Reviewed Jun 17, 2026Je suis hélas obligé de réduire ma note (chose que je ne fais jamais). Le séjour en lui-même était exceptionnel, rien à redire là-dessus. Toutefois, cela fait plus d'un mois que je demande une facture, qui n'est toujours pas arrivée. J'ai envoyé un premier mail, comme demandé, et on m'a dit qu'on allait me l'envoyer. Un mois et demi plus tard, malgré 3 relances restées sans réponse, je n'ai absolument rien reçu. Dans un établissement de ce standing, devoir batailler pendant des semaines pour obtenir une simple facture manque clairement de sérieux.

Rapport qualité prix déplorable. Parking impraticable, impression d'être dans des montagnes de gravats, tuyaux partout qui ressortent d'entre les fleurs, nourriture insipide, service lent et non proactif, pas d'eau chaude, absence totale d'ambiance (musique...), bar fermé, pas de matelas à la piscine, vin totalement imbuvable, douche sale. Du jamais vu pour ce prix. N'y allez surtout pas. La note globale de 9,1 ne peut pas être liée à autre chose qu'à la meteo qui rend le séjour agréable.

There is not one picture that matches. No bathrobes, no amazing candelight just a few. Maybe it was the wrong week but we were a little disappointed. Also asked to arrange something for my bday but they just forgot. I think it had the potential but not worth the money at all.

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026The staff was amazing and provided an exceptional service. Everything was perfect! I traveled with my wife and my two 12-year-old daughters, and it exceeded our expectations. Not having electricity in the rooms, the privacy and the whole place made everything look wonderful. That was an amazing way to detox from electronics and connect with the family.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026Absolutely loved the camp, location is great, near Marrakech but quite remote. lovely pool area, bar, bonfires , and candlelit tables at night. the whole camp is lit with candles as there is no electricity which adds to the magical feel. The dinner was delicious and breakfast was great too. Friendly staff.
Our tents were very comfortable, with beautiful beds, nice bedding, a heater, carpets. Unfortunately the zippers were all broken and the velcros were not strong enough to close the tents. There was a wind storm at night and we were unable to close the tents which was very uncomfortable and quite scary. The wind blew into the tent the whole night and we couldn't sleep. It is very unfortunate because the tents are beautiful and it is a really magical place, but they need to fix the tents or get new ones.

Reviewed Jan 10, 2026Le cadre et les infrastructures : Le site est absolument magnifique, un véritable décor de carte postale. La piscine, bien que non chauffée, est splendide et entourée de transats particulièrement confortables, parfaits pour se détendre. Le service exceptionnel : Le personnel est d'une grande attention. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le geste commercial : comme les nuits étaient fraîches, l'établissement nous a surclassés sans frais d'une tente vers un logement en pisé (torchis). Le confort et le romantisme : Le logement était très confortable, avec une literie de qualité. Les petites attentions font toute la différence, comme les bouillottes glissées dans le lit. Le poêle à bois, allumé après notre dîner, apportait une atmosphère incroyablement romantique. L'absence d'électricité, remplacée par un éclairage à la bougie, renforce l'aspect paisible et hors du temps de l'expérience.
La gestion du chauffage : Le revers de la médaille du poêle à bois (indispensable en cette saison) est qu'il faut se lever plusieurs fois par nuit pour l'alimenter si l'on veut maintenir la chaleur. C’est un petit sacrifice pour l'authenticité ! Le coût des transferts : Il est important de noter que le budget transport est conséquent. Comptez environ 120 € pour l'aller-retour depuis Marrakech en taxi, ce qui s'ajoute au prix de la demi-pension. Rapport qualité-prix : Le cadre est tellement idyllique qu'il justifie un prix élevé.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Die Unterkunft (Haus) war großzügig und komfortabel, das Ambiente im Raum durch Kerzen und Holzfeuer besonders (kein Strom vorhanden). Räumlichkeiten inklusive Bad sauber, separates WC. Lage der Anlage erlaubt Wanderungen in der Natur.
Anreise bei Dunkelheit mit eigenem Auto sehr spannend, da die Zufahrt von der Straße aus über eine unbefestigte Piste führt und keinerlei Wegweiser vorhanden sind. Orientierung daher eher schwierig. Abreise bei starkem Regen - Piste war schmierig und nicht ganz einfach zu fahren. Für das Wetter kann niemand was, aber die Wege zum Haupthaus waren unbefestigt und bei Regen sehr matschig. Da es in einer Nacht doch stark geregnet hat, kam es leider aufgrund des undichten Daches zu einem Wassereintritt in das Zimmer….

Reviewed Nov 25, 2025The most beautiful oasis one can imagine. Epic lux eco ‘resort’ that couldn’t feel more special. We only stayed for one night and should have stayed for longer. Only an hour from the city albeit do book a cab through La Pause to make it easier as it’s not signposted. The pools are epic - one by the glasshouse our fave. The staff glorious and very considerate. Can swim/relax and walk from the respite happily and explore the desert easily. Only thing (which no issue) to be conscious odd there is literally no electricity at all in rooms/villas albeit can charge your phone near reception. May wish to bring a power bank. Tbh made it more wonderful sleeping by candlelight.

The bathrooms are a little tough to navigate. I found all the bathrooms in Morroco lack privacy which matters depending on how you and your partner role. Also, again an entire country thing but the drinks were lackluster, wine was decent, mixed drinks not.

Dalle piscine, entrambe mozzafiato soprattutto al tramonto, alle zone pasti disposte in modo da lasciare ad ognuno privacy. Il personale è attento, discreto e professionale. Si può vivere l'esperienza del deserto senza rinunciare a qualche lusso.
Nonostante l'utilissimo messaggio con le indicazioni dettagliate e maps, la mancanza di segnaletica nella parte finale rende un po difficoltoso arrivare in auto. Nulla di gra

Reviewed Oct 2, 2025Die Pools sind wunderbar und auch die Nacht im Zelt, in einem sehr bequemen Bett nach einem guten Dinner in einem Ambiente wie in 1001 Nacht war sehr gut!
Die Anfahrt ist speziell, aber machbar, wenn man den ein oder anderen Steinschlag verträgt. Angekommen war leider erstmal nicht klar, wohin und fühlten uns etwas verloren. Dies wurde dann jedoch schnell geklärt. Man sieht andere Camps und auch Lichter, es ist aber durchaus romantisch. Wir haben dieses Camp gewählt, wegen der Ruhe, die hier geboten werden sollte. Es fand aber eine Verlobungsparty statt, sodass die 2000er unsere Nacht in der Agafay Wüste begleiteten. Eine Ruhe-Garantie besteht also nicht.

Ma la parte che ci ha più emozionato e coinvolto è stata sicuramente la cena: oltre ad essere buonissima, l’atmosfera è magica.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025C’est un endroit hors du temps, aux portes du désert, c’est plutôt dépaysant, nous avons été surclassé et avons eu la suite des mariés - trois piscines à disposition dont un bassin de nage, une grande piscine et une plus petite - un repas sans prétention, mais dans un cadre vraiment cool. Une réceptionniste agréable et du personnel serviable. Mentionnons la présence d’un petit bar à côté de la grande piscine.
le prix de la nuit est quand même exagéré.

Jedzenie wyśmienite i porcje bardzo duże. Śniadania, lunch, kolacja serwowane do stolika. Napoje, oprócz tych do śniadania, są dodatkowo płatne. Polecam bardzo.

La Pause Ecolodge Agafay is truly a hidden gem. Getting there is a bit of an adventure, but that’s part of the charm. Once you arrive, you’ll find yourself in a quiet oasis, surrounded by nothing but nature and calm. The atmosphere is incredible—there’s no electricity, which adds to the experience. It’s just you, the desert, and complete peace. We stayed in a lodge, and when we returned from dinner, the entire space was lit up with candles, including the cart—it was absolutely magical. Everything was spotless, the food was delicious, and the staff delivered five-star service from start to finish. If you need to slow down, recharge, and reconnect, this is the place to do it. Highly recommended.
