Sunny apartment in Ålesund city

Overall the property was clean and the owner was helpful.

The property was a little worn around the edges. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable with worn duvet covers. The carpark was a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment, including a short walk up a very steep hill (difficult with suitcases).

Duże i jasne mieszkanie. Dobrze wyposażone. W kuchni były niezbędne przyprawy. W centrum miasta. Ogólnie bardzo polecam.

Parking darmowy, ale oddalony od mieszkania ok 6 min pieszo. Podczas naszego pobytu była włączona suszarka z praniem co uniemożliwiło korzystanie z niej. Do mieszkanie prowadzą strome schody.

Està ben situat. És ampli. Podria estar molt bé si estés cuidat.

Li falta manteniment. No estava prou net. El matalàs i el protector bruts i tacats. L’armari de l’habitació amb la roba arrugada i mal plegada. Els armaris de la cuina bruts. Una cortina al bany que feia angúnia. Poc menatge. Vaig intentar que guardessin maletes una estona al check out i no me’n vaig sortir.

Mancavano le lenzuola per il terzo ospite e non c'era il cuscino. Ci siamo dovuti arrangiare con quello che c'era in casa.

Nous sommes arrivés sur place et nous avons trouvé une porte de service qui n'est pas fermée. Nous avons demandé au propriétaire la clé et il nous a dit qu'il n'est pas en possession. Cette porte accedait à un escalier de service par où tout l'immeuble passe. Nous avons demandé l'assistance du service Booking.com qui nous a dit que la sécurité est une priorité pour eux et de chercher un établissement pour être logés pour les 2 nuits. Nous avons dormi à l'hôtel. Booking.com nous a dit également que nous allons être remboursés intégralement. Au bout de presque une semaine, Booking.com nous dit que nous ne pouvons pas être remboursés car l'établissement refuse. C'est la première fois quand nous demandons assistance à Booking.com. Donc dégoutés à la fois de l'établissement et de Booking.com. D'ailleurs, les draps étaient sales et non repassés et l'appartement sentait mauvais.

Soacious, clean, quiet, good access

Die Lage ist hervorragend, das Zentrum gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist gross und schön eingerichtet. Der Kontakt und das CheckIn waren unkompliziert.

Trinkgläser wären wünschenswert. Es war sehr heiss in der Wohnung.

It was sunny, and close to supermarkets.

It was a little run down, not as clean as it should have been — dust on the window shades and smudges on the kitchen cabinets. Sheets and towels were old with stains that didn’t come off in the laundry, we were instructed to collect all the linens to the laundry, dishes to the dishwasher and take down the trash for checkout, which revealed a mattress protector filled with dust and hair … we normally do those things when checking out of a place without being instructed, but found it strange that it was required. The place was just poorly managed and lacks attention or care for details.

The position

The flat wasn’t very clean, the sofa bed wasn’t ready, we had to do it and it was really dirty. All the bedsheets weren’t ironed and also the towels weren’t nice quality. The blinders at the window were partially broken - as a result it was like being outside even during the night. Overall the flat is having good potential but it looks quite sloppy

If you are walking from airport bus stop with carry on it is a good 15 min walk, last section is a bit uphill and the stairs are a bit narrow to go up/down with carry on. Unfortunately we did not get WiFi when we reached and no one responded to our queries either when we arrived at the apartment. Finally found the WiFi router and had to restart and it worked. The blinds in the living room do not obstruct the light coming into the sunny apartment. The dark blind in the bedroom needs to be pulled down manually which requires one to climb on a chair! The light in the bedroom was not working and unfortunately the host could not get it fixed! Had to call the host the next morning. Toiletries were average, the popular coffee in Norway, that the host said they have for guests was not available but cheaper version of coffee was available in the kitchen. The apartment is spacious and bright. There is no ventilation so have to open up a window. It was still a good value for money in summer.

Nice and cozy apartment, very big kitchen with all necessary amenities. Bedroom is kind of small, but enough for 2 people to sleep comfortably

We didn't figure out how to transform a sofa to bed. It is wide enough to sleep on as it is, but would be nice if it was able to turn into an actual bed

Check inn was easy. The host provided lots of information about the city and sights. The apartment is clean and central. Kitchen has everything necessary. We would definitely stay here again.

Internet is restricted and can be used by only one device at a time.

Nice apartment for the budget.

We did not realize the place was up the stairs and could not find it at first, also did not understand where the parking was. But we talked to the owners and sorted everything. The location is ok and a walking distance from the center, but a bit off the main area.

It seemed a bit dirty, and the ventilation of the place was not good. It is difficult to leave the windows open as it wasn't a long way down to the ground.

The apartment is closed to the city center, view point, paid parking and supermarkets. Has dishwasher, washing machine, and laundry dryer.

The bed wasn't made by linens, and the laundry dryer was full of laundry. The apartment is on the second floor with sharp stairs, which may be inconvenient for travelers with children and a lot of stuff. The bathroom has a strange smell, but the opened window easily resolved this problem.

Apartment was so pretty to stay and take some good time. Thanks for detail informations about Alesund and self check-in.

As a recommendation, it will be fine if you put food towels to the bathroom.

Everything ok. Quiet neighborhood, close to the center. Free parking nearby.

Great room at a great value. If you head up the road, there is a viewing point with a great sight of the city. Free parking next to the apartment, which is also great 👍
