Great location: in the centre, safe, walkable. Comfortable bed, very clean apartment, good space for two people. Kitchen corner also well equipped. Check in was easy and host was very nice. There was enough sound isolation and air conditioning worked really well. Absolutely no smell from fish market and noise didn’t bother us at all.

Wifi worked bad, this is the only reason I give 9 out of 10. Still a great stay and would book it again but would be happy if they fixed wifi.

Wspaniały Gospodarz, który zaopiekował się nami po przylocie. Bardzo komunikatywny, szybko odpowiadał na moje pytania. Sam lokal bardzo wygodny. Było wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy. Sama lokalizacja ma dobre i średnie strony. Z jednej - praktycznie w samym centrum Katanii. Wszędzie blisko i bezpiecznie. Z drugiej - pociągi i hałas z targu. Jednak o tych średnich cechach lokalizacji wiedzieliśmy. A gospodarz zostawia stopery do uszu.

Hałas pociągów i targu co rano. Ale wystarczą dobre stopery. Po 3 dniach nie wracaliśmy już na to uwagi.

Хороші апартаменти. Враження позитивні. Чисто, зручно, комфортно. Рибний ринок після закінчення роботи пахнув приємними парфюмами після ретельного прибирання з використанням дорогих професійних миючих засобів. Приємний гомін ресторанів до опівночі лише був фішкою такого розмішення. На своєму балкончику ви фізично були причетні до атмосфери ресторанів внизу. Рекомендую. Особливо тим мандрівникам, хто любить залізницю і потяги, що проходять поруч.

Historical and big beautiful apartment. Central location and good sleep. Very easy to communicate with host.

The location is really great, giving easy access to everything. The host was very kind and sent someone to quickly repair the water pump when it broke down (don't turn on all water-consuming devices simultaneously!).

The fish market is a bit noisy at night. You can use ear plugs.

The place was wonderful, and we are very thankful for the apartment and the host, there was AC and a blindfold for the morning so the light does not disturb at all. I would definitely come back again.

The area is fantastic as it is close to the city center, just mind that outside there is a fish market so the smell might be (only outside) a bit unbearable. But this is juts the location and nothing related to the apartment at all 😀

Dominic is the perfect host. The apartment is in the perfect position for exploring Catania and area. The apartment has everything you need to make a perfect stay. The Ali Bus is a 5 minute walk away.

Exceeded all expectations

Ligger veldig sentralt. Eier er veldig behjelpelig med alt. Ren og fin leilighet. Ikke noe å sette fingeren på.

The apartment is in an excellent location, within walking distance of all the main attractions, which can be reached in just 5–10 minutes. It is clean, well-equipped, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We would also like to compliment the host for their hospitality. The only minor downside is that the apartment is located above the market, so you may occasionally notice the smell of fish and some noise from the market during the day. Another reason we chose this apartment was the terrace, but unlike the other apartments, ours did not have any outdoor seating. Despite these small inconveniences, they did not affect our overall experience. We had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in a perfect central location.

Nocleg spełnił nasze oczekiwania ze względu na lokalizację i jakość do ceny. Stosunkowo blisko przystanki autobusowe, ale pociąg już dośc daleko, w samym sercu rynku rybnego - co ma swoje plusy i minusy. Pokój duży, przestronny, dobrze wyposażony, klatka schodowa czysta, jest również winda.

Dość daleko do plaży, jak ktoś planuje plażować to nie polecam tej lokalizacji. Do apartamentu nie mamy zastrzeżeń, jeśli chodzi o obsługę apartamentu to jesteśmy zawiedzione, bo o cokolwiek zapytałyśmy spotykałyśmy się z odmową. Dogadać się bo możliwe że nie dojedziemy przez Etnę? Nie, bo minął termin darmowego odwołania. Wymeldowanie o 10, zapytałam czy możemy przedłużyć wymeldowanie o godzinę? Nie, ale możemy wykupić kolejną dobę bo apartament stoi pusty. Ogólnie 10:09 sprzątaczka weszła nam do mieszkania i musiałyśmy wchodzić MIMO że apartament kolejną dobę był pusty. Zostawić bagaż na przechowanie? Nie. Więc uważam, że to bardzo niegościnne. Nie spotkałam się jeszcze z takim nieelastycznym traktowaniem.

The location was excellent. Below was the market for early morning fresh produce. The bus stops were nearby. And major tourist attractions like the Saint Agatha Cathedral. To get to Aci Trezza, very easy with an express bus to the central station and then a direct bus. There are plenty of restaurants for everyone. The apartment does indeed block out a lot of noise and air-conditioning, fridge and washing machine made the stay even more comfortable. It's a gorgeous apartment with lovely paintings and basic facilities. Domenico was always available to answer questions and help out with directions or how to use an appliance. His politeness, kindness and availability were greatly appreciated.

It was noisy early in the morning as it is close to the fish market and you hear people setting up and garbage trucks disposing of trash.

Posizione ottima, le finestre sono sopra alla pescheria e alla ferrovie ma grazie alle doppie finestre rumori molto contenuti che non disturbano. Per parcheggiare l'auto è molto comodo il parcheggio Zurria, vicino e con costo minimo. Staff molto veloce a risolvere piccolo inconveniente.

Eine schöne kleine Wohnung unter dem Dach im Stadtzentrum. Alles war sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Falls man tagsüber zu viel gelaufen war konnte man den kleinen Fahrstuhl nehmen. Die beiden Klimageräte im Wohnraum und in der Küche waren aufgrund der Hitze Gold wert. Hervorheben möchte ich drn Chatkontakt zur Vermieterin. Sie antwortet immer schnell und kümmerte sich um jedes Problem. (Fahrstuhlausfall wurde sofort behoben). Wir können dieses Appartement nur weiter empfehlen.

We had an amazing stay and felt at home throughout our visit. The apartment is spacious, beautifully maintained, very well equipped, and perfectly located in the center of Catania. It was an important part of what made our time in the city so enjoyable. We truly appreciated the comfort, cleanliness, and convenience of the accommodation. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Catania.

Zug und Nachtleben sind ein bisschen laut, haben aber trotzdem gut geschlafen.

The accommodation is fantastic. It is located right in the city centre, on the main square. The fish market is just in front of the entrance, along with several restaurants, and the main square and cathedral are right behind the building. All major attractions are within a 5-10 minute walking distance. We stayed with our 1.5-year-old baby and a stroller, and everything was perfect. ​The room was spacious and well-equipped with a baby cot, a high chair, and window blinds. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom was large. There was even a washing machine with detergent provided, as well as a drying rack. We kept our stroller downstairs in the entrance area, locked to the railing, and we had no issues at all. Even though the market is right in front and a train passes nearby, you cannot hear anything once the windows are closed. Smaller shops are all down the street, and a larger supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away. Everything was excellent, we highly recommend it, and we will definitely be coming back

Gyorsan megszoktuk és a hangulata is megkapó, de akit váratlanul ér a halpiac hajnali zaja, az lehet csalódik. A bekészített füldugó hasznos volt :)

Lage direkt am Markt. Wir hatten uns natürlich Sorgen um Lärm und Geruch gemacht, war aber alles kein Problem. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gedämmt. In den aufzug passt gerade so ein leerer rollstuhl rein. Das hat uns geholfen. Eine Person im rollstuhl, die nicht aufstehen kann, käme mit dem aufzug nicht hoch.

It was located in the heart of Catania, surrounded by the most amazing restaurants and the famous Fish Market. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. 5 minute walk to the Duomo and Domenico is the most helpful, welcoming and amazing host. Always available when needed and even gave us recommendations

Arrival arrangements could have been better

I stayed for two nights in Fish Market House. The instructions to collect the keys were very clear. The host was very responsive to questions and helped me book a taxi for the day I departed. The location is excellent, just around the corner basically from the cathedral square. Lots of good food options nearby and I also took advantage of being able to use the kitchen to make breakfast each morning. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. There was a washing machine and a basin to hand wash, which was really nice to either wash a load or just a couple of items. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and would stay here again.

There was a mild sewage smell in the bathroom at times.

The location couldn’t have been better! We were centrally located to the main square and local attractions.

Lovely and clean, everything you need and the location is perfect, we were able to leave our luggage till 2.30, the cleaning lady had stored them, she was a very lovely lady ❤️

Everything was absolutely perfect!👌🏻 It was a true house even though it was placed in a building. Fully equipped, right in the centre of Pescheria, but quiet and cozy. Bus stations are few minutes away, and centre of the city is 5 minutes by foot. I would definitely come back.

The place was expected. Beautiful, light, airy. Overlooked the fish market which worried me a bit because of smell...but honesty didn't smell in the rental. The market started early in the morning but we didn't hear anything until later after we were up. So it didn't bother us. There was also a market in the evening on the park side and on Sunday an antique market was there. It was a very nice area for our stay.

Dicht bij het centrum.parkeren in de omliggende omgeving is prima.De hostes is erg vriendelijk en goede communicatie.

Je moet de ramen dicht houden ivm het lawaai van de vismarkt die al heel vroeg begint.

We went out 4 breakfast, fish market BBQ! Location is everything here, U are right next to the fish market & only 1 minute from the main plaza featuring the church & many other timeless buildings.

The location is everything here but we stayed over the weekend & the fish market sellers are noisy & setting up stalls early 6am! This is expected as Italians are passionate

Location was in Historic district so we could walk everywhere. Our apartment was oversized with a kitchen and 3 balconies. Everything we needed was supplied for us.

Train was noisy, but with thick windows closed all noise was blocked out.

Very close to the Centro storico and main areas. Appreciated having the washing machine. Apartment is a nice size.

Very noisy, day and night. Fish markets set up from around 4:30am and if you are a light sleeper, that is the last you will sleep.

This is a really good apartment. It has been restored nicely and it is roomy. The problem is its location

The fish market is immediately below the bedroom window and the railway runs right past the house at first floor level. Presumably this is why the host provides earplugs. The situation could be improved if the original thick wooden shutters were modified so they closed completely. There appears to be a serious electrical fault in the kitchen. When we tried to use the hob it did not work - Error E8 indicated a fault concerning the electricity supply to the hob. When we requested help from the host she suggested we try “unplugging the light from the apartment’s main switchboard for 15 minutes, then plug it back in”. We had to leave our uncooked meal and go out to eat.

Great location in the city centre, close to good restaurants and the main attractions. Also close to bus stops with buses to the airport and to Syracuse. Good airconditioning. Clean room and bathroom. Nice, small kitchen. Easy check-in.
