The staff really make this place, they are all so courteous and hospitable. It has a great location - very close to the city proper. Having Cafe Dania, Salt and Pepper and of course the laundromat next door, makes it so convenient.

We stayed here 2 years ago and the place has been maintained fairly well. The flooring is an issue, as the laminate flooring is starting to peel away. We stayed for 7 days this time and we were not offered a room clean, or a towel and bedsheet change for the whole stay. We also had to empty our own bins (supply our own trash bags) 🚮 as there was no service provided. We also noticed the staff never seem to get much time off. They were working long 12 hour days and 7 days in a row.

The rooms are ok, the restaurant and the food was ok, location ok. It is by the road. Easy to get tricycles/pedicabs if you want to tour Calbayog City. We got early checked in without any additional charge. They do have shuttle car/ van ( not free).

No smoking area, not even in the bar up in the 4th floor. You can smoke by the road outside the hotel instead. Expensive coffees by the cafe beside hotel.

This is a nice property for the price point. It’s certainly not the four seasons, but it’s clean, comfortable with air conditioning, and there is a nice top floor restaurant. I would stay here again.

The parking lot isn’t big enough to accommodate everyone. This lead to vehicles parking behind and blocking our vehicle in. When it was time to leave for the airport in the morning, hotel staff had to figure out who were the owners of the vehicles, wake them up, and have them come move.

Only that some necessities are not available and not for free. We we're just expecting for some free coffee sana, kahit 3-in-1 lang 😊

I like the Place close to the shopping centre.

The rooms is not big is too small it's hard to move. I think enough only for one Person.

Staff could be a bit better trained to anticipate needs and more accommodating. Breakfast included was a disappointment as you could not ask for more without having to pay extra. It was not sufficient for me. The room assigned to me faced the main highway. The windows should be double paned or should have some kind of soundproofing. You could hear all the vehicles outside and can't rest properly.

Position, staff and relationship price quality were good. Decent quality at the restaurant on the rooftop, the place is really comfortable.

The breakfast doesn't reflect the quality of the restaurant. To be improved.

Very Clean, very nice bathroom (hard to find in Ph in this price range), nice staff. On backyard room it was very quiet. Room seemed to be bigger in picture, but it was okay.

Only downside was the breakfast, it was good but pretty boring, not much choice, and no tropical fruits haha. But the staff never complained, when i brought some additional stuff to eat to the breakfast table. So just go to fishmarket and bring your own tropical fruit (and a knife, the knifes they give are not cutting it).

Friendly staff and excellent service! Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and food was excellent and delicious. Restaurant city and sea view was beautiful. Family and kids great experience. Thank you so much for the great experience.

I like the location because it’s close to the shopping mall and the city district.

I booked the family room but they did not have enough amenities for us. I had to call the receptionist every time I need a towel, shampoo, soap, hairdryer. It was very disappointing. Also the room is suffocating - no windows. Also the staff in the restaurant could have been more accommodating, the price shown upon order was not the as the price upon billing and when asked they said the price wasn’t updated. Also the pork sisig was surprisingly sweet. And when I told the chef it was sweet, he said no it wasn’t and did not even apologize. I will not book it again.

Location.

Unfortunately, the service was poor. Our room was not prepared when we arrived, and we had to ask for towels and toiletries. We also noticed hair on the pillows, which made us unsure whether they had been properly washed or changed.

Excellent breakfast, by the plate only. Excellent staff and excellent location. Excellent beddings, excellent wifi.

The only thing missing is a phone inside the room, and a water bottle refill station available (we need to ask front desk staff to refill for us). No big deal though.

The rooms were very modern and clean, especially the bath room was clean and new. The bed was large and comfortable. Air condition worked perfectly. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay a lot. Pick up from and transport to airport available.

Food at the restaurant: Excellent I've stayed at WP many times because I fly back and forth from Manila every other month. It is only 15 minutes from Calbayog airport. I checked Excellent on every category as West Prime is easily the best hotel in Calbayog.

Just a minor issue. I am a US resident and carry a Chase debit card and for whatever reason it never works at WP but does elsewhere in PI.

Free breakfast at the cafe. Good menu selection. Rooms were clean and bright.

During our stay, we encountered a very concerning incident. My nephew’s AirPods went missing from our room. We reported it to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager, providing proof of the location through the AirPods' GPS tracking connected to his phone. To our surprise, the AirPods were anonymously returned to our room later that same afternoon. While we’re relieved to have them back, the situation raised serious concerns about staff integrity and guest security. We never received an explanation or apology, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and unsettled. We chose this property expecting a safe and welcoming environment, but this experience fell short of that standard. I hope management takes this incident seriously and takes steps to ensure the safety and security of guests’ personal belongings in the future.

The Hotel is nice but the rooms is a bit smaller and the toilet is no toilet handle to put the toilet paper. The breakfast is not much to choose perhaps is only complementary breakfast.

The Place is nice and safe and friendly staff 😊.

Old but they keep it clean and I love the the entrance and how it’s solid all the foundation looks so strong and like what I saw in Europe.

The property itself is good, but when I went to the bar, I waited for so long for someone to serve me, like I didn’t exist, The staff were good when they start talking to you but very slow when it comes to see you,

This is one of the best hotels in the city. I've stayed there several times and the staff recognizes me and my family. We are treated with respect a courtesy. Also the best restaurant in town is on the 4th floor. The food keeps getting better every time I eat there. If you are an American, European, or Australian, you will be comfortable.

I haven't had a bad experience so I have nothing to say here.

We stay here every year for 7-10 nights when we come for missionary work. The staff goes overboard to help us with anything we need and it's nice to be recognized when we return. It feels like family!

The place is clean, but need to improve the facilities.

The receptionists should learn how to deal with their costumer with respect. They need to have good communication with their own people especially if their some cases or problem with the facilities. They should train their receptionists how to answer to people and refrain from being rude.

The staff are super friendly and hospitable and did their best speaking English. We ended up staying 5 nights here and were not disappointed at all. The rooms are comfortable and are cleaned daily upon request. There is an excellent laundromat next door as well. Cafe Dania is right next door if you need an iced coffee. Highly recommend.

The only negative was the rooms are not sound proof at all. You can hear everything happening outside in the corridors. The music from the neighbourhood was so loud one night but I guess there are no rules with that here!

The second time we stayed and nothing changed much since first visit. Fair breakfast. Good location. Very clean.

This is not the place for the average Filipino or there family even if there renting 3 rooms for multiple days.Better if you give the appearance of being High Class if your going to stay here so the manager doesn't look down upon you and yours..

Proximity to the airport

Aircon gave of a smell like it needed to be cleaned.

It’s near to all the supermarkets, fastfood restaurants and malls etc…the room is really nice and the bed is big enough.

I don’t like only when we enter the hotel and check the bathroom its not clean properly there is stains, smudges on the floor, mirror and toilet bowl. And also there’s a lot of ants everywhere.

Convenient location for shopping, walkable to Malls. Very friendly staff.

As like many of the accommodations I have stayed at it the Philippines, ants are very common especially in the bathroom area.

Breakfast choice was limited but acceptable. The chef made my eggs over medium and then came out to check to see if that was correct. Other meals in the restaurant were quite good. Lots of choices and serving sizes were generous. The staff is excellent and strive to please. Room is clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. If you are in Calbayog I would recommend this hotel for your stay.

Hotel is still new and beddings smell clean. Room is clean. Staffs are friendly.

I arrived at the hotel around 1pm and yet the room is not ready. So i was transferred to another room which is uncomfortable. Balcony has faulty lock and bathroom is a bit smelly from the drainage. I just don't like the fact that at the very beginning, they already know the issue of room 306 yet they accommodate me in that specific room. I reported the issue at 3pm and nobody has reached out til 6:30pm. Another follow up has been made before i was transferred to another room.

I like ghat the staff were accomodating at the room and bathroom was clean with cold aircon. Pillows were soft and bed was sparkling.
