Reviewed Sep 1, 2026The window blind in the main bedroom does not block out the security light facing the room. Was a bit difficult to sleep with that. We waited for quite some time to receive the keys as the hosts were busy. Just something to be aware of when you are expecting paying guests. Inform your guests that you will be switching off the electricity at 10h00, check-out time. Although we were ready to leave this left me feeling afronted. Last but not least, if the owners are home, it would be nice to have them come and say goodbye. (Use it / don't use it)

Reviewed Apr 25, 2026Beautiful ‘classy’ place, beautiful property.
My own fears for dogs, but they were beautiful and disciplined.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Wunderschöne, saubere kleine Wohnung auf dem Grundstück der Besitzer neben deren Haupthaus. Wir wurden direkt eingeladen auch den Pool im Garten zu nutzen.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026We had everything we needed, it was neat, clean and everything was in working order. Overall, it was an awesome experience. The unit is decorated in a tasteful fashion and the Nespresso machine was a treat.
I can typically find fault without trying. In this case though I just cant fault anything. If I have to, I would say the shower is one of those open ones without a door and that causes water to splash outside of the shower area. But this is common for this type of shower and for some reason it is a trend.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Mooie unit voor jezelf met gebruik van een klem zwembadje. Super schoon. Erg vriendelijke eigenaren.
Geen privacy wanneer je buiten bent. Het bed was echt te smal.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Beautiful property and central. Easy check in and check out.
Only one improvement idea would be better bathroom light over the mirror.

Reviewed Jan 28, 2026The location was ideal. The shops and restaurants were right around the corner. There were multiple streaming services and strong wifi. The host was very friendly and provided us with local restaurants to go have dinner at.
It was quite loud in the upstairs bedroom. You can hear the light being turned on in downstairs bathroom, the piguins running on the roof and the dogs that started barking at 5am.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025We recently stayed at the property for two nights. The accommodation was very neat and clean and situated in a very tranquil area. The host was polite, however, we did not experience the level of friendliness described in other reviews. Upon checkout, I received a whatsapp message with instructions on where to leave the key. Given the proximity of the cottage to the main house, a goodbye in person would have been appreciated.
Our primary reason for booking was the swimming pool, which was a significant attraction for our two young boys. However, the pool's limited hours of operation, from 10 AM to 7 PM, posed a challenge. Our eldest son, who has ADHD and loves the water, found it difficult to understand the restricted swimming times. This limitation slightly dampened our overall experience.

Just a little hard to access the upstairs bedroom for older guests. Only one couch when everyone settles down to watch a movie at night.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2025No breakfast, location was good.
The property was in first class order, as shown in all the pictures, going forward it would benefit from an en-suite to the 2nd bedroom. But that’s in no way a criticism of the property.
