Room was a bit cold, would have liked to use the aircon to warm it up a bit. But lots of blankets provided and electric blankets on the beds.

Located on a quiet and beautiful street, very easy to walk into/around Oudtshoorn - and what a lovely town! The location, not keen to sleep in a backyard. The keys were not at the gate, received it from the owner after I called twice. I prefer an electric kettle for quick morning coffee ( not gas). I did not appreciate milk in an open jug in the fridge. There are place for about 9 people to sleep, but only one bathroom. The windows cannot lock properly, all the latches are broken. Primevideo and youtube did not work.

Would really recommend it for a family travelling to Oudshoorn. There are 2 double beds that are really comfy, and 2 single beds. Swimming pool for those hot days in Oudshoorn.

Access was easy, communication via Booking.com and Whatsapp was not a problem. There was also a braai facility if one wanted to braai. We were very happy with the accommodation.

Tutto iper-pulito ed organizzato, letti molto comodi e lenzuola ed asciugamani perfetti. Molto carini i proprietari, il marito di origini italiane, che sono venuti a darci il benvenuto. Cucina superfornita, appartamento ben illuminato. Televisione collegata ad internet, wifi ottimo. Posizione vicina ai ristoranti della via principale e sulla strada per le Cango Caves o le varie Ostrich Farm. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, kitchen with the basics and great shower. Met Ashlea who gave us good advice about the area and informed us about the festival which we went to and enjoyed. Not walkable but a short and easy drive to all the restaurants and shops. Very busy when we were there but mainly because of the festival. Only there for a one night stop over so didn't get a chance to explore the area.
Couldn't get any channels on the TV.

There was a lovely grass shaded spot to relax under next to a private pool area, perfect to unwind and rest the legs after running a marathon. Very quiet neighbourhood. Also the private braai area was perfect. Exactly what we were looking for. The house is tastefully decorated and kitted out with all the essentials, a large bathroom with two basins, bath and shower. The kitchenette is very well made with easy access to everything. The dining room table and chairs make a great centre piece separating the couch/TV area from the kitchen. The bed mattress was very comfortable and there is a great selection of pillows to suit your preference. The unit was exceptionally neat and clean! Very well done!
We were expecting to be able to use the air conditioning at night in case the room was warm. Which it was, it was very hot (compared to Cape Town weather) and there is nothing worse than trying to sleep in the heat when you aren't accustomed to it. But on arrival we were told that we shouldn't use the Aircon after the sun goes down because it is connected to batteries, and that the Aircon drains the batteries. The reasoning I understand, but I feel that should be highlighted when looking at the accommodation. "Aircon" was a non-negotiable amenity when deciding on which accommodation to book. There are two fans that can be used, but fans can only do so much while blowing hot air around the room, and fans are much more noisy compared to air conditioning. This ended up making sleeping uncomfortable, and we were already nervous because we were running our first marathon in the morning.

The handwash and shower gel in the bathroom was very beautiful and helped a lot, also the dishwashing liquid in the kitchen as one do not always remember to pack that.
