Il Fondaco all'Archivio Storico

Room size was a convenient. It was clean. It was located close to the central train station, a reasonable distance to walk even with luggage.

The building entrance is what you could expect in Naples, but not a nice one. The elevator is tiny and the need of using a ten-cents coin to pay for the lift makes no sense to me (dimes are returned at the room, but TAKE CARE of having a coin with you if you have luggage).

Excellent location. Helpful host. Near train station and main center.

All was good!:)

Great location in the old town to explore Napoli Very clean and spacious Modern bathroom Relatively quiet for a busy area

Complicated access, tiny lift (we got stuck briefly!), only 1 roll of toilet paper, AC kept beeping on and off during the night, hairdryer didn’t work properly Fridge full of drinks (to buy) - no room for our own stuff

Great location, very clean and modern, comfy bed, great shower. Always nice to have tea, coffee and complimentary biscuits on arrival. Host was amazing, sent us very clear instructions and videos on how to find the place and organised our taxi to the airport, couldn’t ask for more.

NA

The facility itself is very good, fully equipped and with lots of amenities. The host was very proactive when we needed a car for the airport.

There are a bit too many instructions for the check-in, even though they were clearly written and the host was very attentive, responsive and proactive.

Great location, clean and spacious with great bathroom. Lots of amenities. One of mg favourite stays this trip.

Nil

Location fantastic for walkability. Lively but not too noisy at night. This little apartment was an example of a host that has truly thought of everything. So many thoughtful details to make a comfortable stay. Communication and check in information was prompt and efficient. Value for money outstanding!

Nothing

Relatively convenient

Self check-in, first door to facility from road, then lift up 3 floors which worked only if you had a 10 cent coin, then coded door to property and finally code to access the room. Even bottles of water were not free.

Fantastic location but that is only the beginning of how great this room was. Giuliana Was able to answer all our queries promptly- the instructions of how to enter and find the property were clear. Everything we needed and more was in the room, including coffee machine, first aid kit, toiletries and more! An added bonus was that the room was cleaned every morning. A fantastic stay - great value for money, quiet and safe. The host even provided 10cent pieces to make lift work.

location is convenient

water pressure and temperature widely fluctuated, shower was quite challenging! Elevator in the building is peculiar, to put it mildly, the neighbourhood is quite dirty

Rien

Localização excelente e muito fácil realizar checkin. Local limpo, recomendo!

Close to attractions and quiet neighborhood at night!

Got confused finding the room at first but then it was fine!

Proximity to restaurants and little shops .

Unsafe elevator , avoid at all costs . Got stuck in the elevator

Very well stocked of any amenities you might care for. The cleaning lady was always on hand to help. The room is more like a large studio apartment, with plenty of room.

The shower ran cold. It wasn’t an issue while we were there as it was 30°C consistently, but of note.

The space was very nice and clean. The staff as incredibly helpful and the location was great. Would highly recommend.

Nothing!

Polecam (:

The apartment is very close to Napoli Centrale train station, in the heart of city center, well equiped and very clean. The owner was very helpful and so kind, we got even souvenirs.

Tutto...straordinario appartamento, completo in maniera maniacale...non manca nulla...come a casa.

Nulla

Rauhallinen sijainti ja erinomainen huone kaikilla tavaroilla, mitä matkalla tarvii.

De 10.

Spacious, very clean room in a good location. All the comforts were provided.

There was a lot of noise from the apartment above during the night.

RAS

The room was very clean, quiet and exceptionally well-equipped. It was also regularly cleaned and restocked daily. A pleasant surprise was the complimentary basic breakfast items and coffee. There is also a minibar available for an additional charge. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the historic center. Accessing the property was not difficult if you read the instructions from the owner in advance. Communication with the owner was smooth and friendly.

I have no complaints about this property.

I love how everything is in the room. And we dont have to ask.

This was a fantastic location and the property was really well-equipped with helpful additions like an iron and toiletries and coffee making facilities and more! A fun spot from which to explore Naples.

Accessing the building was tricky for us but the host did everything they could to resolve any issues. We couldn’t use the breakfast option we paid for as the cafe didn’t open til 9 and we had a 10.15 flight.

Siempre me brindó ayuda.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this BnB! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared with every amenity we could need—extra towels, toiletries, snacks, fridge filled with drinks and games! The location couldn’t be more convenient—just a short walk to the train station and steps away from the famous local pizza place (a must-try!). Everything we wanted to see and do was within easy walking distance, which made exploring the area a breeze. Our host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always available with a prompt response whenever we had a question or request. The housekeeping service was a nice touch and kept everything fresh during our stay. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We would absolutely recommend this BnB to anyone visiting the area and would love to return on our next trip!

The elevator is quite narrow and a bit tight, which might be something to keep in mind if you have large luggage or mobility concerns. However, it didn’t impact our stay at all, and the host was kind enough to provide coins for its use, which made things much easier and more convenient.

Location was great! The host was very helpful on getting me to the property and keeping me out of ZTL (I was driving). Very quick response and great communication. Everything plus more was available to us in the room! First aid kit, toiletries, sewing kit, snacks (free) and some drinks available to purchase. AC is a great thing during the summer visits! The host even had a little gift there for us! I would for sure stay there again!

No complaints or suggestions for improvements for Il Fondaco all'Archivio Storico.

Nada.

The property was in a great location to explore Naples. It was clean, quiet with several nice amenities. The staff was exceptionally helpful, kind and offered great suggestions for places to explore and shop. Have excellent directions on how to find the property. Great value, great property.

A very comfortable place to stay, thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need — from toiletries and a fridge to even a sewing kit! Communication with the host was quick and efficient.

We had the most wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb in Naples, Italy. From the very beginning, our host went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress-free. She sent us detailed videos before our arrival showing the street view, how to access the building, the entrance to the flat, and even how to use the lift and every single detail was covered! She even visited the location days in advance to ensure everything was ready for us. That kind of care and thoughtfulness is truly rare. The room itself was absolutely perfect clean, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped. The location was ideal for exploring Naples, and everything in the apartment was of excellent quality. From the air conditioning to the bedsheets, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The washroom was beautifully stocked with all the essentials and more: Q-tips, makeup remover pads, a hair straightener, shoe polish, a shoe brush literally every small thing you might need was thoughtfully provided. There were even extra towels, a laundry basket, and complimentary juices waiting for us. What touched us the most was their kindness. On our second day, although we were staying with a baby and the room had gotten quite messy (we had planned to clean it ourselves before leaving), the host and her team kindly came in and cleaned everything for us. That unexpected gesture meant so much and reflected how genuinely hospitable they are. They also provided a complimentary breakfast, a kettle, a coffee machine honestly, you name it, and it was already in the room. Any time we had a question or needed anything, I would just send a quick message and she would reply immediately with help or solutions. This was by far one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The combination of comfort, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made our trip unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Naples it’s truly a gem!

Location, cleanliness, well equipped and helpful host

The apartment location is superb. The apartment itself is brilliant, spacious, and well equipped. There is everything you could possibly need. Really enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to return. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit naples.

Nothing at all. Everything good.

Lots of thought has gone into what you might need in the room, the hosts are very responsive on WhatsApp and helpful. The bed was very comfy and lots of free toiletries in the bathroom. The location is pretty good too and easy to walk into the Centro Storico and it was very quiet at night.

You need to pay for the lift (they provide some coins for this once you’re in the room though so it’s just the first one you need coins for). It’s at the other end of the centro storico so a little bit further away from things but that’s probably why it’s nice and quiet at night.
