The location was really good. The staff & the food was good but the room was a huge disappointment. There were 3 of us & only 5 coat hangers, absolutely no storage . No cupboard, no drawers no storage in bathroom so we had all our toiletries on windowsills, there was not one hook to hang towels on so we had wet towels either on the floor or the bed. Maintenance needs looking at as toilet roll holder was hanging off & mirror above sink wasnt secure. The window blinds had such short cords on we had to stand on a chair to open & close do this is a huge health & safety issue. The only good thing about the room was that it was clean & 2 nights was certainly a long enough stay
Ad above
The breakfast was nice.
Instructions on where to park were confusing. The room didn’t have any curtains and it was really noisy. Room 7 fronted a busy road and bus stop.
Liked the hotel. Good restaurant although felt was expensive compared to some top restaurants like Miller and carter got a steak.
Had a lot of history and location was easy to find with ample parking
It was old but had a fresh modern vibe
We found the room to be comfortable but very small. The big plus for this hotel was the customer service. I called previous to arrival to ask for an early check in and the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful and pleasant.
Value for money and room size.
Nice downstairs area and breakfast was good
The access to the bedrooms and the bedroom itself was very small and felt cramped for 2 people
Great location
Nothing really to dislike - other than us arriving too late to grab food on a Sunday.
Excellent location, free parking, clean room and delicious breakfast.
Nothing.
Plenty of room, floorboards were a bit creaky but cant be helped Beds were comfortable and clean Plenty of condiments tea, coffee etc Staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast was good and served hot
The staff and food were excellent
The bed was not that comfortable
Handy location for a wedding in the town
Tiny shower and bathroom. Bar was closed before midnight
Exceptional staff, parking breakfast everything good
Had trouble with shower cubicle a little tight but to be honest they've made most of the space in the rooms so really nothing to moan about
Nice and clean had a bar and restaurant
Nothing
We had a lovely big room with great facilities.
Nothing
Lovely property, very high standard. The stable cottage rooms are a great space for a family. Breakfast was excellent.
The shower's not great - limited water pressure and the temperature fluctuates significantly.
Last minute booking and we were looked after really well, the room was lovely, very clean and very comfortable, free parking when signed in. Will definitely stay again.
The staff and management was excellent 👌 10/10 hence why we have booked for next year again
Absolutely nothing to dislike!
The staff and management was excellent 👌 10/10
Absolutely nothing to dislike!
Modern hotel
Small shower
The staff were super friendly and helpful; this created a very welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is well-situated close to the river and a short walk from High Town. The free parking was close to the hotel. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was also good.
The noisy water pumps which kicked-in whenever the toilet was flushed or shower was used in our room or one nearby. One of the twin beds felt like it was on a slope and my husband felt like he might fall out. The beds were very high which was ok for us as we are tall but shorter people wouldn't be able to sit on them comfortably. The shower was tiny and the shower head would not stay in a fixed position.
Downstairs the hotel is well presented. Recently renovated bar and restaurant. Good breakfast service. Room had good mirrors and plenty of sockets.
The stairs and landings are tired. The room was a decent size but the bathroom is small and very basic. No where to hang towels, not even a hook. Tall windows with short pulls on the blinds. Had to stand on a chair to open them!
food good would have like more
ensuite was not the best.
Far too hot
Good location in low town, just a short walk to the railway lift to the upper town. Room was clean and airy. Staff friendly and helpful. Reasonable choice for breakfast. We were allowed to use the car park before check-in as we arrived early.
There was a lot of traffic noise from the road outside. A couple of small maintenance issues in the room which I will be sorted before our next visit.
Good location, easy to find. Lovely breakfast! Well equipped rooms.
We booked two double room - they’re very small spaces so better for a night or two. There were no curtains at the windows and I had to stand on the bed and lean over to reach the blind cords to close and open it - not all guests would be able to (or should have to) do this.

Excellent venue, beautiful location, everyone was very welcoming and brilliant service
Very good all around
The communication to and from the hotel prior of stay.
Two single beds pushed together to make a double bed.
Mooi hotel, leuke bar en goede bediening het bed was goed lekker hoog maar geen airco.
Geen airco op de kamer wel een fan en het raam kon maar iets open, de douche was klein de douchevloer was superglad en klein, voor kleine mensen prima .
Location and decor were good. Room was small but functional. Breakfast was excellent.
Didn’t sleep very well, due to constant noise of what sounded like a fan / motor running outside. I can only think this was perhaps fridge motors or something connected to the kitchen, but it was running all night, with short breaks of a couple of minutes every so often, then restarting and continuing. My room was over looking the back of the hotel, so perhaps this would not have been heard in the front-facing rooms.
The hotel was local to all amenities. Restaurant was great . Room was good.
Could be noisy , also noisy outside of building.
The breakfast was excellent service very good
Room was a bit small bathroom needed a little work
Clean hotel valve for money, friendly staff on the bar and restaurant in the evening and breakfast,
Nothing would return
The bed was too hard did not have a good night sleep
Room was small and poorly ventilated as was bathroom. The worst issue was the narrowness of the two single beds. I kept falling out of it!!!!! Worst nights sleep in a hotel EVER!
No restaurant open on the night we stayed. Whilst we asked for single beds they were so narrow! See Above1
Small rooms and very noisy
Staff were excellent. Food was good and reasonable value. Parking was easy.
The mattress is in need of replacement. There was noise from a fan, I assume from the kitchen, that cut in and out every few minutes all night. The shower had only two simple taps to a shower head that gave only a jet of water instead of a spray. The taps are probably illegal as hotel rooms must have safety thermostatic mixer valves.
Characterful and comfortable hotel in a great location. Fantastic breakfast
Central location in town
Overall everything was just great
Nothing
Easy free parking, restaurant food was amazing and catered for my gluten intolerance at breakfast as well. Had full English which was fantastic. Staff really friendly and accommodating.

Excellent Room, Food and staff - what more can we say. Thank You H & K
Everything was perfect from start to finish
There was nothing to not like
Great location with parking. Friendly helpful staff. Restaurant looked great we should have eat there but went uptown instead, however the breakfast quality and cooking were exceptional as was the coffee!
The room was a bit pokey, if you like more space upgrade to a bigger room.
Excellent location
Breakfast is superb
I think the family room should have a fridge
The staff were excellent. Very helpful. Everywhere was spotless. Car parking was great and free. Natasha was lovely , polite and attentive. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good quality. The studio room was large and very comfortable. When the hotel restaurant opened on the Wednesday night the food was exceptional but be prepared to pay for it, we considered it excellent value.
The bathroom was small and for a large person the shower was not really adequate, but I managed😊 The location was great but be aware, if you want to go to the upper town transport is virtually non existent. We were warned taxis were hard to come by in the evenings , the cliff railway last run is 1800. The hotel has NO dinning or snack facilities Monday /Tuesday and the eating establishments in the lower town were very limited in choice.
Helpful staff. Really good food both for breakfast and in the restaurant.
All ok
Lovely location in a beautiful village. Really nice hotel.
The rooms in the annex, being in a very old property have no soundproofing so you can hear your neighbours.
Centrally located. Excellent for visiting everything that Bridgnorth had to offer
Excessive noise from the business next door which lasted all day and into the small hours.
Beautiful room. Superb breakfast. Lovely staff.
We recently stayed at The Falcon Hotel and had a mixed experience. On arrival, we were disappointed to find our one-bedroom accommodation covered in dust. The room had clearly been shut up for some time, with no fresh air circulating, and the fans were heavily coated in dust. After raising our concerns, we were moved to a lower floor and upgraded to two double rooms. These rooms were clean and dust-free, although the fans still needed a much more thorough clean. A real highlight of our stay was the weekday manager, who was absolutely lovely. She was genuinely apologetic, handled the situation professionally, and did everything she could to make things right. Her excellent customer service made a big difference to our overall experience. Breakfast was very enjoyable, with a good selection and well-prepared food. However, the property felt more like an inn than a hotel, and it was disappointing that the restaurant wasn’t fully open during our stay. We learned that the hotel is under new management, which may explain some of the issues we encountered. There is definitely potential here, and with more experience and attention to housekeeping, we hope things improve. We’d consider returning in the future to see how things have progressed
The property was in a great area. It was incredibly clean and the bar/restaurant from what we saw was immaculate, and very well decorated! Our room was spotless! And the staff member that showed us where we were staying was very friendly and incredibly helpful!
The only thing that let this hotel down, and it would probably require a bit of work, is the creaky floor boards. The people above us got in at around 2 am and felt the need to just continuously walk up and down the room for around 40 minutes. Waking me and my partner, the floor was so loud we couldn’t get back to sleep, and then they did the same thing at around 7:30 the next morning. We are very aware that not everyone thinks about other people staying in the same vicinity as them! And therefore we wouldn’t mark the hotel down on this!
Great location, easy parking with a small outdoor beer garden.
Nothing really
Everything was great! The staff were friendly, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was simple but good, and I felt very welcomed!
The room was fine although quite small so got very hot. We were in a heatwave but the fan was inadequate (small and cheap) but luckily I have put my own in the car so managed to sleep through most of the night. The hot water was not working in the morning and my shower was stone cold which wasn't pleasant. I could have lived with tepid! I would have said something at checkout but the lady didn't bother asking how my stay was.
No hot water
Nicely finished room at the Falcon with a view over the low-town. The fan was welcome as it was a warm night. Breakfast in the restaurant was good. There was ample parking at the rear of the hotel which was easily accessible.
No dinner service on Mondays / Tuesdays but plenty of good options nearby (the Brandon Arms is recommended).
Great location, lovely design and decor Very clean, great atmosphere with friendly staff Really nice enjoyable breakfast Room was great, comfortable bed
Electric shower was leaking, but not a major issue
Room was a little small, but as hot they had put a fan in the room which was great
Room was small , step up to shower was weird and worried slip down step when wet
The location was excellent with easy parking
Nothing
Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and very helpful.
Unfortunately it was one of the hottest days of the year and the room was on the top floor. We had a fan and opened the windows but the room was still too hot and there was alot of road noise throughout the night. This led to a very uncomfortable night. Also the shower needed updating.
Modern interior although old building Breakfast good In the middle of town but had good parking
Unfortunately it was a heatwave and they don’t have air conditioning. It was a very small room.
Perfect location to get around Bridgenorth
Good clean hotel with friendly staff and good quality food

The food ... on the one evening out of three the restaurant was open!
Bedroom was dreadful. Beds too high (>4ft), cramped, virtually no storage space, cupboards or shelves
The hotel is lovely and welcoming, great room, clean and bright. Friendly staff happy to help. Convenient free parking out the back. Great breakfast choice, I especially loved the little pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Hotel location is right in the centre of low town which makes it very convenient to get everywhere.
Only slight thing was that the single beds could be a little wider as they felt small.
Excellent location, and ideal with the parking included due to the limited amount of parking within the town itself. Breakfast was great, with excellent service from the staff.
Perhaps the addition of black out blinds for the street facing rooms may be beneficial due to the level of light pollution.
Perfect to find a 3 bedded room for myself and 2 adult daughters walking up the river . Good central location so lots of meal options in local area. Very helpful staff and delicious breakfast . Excellent shower
Bit noisy at night but that's because it was in the town centre.
Our whole stay was very comfortable and we loved the breakfast
The showers on off switch was broken when we got there and the shower head leaked
the room we were allocated ( no 16 ) was ok ish but the towel radiator in the bathroom was red hot, i told the staff who said they would sort it, on returning to the room at 7-30pm it was like being in a sauna plus when my wife flushed the toilet it filled and nearly overflowed, i went to reception and explained this and they managed to find us another room which was much better or our 2 night stay, apart from this the hotel was nice, the staff were friendly and the location was great, breakfast was good with plenty of choices.
nothing apart from see above
Breakfast was very good

Great space, comfortable
A little noisy outside!
Location. Free parking. Room size
Breakfast tasted nice with choice of eggs how you would like them cooked but the full English only had 1 egg 1 sausage no black pudding no hashbrowns and only a handful of mushrooms you did get 2 slices of bacon though
Good service and breakfast
Very noisy room (15). Woken very early by traffic noise after a late night getting to bed.
Good location. Staff really friendly and helpful. Free Car park.
Net hotel. Gezellige bar mooi restaurant Prima ontbijt. Ruime slaapkamer met idem badkamer. Ruime parkeerplaats. Ligging ideaal voor bezoek aan de Cliff railway.
Keuken maandag en dinsdag gesloten. Bedden erg klein voor 2 personen Geen openbare laadpalen op parkeerplaats.

Northing.
Staff were superb, changed the night I was staying with no hassle at all. Room was fantastic. Food was amazing. One of the best steaks I have ever had.
A bath would have been great. But I struggle to find anything I didn't like.
Nice location. Great breakfast lovely staff
Although everything was immaculate. Room 16 was a bit claustrophobic. Wouldn’t want to spend more than one night in it. Otherwise I can’t fault. 👍
It's a lovely hotel in Bridgnorth. Easy parking. We had a studio unit that was large with fridge and microwave. The bed was nice, furniture was comfortable. It had a great feel to it. Clean and efficient.
The shower was small but did the job.
Friendly staff
Need more plates in room there was only one but apart from that excellent
Excellent Hotel in the middle of Bridgnorth...easy parking included in price. Staff were brilliant, very helpful.
Nothing
Location was handy for Bridgnorth although it is a steep walk to High Town if the railway is closed. Plenty of choice for breakfast and ample free parking. Staff were welcoming.
We experienced a lot of noise from the road outside.
Ideal location, clean, comfortable, everything you could possibly need. All staff were welcoming, helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Spacious rooms, lovely area for breakfast & a very pleasant outdoor area. Parking a great plus.
The family room was clean and comfortable. For the price, inclusive breakfast is thought would be basic...but nooo we had a freshly cooked breakfast to order, it was beautiful @
Bogie in the bathroom
Good location and well stocked coffee, biscuits and spring water and nice clean room. Parking was really handy and lots of spaces . Breakfast adn reception staff very friendly and helpful.
We booked a twin room and when we arrived one of the beds in the room wasn’t so wonky that it was not possible to sleep in it ie it leant towards the head on one side markedly. My friend who arrived first complained to the manager who was very disinterested and offered us a double as the only alternative at the same price. As we are not a couple we didnt want this and we’re then after a lot of pressure offered the original twin room and and also a double but at an extra cost of £50. The managers comment was it’s an old charismatic hotel ….. it may be but surely you can buy a new bed ! We also chose the hotel partly because it had a good menu in the restaurant but on the night of our stay we were told they weren’t serving food. The cooked breakfast in the morning was ok but pretty mediocre in quality.
Perfect Location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast choice. Comfortable bed
Maybe curtains in the bedroom. Due to bright street lights
The location in the centre of town was perfect for us. The team were excellent check on was easy and we are in the restaurant. The staff were very attentive and looked after us really well
Nothing really
Room comfortable. Good breakfast choice. Free parking.
Some information was not up to date - eg restaurant was advertised on line and in bedroom brochure as being available, but had actually closed and wasn't due to reopen for another week, by a different company. Management seemed unaware of this anomaly in information. Also information about parking was a bit confusing - on pay and display machine in car park it said take duplicate receipt to reception for refund, whereas you didn't need to use pay and display at all - just put registration number in machine at reception. In bedroom it advised leaving keys in box on first floor landing - we were in the annex, which was very good, but couldn't find a key box - it didn't say it was in the main hotel - so again, information could have been clearer If I was nitpicking - for the price paid, home made pancakes and authentic Greek yogurt, not shop pancakes and Greek style yogurt would have been appreciated. Little things, but they add up to a quality experience. Worth noting that this hotel is in the low town - cliff railway is a good way of getting to high town where majority of shops, restaurants etc. are. Cliff railway only operates until 6pm, so you need to be fairly fit to walk up in the evening.
