The host very friendly. Ibu, Bapak, Bli kadek. All of them very kind and gave me a lot fruits and also welcome drink. Room is so spacious and clean. The view from balcony so amazing with sounds of nature. You can see wonderful sunrise when you wake up. They provide sharing kitchen, fruits, water. You can walk on the main street easily and find convienence store and ricefield views. I really recommend you to stay here feel like home. I gonna miss this place so badly.

Beautiful, quiet family run hotel. The service was excellent. The room had everything, was very comfortable and had a great view. Highly recommended

Very nice place, with a beautiful view of the garden and jungle in the distance. It's far enough from the main road to Ubud and on the backside of the building, so very little noise polution. The air is just cool enough for not needing A/C in the night, which is a bonus. Night market only 5 min away and plenty of plenty good restaurants 10-15 min away. Hosted by a friendly family. Water and fruits are provided for free in a shared kitchen.
The mattress is slightly more firm than average, just took a few days to get used to. Location slightly further from the main road than google maps indicated (it's the correct exit, but further down the alley). Took me a few minutes to find it.
Nice, clean and host are so kindly. This is the best guest house I ever stayed.

I stayed with these wonderful people for 18 days. Lekok and his family are incredibly warm and kind. When I got sick, they cooked for me and made sure I never felt alone. I’m truly grateful. The apartment is beautiful you wake up with the sunrise to a stunning view, and spending time on the balcony is pure joy. The location is peaceful, quiet, and full of serenity, yet still close to the center. I will definitely come back again. Sending my love to this amazing family!

The Lekok house is better than some hotels. Rooms are exceptionally clean, modern, spacious and views and quietness of the area are just perfect if you are looking for a place super close to Ubud but without being surrounded by crowds and constant noise. Lekok family is incredibly kind and hospitable and goes extra mile to make sure their guests have a best stay ever. You will immediately feel as a part of the family. Thank you Lekok house for an amazing stay.
I had a wonderful stay, such a genuinely kind family who went above and beyond to accommodate me. The Balinese cake was great treat in the mornings! Thank you!
I loved my stay here. As soon as I arrived, I was greated by the family to welcome me and help carry my bags up to the room. The family offers you a welcome drink and fresh fruit thoughout your stay. What an amazing peaceful place they have created! A great view off the balcony and the room and shared kitchen was kept very clean. The family is so welcoming to share with you information around the area and help you with anything that you need. They helped me untie and tie my luggage on motorbike when I arrived and lefted there. Thank you for all! If you want to escape the busy life of Ubud, I would highly recommend this stay to experience grounding and peace.
The most amazing gem I found this year. Everything was absolutely perfect. Pak Lekok and his family made sure I was comfortable, and the room had everything! It was comfortable, clean and new. Ibu even invited me to join the Galungan procession in Pura. I would come back in a heartbeat. Pak Lekok and his son worked at a 5-star hotel just nearby before he retired. Showed how much of his experience hosting! Also, in the mornings you’ll be able to see the mountain from the balcony.

It's new, comfortable and good value for money. The staff are welcoming. I would come back again one day.
Nothing really. Maybe a little smell from the bathroom occasionally, but it's very common on Bali. Not too many cafes around especially for dinner. But there is one cafe nearby where you will have a 15% discount as a guest :)
The decoration is very new, the bed is very comfortable, everything is clean, and there are not many insects. I really like the view and feel like I am surrounded by the rainforest, Compared to the center of Ubud, it is much quieter here, with no noise from traffic. So peaceful
Excellent all

We had a wonderful stay at the Lekok house! The room was not only clean and spacious but also felt so cozy and well-maintained. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to help us, even arranging a motorbike rental for our convenience. The bed and pillows were super comfy, making it hard to get up in the morning! The bathroom was a real highlight—spacious with lovely subway tiles, and they provided shampoo, soap, and fresh towels, which was a nice touch. We also appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi in the room, which made it easy to stay connected. Though we didn't spend time on the patio, it overlooked a lovely garden and seemed like a great spot to relax. While there wasn’t a fridge in the room, the shared kitchen had everything we needed, including a fridge, stove, and basic utensils. The room itself had all the essentials: air conditioning, a TV, and beautiful wooden furniture. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay, and we left feeling really satisfied. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Lekok house has amazing friendly staff. Incredibly clean, place has only been open for a few months so everything is brand new. Great AC, Bathroom is cleanest I've had and the room is compatible to that of Marriott and Hilton hotels rooms. I extended my stay here multiple times it was amazing to relax here. The views from the room are also incredible and provide a great sunrise too.
N/A. Hotel was amazing and incredible value for money.
Thank you for everything I felt like in my home, the stand is perfect I recommended 100%
Our stay at Lekok House with Kadek was fantastic. The room was spotless, brand new, and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking a beautifully kept Balinese garden. It was the perfect escape from the chaos of Ubud. The value for money here is unbeatable. Kadek and his family welcomed us warmly and were incredibly attentive throughout our stay. Each day, Kadek prepared a different local snack for us, along with fresh fruit salads. He treated us like family. His recommendations for exploring local markets and trying out different warungs were spot on. The entire experience was flawless - Kadek’s place is a peaceful retreat that we can’t recommend enough!
We had a fabulous stay at Lekok house! The guesthouse is beautiful with a garden looking on to the volcano, a beautiful serene garden and a room above all expectation! Extremely clean, comfortable, a very spacious comfortable bathroom, an excellent double bed and aircon if you need, a beautiful balcony to enjoy the view for hours. What makes Lekok house even more special and precious are our family hosts: Djedit and his mother (sorry for the wrong spelling) welcomed us with a delicious refreshing welcome drink and have been very caring hosts to us. There is an outdoor kitchen with fridge that guests can use to cook and there is a water available for refill. The Pisang and fruits for breakfast were delicious and a real treat on the balcony! I chose to stay at Lekok house because we had a foraging and cooking worshop the following day very close by (if anybody is interesting you could ask Djedit about Wayan but Wayan is working on another job so not sure he could organise the workshop as he does it as hobby to share with friends. Yet if you are genuinely interested in learning about the plants growing on Bali and wish to share a few hours with him, he is an artist at sharing his lush natural precious environment and a real natural chef at cooking separately each plant we foraged! They all have their own delicious taste! This place is truly a real gem: natural and simple but abundant: a place that needs to be conserved and protected as it is. Coming back to the kindness of our hosts at Lekok house, Djedit (sorry for the wrong spelling) came on his motorbike as we were walking to Wayan’s place and gave up a lift down there! So kind of him, thank you again! And his mother is a very welcoming person and so kind too! I am so sorry you ran to us as I forgot a book and you ran to our car as we were leaving… Thank you to both again for this short but fabulous stay at your excellent guesthouse! I hope I will come back in a near future! Thank you!
Absolutely nothing!
The view from the balcony is stunning, the family who runs this property is very friendly. Definitely will return here.
The car access to the property is narrow, we must druve extra careful, otherwise the parking is spacious.
the staff was pleasant, helpful and very welcominh, the place is clean, the view is extraordinary, green and fresh, close to several things, the place is worth discovering
Perched on the first floor of this traditional Balinese home is an immaculately modern three-room homestay which tick all the boxes for an exceptional stay experience in Payangan (bordering Ubud). The room is newly built with modern facilities, a double bed, a balcony which overlooks the majestic Mount Agung (See pictures) & sprawling garden below, hot shower facility with a bidet (believe it or not!), free wi-fi, common kitchen, complimentary morning snack, tea & coffee. The owner and his family who live in the building next door are super friendly, hospitable and accommodating. There is a western café nearby and loads of warung down the road. The best part?! The price!!! At $17 per night, this is an absolute steal!! I will come back for sure!! Highly recommended (5/5)
Don't let the exterior fool you! On arrival, the courtyard to this traditional Balinese house looks slightly abandoned. The homestay is so new so they haven't put up a business sign yet, but the owner says that the sign will be posted this week. All these are forgiven once you've entered the room with a view!
