Reviewed Sep 19, 2026I really appreciated how clean and well-maintained the property was. Everything was spotlessly clean, organised, and ready when we arrived, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff were polite, helpful and welcoming. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and visit nearby places. Overall, the property felt peaceful, comfortable and well managed.
There wasn’t anything major that I disliked. Overall, the stay was comfortable and everything was well taken care of.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026It was good to try somewhere other than hotels and really helpful to stay at a local persons home so you have a better perspective of the area than a hotel or guide might give. It’s definitely more authentic to stay in a typical home. The cold water machine was a really good addition as tourists obviously can’t just drink the tap water so it’s a pretty important point that it was considered.
I didn’t recognise the apartment we had from the pictures. I think in my head we were staying in the blue, green or yellow rooms but when we arrived we were in a predominantly pink space. It was very dark until you opened all the curtains and turned on all the lights but I guess that also kept it cool. I was awake early each morning as the veranda was open to the kitchen area below so you could hear pots and pans being washed and general family life happening. I’m up early at home, but I try to rest on holiday!

They don’t have in house kitchen so for food you have to source from outside. You will have many street food options near the stay on the main road. As it’s a prime location Swiggy and zomato access is good.

Rides are easily available at a point of time for easy access. Owner Pulkit was very friendly and polite. Overall a great place to stay to enhance your experience. I totally recommend it.
If they can add some breakfast/lunch options, it would be really helpful.

Nous avons visité Varanasi durant la saison des pluies, le niveau du Gange est très haut, donc des rues sont inondées et notamment une partie de la rue de l’appartement.

Reviewed May 2, 2025Very comfortable stay at Kashivas. Mr. Pulkit has been an amazing host and helped us in every way possible. He is always available for any kind of help. The rooms were very good. We felt at home during our stay here. Only to nitpick, there is a single washroom for the two rooms, so if you are a bigger group of people, you'll have to manage accordingly. But here also, Mr. Pulkit has helped us by making the adjacent room's washroom available as it was vacant during our stay. Overall a very good place to stay and explore Varanasi. I would highly recommend it!

The front side is full of beautiful plants, making it feel calm and fresh. The house is very clean, well-maintained, and has all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Pulkit, is friendly and helpful. A perfect place to relax while exploring Kashi! Highly RECOMMENDED 🌿
