The accommodation was very clean. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were good.

It would've been useful to have had access to umbrellas, a hairdryer and an airer for wet clothes, as we had heavy rain during our stay and struggled to dry out.

We were welcomed so warmly by Romesh upon arrival and after an unexpectedly stressful Uber trip, he greeted us with fresh tea and a local biscuit. The room has a large bed and extremely comfortable pillows. Breakfast was exceptional, all home made and delicious (thank you to Romesh's wife, you have excellent cooking skills). Such a special way to start our day ahead of exploring the town. Romesh offered lots of local advice which was ideal and saved up on unnecessary tours. Highly recommended for a homely stay while you are away.

Leaving

Romesh en zijn vrouw zijn super aardig en willen je overal bij helpen. Alles in de accommodatie was goed geregeld. Super ontbijt.

Vanwege de regen is het wat vochtig in de accommodatie.

Sehr freundlicher Host, unkomplizierter Kontakt, warme Decke für die kalte Nacht, breites und bequemes Bett, solides Frühstück, netter Empfang mit frischem Tee und Keksen und Beratung zu unserem Aufenthalt, sauber.

Nur kaltes Wasser in der Dusche, kein Duschvorhang oder Duschwanne (Duschen überschwemmt das ganze Bad), sehr hellhörig, eigentliches Zimmer sehr beengt, Preis- Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich zu unseren bisherigen Unterkünften schlecht.

隔音有一點差 淋浴沒什麼熱水

La familia es muy atenta y agradable. La habitación completa y limpia, y el desayuno muy bueno.

Very friendly, helpful host who fixed everything for us, including being up at 5am with breakfast for our national park visit.

Nice view on the tea field. Kind host and nice breakfast and tea. The host helped us organised our activities and answered fast on whatsapp when we needed.

Wifi and shower didn't work well. The tuktuk driver organised by the host was not focus on the road, it was stressfull. Overall, the price is too high compared to other places we have been in Sri Lanka and the equipment provided.

Cosy room in a home stay with wonderful hosts. Room was comfortable and south facing so nice and bright with the blinds open. Breakfast was superb. Romesh was kind and super helpful with local tips

Shower was a bit hit and miss.

Good location and breakfast and friendly hosts

The hosts were very nice with us, they came to pickup us at the train station and wait for us one hour until midnight! He offered us tea and something to eat. The room was clean and confortable with a balcony with a view on the Single Tree hill. This place is aside of the down town and surrounded by tea plantations

Room was nice, with TV, clean bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and family very helpful to organize our needs.

I really like this place - it was cosy, convenient and with lots of facilities. We had such a great view! And owners were so nice and friendly!

Sometimes internet wasn’t very good.

We had an apartment all to ourselves (the hosts live next door). The bed was extremely comfy and we had the best night's sleep of the entire trip here. The bedroom was light and airy, and had a small balcony that overlooked the hills. Breakfast was very generous and homemade by our hosts. Romesh and his wife were lovely and welcoming, and very helpful with local info. It's also very close to the best pizzeria in Nuwara Eliya/maybe the entire country (Salmiya's).

The wifi was hooked up through a phone that was left in the apartment, so it needed to be taken to be charged once during our two-night stay (this happened whilst we were out exploring though).

Excellent service and quiet place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. Never needed to ask for anything, every thing was arranged before we arrived.
