Reviewed Feb 10, 2026The appartment was generaly fine however, there were serious pest issues during our stay. there were alot of cockroaches and flies throughout the appartment. unfortunately no insect spray or pest control measures were provided which made the stay unconfortable.

The second bathroom could not lock as there were no keys available. The gate padlock for access did not lock. Earlier check-in time would be appreciated so that we could spend more time when we arrive. A braai stand could be provided on the patio.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025The view of the beach was lovely. The unit was situated in an apartment behind another building, but it's elevated so you still get a beautiful view of the beach. It's on the ground floor with parking just outside the door of the unit behind a locked gate. Tastefully decorated with a modern aesthetic. It is smaller in person. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, not ensuite, one bathroom had a lovely shower with a mixer and the other bathroom had a tub with no hand shower and screen so we couldn't use it. J Wifi worked well. Netflix and YouTube available via a smart box. It's not a smart TV so you won't be able to screenshare from your phone. There's one airconditioner in the kitchen. Dish soap and a sponge provided, but it wasn't new. There's no inventory checklist and that means we could just relax and enjoy the beautiful apartment. The place looked clean and neat besides the dusty fans in the bedrooms. The scent of the diffuser made one feel like you are in a boutique hotel.
There's no airconditioners in the bedrooms. Each bedroom has a fan, but they both had thick dust on the blades. There's was a small cockroach in the first bedroom. Please ensure the Netflix and YouTube are set up before guests check in as we couldn't figure out why it wasn't working even after following instructions that were provided and had to ask for help only to find that it wasn't plugged in. Two toiltet paper rolls provided for both bathrooms for 4 people for 2 nights. Always carry extra toilet paper just incase. Dish soap and a sponge were provided for washing dishes, but the sponge wasn't new. There's no handwash to wash hands in the toilets so please bring your own. It would be nice if it was provided. Bring your own body wash etc but that's expected though. We stayed the Friday to Sunday and by Sunday the bin smell was unbearable ene though we had cooler weather. We were going to checkout anyway so we didn't worry to ask Abigail about where to discard the bin. Would be good to leave a note about where to discard the bin if needs be. It would also be helpful to provide a cleaning service at an extra fee to service the apartment during one's stay. It was just the weekend so we just washed our own dishes. Having important information like wifi password, TV set up /troubleshooting, nearby attractions and contact details on a little booklet would be so helpful as the troubleshooting setup for the TV was on the other side of the little Wifi plaque. There's no braai facilities on the balcony area of the unit. One has to go to the bottom of the building to the braai area to braai. Thankfully we didn't have to braai our food.

Only one day housekeeping for the entire week. Definitely not enough. This is not enough and apartment did start getting grimmy. No dishwasher. Why is housekeeping no longer included in stays. You don’t want to be cleaning house while on vacation. This lack of cleaning will see the apartment deterioration very quickly especially with the sea sand and humidity. Tumble dryer didn't seem to be working so clothes took forever to dry as no portable clothes line available.

Reviewed May 26, 2025We enjoyed the majestic view of the ocean, we could see the dolphins from the balcony. We joined the morning walk/ jog along the Ocean and it was so fulfilling. The apartment is very well located and driving to margate and Port Edward was easy for us. We will call again.
