Lakeview Home Retreat at Queenstown Hill

The facilities are working well to keep my family warm. Kitchen and laundry are well equipped. House is clean. Lake and Mountain View is great.

Only one toilet is kind of not enough for 3 bedrooms house and toilet seat need to be repaired or replaced.

There are some views you never forget, and this is one of them. Waking up each morning to the lake, snow covered mountains and Queenstown below was absolutely breathtaking. The home was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. As a family of four with two older adult children, the layout was perfect and gave everyone plenty of room. The owners were also incredibly accommodating, allowing us a late checkout to suit our afternoon flights, which made our last day so much easier.

We genuinely loved the property and would happily stay again. The only challenge was the very steep driveway during icy conditions. Unfortunately, one of our family members slipped and injured her back, and on departure my husband had to carefully slide down sections of the driveway because it had become so icy. This is obviously weather dependent rather than a fault of the property, but it’s worth future guests being aware if staying during winter for any mobility restrictions.

view is perfect you can watch it all day , House is on second floor , inside 3 bed room with great view you can parking in front of the house there are little toy to play like card and some staff for kid

heater problem it not hold enough for cold in april so if in june/july should be problem there are problem about water too hot , too cold cant control need to call staff for help it just enough to shower but not feel great some cooking staff look old, not work perfectly on oven , gas station we got with 2 adult 2 older 1 kid need to push all the bag to the hill in order to get in the house

The house has amazing views over the lake in Queenstown. The house is very well suited for a group, the rooms and beds were very comfortable too. The hosts were very welcoming and the information they supplied about the local area was great.

Thank you for an excellent stay! The house is really nice, clean and comfortable, and has incredible views of the lake and mountains from the lounge/kitchen and all 3 bedrooms. We loved the location, which is only a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre (if you dont mind a walk uphill on the way home). Definitely recommend!

We really have a great stay at this property for our first time in Queenstown. The location was great, the place was nice and comfy and the view was amazing.

The only thing we have trouble with was the heating system in the house that seems to be setting on scheduled mode. Because during the night it will turn off automatically and then in the morning, it start working again.

Nice view, heater in every room and shower room. Kitchen is well equipped, comes with dish washer so you dont need to wash the dishes after meal. The house is big enough for 6 pax.

Toilet is too cold. The entrance door is transparent,no privacy.

The ample well laid out space, the location and the view from every room in the house 😮. The host were great, very prompt communication and we even received a welcome gift for a special occasion we celebrated

We were not informed about the very steep driveway into the property until we received the access email - this was unacceptable, as a member of our party is disabled and cannot walk up hills !!

The view is very beautiful, all appliances and equipment are clean, and it is a great place to stay.

I booked this place for my parents, aunt, and uncle, and they had a wonderful stay. Communication with the host was very easy and smooth. The house itself is lovely, with stunning lake views, breathtaking sunsets, and starry nights. It’s also a fantastic spot for watching airplanes, which they absolutely loved. This is a fantastic place, and I would highly recommend it!

The location was great and resources in the kitchen were good. Views of the mountains and lake were spectacular.

The seating area in lounge didn't accommodate 5 adults. There was a large couch and 2 footstools which wasn't adequate. The kitchen area heated up by the afternoon and was extremely warm.

The spectacular views, the comfortable house you can sit and watch the sunset.
