Red Rose holiday cottage exceeded our expectations. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location, great parking and the cottage had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Was lovely and clean and just what we wanted for our short break. Will certainly return again. Thank you!!!
The cottage was beautiful, very luminous and spacious. The location was great
Two of the toilets had flushing issues, possbly due to low water pressure
Very nice cosy style house, quiet area, big space, suitable for all kinds of stays
Everything was perfect.
Location, the cleanest and most spacious
Sometimes it got colder, and we couldn't use the radiators because of the fear of overusing the oil, but the fireplace was very helpful if we managed to get wood and stuff.
Nice place, very warm, lovely decor and plenty of space
Bit of a fuel oil odour which I’m sure will be fine

Such a beautiful cottage and lovely outside area..Comfortable beds showers were really good all the cooking utensils you need..lovely stove in the sitting room board game to keep the teenager occupied..lovely bar down the road called begleys and the shop to supply the essentials that you need for your stay.
Comfortable and large enough for us all to spread out in. Well maintained.
This property had plenty of space for the family to get together.
Super easy , great communication
Spotlessly clean. Photos don't do it justice. A gem.
Very clean, host was great.
The location was excellant for visiting the Longford Lights festival. (10 miinute drive) The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet and serence country location. The key lock box was handy. The host Claire was attentive and available at all times. The house was warm and had a beautiful bespoke fireplace which we lit. It is roomy for a family of 5.We loved this place and it is very good value for money.
The house was clean. Staff friendly when contacted.
Need mirrors in the bed rooms and bathrooms.
Safe for children
Beautiful old style cottage carefully restored and ideal for a family or group in a quiet rural area ideal for exploring the heartlands of Ireland and further afield.
We like the character of the property and its quiet location. We liked the open fire and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms that we booked. We enjoyed the lovely views of the neighbouring animals and lovely scenery. We also appreciated the added level of comfort with the blankets and comfortable seating and mattresses. Lovely welcome gifts and easy to read booklet.
I liked the layout and how it was organised. The location was quiet and the people friendly. Appreciated the accessibility, and found a bus stop 20 mins walk from the location.
Doors stuck a little once or twice and the ensuite bathroom lacked a lock at the time we were there but honestly a non issue.
Very clean and tidy cottage, perfect for a family vacation, had all necessary equipment for the stay. Beautiful surroundings and quiet atmosphere.

Comfortable, lovely quiet surroundings, small development of 4 cottages. Close to small village of church, shop and pub. Close to Longford Town and all major routes.
We liked everything.
Nice and quiet location with quick access into Longford. The house was spacious and had good sized living room and kitchen. Was nice to have good fast WiFi and TV for the kids. Travel cot provided was very welcome. Good to have a dishwasher and washing machine handy.
The cottage was nice but felt like it needed some remedial work on things like doors not closing/latching. The front door was a nice split stable door which would have been good to have open and keep the kids in but there was no bolt or latch to keep it closed. We couldn't find any cleaning equipment to keep the place clean so needed to buy our own. The wardrobe doors in the master bedroom fell off.
Location was great for us. Very quiet and Cottages looked really pretty. Cottage had everything we needed. Very spacious inside.
On the booking.com listing it said no parking available. But after messaging the vendors they said there was parking available next to the house. So this could of potentially detered some people from booking.
Home away from home.. 👍
Location - peaceful
The beds were not that comfortable and mattress slides of bed in single upstairs room. Some of the internal doors are sticking and difficult to close and them open.
The cottage was lovely. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The setting was perfect....so pretty. A very thoughtful touch that the hostess left us a cake and chocolate which we enjoyed...and also milk, coffee and tea. It was easy to access our key from the lockbox. The hostess has a booklet that was quite useful. It had everything we needed to know about the cottage, garbage, recycling, cabs, close restaurants, etc. It was the perfect guideline and we used it a lot.
We had some issues with the heating but not for long. The owner came by and helped us out. In all fairness, it was a new heating system for the owners. We really loved the cottage and setting...so no complaints.
This cottage is absolutely beautiful,, such good value for money,, our stay was comfortable and we will definitely be returning 😊
The cleanliness, space, facilities, so comfortable.
Couldn’t stay longer had to go back to work.
Everything was great. The house is cozy, warm and very comfortable. The host is great kind and very responsive. I felt like I was at home. Thanks for a nice stay.
The location is very quiet and peaceful. House is very comfortable. Host kept in touch and communicated very clearly with me before my stay, all necessary information provided. I would happily stay there again.
Surprisingly spacious cottage with modern comforts yet still retaining its old world charm. It was perfect for our work trip. The property is set over two floors with a large kitchen, sitting room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one in the ensuite) and a separate toilet. It has excellent heating, electric showers and most importantly comfortable beds. The welcome hamper left for us was a very nice touch. Would highly recommend for work trip or leisurely countryside getaway.
