guest House. I had a wonderful stay here before and after my trek. A quiet getaway from Pokhara's beautiful but busy streets, this location is spectacular, with stunning views of the mountains and surrounding region. With just a short walk, you reach a fantastic sunrise viewpoint. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and Moti and his family are the most lovely hosts. I truly felt at home and cared for throughout my stay, and I look forward to returning in the future!

The view from here was beautiful! We stayed in a deluxe room, and it was so worth it. We had big windows that looked down on both the city and the lake. From the balcony outside, we could see the Himalayas. This was such a beautiful, peaceful retreat!

View from my room was super amazing, we watched sunrise from our hotel balcony and the city view was incredible too. The owner (Dai) was super helpful and friendly. He ensured everything is taken care of. Food was great too. So peaceful and quiet, couldn’t ask for more.

What a great place to stay! Incredible views, a cozy common space that makes you feel at home, and probably the cleanest place I’ve stayed in while in Nepal. Moti is a great host; we spent an evening chatting, which I really enjoyed. I was served both dinner and breakfast, so I didn’t have to worry about food. I rented a motorcycle in Pokhara, so getting in and out was easy. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to rest, I highly recommend staying here.

Best guesthouse experience ever!! The location is exceptional, quiet and away from the road, with wall-to-wall windows in the guest rooms, overlooking breathtaking views. The cool breezes were wonderful up in this high location. The kind family members (Moti lal, Sapana and Maya) treated us as honored guests. The home-cooked food was outstanding. All for an extremely reasonable price. The staircase to the main view tower starts a few feet from the guesthouse. To get to Lakeside, you can walk 5-10 minutes, take the cable car, and then take the free shuttle. We are so happy we chose this lovely place for our Pokhara visit!!

Honestly cannot think of one thing I would change.

Beautiful rooms with amazing views when the sky clears up (which is not always the case). The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable.

A little hard to access as not directly accessible from the road so we had to carry our luggage on a typical stone path with stairs to access the guest house.

The family that runs this guest house is incredibly kind and lovely. They made the stay exceptional. The location is outside of Pokhara and so it's quiet, away from crowds/tourists, and above the hazy pollution of town.

I loved everything about this stay! The only thing that travelers should be aware of is that the property is a short walk from the road. This is Nepal, so there is a lot of terrain and travelers have to be prepared to walk about 100m along an uneven sidewalk, at times with a steep downhill, with their luggage.

This was a great find with amazing views. The couple that own the lodge were very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I stayed in the family room which has the best views.

This property is beautiful and quiet. Up in the hills away from the hustle and bustle of Lakeside in Pokhara.

The location is excellent. The family running the business is very friendly and welcoming. The whole place as a whole feels very cosy.

The Deluxe Double 201 has the best views of the lake and mountains with windows on both sides and access to both a side balcony and the main terrace. 50m or so downhill of the main road the hotel is in a great location. It's run by a lovely family who can't do enough for you and it's very peaceful. It's about 1km from the cable car station and right by the steps up to the sunrise tower. I would definitely recommend it for a night or two away from busy Lakeside.

Lovely stay in an amazing spot overlooking Pokhara and the lake. A short walk to the Sarangkot view point and other walks along the ridge. Moti and his family were perfect hosts and lovely food. Would recommend to anyone keen for a few days away from the town hussle and bussle!

The incharge person was very rude, and was asking for extra money for 2 days, as we had canceled an booking prior one day before, then to he was asking for commission and 1 day extra money, his words wer “ apke wajase hamara ek din ka business gaya, aap kal nai aye tho uska paisa aaj bhi dena hoga or aaj ka stay ka bhi extra commission ke sath dena hoga, And was shouting like mad, This is not done with booking.com team as the property has good rating 9.8 so we prefer to book it, but the management was 0. I had waste my money for cab as well, we came all the way from Mumbai, India to this Idiot place, I’m shocked that team like Booking.com is giving the place such an good rating, Please look after it

Panoramic View Guest House Sarangkot got perfect location that captures all attractions.. Fewa lake view, Annapurna mountain view, captivating sunrise and sunset, close to cable car, parasailing. Its like shop in one stop. Not to mention the genuine and kind service that the management extend to its guests. Superb!

Absolutely beautiful guest house with the most amazing views. The family are so kind and such wonderful hosts. I had booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4 nights. I really didn't want to leave this slice of paradise. I even shed tears as I walked away. Really hope to come back again soon. Thanks so much Moti and family x

Absolutely amazing home stay with an amazing panoramic view of the Phewa lake and also the mountains. You can see the sunrise on the mountains from the bed which is like cherry on the top. Mr. Moti and his family runs the place who are very welcoming host and always up to help to make your experience a unique one. Will definitely look forward to come back to this place for a longer stay!

Everything was perfect ! We were welcoming with tea, which was much appreciated after the hike from Pokhara :) The owner and his family are so nice. The bed was super comfortable and the view from the hotel amazing ! We could see the sunset and the sunrise.

One of the best stays we ever had. During our worldtrip, my wife and me made a stop in Nepal, and so we choose this to have a first impression of the mountainside of Nepal. It was de best decision for a guesthouse, that we could have made. Absolute stunning view, cozy rooms and especially and most important, a very lovely, caring family, who were always there to help. Delicious breakfast and also the option to have dinner for very reasonable prices. Make sure to try. We don't regret any of our four days in Sarangkot. Such a great hospitality. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much to Moti and his family for such a wonderful stay. I came here for one night so I could watch both the sunrise and sunset as it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the view point. I would highly recommend staying here, the rooms are clean, food is tasty, price is very reasonable and the views are incredible. It was great chatting to Moti and hearing about how he built the guesthouse from hand and has been adding to it over the years. I cannot say a single bad thing about this accommodation. The hospitality by Moti and his family was exceptional, the views (especially sunrise) is an absolute experience and the food was really good as well. Thoroughly enjoyed this place and hope to be back in the not too distant future!
