The bed was rather hard. There was some street noise late at night, particularly at weekends as a result of the location near the centre of the city.

This place was very cool. We loved the property and the art. We had a junior suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful with recommendations, very responsive via WhatsApp, and the included breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Location was excellent and very central. An extra huge shout out and thank you to Danila at the front desk who went above and beyond to help me with a stuck dress zipper as we were getting ready for a wedding!! She saved the night.

This is not the hotel’s fault and we would absolutely recommend this place, but it may be helpful for light sleepers to know that it’s truly in the center of night life action on a Saturday night. Our room faced the busy part of the street and it was mostly quiet inside but we did hear the occasional boisterous crowd or late night glass bottle recycling bin being emptied.

Exceptionally beautiful location in the middle of wine fields, beautiful facilities and gardens, walking distance (10 min) to working vinery, spa and infinity pool access over valley view. Superb breakfast served. Very friendly and helpful staff

The location is so relaxing and amenities are abundant. We don’t normally lay around by the pool on vacation, but we did so for 2 days by the main pool and 1/2 day by the beach club. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We both set personal best sleep scores. The staff are exceptionally hard working - we were there during a heat wave and I really don’t see how they remained so alert and friendly the whole time.

The property is absolutely lovely and in a beautiful setting. Strangely, the gym and spa were in a basement that smells a bit of mold. Perhaps they are remediating it?

It was a unique experience! Location was excellent, walking distance to everything. The building and the interior were amazing, truly unique. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Sara! Breakfast location is so nice, overlooking the surroundings and the streets.

Palazzo del ‘700 restaurato mantenendo lo charme dell’epoca. Convivono moderno e antico. Staff gentile e disponibile. Posizione centralissima zona Mercato. Stanza ampia e bellissima. Ottima colazione sulla terrazza.

This hotel is the most unique, special place I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything was exceptional. Georgio, who checked us in was full of useful information. Jorji at the Rooftop bar was great and made us wonderful cocktails.

There is nothing that I could suggest which should be improved at this incredible hotel.

Не могу описать всеми словами восторг от пребывания в этом восхитительном отеле! Точнее палацо!!! Ощущение, что я побывала в какой-то волшебной сказке. Здесь все сделано с такой нежностью и любовью к деталям. Каждый день хотелось бродить по комнатам и залам и рассматривать предметы декора и роскоши. Потрясающая антикварная мебель, картины, я уже не говорю о самом номере и безумно удобной кровати! Завтраки каждый день просто восхитительные (на открытом балконе) с потрясающим видом на центральную площадь. Месторасположение идеально для остановки в самом сердце Катании. Весь персонал - просто замечательный!!! Огромное спасибо за такую красоту и истинное наслаждение! С удовольствием вернусь еще, если когда-либо буду еще раз на Сицилии. Даю 1000 баллов!!! Спасибо!!!

The hotel was more of an experience than a typical stay. Art everywhere, and a layout that was more than unique. The staff was terrific and they even upgraded us to a suite with a balcony that looked over the square. It was our last night of a long vacation and it could not have ended better.

The shower was the most complicated piece of plumbing I have evere seen. We never did get hot water out of it.

Historic nature, art, location, breakfast

Innen war der alte, aber gut renovierte und mit ausgefallener Kunst ausgestattete Stadtpalast toll.

Dass es abends mitten in der Innenstadt mit Lokalen etwas laut sein kann, hatten wir erwartet und hat uns nicht gestört. Problematisch fanden wir aber Kehrmaschinen und (wohl) Müllabfuhr schon zwischen 4 und 5 Uhr morgens.

Ce palazzo transformé en hôtel et galerie d’art est juste exceptionnel ! Les chambres neo classiques regorgent d’antiquités qui nous transportent dans le passé glamour de la Sicile baroque, tout en conservant un confort moderne indispensable. Bref vous ne pourrez que savourer le charme de cette expérience

Difficile esprimere le magnifiche emozioni che ho provato soggiornando per una sola notte in questo meraviglioso palazzo d'epoca di Catania, in cui nulla è lasciato al caso: dalle opere d'arte che si incontrano in ogni dove (prevalentemente di artisti siciliani) e in ogni momento, comprese quelle in camera, alla vista unica sul centralissimo quartiere delle pescherie, visibile proprio dalla nostra camera. Incantevole il rooftop Garden con piante una più bella dell'altra, e l'altro terrazzo che si affaccia sulla bella Piazza Mazzini, dove può anche essere consumata la colazione. Probabilmente è stato il miglior hotel in cui io abbia mai soggiornato! Personale gentile e preparato nello spiegare le vicende storiche del palazzo, le opere d'arte presenti e le leggende a cui sono ispirate. Raccomando di dedicare del tempo per la visita di questo magnifico Art Hotel. Ci torneremo sicuramente anche per la curiosità di vedere le future opere che inseriranno!

The hotel was very unique set in an old family home, dramatically high ceilings, marble staircases, a lovely rooftop seating area. The WhatsApp messaging is excellent for overcoming any language barriers, obviously they spoke English and Sicilian. The staff helped with what to do, where to go, best places to eat, booking taxis, best beaches. They got in special food for me as i have coeliac disease. One of the best hotels we have stopped in.

The stairs were a lot, obviously a lift has been added but it’s small and I couldn’t use it, but you can’t expect anything else from such an old building. Could have done with a kettle in the room but I’m sure if I had asked they would have given me one or boiled water for me they were happy with any requests.

Het is echt een uniek hotel op een perfecte locatie, met erg aardig personeel.

Hoewel natuurlijk te verwachten in Italie was er erg veel lawaai. Wij hadden een extra mooie kamer met zicht op het plein maar de harde muziek ging door tot middernacht en rond een uur of 06 werd vuilnis opgehaald, glasbak geleegd, heel veel herrie op straat. Ook de akoestiek in de ontbijtzaal is vreselijk. Een gegalm van stemmen, borden, bestek. Het was soms oorverdovend.

J'adore cet hôtel, et cela fait trois fois que j'y vais. Tout est beau, chaque chambre est différente, les espaces communs sont exceptionnels et le personnel d'une gentillesse incroyable. De plus, l'hôtel st situé en plein coeur du centre historique.

Thé location was excellent for restaurants, strolling, visiting the Fish Market and the bus stop for our bus to Ragusa. The staff was very helpful - arranged our early morning taxi to the airport for our departure, gave us a tour of the artwork in the hotel. And the breakfasts were exceptional - many choices.

Not having a bathroom door in our suite on the 4th floor seemed odd, and the low ceilings in the other room we stayed in on the 4th floor (our 2nd visit) was a bit scary for tall people (like we are.) We were afraid of hitting our heads.

Artistic presentation, attentive staff.

Artistic venues can sometimes be a little impractical. Water was never hot, no tea kettle in room and tub and shower function was a little above my area of expertise.
