Stunning and exactly like the photos. Staff were beautiful and it was off from the busy main road. Quick bike to restaurants and shops. Everything we needed close by 🤍

Gojek and Grab bikes struggle to find it, so we would book them to meet us at Maja Spa really close and not an issue! Can hear padel being played in the background but we didn’t mind it was so lovely!

Breathtakingly beautiful and quiet interior & exterior designs. Felt like I was being transported to an exclusive tropical island. Staff were very helpful.

Too many mosquitoes and smoke/burning smell throughout the stay. No toiletries provided. Some part of the room looks a bit old/moldy/worn out.

Our stay at the Belajar was amazing. The Complex is stunning, well thought-out. The rooms are dreamy, nice big open bathroom. location was great, Communal pool area is divine, The only 2 things that would be great to see in the rooms, is a TV (to drown out outside noises at night) and a Mini bar fridge to store waters/drinks/snacks. I want to go back there to stay again already.

ONLY downsides, the Padel centre backs on to the property so you can hear the Padel players grunting & hitting the ball, However, we were provided a speaker to be able to play music to drown it out a little. Definitely NOT bad enough to impact our experience. We did have a slight issue with the hotwater running out most days, but we understand & accept this is Bali normal.

Wonderful retreat! Very peaceful and relaxing. The staff, were very helpful and polite and friendly, especially Bayo. We really enjoyed the vibe and the beautiful plate of "freshest tropical fruit" and morning coffee made to suit our individual preferences, which was provided each morning during our 3 day stay. Even the communal kitchen, lounge, dining areas are spacious and still were quiet/relaxing which was great!

As someone with longer hair I would have preferred for a conditioner to be included in the shower (along with the shampoo), to save having to buy a large one which we couldn't take with us. Suggestion - pillows for sleeping, might need to be replaced as they didn't provide much support or comfort.

Wunderschöne und sehr ästhetische Anlage, in der wir uns von der ersten Sekunde an rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Sowohl das Personal als auch die Ausstattung waren hervorragend und haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet.

Schön gefunden hätten wir, wenn man als Hotelgast vergünstigt an den Pilates-Kursen hätte teilnehmen können, da das Konzept aus unserer Sicht sehr gut zusammenpasst.

Sehr gute Lage, da man sowohl den Strand, als auch Bars & Restaurants super erreichen kann. Und das obwohl das Hotel sehr ruhig gelegen ist. Man kann im Hotel einen Roller einen mieten. Allgemein sehr hübsche und gepflegte Anlage und super nettes Personal.

Meckern auf hohem Niveau, aber im Badezimmer waren es gefühlte 50 Grad, da kein Fenster und Glasdach. Die Klima reichte idR nicht bis dorthin. Flecken auf dem Bettlaken, die aber wahrscheinlich selbst durch waschen nicht raus gingen (die Laken waren definitiv frisch gewaschen!)

La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel sont vraiment exceptionnelles. C’est un véritable petit havre de paix où l’on se sent immédiatement bien. Même sans être dans une villa privée, l’intimité est parfaitement préservée grâce au calme et au peu de monde présent. Les chambres sont impeccablement propres, très soignées et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Rien à redire, tout était parfait.

Amazing interior and landscape design made it feel premium. Pool was very inviting and lovely to relax in. Rooms were perfectly furnished. Clear roofed bathrooms were a nice touch.

The driveway/footpath to the property is in need of repair There is a padel court behind the property which was noisy at times - not a big deal but it wasn't always as peaceful as perhaps the decor and Instagram photos would suggest

Très très bel hôtel. L’emplacement est vraiment top! Plein de petits magasins ainsi que des banques pour les retraits , beaucoup de grab et gojek donc facile pour se déplacer. Possibilité de louer un scoot c’est encore plus facile. La chambre était nickel , très propre vraiment rien à dire! Le personnel est très très sympa , ils sont aux petits soins pour vous..

Schon beim Ankommen fühlt man sich einfach wohl – dieser Ort hat wirklich etwas Magisches. Das helle, stilvolle Ambiente schafft sofort eine entspannte Atmosphäre, in der man direkt ankommt und durchatmet. Besonders schön finde ich den offenen Wohn- und Essbereich anstelle einer klassischen Lobby – dadurch entsteht eine ganz besondere, familiäre Stimmung. Man kommt leicht mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch und fühlt sich fast wie in einem gemeinsamen Zuhause. Die Villen sind wunderschön gestaltet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und einem ganz eigenen, modernen Bali-Vibe – hell, freundlich und angenehm minimalistisch in Beige- und Naturtönen. Auch die Lage ist perfekt: zentral, mit einem Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke, aber trotzdem ruhig genug, um richtig abzuschalten. Ein besonderes Lob geht an das Personal: unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit, immer mit einem Lächeln da, wenn man etwas braucht. Obwohl kein Frühstück angeboten wird, wird man morgens mit Kaffee, Tee und einer frischen Fruchtplatte verwöhnt – so ein schöner Start in den Tag! Und was mir besonders wichtig ist: Es ist enorm sauber. Man merkt einfach, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt – wirklich eine kleine Wohlfühloase, in die ich jederzeit gerne zurückkehre.

Das sind wirklich Kleinigkeiten und Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau – aber es gibt nur einen (ziemlich kleinen) Mülleimer im Bad. Vermutlich, weil alles so stilvoll und durchdacht eingerichtet ist, hat man sich für diese minimalistische Lösung entschieden. Außerdem kühlt die Klimaanlage nur den Wohn- und Schlafbereich, wodurch es tagsüber im Bad recht warm werden kann. Und da die Unterkunft super zentral liegt, ist die kleine Gasse für manche Taxifahrer eine Herausforderung – manche finden sie nicht gleich oder fahren ungern hinein. Dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts, aber es ist gut, das vorab zu wissen.

Amazing relaxing hotel and staff are so lovely

Die Unterkunft ist super super schön, gepflegt, luxuriös und mit 100% Wohlfühlfaktor. Zum Geburtstag wurde das Bett geschmückt und das Personal war unfassbar freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde zu 100% noch einmal wiederkommen!

Man merkt schon, dass es ein Instagram-Hotel ist und dementsprechend viele Leute dort Fotoshootings machen. Ich habe sogar erlebt, wie jemand seine Klamotten geshootet und auf Kleiderbügeln am Baum aufgehängt hat, während ich daneben am Pool lag. Das störte etwas.

Très bien décoré, calme tout en étant en plein centre, personnel très disponible. Qualité de la literie. Super expérience

The aesthetics of the property were beautiful. Comfortable stay, although the rooms are really small. The staff is polite and there’s a kitchen to make your own coffee or tea. Its a really quiet and couple-y place.

The way to the property is a little difficult from the main road you enter a small lane and mostly cabs refuse to go inside.

Wij waren verrast dat het ontbijt enkel wat fruit was. De kamer was super proper en heel goed onderhouden. Kleine tip: in de badkamer aan de bovenkant zaten erg wat grote mieren.

It was an amazing experience for us. Clean, beautiful and tranquil.

Stunning instagram-worthy setting. Beautiful big and comfortable beds, lots of light and mirrors. Lovely pool area and indoor dining and lounge areas were stunning. They offered a massage deal with the beauty parlor attached which was really really good.

Really felt like a bit wasted on a solo traveller. Feels like you'd want to come with a partner or get a group of friends to get the entire complex to make the most of the experience. A tiny bit far to walk to the ocean and main hub of restaurants but still lots of good stuff nearby.

A very cute boutique hotel, with kind proffesional staff and clean facilities. Very comfortable. Close to Maja studio/spa which offers high-end pilates and yoga classes worth trying.

Its a bit hidden on a backstreet so hard for the taxis to find, and the road to the hotel is quite rocky (no asphalt) so one can easily fall. No breakfast is served and the showerwater smells a bit.

Belajar is absolutely premium, stylish, immaculate and of the highest quality. We spent 2 nights here and were so sad to leave. The staff were absolutely phenomenal, super helpful and friendly. They made us coffee in the mornings and evenings as we sat by the pool. I have a phobia of geckos, and Bali has them everywhere. The staff were so amazing that they came to our room 4 times in one night just to help find the geckos and remove them. They even then moved us to another room away from the trees so that no geckos could come into the room. It felt like I was right at home. The rooms are stunning!!! The pool is like a little oasis. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I especially loved the many lovely spots perfect for taking great photos – truly a dream! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, adding to the overall great atmosphere. Even though we arrived late at night, someone was immediately there to welcome us at the door. I also felt very safe throughout the stay, as there was always staff available. The location is also fantastic, with many cafes nearby. Plus, with a scooter, you're just 5 minutes away from the beach, cafes, restaurants, and clubs – everything is so easily accessible! Everything was perfect, and I’d love to come back. Thank you for such an amazing stay!😊

There’s absolutely nothing I could complain about.😊

I have to express my disappointment with how the hotel manage the non supply of electricity and water happened on 1st October during the second day of my stay. The reason I choose to stay here because of the reviews, facilities and location of this villa. I always pursue high quality and I do not mind to pay for the experience. However, the way the hotel handle this situation was very lack off, Firstly, when I came back from outside around 1pm, no staff inform me regarding the non- power and water supply , until I had to go to ask them why is my AC not working in the room. They told me because of the government’s construction however I think they should inform the guest earlier and also let us know so I could shower or be prepared earlier for my photo shooting session in the late afternoon. I asked them if I could use the spa under the hotel management to shower and get ready. They agreed. The staff escort me to the spa , however when I ask the staff at the spa if I could stow my item in the locker, she said “oh it’s upstairs” and do not attend to my need as she walked away. And I was not even offer to have a slipper at the spa, i was bare feet. They offered me to use the public/open bathroom / toilet to get ready where anyone can come in and also gents, workers. I feel very uncomfortable and frustrated at that time. All I wanted was to be able to stay in my room, shower and do my make up get ready with a nice clean private environment. I know unexpected circumstances does happened however this is a very uncomfortable experience. I believe they could inform me earlier about the whole situation. Also, isn’t necessary the hotel to be prepared with a back up supply or generator for incident like this. Especially a 4 star hotel. And if it’s as what they explained is because of government regulations, why is the other villa around and also the spa electric and water supply is working? So they already knew it earlier but just did not inform the guests.

The staff were always very lovely and helpful. The property is a sort of villa/hotel hybrid which is a brilliant concept. You have the privacy of your own hotel room but a communal kitchen, lounge, pool area that feels like you are staying at a villa. And this creates a very nice atmosphere. The beds are really comfy, I slept like a baby!!
