Location & view

The views were spectacular..apartment was clean, aesthetic and fully functional..for a family of 4 adults and 1 teenager,it was perfect. We would definately come here again for a few nights when come down to Taupo. The host was accommodative of our last minute request to change to a unit accesible for my mother who walks with a cane, really2 appreciate that Heidi!

Wish we could check out at 12pm (similar to hotels in Malaysia) so that we could really enjoy the apartment more 🤭 Everything else was good

We had a wonderful stay at Roam Taupō Spa Pool. The house was warm, cozy, and very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The lighting created a relaxing atmosphere, and everything was clean and well maintained. The furniture and appliances were in excellent condition, making our stay comfortable and convenient. One of the highlights was the beautiful view outside, which made the property feel even more peaceful. We also loved that there was a spa pool available. Although we didn’t get the chance to use it, it looked inviting and is definitely something we’d love to try on our next visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Taupō!

Location.... Lakefront...superb views...walking distance to town. Furnished beautifully.

Door code and opening difficult...took a few attempts... wouldn't want to be standing in the rain. Would have liked a few more kitchen amenities...eg glad wrap, foil...not a biggie though. All in all, fabulous.

The amazing view of the lake, the spa pool, modern furnishings and location.

It was a bit hard to get the right drive way turning off the main road if busy, but once you find it you definitely remember.

The location was beyond perfect. The use of kayaks kept the kids entertained and the spa was lovely to end the night in. The accomodation was so comfortable for a family of 5. Everything provided was of good quality and the house was furnished so thoughtfully with relaxation and comfort in mind.

I didn’t like that 6 nights was not enough lol

Great location just in front of the lake. few minutes walk to the hot water beach and swimming beach. Room is clean and modern, really enjoyed the stay!

Everything was just wonderful. So clean. Great amenities. Awesome location. The view was beautiful.

There wasn't a thing we didn't like. In some reviews, people complained about all the stairs and the steep walk down to the accommodation, which honestly nearly made me change my mind. I am so glad I didn't because the stairs wasnt nearly as bad as it sounded. The walk down was broken up with ramps as well, so the portion of actually carrying your bag was very minimal. The front patio was uncovered which was probably the only part I could pick on. However I've since seen the patios have now had covers installed which would make the accommodation completely perfect. If we found ourselves back in Taupo we wouldn't hesitate to book this accommodation again!

The lake view is absolutely stunning, and the room itself was clean, warm, and very comfortable. Communication with the staff was excellent—they responded quickly and were always helpful.

The room is located downstairs with a few steps, which could be a little tricky on rainy days with heavy luggage, but otherwise it was manageable. The only small point for improvement would be the upper loft in the second bedroom, which could use a little extra attention with cleaning.

Great location and right on the lake front. Beautifully furnished and really clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

It ticked every box for me. My favourite part was how close it was to the lake. I loved the walkway out the front, the kids loved the kayaks and we all enjoyed the spa pool.

The spa pool cooled down quickly and we couldn’t get it up temperature quickly. Not sure if something was wrong with it or if the weather just cools it down.

This place was exceptional. As we desended down the stairs we were excitedly anticipating the view. And we loved it. With a liffle help from the owner we entered the beautiful unit. My mistake with the key pad.The view was breathtaking as was the unit. Minutes later we were sitting on the deck wine in hand and embracing the view. Relaxing and enjoying all Lake Taupos beautiful. The unit was expectationall ,clean comfortable and well presented. Thank you Roam from allowing us to enjoy this spot of paradise in NZ.

Didn't like the amount of stairs from the carpark down to the unit when carrying luggage and back up again when leaving...an exemptional amount of steps. Didn't expect that.

Amazing location and house

The accommodation is immaculate. Very comfortable, on the edge of the lake, and everything works very well. Great communication from our hosts. We didn't have any concerns, but I'm confident they would have been quickly resolved if we did. We were really impressed. Thank you very much. We would happily stay here again.

The steep descent from the road to the house, and then ascent back to the car are just something to be aware of. It’s quite steep, so if you have any mobility issues, or issues with climbing, this might not be the place for you.

The property was amazing and very well styled.

The kitchen bench tops were dirty and had the remains of what looked like a sandwich…crumbs and food. The shower screen could do with a good clean. You need to be pretty fit to manage the steep access to and from the property.

Great location, very clean, as advertised, excellent shower, comfortable bed and pillows, responsive host.

Noise from adjoining unit was far too noticeable and annoying, dryer did not function properly, no screens on windows meant they needed to be closed at night (to prevent bugs from invading the unit,) steps down to the unit provided a bit of a challenge (especially at night.)

Absolute lakefront. Very comfortable townhouse with all new facilities. Kids bunk beds were fun for the kids. Coffee machine and jacuzzi were very nice treats for tired travellers. Off-street parking at street level (albeit not lockup) but easy to park a motorhome if you're taking a break.

Stair access to the property not good if you have heavy suitcases or lots of bags. Only downside to being absolute lakefront was pedestrians walking along the path could see right into the main living area and master bedroom so had to keep curtains closed for privacy.
