Superview Lodge - Family-Run, Himalayan Sunrise

Family run little hotel, beautifully situated above the city, away from the noise. We woke up to a spectacular Himalayan sunrise. Walk out of the courtyard onto the steps leading to the famous viewpoint, observation tower and huge Ganeisha statue, to see spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. There are numerous restaurants located along the steps including one at the top that has a nice view and really good service. If you plan ahead, the curry chicken cooked by the Hotel is excellent.

i LOVE the view and the quietness. We stayed here after our trekking to Mardi Himal and def what we need. I splurge myself with hot bathtub. This lodge run by the family and it nice to see that. The room is clean enough and they provided breakfast in bed due to we were so tired to go to the cafe.

The location is so far away from Lakeside Pokhara and the taxi ride is quite expensive even i booked through InDrive, the driver still wanted to negotiate with me on the fare. So much hustle! The hot water at the bathtub is not that hot and the next day we saw few black bugs (refer picture). For the price that i paid, they didnt even bother to provide toiletries, no soap no shampoo. I've told the staff but they said yes and later still didnt do anything. They also have few of miscommunication especially on the fare of laundry and other stuff. The service is very slow. We waited for our food for quiet sometime. I hope the family listen to the review and improve in the future.

Very quiet, and spacious room, in the corner facing the snowy mountain and lake, during night, the view is stunning. And the flower outside the window is the best part of this room. So peaceful and relaxing. The vibe of this property is so elegant and I would assume it takes a lot energy for the owner to keep it. So definitely recommend it, just a bit feel details to pay attention to, then it’s perfect. Thanks

The bathroom was fine, but could be better. The location would not work if you have trouble walking or carrying luggage. But if you're ok with this, the location is amazing.

The property is in a beautiful location on top of the hill from where you can see sunrise and sunset. Unfortunately, during my visit, the skies were cloudy and filled with pollution, but I would definitely visit this hotel again at a better time of the year when the skies are clear. The staff here are amazing and we’ll ensure to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The property is more remote since it’s on top of the mountain. If you have to go to the city to Pokhara sometimes motorbike or taxi drivers either don’t want to come here or they will ask for a higher fee.

The staffs there were friendly, always offering help. The view was great if the weather was good.

The shower wasn’t working properly and the staff there told me to use the kettle to boil water and shower which was ridiculous. Finally the problem was solved but I was frozen.

If you have more luggage then plan keeping it in the car as lodge access is by stair case and taking heavy luggage can be very very problematic

The room was clean. The place was very calm and peaceful. Just what I wanted. The view from the balcony & washroom was top notch. A family runs this lodge. They were very nice & supportive. They gave their best. As a solo traveller it was very comfortable and safe.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

It is a small lodge nested near the viewpoint of Srangkot, which turned out to be an absolute lovely night for us. During our 10 day trip in Nepal, we chose to stay one night in Sarangkot on our trip from Pokhara to Ghandruk. We arrived at Superview Lodge by cable car, which is a 05 minute walk away from the lodge. The lodge is run by a family, the son who runs it now speaks good English. We had a warm welcome, and they tried to accommodate all our requests. Food was freshly cooked and 10/10. We booked the best rooms available and absolutely loved them. There is a beautiful view of the whole city of Pokhara from the rooms and the sunrise can be seen from the room. The famous Sarangkot viewpoint is around 5 minutes away. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely come back, if we come to Pokhara again. Anyone who is traveling to Ghandruk should consider a night here.

The name of this hotel “super view” is no joke. This hotel has the best view in the world. 5mins to the view point with the statue is best for both sunset and sunrise. Food was great too. They might not have the big menu and a bit pricy but it is another level Nepali food. I had a noodle soup and millet pancake which was great.

It takes some time for hot water but considering it is on the hill of the big mountain, I have no complaints

We booked this room for its phenomenal city views, and it did not disappoint. The lodge is run by a lovely Nepalese family who were incredibly warm and helpful, assisting us with transport arrangements and activity bookings throughout our stay. The food prepared by the mum was homely and delicious, which made our experience even more special. The rooms have also been renovated, with updated interiors and thoughtful features such as a hot shower — especially appreciated during the colder periods. The location is slightly up the hill, but it’s easily accessible by cable car or taxi, depending on your preference. We stayed here for two nights and visited the Sarangkot viewpoint (just a 5-minute walk away) for both sunset and sunrise. This turned out to be a huge bonus — one morning was foggy, so we returned the next day and were rewarded with an absolutely stunning sunrise. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay with amazing views and heartfelt hospitality.

お部屋にエアコンが無く、激寒でした。 フリースを着てビーニーを被って寝ました♪ 温かいシャワーが出ませんでした。 近隣のお部屋の音がまる聞こえで耳栓をして寝ました。 朝食が少なくて私たちには少し足りませんでした。 ヨーグルトとフルーツのおかわりをお願いしたらフルーツはおかわりは駄目とのこと。 ヨーグルトは少しだよとおかわり少しくれました♪ 日本のペンションの様な家族経営の宿です。 ホテルと言うかこじんまりとしたペンションのイメージでした♪

A huge highlight of our month in Nepal. Superview Lodge is incredible and the pictures do not do it justice. The views are absolutely out of this world. The triple room has the luxury of being on the corner so you get almost a 180 view from your bed overlooking the mountains and city. The best thing about this place is the staff. It was my partners birthday while we were here and family at home got in touch with Superview to arrange a surprise for us. We ended up having the most beautiful night dining under the stars next to a lit fire - they truly went above and beyond for us to make this a special stay. We ended up having a couple of drinks and decided we wanted to stay an extra night last minute to which they accommodated with no problem.

We had a really wonderful time at Super View lodge. A huge thank you to the family especially Suman and Harimaya, who made our stay so special. They took such great care of us. The location was perfect, couldn’t ask for a better location for the sunrise, you can literally see sunrise from your balcony. Sarangkot view tower is right there too so it’s a great location to see the Himalayan mountains. Their property is very clean and modern,good Internet and good food. We did paragliding and they organised for us too. 100 percent recommended if anyone goes to Pokhara.

サランコット展望台からほんの200メートルくらい下った大変麗でおしゃれなお部屋でベッドもふかふか、シャワー、洗面も温水、水圧申し分なく、ご飯も大変リーズナブルで美味しく満足でした！朝日、夕陽を見るにも大変便利な位置にあり◎ ディナー後に、気温が下がってきてたのでオーナーが庭で焚き火をしてくれました。その日はスーパームーンで大きな明るい月を眺めながら、火を囲んで暖をとらせていただきました。なんと贅沢な時間。家族でホテルを経営してるようですが、お母さん初め、家族皆さんの笑顔とアットホームさに心癒され、サランコットから眺める朝日の素晴らしさに胸を打たれ、大変満足度の高い、ポカラでの滞在となりました。 ありがとうございました！

2泊しました。ホテルからのロケーションも最高で、頂上展望台に近く、歩いて4～5分です。日の出、入り、お昼と3回展望台に上がり、ダウダギリ、アンナプルナ、マナスル、ガネッシュ、ランタンを一望できる展望を楽しみました。 ホテルはママ、息子、娘さん達の家族経営で、とってもフレンドリーで心配りも素敵でした。掃除も行き届いて清潔感もあり、庭にはいろいろな草花が植えられ、そこでの読書三昧は贅沢な2日間でした。 室内のベッドで寝ながらアンナプルナⅡ・Ⅳ峰、マナスル3山が望めるのは最高です１

I cannot imagine better place when visiting Sarangkot and Pokhara. Breathtaking view right from your room. Lovely Family that will help you to organise everything from the day you step into Nepal. You can experience real Nepalese hospitality and feel like you are visiting your relatives that care about you and are here to support your stay.I strongly recommend not only the stay but also the restaurant - food freshly prepared from the scratch. Now with the cable car you can reach Pokhara within 10 minutes ,enjoy mountain and stay far away from busy city. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Tolle Aussicht und nur wenige Meter zum Viewpoint. Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat uns ein Taxi für eine schnelle Anfahrt besorgt. Ihr Mann brachte uns dann am nächsten Morgen zu unserem nächsten Ziel. Frühstück war variantenreich. Abends noch kleines Lagerfeuer. Uns hat es gefallen.

Amazing view! From my bed I could see the full moon lighting up the whole of Pokhara. And I saw sunrise and the Himalayas, from bed!!!! So amazing! They also decorated my bed with beautiful flowers! The receptionist was a very friendly young guy! Thank you!

Familly Business, mère et fils, très agréable, aidant (pour programmer des circuits), très belles balades au départ de l'hôtel jusqu'à Kaskikot, vues incroyables sur les Annapurna à quelques pas et depuis les chambres le matin. Vue sur Pokhara et lac Pewar, très proche du Temple avec vue 360° pour lever / coucher de soleil. Restauration disponible à toute heure, en commandant avec un peu d'avance. Roof Top, Feu de bois le soir, un petit plus... Le propriétaire m'a fait visiter leurs nouvelles chambres, bien pensées et de très belle facture! A tester!

Harimaya, her son and Bharosa were absolutely fantastic hosts. We loved our stay on Sarangkot despite the weather. They arranged transport for us and were fantastic at responding via what’s app. We had a beautiful walk, with lovely views before the rain!

They have solar panels so hot water was variable however if we asked they turned electric on and we waited 20 mins. It wasn’t sunny when we stayed.

The room was beautiful, very modern, comfortable, and spacious. The private balcony was huge with a gorgeous view of the sunrise, the mountains, and the lake. Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful in suggesting and arranging activities during my 2 night stay. Wifi was excellent, the best I've experienced in Nepal so far! The attached restaurant was beautiful and delicious. And the location is just steps away from the Sarangkot viewing tower, couldn't be better located.

Road noise was present during the day, but quieted down at night.

Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Sarangkot is een aanrader als je wat verder van de drukte van Pokhara af wilt zitten, terwijl de stad wel makkelijk bereikbaar is. De service en kamer waren super. Eten goed. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit de kamers.

The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything! They were quick to respond to any question or need and helped carry luggage up the mountain. The location was excellent, with stunning views and a short walk up to the Sarangkot viewing tower. The breakfast was hearty and yummy! The room and view were great for the price!

Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We zijn hartelijk ontvangen en het personeel is gedurende het verblijf heel gastvrij. De accomodatie en faciliteiten zijn mooi, zelfs nog mooier dan op de foto. Elke ochtend vanuit de kamer genoten van zonsopgang met zicht op de stad en het meer. Bij zonsondergang 2-3 min lopen naar viewpoint voor uitzicht op zowel stad (en het meer) als de rustige vallei. Omgeving is prachtig, rustig en ontspannen maar levendig. Het eten is heerlijk, zowel ontbijt als diner. Wij hebben later in onze trip hier nog bijgeboekt omdat we zo tevreden waren.

Der Blick vom Aussichtsturm auf den Himalaya ist fantastisch. Die Zimmer groß und mit Balkon, das Essen ist gut und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es lohnt sich, ein paar Tage dort zu verbringen.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage. Mein Zimmer hatte Fenster in 2 Richtungen...Richtung Pokhara und Manaslu. Es liegt am halben Aufstieg zwischen Seilbahn Bergstation und View Tower. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das angeschlossene Restaurant ist sehr gut.

The hotel is newly renovated. The hosts are very attentive and responsive. The rooms are very clean, everything is new, and the bed is soft and comfortable. The bathroom has a panoramic window overlooking the mountains and lake. The Wi-Fi is stable and fast. The hotel is located on a hill with stunning views of the sunset, sunrise, and mountains from the balcony. We booked a flight on an UltraLight microplane, a zip line, and a cable car ride through the hotel. Everything was organized perfectly. You can book transfers to various destinations through the hotel, which is very convenient.

This is a stay with amazing rooms. The stay is run by a family and it feels like home. The breakfast is amazing as well. The view itself is hundred times worth the price.

女将さんのマヤさんはじめ、ご家族のホスピタリティが素晴らしかったです。10歳の娘とも打ち解けて下さり、2人旅の中で、とても良い思い出になりました。 ロケーションは、 サランコットの展望台まで徒歩３分ほど、 アンナプルナケーブルカー徒歩で10分ほど、 パラグライダーはお迎え来て、車で数分 と、アクティビティするにはもってこいです。 サランコットの上の方にある宿に共通しますが、移動は街から３０分くらいかかります。taxiや配車アプリでの配車に出し渋り感があり、毎度価格交渉していました。片道最低でも1000ルピーはかかると思ったほうが良いです。アンナプルナケーブルカー、パラグライダーも絡めつつ予定を組むと良いと思います。

Our stay at Superview Lodge in Sarangkot was one of the most memorable parts of our Nepal trip. This charming, family-run lodge—helmed by the warm and welcoming Maya (mother), Suman (son), and Suraksha (daughter)—made us feel instantly at home. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which was impressively spacious, well-furnished, and offered jaw-dropping views of the Himalayas and Pokhara valley. The lodge's strategic location, just steps away from the Ganesha Temple and the famous View Tower, made sunrise and sunset viewings incredibly convenient. The food? Absolutely out of this world—yet still comforting and familiar. We later discovered that all the delicious meals were lovingly prepared by Mdm Maya herself. Every dish tasted like it came straight from a home kitchen filled with love. Suman was always ready to assist us with a bright smile—whether it was bringing our meals, helping to arrange transport and paragliding, or simply answering our many questions. The check-in process was smooth and modern: a quick QR scan and we were all set. While there are steps up to the lodge, the team ensured our luggage was taken care of without hesitation. Their restaurant was under renovation during our stay, and we were told it would be reopening soon. Given the quality of the food, we can only imagine how amazing the full dining experience will be once it’s ready. What truly stood out was the hospitality. Suman and Suraksha were always approachable, responding quickly to our messages on WhatsApp and making sure we felt comfortable asking anything. Their warmth erased any sense of formality—it felt like staying with family. We left with full hearts and fond memories. We genuinely look forward to visiting again—definitely as guests, but perhaps more so as family away from home. Just kidding (not really)... both! p.s. the rooms are way better in person than in pictures!

This was hands down the best place to stay in Sarangkot. Waking up to the panoramic mountain view right from the hotel room window was a surreal experience. The snow-capped peaks glowing in the morning light felt like a dream. The peaceful surroundings, crisp mountain air, and breathtaking scenery made it a perfect retreat from the chaos of everyday life. What truly set this place apart, though, was the outstanding hospitality. The team is clearly thinking ahead of their time. The entire check-in process was smooth and fully paperless. All I had to do was scan a QR code and fill out a quick form. From that point on, I never had to leave my room for any logistical needs. They were in constant contact with me through WhatsApp, making sure I was comfortable and helping me plan every part of my stay. Whether I needed transport, food, or directions, they were always just a message away. They also arranged thrilling side activities like bungee jumping and paragliding, ensuring I had the best possible experience with trusted operators. A very special thanks to Mr. Suman and the entire team. Their warmth, care, and attention to detail made me feel not just like a guest, but truly at home. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine desire to create memorable moments are rare to find. Absolutely loved everything about my stay at this place!!! Starting from the most hospitable family. It is really feels from first interaction how much they love their place, their job and how much they care of guests. Loved meals with a great view from rooftop cooked by Suraksha and her exceptional hospitality. I really didn't expect to see anything at that amazing quality of service and design on top of the mountain with a such affordable price. Another delight is a bath tub window view,I really couldn't get enough from mountain/night city and lake view from my room. They still working on making the place more comfortable expanding the area for dining room and I would love to be back to experience it again for a longer stay. Location is perfect ,5 minutes up to the mountain view point and hindu temple. Family can assist with tours, transportation and anything you need.

The sunrise view was absolutely breathtaking — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The location is peaceful and serene, and I was impressed by the strong WiFi connection that worked flawlessly throughout the property. It really added convenience to the stay.

The serene, mystical location of the place was something that held me in awe. I enjoyed watching the cluster of hills, clothed lightly in mist, from the balcony of my room. I had booked second floor room but upon arrival I wanted to move to the third floor room. The manager was generous enough to allow me enjoy the change. The night view was magical. The staff were welcoming and polite. Besides, the rooms and the space around were immaculately clean. Would be visiting Superview lodge more in future.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Superview. The view of Annapurna range from my room was overwhelming. Didn’t expect that much, to be honest. Suman, owner-cum-manager, treated us like family members. Will be forever grateful for that. This lodge is highly recommended.

I actually visited this place twice during my several week stay in the Pokhara area. Once with a friend to explore Sarangkot and again by myself to have some peace and quiet while joining a 3 day online retreat program. The upstairs suites are stunningly gorgeous, with a gorgeous bathtub, huge comfortable bed, and large balcony that has both city and mountain views. Most importantly the family that owns and runs the business were extremely welcoming and supportive of all my needs. Definitely recommend!

There was always hot water but sometimes not quiet enough to fill a hot tub but that's understandable given the local infrastructure. Recommend doing your tubbing midday not too late at night to mitigate!

We booked this place right after our ABC trek, trust me we really felt pampered! The rooms are absolutely stunning and the location is unlike any other place in Pokhara. And the hospitality Suman and his family provided was top notch, they made us feel really special by helping us out on any itenary as well. They didn’t just manage our stay but they were mind enough to manage all necessary itenaries. I would highly recommend this place and would be back for creating more memories. One of our best decisions in Nepal was to come here.
