Comoda posizione vicino alla porta nord, a cui si arriva in didi (o transfer organizzato dall’hotel, a prezzo ragionevole). Staff cordiale e disponibile, che al nostro arrivo ha consigliato attrazioni e ristoranti. Struttura piacevole, tranquilla. Colazione cucinata al momento, servita a tavola. Molto apprezzato il cadeau alla partenza ricco di prodotti locali.

Camera un po’ piccola, con poco spazio per aprire i bagagli. Letto rigido (anche se in linea con altre strutture…).

Nos recogieron de la estación de tren a precio de Didi. Agua fresquita siempre preparada para que cogieras la que quisieras. Queriamos comprar un objetivo para la cámara de fotos y nos lo gestionaron todo para que llegará al hotel. Alice habla un perfecto hotel y es super resolutiva. También nos compraron unas entradas para un teatro

Posizione perfetta, a 100 m circa dall’ingresso delle mura, in una zona tranquilla. In reception ci sono delle ragazze gentilissime, che parlano inglese e che ti aiutano ad organizzare le visite. L’albergo offre anche il servizio di pick up in stazione . Ottimo per visitare la città

El hotel está sucio y deteriorado. Aunque está en la ciudad antigua no está céntrico. Las camas son incómodas, de muelles y ya vencidos. La relación calidad precio es baja. Desayuno no es buffet y no merece la pena.

La struttura è molto accogliente, tradizionale e semplice. Il personale è molto disponibile e cordiale, di grande supporto. Fanno sentire accolto e a tuo agio. Appena arrivati ci hanno subito dato indicazioni per capire come muoverci e cosa vedere. Ci hanno aiutato a prenotare il biglietto per le attrazioni e sono sempre stati molto attenti ai nostri bisogni. Assolutamente consigliato.

È da considerare al momento della prenotazione che non si può buttare la carta nel wc come siamo abituati in Europa ma questo vale per la maggior parte degli hotel della Cina. Comunque torneremmo molto volentieri all'Elsewhere Hotel Inn North Street Branch.

Hôtel charmant et très bien placé. Le personnel était extrêmement gentil, serviable et plein de bons conseils pour la visite de la vieille ville (ancienne banque, maison du gouverneur, temples, etc). On nous a même offert des petits snacks lors de notre départ.

It was a wonderful stay. The room and bathrooms were spotless, and the beds were very spacious. We were treated like royalty, and everything was made easy for us. Anything we asked for was resolved with a smile and complete courtesy. If we travel to China again in the future, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. It was a pleasure. Personale gentilissimo in una struttura tipica della città. Le camere si trovano dentro a dei cortili interni bellissimi. Ottima colazione!

È stato un soggiorno veramente piacevole. Se dovessi trovare un difetto sarebbe soltanto la mancanza di un frigo in camera.

Está muy cerca de la puerta norte lo que es fácil de acceso cuando uno llega en taxi ya que los coches no están permitidos dentro de las murallas. La decoración es muy bonita y respeta totalmente el estilo antiguo de las casas. La habitación familiar tenía un tamaño bastante grande y muy agradable con acceso al jardín donde se puede apreciar la tranquilidad del lugar. El desayuno fue adaptado al estilo europeo y nos gustó mucho por su variedad y cantidad. Nos atendieron en mesa. Si tengo que volver, no dudaré en reservar de nuevo. Y las chicas de la recepción eran muy amables.

This was the most charming hotel we stayed in China. Hotel is very quiet, comfortable and with a soul. It's located conveniently within walls of ancient city and within walking distance to everything. Alice was extremely helpful and friendly, she spoke amazing English which is not very common in China. Great breakfast.

Excellent location inside the ancient city, close to the city walls. Beautiful historic building, very clean and well maintained. The staff were kind and helpful. The only minor issue was the language barrier, but they always tried their best using translation apps. Highly recommended!

Excellent location for Pingyao, near where taxis can drop off and also quiet, though just round the corner from the the main pedestrian streets. Very courteous and helpful staff who organised pick up and drop off from the railway station. Very quaint setting round a lovely courtyard, but comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms.

Zeer vriendelijlk en hulpvaardig personeel en een zeer goede locatie. Ook de mooie binnentuin zorgt voor een rustgevend gevoel.

De kamer is aan de kleine kant en het bed staat in een hoekje gedrumd waardoor er geen ruimte is voor nachttafels. Door de kleine individuele waterboiler is de hoeveelheid warm water beperkt en er is zeer weinig druk op het water wanneer andere verschillende kamerd tegelijkertijd water gebruiken.

Buena ubicación, a pocos metros de una de las principales calles. Recientemente reformado, aunque conserva la estructura y materiales típicos de los alojamientos de la zona. El personal fue muy amable y tuvieron un detalle con nosotros al check out.

Se podía ver en el alojamiento estancias de almacenaje un poco más abandonadas. El desayuno, que preparaban ahí mismo, podía ser algo más abundante.

What a fantastic stay! We landed in the middle of nowhere in this charming little town in China where literally nobody spoke English, and we were honestly a bit lost. But the moment we walked into Elsewhere Hotel, the manager and his amazing team turned everything around. They genuinely cared, sat down with us like old friends, and guided us through all the best trips and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. It truly felt like a home away from home — warm, helpful, and full of real conversation. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome to Pingyao. Highly recommend!

Wir wurden freundlich, in sehr gutem Englisch, empfangen. Es handelte sich um ein altes Haus, das zauberhaft renoviert wurde. Die Zimmer gingen vom Innenhof aus. Alles war sehr sauber und modern. Morgens wurde ein liebevolles Frühstück serviert. Bringservice (endgeldlich) zum Bahnhof wurde organisiert.

Petit hôtel traditionnel bien décoré à l’intérieur des remparts (porte nord). La gérante est très serviable et parle parfaitement anglais! Communication facile. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

La ubicación y el estilo de arquitectura del hotel que tiene un encanto muy de hotel antiguo .. Nini - una de las chicas en recepción ha sido especialmente generosa dejándonos su bicicleta para poder movernos por la ciudad y nos atendió de forma excepcional . La cama es cómoda , el lugar está muy bien ubicado justo a la salida de la puerta norte- perfecto para no tener que caminar mucho cargando las maletas. Te dan un pack de bienvenida con unos bollos y una postal - se agradece ese recibimiento. Tienes agua y té, clínex y detallitos en recepción a disposición de los huéspedes . La decoración del hotel en general es bonita

El desayuno es muy básico… echamos en falta más variedad y algo más tipo buffet - no corresponden a un hotel de 5 estrellas. La decoración y el tamaño de la habitación podría mejorar . Una chica que nos recibió en la estación y nos llevó al hotel para el check in lo hizo todo muy deprisa y atropellado - nos llevó en un taxi muy sucio desde la estación al hotel, al llegar nos entregó un mapa de la ciudad pero no nos enteramos muy bien de nada porque hablaba muy deprisa y de forma muy brusca. Fue un poco distante

The hotel is so charming. It’s located in a traditional house within the walls. The staff is truly amazing. They offered us a transfer from and to the railway station and the value was really good. They also provided us with all the information to explore the old city. They also gave us snacks when we were leaving.

The staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. The hotel has nice little courtyards where you can sit on sunny days. The staff organised pick up and drop of from the trainstations and gave us were to go and what to see.

The breakfast was continental, no other options were offered (as far we know).

Sehr gutes Frühstück mit lokalen Spezialitäten und jeden Tag wechselndem Gemüse. Haben jedoch nur das chinesische Frühstück probiert (ausg. Jogurt), westliches Frühstück ebenfalls erhältlich (jedoch kein Frühstücksbüffet). Pingyao ist ein sehr schönes Städtchen, obwohl sehr auf Tourismus und Kommerz ausgerichtet. Das Ticket für die Besichtigung von 22 speziellen Sehenswürdigkeiten lohnt sich auf jeden Fall (3 Tage gültig, kostet 125 Yuan, also ca. 14 CHF bzw. € 15.-).

Eigentlich keine Beanstandungen, ausser dem Wetter! Natürlich ist dafür das Hotel nicht verantwortlich.😉

Este es un alojamiento con mucho encanto. Está ubicado muy cerca de una de las puertas de Fenghuang. Esto te permite estar céntrico pero muy tranquilo. Las vistas son muy bonitas. La habitación es rústica, amplia y la cama cómoda. La persona que lo gestiona es encantadora. Te viene a buscar donde paran los coches, te recibe con te y fruta fresca. Además conoce muy bien el pueblo y, aunque no habla inglés, te explica todos los sitios a visitar y recomienda diferentes restaurantes. Nosotros volveríamos sin dudarlo.

Esta muy cerca de todas las atracciones que visitar en Pingyao, en una calle tranquila pero muy céntrica. A la entrada de la puerta norte. La cama muy cómoda. El baño y la ducha correctos. Desayuno occidental con café, huevos, bacon, tostada, yogur y zumo de naranja. El personal no habla inglés pero con el traductor nos explicó todo lo que hacer en Pingyao, donde ir, restaurantes y horarios. Nos ha encantado.

Мы не могли найти отель из-за плохой работы GPS, позвонили в отель и две феи приехали на мотобайках встретить нас. Весь персонал отеля очень дружелюбный и вежливый, на ресепшен говорят на английском языке. Нам предоставили карту с достопримечательностями, рассказали о музеях, часах работы, дали рекомендации по досугу и ресторанам. Очень быстро реагировали на наши просьбы. В отеле сервируют завтрак: китайский и европейский на выбор. В китайский завтрак входит – каша, яйца, 2 салата, баоцзы и паровые булочки. В европейский – чай/кофе, апельсиновый сок, тосты, мюсли с йогуртом, яичница, бекон, сосиска, мини-пирожные. Советуем остановиться минимум на 2 дня, чтобы насладиться атмосферой.

Well located near the north entrance (within walking distance from taxi dropoff). Quiet and very nice common areas. Nice staff.

Rooms a bit dark (more lights would be nice). Breakfast is not bad but there is room for improvement.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and her staff. The structure is in the heart of the city, and has an enchanting internal cloister. The rooms are large and equipped with every comfort. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. We felt at home and really appreciated the owner's hospitality and friendliness. We will definitely return.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits des großen Trubels direkt an der Mauer. Es ist dennoch gut erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Innenhöfe sind sehr schön gestaltet und wir hatten einen sehr ruhigen Aufenthalt. Am Abend konnten wir bequem im Innenhof sitzen. Kleine Läden und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sowie Restaurants sind in der Nähe vorhanden.

The courtyard with the rooms around it was really lovely, well designed and very well kept. A cute kitten was around, providing entertainment! The breakfast room and entrance were equally very nice, a mix of modern and classic with a nice touch of design. Staff was very friendly.

Room was quite small with little space to hang clothes or put away stuff, need a more functional solution to keep things uncluttered. Bathroom door is glass with wood frames, so not much privacy.

We had a perfect stay af the Elsewhere Hotel North. The hotel looks beautiful. Its modern and very peaceful. The staff was friendly. Our room was spacious. I can recommend a stay in the hotel.

Excellent, kind staff that goes out of their way to help. Room is nice, however the beds aren’t particularly comfortable. Excellent location just a few minutes away from the city gate. The internal courtyard is lovely.

I just had an amazing experience staying at here and I'm compelled to share it. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and utmost professionalism. Check-in was a breeze, taking hardly any time at all. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The bed was like a cloud, ensuring a great night's sleep every single night. The amenities provided were top-notch, from the high-quality toiletries to the fast and reliable Wi-Fi. The hotel's location is also perfect, with easy access to many attractions and restaurants in the area.

The service in the inn was warm and friendly. The front desk lady guided us on how to get to the hotel and patiently introduced the scenic spots in the ancient city and the local delicacies. She also gave us some practical travel suggestions. Both the check-in and check-out processes were very fast and convenient. The hotel rooms were also very good, clean and hygienic, making our stay quite comfortable.

The hotel is just dozens of meters to the right after entering the north gate of the ancient city. The hotel staff are warm-hearted and considerate, always ready to answer any questions. The design of the hotel combines antique charm with modern elements. Sitting and chatting in the central courtyard at night is really pleasant! The rooms are clean and hygienic, and it's quiet when you go to sleep. The restaurants in the ancient city recommended by the hotel staff are of good cost performance. The food there is delicious and not expensive at all. It's really a great choice and a wonderful check-in experience!

The inn is in a great location. It has two courtyards in total, one in the front and the other in the back. With Chinese-style decoration, it's quite distinctive. The breakfast is really nice. All in all, it's a wonderful experience.

The location of the inn is really excellent. The rooms are clean and it's quite convenient to travel around. The butler service is very considerate, patient and explains in detail the scenic spots for visiting in the ancient city. All the delicious foods recommended are great. There are small snacks when you check in and small gifts when you check out. I will still choose this inn next time I come here.

It's a courtyard with two sections. The decoration combines modernity and simplicity, and the small courtyard is really beautiful. Lying on the rocking chair at night, a sense of leisure arises spontaneously. The inn is also very clean, and the sound insulation effect is excellent, which is especially suitable for people like me who don't have good sleep quality. What's a pity during this trip is that the time was too rushed. I only stayed for one day and still felt that I hadn't had enough. It's really nice and highly recommended!

The hotel staff is very considerate, friendly and love to help at anytime, they response very fast and helped to arrange cars to pick us up at the station and take us to the temples. It's located inside the old town which makes it super easy to visit everywhere. Strongly recommended! Nos gusta mucho, especialmente con la gente y servicio!

We had an amazing stay at Elsewhere Hotel in Pingyao! The rooms were wonderful and the personnel was incredibly friendly (and English speaking) and helped us with all our questions. We recommend this hotel.

The property was so beautiful. The furniture, the decoration, the terrace to sit outside of the room. Some of the staff also speak English, and the ones that don’t, are also very friendly and helpful.

The variety of the breakfast was very limited, but not bad.
