Stayed over night , basic but great value for money.
Beautiful rooms, great location
For that extra bit of value for money we think a cooked breakfast could have been included in the price - not complaining just a suggestion
you have to pay extra for the breakfast but is a fantastic menu & food to match
The garden are can be quite noisy late afternoon /evening with lots of children running around
Comfortable room, friendly service, good food.
The carpet on the stairs leading from the pub to the rooms was extremely stained and not up to the standard everywhere else. Time for a change!
Friendly reception and very clean room
Continental breakfast could be improved Would have appreciated a heathy option- no fruit on our last morning available
Breakfast and dinner not available for us.
All of it it was in a good location walking distance to town
I honestly cannot fault it
The pub could be lovely but it is desperate need of a deep clean. The stair carpet from the pub to the room was filthy. Our room was a lovely size. We was left 1/2 a loo roll?
Cleanliness issues for us
Location was good. Staff lovely and they let us park up in the morning, before our room was ready. Comfortable bed.
The bathroom wasn’t clean; bin hadn’t been emptied from previous people, toilet needed a decent amount of bleach to clean the rim and the shower tray was grimy around the edges. Breakfast is continental, this comprised of either: coco pops or rice crispies, a choice of a few yoghurts, and a few poor quality pastries. No fruit, muesli, croissants or toast. Disappointing
nothing
no parking crowded pub i though we had a booked a hotel pub situated in a middle of housing estate
Really enjoyed our stay ,staff friendly and lovely but efficient
Nothing
Stayed for two days in June and looked after brilliantly. It's a nice walk into town from here too. The staff are stunningly efficient and the manager is too!
Staff member was polite
Filthy dirty stairs all stained broken furniture and rim of toilet undiscribable. No food available or obviously would any breakfast be. We left as couldnt stay in this establishment Requested refund as had to travel an hour to another hotel. No response and obviously dont care !!!!
Great staff. Lovely large rooms. Highly recommend. Chris the manager was excellent!
Nothing
Big quiet pub just away from town in quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff, food was excellent. Can recommend.
The food was well presented and very tasty and arrived in a very short space of time after ordering. A very pleasant dining experience, and our dog was most welcome in any area of the hotel.
The room that we allocated was on the small side, could have done with being larger. Additionally the information that was given prior to booking stated that breakfast was included, what wasn't stated that this was a continental breakfast (We're not continental) and that any other breakfast, e.g Full English, Eggs Benedict, was at an extra cost.
absolutely perfect for our shortbread needs in a Lovely town . Facilitate service and comfort al.l at least very good
Location slightly off centre but pleasant environment 20 minute walk to town
No hot tea
A pot of fresh tea
Downstairs is modern, clean and comfortable
Upstairs needs updating, painting and stairs carpet is awfully stained. Gives a really bad impression. Some simple improvements could improve this place. If owners put some effort into this , l would recommend it but not at the moment.
It was clean and welcoming
No issues
Overall stay was amazing, room was spotlessly clean and had plenty of facilities in room including those to make tea or coffee. Staff were both friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much. Breakfast was lovely and very well priced. Having the pub and restaurant downstairs is a lovely addition if you don't fancy venturing out. We were approximately a 13 minute walk from the centre which was perfect for us. We will be back, we had such a lovely stay it's really good value for money too.
Nothing! Everything was perfect.
The staff was very helpful and friendly The room was excellent they even opened the window and left a big fan on in the room Could not ask for more

Room far too hot to get comfortable. Restaurant closed at 5 so we had to eat before that on both evenings. We would of liked ti eat between 7 and 8, however this was not possible. We have been hoteliers ourselves and feel what was promised was not delivered, ie food should of been served until 8 and the room should of been at a comfortable temperature to sleep. What was supposed to be a relaxing two days were spoilt by these two factors.
Staff were nice and friendly and recommended places to visit.Tea in a teapot was a big plus. Hate teabags in mugs. Paid for a larger room which was clean and spacious .Some noise until the bar closed as overlooked the beer garden. Free parking and easy enough to walk into town centre.
breakfast was included but this, usually my favourite part, was disappointing. Only meant you got a mini box of cereal ,tea, coffee and fruit juices and a danish pastry. For full English and other options you had to pay more. That was I felt very misleading.I did this and it wasn't worth the money. My fried egg was completely dry. The following day my pancakes were topped with lack lustre fruit ( previously frozen?) and squirty cream.Proper whipped cream or even ice cream would have been similar cost and lots better. Only body wash,no shampoo in the shower. If not provided, and for the price paid I expected it to be, at least state so, so some could be packed.
Contemporary decor. Good parking, good outdoor space, Comfy beds
Although a continental breakfast was included which in itself was good the choices to extend this was somewhat limited but would have been good to have on offer for those who are not keen more traditional breakfasts something like fruit or porridge/overnight oats, granola and yogurt for example.
Very clean. Rooms brilliant. Gemma was the perfect host.
Friendly staff Spacious room Good menu
The extract fan didn’t work in the shower
Lovely big comfy bed & great pillows in the deluxe room. Very spacious room with nice decor. Great shower. Coffee machine. Parking included
No room Information . TV so small you couldn't read the info on the screen from the bed. Very noisy room. The deluxe room is clearly above the kitchen.... so we had banging swinging doors every time food exited the kitchen from 3pm to 10pm ,(they were very busy). staff came back in at 6am the following day and it all started again ... there was also an extraction unit switching on/ off all night. Obviously we had the smells from the kitchen too. I expected some nice touches as they have rsted themselves as 5* , like maybe a bottle of water or a biscuit maybe something more than a bottle of 1 x shower gel and coffee/ tea We returned after 11pm. Which meant we had to go through the beer garden. It was very badly lit- it could use PIR lights or certainly low level lighting to help customers through the garden area. A continental breakfast was included... the choice of cereals being coco pops or rice krispies. Nothing more on the cereal side? Odd. The stairs up to the rooms needed a serious clean. When we arrived there were dirty latte glasses lying around outside our room....still there when we left. The staff member pointed out tea/ coffee replacement tray - which was already empty on our arrival. It was still empty on our departure.
Clearer explanation for residents about the breakfast. On the menu everything was priced so gave the impression that the charge for the cooked breakfast was not inclusive of drinks etc…presumably that menu was for non- residents? Some info in the room would have helped to clarify what the breakfast included…ie juices, cereals, cooked breakfast, tea/coffee, toast and spreads…In fact the breakfast was fine and the charge very reasonable though there was no way of knowing what we’d be charged!
Food was amazing 👏 breakfast and dinner were both top notch.
Main light didn't work in our room but no big deal was lamps either side of bed and hallway light.
Staff , very helpful, loved the outside entertainment on such a sunny afternoon .
Spacious well equipped rooms
Some parts of the decoration was getting tired particularly the stair carpet and walls up to the rooms. It gave a poor initial impression.
Lovely staff
Nothing
Helpful pleasant staff. Location. Good food and beer.
Nothing.
Easy to access, liked that I was given door codes so I could come and go independently. It was extremely hot and there was already a fan on the go when I checked in. Nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious
Room was rather small and the bathroom is definitely in need of refurbishing
Friendly, smiling staff and helpful when asked something. Breakfast was tasty and served hot although I would have liked some fruit to have been offered along side the cereals. Lovely outdoor surroundings, very pleasant.
Other than some fruit for breakfast I don’t really have any other concerns.
Clean spacious rooms. Staff were great.
Friendly staff, lovely food!
Pub, food (we paid for hot breakfast) and outdoor area were all really good. Staff were fantastic. Beds and pillows really comfortable and room really clean. Was further from Bridgnorth low town than we thought but that was our error, it is walkable if you are mobile but we jumped in an uber for £5 so it didn't impact us. We would return even though I have put points to improve on, but do think the room prices we paid for how basic our rooms were is a bit high, we thought we were paying for the nicer rooms shown on the photos especially as we had to pay for hot breakfast on top. I do recommend especially the staff who were great but it really needs a bit of an upgrade in the rooms we were in and definitely the stair carpet.
The rooms we were put in were a lot more basic and smaller than photos online. The carpet on the stairs was absolutely filthy and the flooring in bathroom really needs replacing, it was clean but because its very worn it looked awful. There was only one small handing rail on wall with 4 hangers, no storage space or shelves. The plug was opposite end of room to mirror so using hairdryer, straighteners was difficult.
Breakfast was good and well cooked.
Carpets were very stained and worn. Decor was shabby. Very noisy at 7 am with beer kegs being offloaded under window.
Staff were Very pleasant could not do enough for us. Food was great.. Would recommend a stay here. The best hotel we have stayed in Bridgnorth.
Clean place with friendly staff.
Small room and very tiny bathroom sink. Kitchen closed very early at 19:30hrs.
The staff and food were excellent

The staff
The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel one night with friends and it was lovely.
The breakfast, the heat in the room. The only way to try and cool the room was to open the window, which didn't open much. Also the extractor in the bathroom didn't work, There was a continental breakfast, two of the three mornings we were charged for the coffee. We tried the cooked breakfast once and then went out for it. Sadly the Sausages and scrambled eggs were not good.
The food was great, the room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Assistance by staff
Small room
Good choice for breakfast Lovely views
Carpets on stairs and in room need to be replaced. cleaned, but not a huge problem
Early check in was a bonus! Plus continental style breakfast included (albeit a limited selection). Good sized bedroom and fab shower.
Room was a little on the shabby side (some peeling paint) and the tissue holder had come off from the wall in the bathroom.
Comfy room, plenty of hot water, good beer.
Bathroom very tight, breakfast only available from 8am which is too late for business travellers.
Room was very comfortable and the hotel was ideally situated between upper and lower town. Everything was walkable.
The inclusive continental breakfast was indifferent and you might want to pay the little extra for the full English.
Great parking facilities, nice atmosphere in the pub and burning area. Food was of a good standard for pub food. Staff amazing especially staff member ‘Poppy’ She was so helpful.
Large comfortable room. Ample parking. Food in the evening. Buzzy atmosphere. Local real ales on tap.
That a cooked breakfast wasn't included in the room rate, just continental.
The food at the woodberry was excellent and vale for money location is also very good
Nothing
Big room
Noisy people at 6pm arguing
Breakfast not included, location fine for a brisk walk into town
Breakfast included in the price
The room was very tastefully decorated. The bed was huge and comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant…. The food was lovely and the staff attentive.
There was a boiler noise throughout the night which kept waking us up. Continental breakfast was included that was very basic. We were offered toast but it never came.
Staff were nice
Dirty glass in room from previous guest, pillows and bed not the comfiest but ok value.
Good atmosphere and choice of beers.Comfy.Plentiful parking. Nice bedroom.
The cleaning and departing guests were noisy.Hoovering at 8.30 is over keen. Bar food was a bit pricey but good.
Suited our needs perfectly friendly, clean, easy parking, lovely outdoor area Lovely log burner making it very warm and cozy
Would have Liked a bottle of water in room
Breakfast was great. Continental included but option of hot breakfast for additional price which was lovely and not badly priced.
Beautiful breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money and quiet location
Not much storage space in the room i.e. wardrobe, bedside unit
Food good staff excellent, good location r
Room was a little cramped, bathroom sink far too small
The staff were very efficient , beautiful decoration, lovely breakfast , value for money , very clean .
We came on a really hot day and the windows only opened a couple of inches , could do with a fan, it was unbearable 🥴
Very helpful and friendly staff. Food excellent and good value. Rooms very warm and comfortable.
Location just a bit out of town. But not a big issue.
Great staff very accommodating
Liked everything
Staff were really lovely friendly. Room was nice and spacious with all the amenities. Bar area was very welcoming and cosy.
Very noisy late at night. Had to call front desk to complain about other guests at 1.30am (Thursday night) Obviously not the fault of woodberry inn. Both nights we stayed a lot of noise from the car park outside between 3am and 4am. Food was disappointing. Mediocre at best. Although apparently someone had had an accident mid service that night in the kitchen.
Staff were lovely and helpful Room clean Coffee in room good Overall very pleasant
After a very good meal in their bar the previous evening, I had a basis continental breakfast which was in with the room price and was more than adequate. The cooked breakfasts neighbouring tables had at extra cost looked very good though.
Nothing.
Lovely location, great service , friendly, breakfast fantastic.
I think ,on the whole , weighing everything up, maybe breakfast could have been in the price ?
